happy end of 2014

my home phone line is still fucked up. anytime anyone calls, the internet goes out. those assholes at Frontier Communications said it would be fixed yesterday. today of course, they said it would be fixed by 5 pm. i can't wait to hear what time it will be fixed tomorrow. just another reason to get off the fucking farm.

the Dayton Flyers played another great game last night, other than the last few minutes where they got tighter than a nun's asshole. Dayton beat Ole Miss 78-74 last night. that should be a win that helps them come March. they go into A10 play at 10-2. 20 wins should be a given this season now. here are some highlights from last night:

pro wrestler Chris Hero was at the Dayton game last night. second time in a week i've seen him there. i damn near wore the shirt of his i have to the game, but i figured there was no way he would be there again. mom tried to get a few pictures of him. of course, she said she was going to email them to me so i could post them on here. as you can see, that didn't happen.

we did go to Waffle House after the game. it was pretty uneventful other than the police officer who came in and was obviously trolling for pussy. that certainly made me laugh and i'll probably have a poem about that soon.

speaking of poems, i did send one poem out late last night. a guy contacted me on LinkedIn and wanted me to send him some work. he requested rhyming poems, which i laughed at, as i haven't written one of those in over 20 fucking years. he then told me to send him anything, which i did. i'll pass on the verdict when i hear back from him. i do like the concept he has for this site/zine. here is a link to it www.newpoetry.net.

it was another cold as fuck morning. the furnace blew at the house my mom is renting out in the next town over. if it isn't one thing, it's another. the one cat out here who refuses to shit in the litter box in the outside building we have it in, left me a huge gift on the plywood floor today. i always love frozen shit that you need a shovel for. good times.

i had another morning on iTunes. i'm trying to find a song they played at the game last night. of course, i wasn't able to find it. you'll see my random thoughts in the songs i got.

i'm looking forward to the USA vs. Canada game at the 2015 World Juniors today. it's for first place in the group. the winner of this game will have the best chance to play for the championship. it should be a good one.

tonight, the New York Rangers play down in Florida against the Panthers. i'd love to see them finish 2014 with a win.

i'll probably go easy with the drinking tonight as Manchester United plays at 7 in the morning here.

i do hope everyone has a great New Year's Eve. if you are drinking, be safe. if you are driving, look out for the drunks.

thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your time.

i'll be on here sometime tomorrow to welcome in 2015. maybe with a smile on my face or perhaps a shit eatin' grin.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

marker food

we had a hard freeze last night. i guess winter has decided to set back in for the end of 2014 here. i put out a little extra bird food for the amazing number of birds that actually stay here in the winter. if they only knew i feed them so the cats will have a chance to kill them... speaking of the cats, they seem to be enjoying the limited amount of sunshine we're getting these days. even the young ones lay out in the yard when the sun is out. it almost made it to 30 degrees today. thankfully, no snow.

i completely forgot when i was writing my blog post for yesterday that i have a basketball game to go to tonight. the Dayton Flyers take on Ole Miss in their final non-conference game of the season. this should be another tough, interesting affair. hopefully i'm enjoying a victory beer later tonight.

the New York Rangers win streak came to an end last night. they lost in Dallas 3-2. oh well, shit happens. they play again on New Year's Eve in Florida. i'll be watching that game after i watch the USA take on Canada in the 2015 World Juniors.

i thought Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. i really enjoyed the evil Seth Rollins. hopefully that's a side of him that comes out more often.
but the best part of the night to me was Daniel Bryan. the way he strung the crowd along and had them and every viewer at home in the palm of his hands.
that certainly put a smile on my face. and it almost made me want to see the Royal Rumble next month. almost.

if you're wondering about the title of this blog, i had some corn for dinner last night. so, think about corn and then think about shit in a toilet. my digestive system is working.

i'm guessing it's going to be another late dinner at Waffle House tonight after the game. the game is being televised nationally on the CBS Sports Network.

mom went into work today. she kind of had to as the phones here are fucking horrible. and the really funny part is the internet goes out whenever the phone rings or is picked up to check for messages or make a call. once again, thank you to Frontier Communications for being the worst fucking company i have EVER used in my life. thankfully, once we move to the new house, i'll hopefully NEVER have to deal with these fuckers again.

mom said she was going to be back home around 2 pm. i laughed as i figured that wasn't going to happen. sure enough, it's a 4:45 pm as i'm writing this and she isn't home yet.

i cleaned the toilets today. that was certainly fun as my back stiffened up each time i had to stoop down to scrub something clean. good times.

i did manage to get a few songs downloaded on iTunes today, even with the shitty internet. you'll see those songs below in the music section.

that's all for me today. i'll be on here early tomorrow as the USA vs. Canada game starts at 4 pm. i certainly want to get everything done before that starts.

hope everyone is having a great day. if not, go open that bottle of scotch you've been hiding from your alcoholic kids and go enjoy it. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your time.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

some sports, some poems, and a tale about a grocery store bathroom

so much to get to. the trip to the doctor today was interesting. mom was of course running late so i had to fly to get us there nearly on time. her blood pressure of course was high and mine was perfect. as you might imagine, i'm a pretty cool customer anymore. i figure it basically comes down to the fact that i'm ok with dying at any given time. the doctor is a little concerned with my blood numbers given the amount of diabetes in my family. so, looks like i need to hit the exercise bike a little more than i normally do (like not at all) and maybe try some supplements (that's not going to happen), but the doctor did say that given my family history, these numbers are going to be hard to get better than what they are now. i figure i need to lose some weight anyway, so i might as well start with the new year. it won't be a resolution or anything like that. if i lose it, great. if i don't, i'll be on pills. good times.

i didn't get much sleep last night. i wrote three more poems up out of the blue. i really like 2 of the 3 that i typed up this afternoon. i'd like to get a few more out and then have a monster submission day early in 2015.

i watched a ton of football games yesterday. the New Orleans Saints won 23-20. not sure if it was a comeback victory or if Tampa Bay realized at halftime they didn't really want to win the game. i enjoyed the victory beer either way. i finished the regular season 170-86 picking games. that's not bad.

i haven't been that surprised with all the firings today in the NFL. it gives all the talking heads something to do.

i remembered that team USA was playing last night in the World Juniors tournament. i watched most of that, mostly because the goalie is a Rangers draft pick. he got the shutout as the USA beat Germany 6-0. they are currently playing as i'm typing this. they are up 2-0 on Slovakia in the 3rd period. if the game finishes before i post this, i'll put the final score at the end of the post.*

we went out to lunch after the trip to the doctor today. i got some hot wings and fries. i figure the chicken was better than the beef. i'm not sure if my stomach agreed with me. as i was driving to the grocery store after lunch, i could feel my stomach start to rumble. i figured it was just gas. i went into the bathroom as my mom went to go get her prescriptions. thankfully, the bathroom was empty. as i started to piss, i got the urge to shit. oh fuck. i got into the stall and holy fucking hell. i unleashed something that would make the dirtiest fuckers on earth tremble in fear. somewhere in the middle of this madness, a guy came in to take a piss. i made sure to let one rip as i figured, fuck it, why the fuck do i bother to care anymore. thankfully, there was some toilet paper. or, something they call toilet paper. i did do a courtesy flush. not sure why, as the bathroom was empty by that point. the stench was still in the air as i washed my hands and left. i almost felt sorry for the black guy that was coming in as i was leaving. almost.

another night of busy tv viewing is ahead for me tonight. after i get done listening to the Archie Miller Show on the radio, i'll turn on Monday Night Raw. while that is going on, i'll flip over to watch the New York Rangers try to extend their winning streak in Dallas tonight. that should be an interesting one. and then, i'll try to remember to catch the new episode of the Men in Blazers tonight. thankfully, not too long until i'll be living in a house with a DVR and i won't have to flip channels anymore.

i figure i'll be on here sometime tomorrow afternoon. i don't think i have anything planned for tomorrow. of course, given how these last few weeks have been going, only god knows what the fuck is going to happen tomorrow.

i hope everyone had a great weekend. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

up early for nothing...

so i checked last night to see what time Manchester United was playing today. i saw that it was much earlier than what i originally thought. so, needless to say, i'm running on a little less than 5 hours of sleep right now.

Manchester United pissed away a few chances in the first half and then hung on for dear life in the second half of a 0-0 draw away at Tottenham. i guess 1 away point is better than none. especially if the goal is to finish the season in the top 4. oh well, not that my bad back could have used that victory beer or anything.

the New York Rangers got me that victory beer last night. Derek Stepan scored all 3 goals (which helps my fantasy team greatly) and the Rangers beat the shitty Devils 3-1. below are some highlights of their 8th straight win:

i did watch a few crazy college football games last night. the basketball games weren't nearly as entertaining.

ROH was excellent last night. the elimination tag team match was great. i love that at least the indies still understand how great tag team wrestling can be.

i did some poetry work last night while i was chatting with the muse. i suppose if i get more rejections than acceptances when i do send out this batch, i'll blame her. i found a couple places that i haven't sent to before. so, i think i'm going to send all this out in the first week of 2015. hopefully i can get the new year off to a bang. plus, that gives me some more time to write some new poems as well.

mom wanted me to watch a YouTube video yesterday that was about the area of Dayton she grew up in. she made a point to point out the house she grew up in. apparently, it never dawned on her or even better, she didn't care to remember, that house was also the house i was molested in as a child. i don't know what made me angrier. the fact she wanted me to watch the video right before the Rangers game was coming on or that it never registered in her head that i might not want to see a video of a place that has some horrific memories in my head. of course, we haven't talked about it, because that's not what dysfunctional families do. as you might imagine, i've been seething with anger for the past 18 hours or so.

today will thankfully be the final game of the New Orleans Saints sorry ass season. i'll watch it simply because i enjoy torturing myself. plus, i'd like to see them actually win again this season. of course, neither the Saints nor Tampa Bay will want to win this game because a loss gives either team a better draft pick next season. so, i'm really looking forward to this shit fest.

other than that, there's a few other games i'll try to watch today. i also have the trash to take care of, cats to feed, and since there are no Sunday night shows on tonight that i usually watch, one long ass shower to take.

i'll be on here tomorrow sometime after i get back from the doctor. i believe it's just the normal end of the year checkup type shit tomorrow. or, maybe he'll surprise me with a prescription for stronger pain pills. those would go nice with the vodka.

hope everyone is having a great weekend. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

the holidays wouldn't be complete without some internet problems

i know ONE thing i will not fucking miss when i move away from the farm... this shitty internet that Frontier Communications sells us. holy fucking shit. i've seen old people fuck faster than this today. thank god i haven't been trying to post anything important today. seriously, i would suggest you get AIDS rather than do business with this fucking company.

i bounced around the channels last night, eventually settling on some UFC and then Treehouse Masters. i also did the dishes, which fucking sucked. i could tell some rainy weather was coming. but, an ice pack and a victory beer helped calm that pain down.

the bank was a little slow today. mostly because of the woman wearing socks and sandals. she had no clue how to fill out a deposit slip. as i got back in the car, i told my mother i'm amazed that i haven't killed everyone in this town. as you might imagine, it's one of those days.

we went to the grocery store to get my mother's prescriptions and a few things. it turned into getting stuff for breakfast tomorrow, lunch today, and what we're going to make on New Year's Day. as i was walking around, i could feel myself getting depressed. all these beautiful women with rings on their fingers or worse yet, the beautiful ones that can't be even 15 years old yet. of course, my brain operates in poems now, so each face is quickly matched up with a few lines. if i manage to make it through life and not be diagnosed as insane, i'll be amazed.

there's plenty of sports on today i want to watch. Kentucky plays Louisville in college basketball here in a few minutes. i believe team USA plays in the 2015 World Juniors today. also in hockey, the Rangers play the Devils tonight. that's always fun (when the Rangers win). there's a few college football games today i want to check out. and tonight, i want to catch the Tag Team Wars episode of ROH. i imagine there will be eating and pooping breaks sometime in that time span. and i constantly need to check my emails or i end up with 100 out of nowhere. good times.

i will probably be on here tomorrow before Manchester United plays. it's also trash day and there is plenty of that to take down to the end of the lane. there's another fucking thing i won't miss.

i hope everyone is having a great weekend. if not, pour yourself something stronger to drink like i'm going to do. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

what to do with all these boxes

i decided to break out the vodka my sister got me for Christmas last night. lo and behold, i ended up writing 4 poems. the vodka is good. i'm hoping the poems are better. i typed them up this afternoon after the adventure my mother and i went on. more on that later. i'm not sure yet where i'll be sending these poems, but i'm hoping to get out another batch before 2015 rolls around.

i got up this morning in plenty of time to watch Manchester United. thankfully, the team is really starting to click. the won 3-1. 2 goals and an assist from Wayne Rooney. the other goal came from RVP. i finally am starting to believe that a top 4 finish this season is absolutely possible. here are some highlights from the game, in GIF form:

we needed to go out today to get ink for the printer and finally get a new shredder. along the way we got the paper, the mail, cat food and bird food. a big thank you to everyone that sent me Christmas cards. and a big thank you to John Sweet for the books. very much appreciated my friend. when we sat down for lunch this afternoon, i believe both my mother and i were spent. my mother had some gift cards for where we went, so lunch ended up being under $5. not bad when the original bill was over $35. it was a steakhouse by the way, that's why it was that expensive.

the sun was actually out today. so i finally got to use my new sunglasses. they worked really good, not that the sun is out enough around here to wear them all the time. but at least i know i have some good sunglasses once again.

i watched a ton of NBA basketball yesterday. that was good to get some naps in. i believe all the other sports start back up tomorrow. i know the New York Rangers play tomorrow night. i completely missed the start of the 2015 World Juniors today. i read about the Team USA win over Finland. i can't wait until the USA plays Canada. that is usually the New Year's Eve Hockey War.

today felt so much like a Saturday. hopefully a victory beer will get me back in the swing of things.

i have no clue what i'll be watching tonight on television. maybe some college football, maybe something on the Food Network. or, maybe i'll figure out where i'm sending some poems. your guess is as good as mine.

i'll be on here most likely in the afternoon tomorrow. i got a check in the mail today that i'd like to get to the bank tomorrow morning. so, i suppose sometime after that odyssey.

i hope everyone had a great Christmas. hopefully your Boxing Day was good as well. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

Merry Christmas to all

well, the snow that was in the air when i went to bed last night certainly didn't make it to the ground.

i have a full day of basketball and figuring out what we're going to put where in the new house ahead of me, so i figured i would do this now.

i do hope everyone is having a great Christmas this year. i certainly have no complaints on my end.

in really the only Christmas tradition i have, this is what i listen to each Christmas morning:

i now have cats to feed, a shower to take and some boxes to start packing.

the eve of something

my neck still hurts. i figure it is a combination of the pinched nerve and the fucking weather. i see the doctor in a few days, so we'll see.

it has been very dreary and gloomy here today. rain and then more rain. and now some wind and the temperatures are dropping. have i ever told you how my bad back loves a cold front?

the Dayton Flyers took Georgia Tech behind the woodshed last night and beat the shit out of them. a 75-61 win that every fan will remember as a wonderful Christmas gift. the former coach of Dayton is still stuck in his ways that never got Dayton past superior mediocrity. i can't imagine he'll be at Georgia Tech for long. here are some highlights from last night:

after the game, i sat down in my chair to exhale and happened to look to the right. holy shit. the guy about 5 feet from me looks an awful like the pro wrestler Chris Hero. i tell my mom this because i bought one of his t-shirts for myself for Christmas. she looks at him and says that can't be him, too small. i take another look and say that's definitely him. sadly, he was busy talking to a guy and i'm not the type of asshole that will interrupt someone for a autograph or picture request. so, after we ate dinner at Waffle House, i got on the internet back at the farm. i went to his twitter account (@thechrishero) and sure enough, the last two tweets posted were about the Dayton basketball game. i showed my mother and she finally started to believe me.

i watched a little of the New York Rangers replay before i went to bed last night. i'm extremely happy with this 7 game winning streak. they are really starting to look like a team that can do some damage this season. here are some highlights from the 4-2 win over Washington:

those two victory beers went down very quickly. i think i may crack open the vodka my sister got me for Christmas to celebrate my fantasy football championship.

i've been a busy boy today on iTunes. you'll see what i'm talking about below.

i hope everyone is having a great Christmas Eve. whether you are with family or a hooker, i do hope you enjoy your time. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your time.

victory... or at least something resembling it

the fog has rolled in here at the farm. rolled in to the point where i can't see the road from the house. that should make for some fun driving to the basketball game tonight.

i had an interesting night last night. i was flipping between wrestling and football, getting more agitated as time went on. thankfully, i had some good breaks long before my nails were chewed off of my hands. my deficit of 9 points got quickly erased in the second half when my WR for Denver caught 2 touchdowns. i ended up winning the title in the fantasy league by 10 points. i felt more relief than joy actually. if i would have lost i would have beaten myself up pretty bad. now, my opponent can do that to himself, as he had the points on his bench to win. this is my 6th fantasy football championship. the most astonishing thing is this is my second championship with Tony Romo. at least my stress level can go back to normal now.

as for wrestling, i enjoyed Monday Night Raw more than i did last week. of course, that's not saying much. i truly did enjoy the match between Dolph Ziggler and Luke Harper. that was excellent.
there was a couple of other good matches, though i wish they would have Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt wrestle in something other than a special bullshit no DQ match as they have done for the last 2 weeks. that's just lazy booking. oh well.

i totally forgot about The Men in Blazers last night. i'll have to try to catch the show late on Christmas Eve. i can't wait until i get the DVR and never have to worry about this shit again.

i'm looking forward to the basketball game tonight. the Dayton Flyers take on their former coach and Georgia Tech. i'm sure they will be looking to avenge their loss to Dayton last season. i'm really interested to see how the small team of Dayton competes against a much larger team. if Dayton can win this one, i'll feel some confidence about them in the A10 this season. the game is on nationally on the CBS Sports Network.

after that, i imagine we might end up going to Waffle House to eat. of course, the weather may dictate we simply come home. the rain and winds are supposed to start really hitting tonight i think. it's been in the 50's for most of today. certainly what i expect two days before Christmas.

i think i slept on my neck and shoulder wrong last night. they have been stiff all damn day. and of course, my body doesn't respond to heat. so this rain and fog has been doing wonders for it all day. i guess i'll have to let adrenaline do the job.

that's all for me today. i need to start getting ready to leave for the game. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

say hello to stress for me

i spent most of last night beating myself up over fantasy football decisions and rejected poems. it's such a lovely disease being a frustrated genius. but, god once again got his way as i have spent most of today being his court jester. nothing quite like getting the shits on the hour for 3 straight hours before it finally stops. as i jokingly said to myself as i was secretly wishing for my death... what better way to break in some new underwear.

thankfully, after a long shower, i do feel a little better. not sure if it was something i ate, or stress, or impending doom. whatever the fuck it was, hopefully it has passed.

the meeting with the nutritionist that mom wanted to drag me to today got cancelled this morning. as happy as i was about that, i definitely wanted to spend my afternoon doing something else than sitting on the toilet.

i'm trailing by 9 points in my fantasy football championship game. i do have a WR for Denver going tonight, that is IF he plays. i'll be glued to this fucking computer to see if he does or not. of course, if i would have played the defense i had on my bench that scored 24 more points than the one i started (thanks Arizona), i would have already won this damn thing. so, it's most likely going to be one of these nights where i will basically chew my nails down to blood. good times.

the New York Rangers won again yesterday, 1-0. that's six wins in a row. i got to see the first two periods of the game. from what it sounded like, i didn't miss much in the third. they play a huge game tomorrow night against Washington. here are the highlights from last night:

the finales on Showtime last night were interesting to me. Homeland had been so damn good this season and then the finale was fucking boring as hell. more of a mind fuck than it really needed to be. on the other hand, The Affair was really fucking good. plenty of sex and violence and crazy enough storytelling that i'm really looking forward to the next season.

i saw where there was a shooting at the closest mall to me over the weekend. a teenager thought he was going to get some new Air Jordans off of a guy that just bought them in the store. little did the teenager know, the guy he was trying to steal from had a gun on him as well. the kicker to the story is the guy who has a legal concealed weapon permit was carrying inside of the mall, which is illegal. so now the teenager is dead and the guy that shot him is probably going to get in trouble for having the gun at the mall, but probably not for shooting the teenager. it's good to see that people are still getting into crazy shit over sneakers like they did when i was a child. always important than some traditions never end.

and on that uplifting note, i bid you a fond farewell. i'll be on here sometime tomorrow afternoon. we have a basketball game tomorrow night. that should be interesting as the weather is supposed to get fucking crazy around that time as well.

thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

oh well

so my day started off with 3 poems getting rejected by The Camel Saloon. being the stubborn fuck i am, i'll probably do another submission somewhere before 2014 ends.

it was kind of funny, both my sister and i were up before mom got up today. i guess since we were doing Christmas today, it should have been expected. mom felt bad that she didn't get to do much shopping this year, being sick and working all the time. but, i do really appreciate the gift cards she got me. i've put the ones for iTunes already to use. i'm going to try to be a good boy and wait to use the Amazon.com cards until after my birthday (Jan. 21 for anyone interested in getting me something...HINT HINT). my sister got me some pretty cool shit, the best being the locally made vodka and the glass for it. given how a certain NFL team played today, that vodka might get used tonight. i think my sister really liked what i got her. i know my mother was sort of shocked with what i got her. all in all, not a bad Christmas this year. my sister had to go home to let her handyman in to fix her toilet. from the sound of it, she had an interesting drive home.

i didn't get to see any of the New York Rangers game last night. but, i did enjoy the victory beer. nothing quite like a perfect road trip. a 3-2 win in a shootout. the two teams play tonight at MSG. here are the highlights from yesterday:

the Dayton Flyers finally got some shots to fall for a change and won last night 78-62. hopefully the hot shooting continues as they play again on Tuesday night against Georgia Tech and the former coach of Dayton, Brian Gregory. here are some highlights from last night's win:

ROH was excellent last night. the main event was one of the craziest no DQ matches i have ever seen.

Saturday Night Live started off great last night.
but sadly, i didn't care for much of the rest of the show.

the New Orleans Saints had a chance to take a huge step closer to making the playoffs today. well, thanks to some shitty officiating, an offense that couldn't get out of its own way and a defense that absolutely fucking SUCKS, they lost 30-14. the lost eliminates them from a chance to be in the playoffs. hopefully they make a good draft choice being that high in the draft this year.

i'm losing in my fantasy football championship game. i want to believe that it can get to the single digits so my WR from the Broncos will have a chance to help me win tomorrow, but i doubt it. i won't give up hope yet, but i'm pretty damn close to it.

tonight, i'm really looking forward to the season finales of Homeland and The Affair. both of those should be outstanding. i'll probably watch some football and some hockey as well.

that's all for me today. i'll be on here sometime tomorrow. i know mom is dragging me to her meeting with the nutritionist tomorrow, so that should be interesting. i'm guessing i might be on here in the afternoon.

i do hope everyone is having a great weekend. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

all things must end

i was hoping to be in a much better mood when writing this, but thank an unwilling to be great Manchester United squad for my mood. United got a draw with Aston Villa this morning (1-1). you'd think i'd be happy with one point on the road. but, when United played the last 30 minutes of the match up a man (thanks to a rather harsh red card), it then becomes a game they must win. and they didn't. barely got a fucking chance in those 30 minutes. oh well. it was nice to see Falcao score again. hopefully he can get on a roll since the holidays always brings a ton of games right in a row it seems.

i was in one of those happy/sad moods last night while watching television. to know that this was the last Christmas show David Letterman was going to do, i wasn't as much sad as i was reflective. i think i have watched his show since it started quite honestly. i've been a tv addict since i was a child. i did enjoy Darlene Love one final time. here is that:

i stayed up and watched the final The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson as well. i was so happy that i did. the opening absolutely blew me away:
try to watch that and not get that song stuck in your head. needless to say, i bought it on iTunes this morning.

the ending to the show made me laugh. i'm really going to miss it.

plenty of sports going on today. i'll watch bits and pieces of the two NFL games going today. i do have a player going for the Eagles today. i believe my opponent in the fantasy football championship game has the Eagles QB. hopefully, if he throws any touchdowns today, they are to my WR.

the New York Rangers finish up their road trip in Carolina tonight. hopefully they can get another win.

i'll be going to see the Dayton Flyers take on Boston University. i'm going to be really interested to see how they play without the two players that got kicked off the team this week. i want to stay positive and believe they still have a chance to do well, but i'm not that kind of guy. although, i think if they pick up the speed of play and start making some fucking shots, anything is possible.

hopefully we'll get home in time to watch Saturday Night Live and ROH. i'm looking forward to both of those shows tonight. hopefully i'll be enjoying a few victory beers while watching them.

my mother, sister and i will be celebrating Christmas tomorrow. i was under the impression we were going to do it today, but, i forgot that we don't communicate well as a family. i'm not sure when i'll be on here tomorrow. it actually could be while the football games are going on. that might be my little break from the stress of trying to win another championship. this is what happens when you're a competitive asshole. winning is the only acceptable position in life. when i take a step out of myself i can only wonder what could have been.

i do hope everyone has a great weekend. if you are traveling, be safe. if you are having family over, may the drinks be strong and may there be no violence (unless someone really fucking deserves it). and if you hate the fucking holidays like i tend to do, may the music of your choice be loud enough to drown out the world.

thanks again to all 3 of you for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

a glimpse into my future

let's start off today with a little poetry update. i did do a little writing late last night. i typed up those 3 poems this morning and i really like them. i held one back for submission later, but the other 2 went out today. i sent out 6 poems today, 3 each to Dead Snakes and The Camel Saloon. when i hear back from those places, i will pass along the verdicts. i'm pretty sure those are my last submissions for 2014. hopefully i go out on a high.

well, my mom and sister now own our new house in Brookville. so, it looks like my 17+ years of farm life will be coming to an end soon. it will be a culture shock, that's for sure. we went over to the new house and set up some lights to come on and off at certain times. not that the crime rate is high where we're moving. while we were there, there was a knock at the door. both my mother and sister wanted me to get it, but i decided not to. they both figured it was my uncle, who lives next door. i had a feeling, mostly because i know god hates me, that it wasn't him. sure enough, it was the cousin that molested me. to say that this house is going to be the death of me is not that bold of a claim. i was happy to see that the door on my new bedroom has a lock on it. it will get used. of course, my feet hang off of the bed in there. the woman that lived there must have been shorter than short. it will certainly take some getting used to. i think we'll start moving stuff in after Christmas.

i just really flipped through the channels last night on television. i did try to watch some of The Colbert Report series finale last night. that was great. i know tonight is the final show of Craig Ferguson's run on The Late Late Show. i've really become a fan of the show over the last few years. that should be a weird and great finale as well. also, i will have to watch Letterman tonight to see the final Lone Ranger story and Darlene Love singing Christmas (Baby Please Come Home). i think tonight will be one of those nights i really feel old. i certainly felt old when this video came out the other day:

i suppose most of what else i watch tonight will depend on what my sister wants to watch. i have no sports teams going tonight, so i'll hand over the remote. at least for tonight.

the New York Yankees made a couple of trades today. they got a little younger but lost some versatility. but, that also means that some young guys are going to get a chance to make the team in spring training. i do like the sound of that.

that's all for me today. i will probably be on here tomorrow afternoon, most likely after the Manchester United game.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. get your last minute shopping done. and just in case you don't get to read this blog in the coming days, i do hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas or whatever you fucking celebrate this time of year.

holiday tensions

so the closing date for the house we're moving into is tomorrow and somehow, i have been caught between my mother, sister, realtor, and title company all bitching about each other. all while i'm trying to get my laundry done, look at some porn and listen to some podcasts. talk about a busy day.

this one will be a short one as i have to go with my mother for the final walk through at the new house.

i've got my last load of laundry in the washer. i needed some clean clothes to wear this weekend so i figure today was a good day to get it done. little did i know.

my friend Paul called me this morning. he's back in the hospital. poor fucker has no fucking good luck when it comes to his health. hopefully he gets better soon.

got some art this morning from Janne Karlsson that definitely made me laugh.

Lucha Underground was excellent last night. here are some highlights from the show:

American Horror Story was excellent last night as well. i about shit when i saw that Neil Patrick Harris is joining the show in the next episode. of course, the next episode isn't until 2015.

i doubt i will watch the NFL game tonight as i don't have any fantasy players in it. i'm trying to do the impossible again; win a fantasy title with Tony Romo as my QB. i'm only a slight favorite this week.

i saw that another New York Rangers player has come down with the mumps. this is to the point of truly being fucking ridiculous.

i really don't know what i'm going to be watching tonight. i may try to do a writing session. i've got one poem swimming in my head for sure.

i got done at 2:30 in the morning wrapping presents last night. i slept like a baby after all that.

i highly recommend that you listen to the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast if you get a chance this week. the interview Sam did with Mick Foley was great. you can find it on iTunes, Stitcher, notsam.com or on the right hand side of this blog.

that's all for me today. i hope everyone is doing good. or at the very least, faking it well.

when stupid meets the real world

so today did not go exactly as planned for me. mom decided that she wanted to go to the store, so my day of gift wrapping is going to be a long night of one. we're celebrating Christmas this weekend as my sister is on call for her job over the holidays.

winter has set in here again. i could definitely tell when i was doing the dishes or when i was out feeding the cats and birds; my back has been killing me all damn day. good times.

so, on the way to the store i heard a news tease that two players got kicked off of the Dayton Flyers basketball team today. i found out who they were and when i got back from the store, i found out what they did. Devon Scott and Jalen Robinson, both juniors, got caught stealing from dorm rooms at 4 in the fucking morning over the weekend. the coach kicked them both off the team permanently. so, that leaves the team with only 8 scholarship players and none over 6 feet 6. to say i'm a bit pissed is an understatement, especially considering Scott was one of the fucking captains. to go from an elite 8 run to this shit. and what kills me is two fucking dumb asses pissing away a chance to play at a school i would have given part of my soul to be able to play at. Saturday's game is going to be real fucking interesting now. fuck me runnin'.

the New York Rangers won last night in Calgary 5-2. Rick Nash continued his great play this season with 2 more goals. this marked the first time in franchise history that they won all 3 games on the Vancouver/Edmonton/Calgary trip. here are some highlights to the game:

my sister sent me a picture of the tickets to the NHL All-Star game next month. looks like we have some fucking great seats for this. i might actually have to take my camera for this one.

The Voice shocked the shit out of me last night. i thought for sure Matt was going to win. so, when Craig from Team Blake won, i literally said holy shit. team Adam had the other 3 finalists. Matt still had the number one song on iTunes after the show was over. but, when i saw that Blake has 4 million more twitter followers than Adam, it started to make sense. i believe Craig is on The Tonight Show tonight, so i'll probably watch that while i'm wrapping gifts.

also tonight i'll be watching Lucha Underground and American Horror Story. that should be an interesting night of television.

that's all for me today. i hope everyone had a great day. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

trying to survive a rainy day

i had a hard time falling asleep last night. it used to be that the sound of rain would put me to sleep. now, it's nothing but pain for me. so when i heard it raining at three in the morning, i knew i was going to be in for a long day. that's pretty much exactly what it has been.

i did make it to the bank to make a deposit. there wasn't much going on at the bank. i still go to the one in the town i grew up in. and honestly, that fucking town is more or less on its last legs. hopefully the last business out remembers to turn off the lights.

a big thank you to my buddy Sam Roberts for what he sent me today. i finally got the stickers i ordered back in May with a big surprise... an autographed Hulk Hogan picture. that's what i call a fucking cool early Christmas present.

i advanced to the finals in my fantasy football playoff game last night. i ended up winning by 10. of course, the winning points didn't come until the end of the game. needless to say, i was a bit pissy all night. but, the Saints did win the game (31-15) so that victory beer helped calm me down.

The Voice was really good last night. when i saw the original performance from Matt on team Adam, i knew after it was over that he was going to win it this year. the song and performance blew me away. if he doesn't win tonight, i will be totally fucking shocked.

Monday Night Raw was just as good as it was bad. i did like the ending though. Brock Lesnar beating the piss out of John Cena and then the handshake between Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins. hopefully that means some great things in the future. i heard the rumor that they are thinking about cutting the show back to 2 hours. that would be a very smart move as the writers obviously can't fill 3 hours at all.

i caught most of Men in Blazers. fucking hilarious as always. i did love their take on the Manchester United game.

tonight is yet another clusterfuck on television for me. Smackdown is live tonight, so i'll try to watch some of that. but, of course it will be on at the same time as The Voice finale and the New York Rangers game in Calgary. i tell ya, i'm going to get that damn Elvis wall of televisions sometime before i fucking die.

since mom wanted a few of the songs from The Voice last night, i had a little fun on iTunes today. i figure i hadn't bought anything from there for a few months, so it was ok. all the songs you'll see below came from there.

i think i'm going to start wrapping gifts tomorrow. i just use newspaper to do it. i try to avoid the obituaries... try.

if all that goes well for me, i may try to do a little writing and maybe get one last submission out there before the end of the year. i've got a few poems swimming in my head. at least the words are up there. i guess i need to turn them into something.

that's all for me today. it's supposed to start getting colder here again. almost like mother nature remembers it's supposed to be winter or something here. hopefully the heat in the great room keeps on working.

thanks again to all three of you for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

a busy boy and the inevitable wait at the post office

i woke up this morning amazingly refreshed. perhaps i should do more drinking right before i go to bed. what could possibly go wrong in that scenario? i got my ass in gear and decided to get all my Christmas cards done today. so, be checking your mail boxes in a few days to see if you're a lucky one or not. my apologies to my friends and fans not in the USA, my poor ass has nothing for you this year. i'm hoping to make up for that next year. and if you think you should have gotten something from me, chances are i don't have your address or you have suddenly found out what i really think of you.

i got to the post office and i must have been the 7th or 8th person in line. god bless the guy behind the counter, he was going as fast as he could go. and, given that most of the customers were elderly, i'm surprised he still has patience left. he must love me. i know exactly how i want the shit shipped and i have cash in hand. amazingly, the last package i was waiting on for Christmas arrived today. so, now all i have is some wrapping of presents to do. i burned my sister's CD this morning, so i can actually take a breath and relax for a few moments. i think i'll do the wrapping later in the week.

i'm trailing in my fantasy football playoff game by 3 points. thankfully, i have a WR going tonight for Chicago. but, i'd love to see New Orleans actually win the game. so, if i can just get 4 points from the guy, i'll be thrilled. if that happens, i advance to the finals.

the Sunday night shows were awesome last night. The Newsroom was a reintroduction to the characters and why we as the audience care about them. it was an excellent series finale. Homeland was fucking crazy once again. i can't wait for the season finale next week. The Affair was amazing last night. the acting was top notch. and the ending was fucking perfect. that season finale next week should be great.

i was able to watch the last 5 minutes of the New York Rangers game last night after the shows ended. apparently, i didn't miss much. the Rangers won 2-0 over Edmonton. that shutout by King Henrik helped me win my fantasy hockey week 8-2. below are some highlights from the game:

tonight is my usual clusterfuck of a Monday. the season finale of The Voice starts tonight. i'm a little interested in seeing what songs they perform to try to win the show. at the same time, Monday Night Raw will be on. they are coming off a ppv that most people didn't like, so tonight should be real interesting. also, i'll be keeping an eye on the Monday Night Football game. i'd love to enjoy a late night victory beer, but i'm not getting my hopes up. later tonight i'm planning on watching the Men in Blazers show as i figure they will have some fun with the Manchester United win from over the weekend.

after all that, hopefully i'll get some sleep. i'll probably be on here tomorrow after my trip to the bank. got the first bill from my Christmas shopping today, so this deposit will be a timely one.

that's all for me today. i've got to go make dinner. frozen pizza. lovely. i do hope everyone had a great weekend. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

sleep... say what?

i'm running on 4 hours sleep at the moment and a victory beer. good times my friends.

as always, let's start with the bad news. the Dayton Flyers got their asses handed to them yesterday at Arkansas 69-55. the game never got closer than 11 in the second half. they don't play again until Saturday against Boston University. that should be a game where they get to take some frustration out on a team. hopefully.

the game last night between Columbus and Pittsburgh was one of the 5 best hockey games i have ever been to in my life. i told my friend Paul after the game, he should consider himself lucky that that game was his first NHL game. it had a bit of everything; fights, power play goal, short handed goal, penalty shot goal, overtime, shootout, and the building was probably 75% Penguins fans. Columbus won in a shootout 4-3.

we went out to eat afterwards and my sister picked up the check. thank you very much. it was a late drive home. we didn't get back home until after 1 AM. it was after Saturday Night Live and ROH. but, i did catch a bit of the New York Rangers highlights.

the Rangers won 5-1 last night in Vancouver. if this team can keep scoring goals like that, they could have another special season. here are some highlights:

as for Saturday Night Live, thanks to YouTube i saw most of what i missed. this one did make me laugh today:

after checking my email, i didn't get to bed until 4 AM. i was up this morning by 8 AM. all because of my hatred for a certain team. thankfully, Manchester United made sure today was going to be a good one for me.

Manchester United defeated Liverpool 3-0. goals from Rooney, Mata and RVP. but the man that made the 3-0 win possible was this man:
he is quickly becoming the best goalkeeper in the WORLD. he was simply magnificent today. i will be enjoying this victory beer for the rest of the day.

all my injury concerns for my fantasy football playoff game turned out to be ok. hopefully i can advance to the finals.

i got all the trash picked up and taken down to the lane. i fed the cats, who didn't like that i waited until after i watched the episode of ROH i missed last night. sorry fuckers, it was worth it. the tag match of The Young Bucks vs. ACH and Matt Sydal was fucking awesome.

i'm going to now read the Sunday paper and start watching some football games.

tonight, the New York Rangers play in Edmonton. i'm hoping to squeeze the game around my usual Sunday night viewing. i am really looking forward to the series finale of The Newsroom tonight. also tonight, i'll be watching Homeland and The Affair.

and then, hopefully getting some sleep.

hope everyone is having a great weekend. if not, drink something stronger.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

why does the phone always ring when i'm just getting ready to pull your panties down...

so, there i was, putting the fucking moves on my waitress from the steakhouse yesterday... things are getting hot and heavy and then... the phone fucking rings. i wake up. it's always just a fucking dream anymore. this world is slowly trying to snuff out my imagination. i can't let them win this one.

i was up pretty damn late last night. i was listening to a wrestling podcast while watching some porn. talk about having your cake and eating it too. i did get the dishes done and took a long shower as well last night. all after i went down in the cellar and changed out the water filters. the smell was getting to me. mom basically can't smell anything anymore it seems. i did tell her when i came up from the cellar that i'm certainly not going to miss doing that at the new house.

i guess the closing date for the new house is Dec. 19th. everything seems to be lining up for this to happen. now, it's all about getting some shit done around here on the farm and then hoping we can sell this without ever having to list it on the market. i do think we're going to have to rent a storage space for a few months, just to be able to put shit in before we have a big ass garage sale.

today is a busy sports day for me. the Dayton Flyers play at Arkansas. this is a huge chance for the Flyers to get a nice win on the road that will definitely help them come NCAA tournament selection time. it will not be easy, especially given the way Dayton has been shooting the ball here recently.

right after that is over, i'm driving up to Columbus with my friend Paul to see the Blue Jackets take on the Penguins. Paul is a huge Penguins fan and he has never been to see them. actually, i don't think he's ever been to a NHL game. so, this is basically my Christmas gift to him. i told him all he needs to cover is the parking and whatever he's eating and drinking.

i think we're driving back after we get something to eat, so i highly doubt i will be in home in time to see Saturday Night Live. hopefully i am home in time to see ROH. there is a tag team match i really want to see tonight.

i think i will be back on here tomorrow after the Manchester United game. they play Liverpool tomorrow, so i'll either be really fucking happy or really fucking mad when you next hear from me.

i do hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. may no phone calls interrupt your visions of ecstasy. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

finding out the hard way that spicy means way too fucking hot for me...

i had a nice talk with the muse last night. i'm really happy that she's doing well out on the west coast. hopefully she'll realize one day that she should be with me, but i won't hold that against her.

i got up this morning and was feeling pretty good. of course, i should have realized that was nothing more than fool's gold. shortly after i started eating breakfast, i got the shits. i tell ya, my body was wonderful timing. not like i didn't have basically a full day in public planned today or anything. thankfully, a couple of pills later and i felt much better.

i drove mom down to the place where we donate clothes. thankfully, a parking spot opened up right as i pulled up. we got rid of a ton of clothes today. hopefully they go to some needy people. after that, we drove a few miles to the used music store where i go to sell off my CDs. i must have picked the right ones as i made $50 today. much better than the last few times in there. that just about covers what i spent on Christmas. thank god for the $100 in gift cards that i used as well.

after that we drove to a steakhouse to get some lunch. mom had a gift card to use. of course, that machine wasn't working. i decided to try the spicy chicken as my appetizer. after a few bites, i thought this isn't that bad. after a few more, i believe my asshole started to pucker. being the stubborn male, i finished all of it. my lips were on fucking fire. thankfully, the steak burger cooled that down greatly. overall though, the food was great. of course, when i wake up in the morning with the shits again, i'll probably be singing a different tune.

then, it was time for the grocery store. i truly felt like the dirty old man tonight at the store. all these teenage girls in with their mothers and all i could think about was what i wouldn't give to be 15 again and know what i know now. i imagine i'll have a few creepy poems to write here soon.

tv was pretty good last night. i did laugh at The Big Bang Theory. the writing and timing of that show is top notch. i picked the football game wrong last night but my defense got me 16 points. that gets my fantasy football playoff game off to a great start.

i have no damn clue what i'm going to watch tonight. i imagine if i get bored flipping through the channels, i'll end up doing the dishes and taking my shower tonight. i think the electrician is supposed to be here in the morning, so it's probably best i take it tonight.

i have a long crazy Saturday in front of me. Dayton plays on the road, i'm taking my friend Paul to his first NHL game, and the Rangers are playing late night up in Canada. more on that craziness tomorrow morning.

i hope everyone has a great weekend in store. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

such a long day...

it feels like i have been on the computer all damn day long. i just happened to look at the time and got that 'oh fuck' feeling that i need to get going.

i spent most of today going through the piles and piles of CDs i have and deciding what i was going to burn and/or sell. that took a few hours. given that, you can imagine just how many CDs i have. i picked out over 30 to try to sell tomorrow. hopefully i make a little money. i would love if i made enough to cover what i have already spent for Christmas.

of course, i'll be repeating this process in a month or so when we start the move. i have so much shit, i'm not sure what i'm going to be doing with it. fuck, i've been living here since 1997. you can imagine what has piled up around here.

tv last night was pretty damn good. Lucha Underground was fucking awesome last night. the ladder match was the best match they have had to date. i loved it. below are some of the highlights:

American Horror Story was excellent as well. i certainly love how sick the show is getting.

and then, Jimmy Fallon once again found a way to make me laugh my ass off:

mom found out the price it's going to cost to have the county deal with the cats...$60 a cat. fuck me. i guess if anyone wants any cats, please contact me. i suppose i have to hope the new owner of the farm, whoever the fuck that ends up being, loves cats. now the moral dilemma, do i stop feeding them? i can't imagine me doing that. fuck fuck fuck.

the fantasy football playoffs start tonight. i have Arizona's defense going tonight. hopefully they get me off to a good start. i'm a comfortable favorite as of right now, but i know that doesn't mean shit. it also doesn't mean shit that i have beaten the other 3 teams in the playoffs in the regular season. i'll be in and out of the game for most of the night.

i think The Big Bang Theory is new tonight, so i'll definitely be watching that.

i'm not real sure when i'll be on here tomorrow. mom has some clothes she wants to donate tomorrow and since that place is not far from the place i go to sell music, we're carpooling tomorrow. i figure we will probably end up doing lunch and the grocery shopping while we're out as well. so, maybe i'll be on here after all that. don't get your hopes up that i'll be a good boy and post early in the morning. i feel like i really need to get some fucking sleep.

as my mother has said for the last 20 years... getting old is not for sissies.

thanks again to all 3 of you for letting me waste a few minutes of your time.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

falling asleep at the computer

the basketball game last night completely drained me. drained me to the point that i was falling asleep at the computer last night as i was checking emails.

Dayton played like absolute shit in the first half. the coach had been telling everyone for 3 days how Bowling Green would come out in this game and just like most teenagers or young adults, the players didn't listen. Dayton was down by 8 at half time. now, this is the part where i truly know i am a genius. as the second half started i told my mother what Dayton should do. just cut the lead down in each 4 minute segment and by the end, they will be right there. when Dayton tied the score at 39, i was feeling pretty good. when Bowling Green rattled off 11 straight points to go up 50-39 with something like 11 minutes left, i was thinking fuck me runnin'. thankfully, Dayton finally showed up with the Dayton team i know they can be. Dayton finished the game on a 17-2 run to win 56-52. hats off to Devon Scott for completely outplaying a NBA prospect last night. Dayton next plays at Arkansas. as much as i would like to think they can win, they better play about 1000000000000% better than have been playing. here are some highlights from last night:

we got home from the game in time to watch the Dan Patrick interview on the Golf Channel. that was pretty good.

i was up late enough to see this last night. i absolutely laughed my ass off. the genius of Ricky Gervais:

i got to see what i missed on The Voice last night. my two locks did make it through to the finals. i have no clue what America sees in Chris Jamison. his voice sounds like dog shit to me. Damien won the overnight vote between all the performers previously voted off to be the fourth finalist. so, all 3 members of Team Adam make it to the finals along with Craig from Team Blake. i'll laugh my ass off if Craig wins it.

i think i have to drive mom to a doctor's appointment here in a few hours, so i thought i better get this out of the way.

tonight should be an interesting night of television for me. i'm looking forward to Lucha Underground tonight. and then, i'm really looking forward to American Horror Story.

currently, i'm getting my Christmas card list together and figuring out who is going to get some goodies. i also have cats to feed and it looks like the birds need some food as well.

if you'd like to get me something for the holidays, feel free to get me ANYTHING from my Amazon.com wish list. you'll find a link to it on the right hand side of this blog.

that's all for me today. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

and then the days all start to bleed together...

it started to lightly rain sometime last night. i suppose that would explain why i had a hard time sleeping last night. there's a chance for snow today, though it's not supposed to accumulate. i figure it will start when i'm driving and stop as soon as i turn the car off.

the New York Rangers fell behind early last night but had a great second period. they scored again in the 3rd to go up 3-1. at this point, i was really happy with how they were playing. of course, that wouldn't last. the fucking Penguins scored 2 goals in 24 seconds to tie the game, which eventually went into OT. thankfully, Kevin Klein once again came through in the clutch. after needing 13 or so stitches to reattach part of his ear, he scored the winning goal in OT. that's what i love about hockey players... tough sons of bitches. here are the highlights from the game:

i thought all of the performances on The Voice last night were good. i have no clue who gets voted off tonight. the only locks to advance in my head are Matt (team Adam) and Craig (team Blake). i won't get to see the show tonight as i will be at a basketball game.

i thought Monday Night Raw was pretty good. the show just sort of dragged for me. of course, anytime you end a show with John Cena going through a table, i'll be happy. i didn't agree with all the winners of the Slammy Awards last night, but in terms of wrestling fans, i'm a senior citizen.

i really enjoyed my two victory beers last night. i had the Winter Lager from Sam Adams. first time i have tried this one. i must say, Sam Adams has yet to make a beer that i don't like.

i wasn't surprised the Yankees let their closer leave via free agency. with the reliever they already signed, they basically saved $10 million. now, if they use that money wisely, i'll be fine with this decision. do nothing with it, and i'll be fucking furious. they do get a draft pick for him leaving, but they hardly ever draft anyone that makes an immediate impact.

i'm cutting this one a little short as i have cats to feed and shit around the house to get done. plus, i would imagine the people that sit around me at the basketball games would prefer i take a shower.

the Dayton Flyers play tonight against Bowling Green. this might actually be their toughest game of the season so far. it should be a pretty physical game. i'm hoping i will be enjoying a victory beer when i get home tonight.

thanks again to all 3 of you for allowing me to waste your precious time.
