i went to the bank this morning to make a deposit. no big deal, there was a little rain but thankfully it wasn't freezing rain. as i was coming out of the bank, i noticed this contractor talking to the police in the parking lot. as i got in the Highlander, the cop was leaving and this old guy comes racing out of the bank. he starts yelling at the contractor, you fucking asshole, you stole money out of my account, i should punch you in the fucking face. i was like, i guess i can wait around for a bit. the old guy was probably in his 70's, the contractor was maybe late 30's. the old guy got into the contractor's van. the contractor got out and got on his phone. i started the Highlander and left, obviously there wasn't going to be the violence i could have another book of poems about. oh well.
i did write 1 poem last night. i have 5 in the unpublished file. i'd love to get another 5 so i can send to a couple different places.
Smackdown was excellent last night.
Real Time with Bill Maher was great last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be AEW Collision, Saturday Night Live and Austin City Limits.
the Dayton Flyers play today at home against Loyola Chicago. hopefully, Dayton will end their losing streak today.
the USMNT takes on Venezuela today in a friendly.
the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Columbus.
a big thank you to John Sweet. he sent me several of his books. i'm thinking of it as an early birthday gift.
the NFL playoffs start back up today. Houston at Kansas City and Washington at Detroit.
i will hopefully be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays in the morning.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday.
until tomorrow kids...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
i'm going to try highlight one poet a day for every day this month. this will make no rhyme or reason, just basically who the fuck i like or who i can find links and videos for. and no, i won't highlight myself, even though i probably should.
as for today, the poet of the day will be John Sweet. as many of you know, John is my favorite living poet on this planet and has been for quite some time. if you have never read his work, do yourself a favor and buy a damn book and enjoy...
so, i had to take mom to a doctor's appointment this afternoon. her blood pressure is still high, so they are putting her on two new medications. oh joy. i will have to get those tomorrow, whenever they are ready. i'll be going to the bank tomorrow as well.
AEW was fucking great last night. i enjoyed the whole damn show.
NXT was really good last night.
The Masked Singer was crazy once again last night.
Snowfall was excellent last night.
speaking of snowfall, we had some fucking snow today. crazy as hell, it was 70 the other fucking day and today it was in the 20's.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Young Sheldon, The United States of Al, B Positive, Clarice and Cake. i'll watch NXT UK sometime tonight on Peacock.
the New York Rangers play tonight at Buffalo. they ended their losing streak last night, so i'm hoping the Rangers start another one for them tonight.
i did watch most of the New York Yankees game this afternoon against Toronto. the Yankees had plenty of chances to win the game late, but could never get the clutch hit. Toronto won, 3-2 in 10 innings. not exactly how i wanted the season to start, but it is way more fucking important how you finish the season anyway.
i should be on here tomorrow after i get back from the bank and getting mom's new medications. it's going to feel like winter again here tomorrow, so i'm sure i'm going to be achy all damn day. joy.
that's all for me kids.
thanks to everyone for checking out my latest published poems:
i took my mother to her ear doctor today. i was going to put the guy that fucked up her ear, but i decided not to. basically, she had another hearing test, which did show some hearing loss in one of her ears. also, he told her the only thing he could do was give her the same shit that fucked her up last time and mom wants no part of that. but, i think she had to go see him to satisfy the fuckers trying to deny her disability claim. hopefully this will be the last visit to a waiting room for 2017.
Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. Hideo Itami showed up. The Revival is back. and there will be a women's Royal Rumble at the ppv in January. that should be very interesting.
The Voice was really good last night. i still think Chloe will be the winner, although i wouldn't be shocked if Addison wins tonight either.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice, Smackdown and Drop the Mic. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.
the Dayton Flyers play tonight out in California at Saint Mary's. Dayton is a pretty big underdog tonight, so i'm not expecting much from them. and if it gets really bad, i'll simply just go to sleep.
the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Anaheim. they are supposed to get Mika Zibanejad back from a concussion tonight. hopefully he gives the power play a much needed jolt of energy.
i did get all my Christmas gifts wrapped last night.
a big thank you to John Sweet for the poetry books he sent me in the mail. that was a nice surprise today.
that's all for me today kids. i'll probably be on here tomorrow sometime after Manchester United plays.

to say i was deeply disappointed after watching the New York Rangers lose last night would be an understatement. everything was set up for them to make a run this season. and once again, shitty coaching does them in. i only want the team to do 3 things... 1) a new coach 2) find centers that can win faceoffs 3) realize there are no more years of The King's career to piss away. and if the Rangers are going to get a new coach, i suggest they move quickly and do it before the draft or the same shit will happen again next season.
the New York Yankees got an early lead yesterday and then CC puked all over himself in the second inning, giving up 5 runs and that was pretty much the end to the winning streak. the Yankees lost 5-3. they are off tonight and start a 4 game series at home against Houston tomorrow.
The Voice pretty much went as i hoped last night. the two people that left were the two that i liked the least on the show. that is usually what happens with team Adam it seems. the semifinals next week should be amazing.
Deadliest Catch was pretty good last night. it's obvious that sobriety and Captain Keith don't get along just yet.
Smackdown was good last night, even though it could have been better.
205 Live was really good last night.
my good friend John Sweet posted a photo this morning with the caption You Will Live to See Democracy Die... after what Trump did last night, i imagine so.
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and the season finale of Total Divas. i'll watch NXT this evening on WWE Network.
i might watch the two Game 7's tonight in the NHL playoffs. or i might not.
i did shave and get a haircut today. i got lucky on the haircut. they were having a sale and i got the cute one i like at the place i go to to cut it. she got a very nice tip, just not the tip i would like to give to her. i don't think her husband would approve.
i also took mom to the drugstore today. that might be one of the last times she goes somewhere other than a doctor's office before she has her hip replaced.
all the music today is FREE music i got on NoiseTrade. i'll post the links below in the music section.
Trump firing the FBI director did not surprise me. he's only acting like most billionaires do. the only purpose of having fuck you money is to do whatever the fuck you want whenever you want to. now, sure Comey was probably getting closer to proving the link between the Russians and Trump, but you surely wouldn't think it's a cover up. that is until the meeting today with the Russians (that the American media was not allowed to see but the Russian media was) and then a nice photo op with Henry Kissinger. nothing screams fuck you than right after being compared to Nixon you show up with his right hand man. coup completed. i hope all you dumb fucks that voted for this enjoy it.
i believe it's going to rain soon. that's what my bones are telling me.
i'll be on here tomorrow probably after i send out some poems and most likely after Manchester United plays their most important game of the season.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
i couldn't find a comfortable spot in my bed last night for anything. i tried drinking, writing, porn, talking myself to sleep, music, etc... none of it fucking worked. i guess sometime around 4 in the morning my body just turned itself off. 5 hours later i was up, sore, pissed off, in other words, a normal Tuesday morning.
i did write a poem last night. i haven't typed it up yet, so i'm not going to pass judgment on it. it's one of my vague/love poems that i tend to crank out from time to time.
the college basketball game last night between Oklahoma and Kansas was an instant classic. i was in and out of it all night long. i urge all of you to check out the highlights.
Monday Night Raw had some good moments last night. it also had some stupid fucking moments as well. it did do one thing, completely change the Royal Rumble coming up. to see the heavyweight title being defended in the rumble match could be very entertaining. of course, i'm sure they will fuck it up somehow.
after the show i read the news of the WWE signing 4 guys from NJPW. i didn't think much of the report until i read this morning of what happened on the show after NJPW had their Wrestle Kingdom 10. now i am getting ready to go totally nuts the day i see AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura in a WWE ring. as i told one person last night, it surely would be a sign of the apocalypse. the other two guys in the report were Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. if they are planning on starting a new Bullet Club in WWE, i'm all for it. and they are bringing the two best to do it with. add in Finn Balor and a few other bad asses and good talkers and you have yourself programming for months and months.
yeah, i'm almost 40 and still love pro wrestling. get over it.
i did watch team USA defeat Sweden today 8-3 to win the Bronze medal in the World Juniors. to be honest, it's better than coming home empty handed. the boys blew a 2 goal lead but came back strong to score the next 6 goals to put the game to bed. i have the Gold medal game on in the background. Finland and Russia are currently tied at 2 in the third period. i'd love to see some overtime.
(Finland just scored a power play goal with 2 minutes left in the game to go up 3-2)
(Russia just scored with 7 seconds left to tie the game at 3) and people wonder why i love hockey.
the New York Rangers play the Dallas Stars tonight at home. i really have no clue to how the Rangers are going to play. i figure the last game was shit, so maybe they will be good tonight. maybe.
i also need to do a little laundry and get the trash picked up. yet another exciting Tuesday.
i did find out my credit score today. my mother is a little pissed it is better than her score. ha ha.
hopefully this finds you doing some exciting or at the very least, mentally masturbating.

so, i sort of decided to do some random bullshit each day for National Poetry Month. some news stories, some poet spotlights, some YouTube videos, etc. etc. basically, whatever my lazy ass feels like doing that day. so, let's kick off the month with my favorite living poet, John Sweet.
the New York Rangers got a much needed 3-2 win last night up in Winnipeg. the game had a little poetic justice with the winning goal. watch the highlights and you'll understand what i'm talking about.
i was up late last night getting my laundry done. but, i did manage to get some sleep, figuring the people coming to get the furniture were going to be here early. of course, that didn't happen. not sure why someone would piss away the chance to get over $1,000 worth of furniture for fucking free. oh well. not sure what's going to happen to it now, i just know it needs to get out of the fucking garage. soon.
i got a good nap in this afternoon and was using the vacuum when my mother got back home. i figured that was excellent timing; letting her believe i actually give a shit about keeping the new house clean. i thought i was driving her to work today but she decided she wanted to go it alone.
had a little test of my sanity today. nothing quite like opening up the blinds in the kitchen to see the woman that molested me as a child sweeping the sidewalk next door. i sort of just mumbled to myself 'i wonder how long until i murder everyone?'. good times.
i did get some poems ready to send to that broadside project. i'm guessing that will happen before the end of the week.
tonight on the DVR i will have Lucha Underground. mostly because since i have the WWE Network now, i get to finally see NXT. so, basically my night will be one filled with pro wrestling. seems like a fitting way to close up April Fool's Day.
that's all for me. i need to go over to the farm and get some more stuff out of there, feed the cats, and get the mail at the PO Box, etc. etc.
hope the new month finds everyone ready for some warmer weather.

i decided to break out the vodka my sister got me for Christmas last night. lo and behold, i ended up writing 4 poems. the vodka is good. i'm hoping the poems are better. i typed them up this afternoon after the adventure my mother and i went on. more on that later. i'm not sure yet where i'll be sending these poems, but i'm hoping to get out another batch before 2015 rolls around.
i got up this morning in plenty of time to watch Manchester United. thankfully, the team is really starting to click. the won 3-1. 2 goals and an assist from Wayne Rooney. the other goal came from RVP. i finally am starting to believe that a top 4 finish this season is absolutely possible. here are some highlights from the game, in GIF form:
we needed to go out today to get ink for the printer and finally get a new shredder. along the way we got the paper, the mail, cat food and bird food. a big thank you to everyone that sent me Christmas cards. and a big thank you to John Sweet for the books. very much appreciated my friend. when we sat down for lunch this afternoon, i believe both my mother and i were spent. my mother had some gift cards for where we went, so lunch ended up being under $5. not bad when the original bill was over $35. it was a steakhouse by the way, that's why it was that expensive.
the sun was actually out today. so i finally got to use my new sunglasses. they worked really good, not that the sun is out enough around here to wear them all the time. but at least i know i have some good sunglasses once again.
i watched a ton of NBA basketball yesterday. that was good to get some naps in. i believe all the other sports start back up tomorrow. i know the New York Rangers play tomorrow night. i completely missed the start of the 2015 World Juniors today. i read about the Team USA win over Finland. i can't wait until the USA plays Canada. that is usually the New Year's Eve Hockey War.
today felt so much like a Saturday. hopefully a victory beer will get me back in the swing of things.
i have no clue what i'll be watching tonight on television. maybe some college football, maybe something on the Food Network. or, maybe i'll figure out where i'm sending some poems. your guess is as good as mine.
i'll be on here most likely in the afternoon tomorrow. i got a check in the mail today that i'd like to get to the bank tomorrow morning. so, i suppose sometime after that odyssey.
i hope everyone had a great Christmas. hopefully your Boxing Day was good as well. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

so, i was sitting there eating a bowl of cereal for lunch and the breaking news music started playing on the NHL Network. i look up and see that Marian Gaborik has been traded from the New York Rangers to Columbus. i believe holy shit was the first thing that came to my mind. then i saw what the Rangers got in return, and then i was really like holy shit. i love the trade from the side of the financial freedom it gives the team this summer and the quick addition of depth to the team immediately. when you add in they got Ryane Clowe yesterday as well for draft picks, i believe all these moves will make the Rangers a tougher team to play against IF they make the playoffs. but, seeing that Gaborik is the second player from my fantasy team to get traded, i quickly had to go check the Columbus schedule and adjust my fantasy lineups. if he's playing on the first line and getting over 20 minutes a night, it should work out fine.
all that being said, i will be interested to see how the Rangers play tonight against Pittsburgh. this is yet another MUST WIN game, especially seeing they are not in a playoff position right now.
as an afterthought, the Yankees play the Red Sox tonight. i imagine the Rangers will play like shit enough at times that i will flip over to the baseball game. or, i'll flip to the new show Rogue that is debuting tonight on DIRECTV. good to have options i suppose.
my poet of the day on my Google+ page is John Sweet. John is by far my favorite living poet and i urge all of you to do yourself a favor and find his work. and more importantly, if you can afford it, buy his books. you can find a good number of them here: http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/bleedinghorse99
staying on the poetry front, i did write a new poem this morning. seeing the subject matter was about me being molested as a child, i was kind of surprised when i didn't mind fuck myself all day long after writing about it, again. perhaps i'm getting better at this shit finally. i'm planning on submitting that poem, maybe later this week or next. i'll keep you updated on where it goes.
in other news, i need to do my laundry soon, the raccoon struck again last night and the sun has been out all day long. but temps in the 30's is not exactly what i call spring. it's supposed to warm up this weekend, but i'm not holding my damn breath.
be well. peace and chicken grease.

had a horrible time sleeping last night. the temp was rising as the night was going on and i could feel the rain coming. and when i woke up and felt nearly paralyzed, i knew we had a pretty good rain. add that to the melt of snow and i was a little amazed we weren't flooded completely in the lane or front field. pretty damn close though. thankfully, the sun made an appearance today and the water went down some. which is good since we've got 2 more 100% chances of rain coming. supposedly around 3 inches by the time it's all done and back into the 30's. fucking winter in Ohio. how i've dodged the flu is a fucking miracle.
started reading the John Sweet book i got for Christmas, "in the kingdom of oblivion". if you have never read John before, do yourself a favor and find him on the internet or go to his lulu page and buy something. you will not be disappointed. http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/bleedinghorse99
and speaking of my favorite poets, a special thank you to Debbie Kirk for dropping by the blog today. if you haven't read her before, find her work online and quickly make up for living under a rock. easily, one of the best female poets i have ever read in my life. http://laurahird.com/showcase/debbiekirk.html is a good place to start.
a busy sports weekend coming up for me. Saturday starts off with the Dayton Flyers hosting Butler. the game will be on the NBC Sports Network. should be an electric atmosphere as Butler will be the highest ranked team to come here in a few years. i'm hoping for a win but a loss wouldn't be shocking to me. sad, but not shocking. (usually when i'm pretty negative going in things work out for the good, here's hoping...). after that, back home to watch some NFL playoffs. Sunday starts with Manchester United hopefully beating the shit out of Liverpool. then, day 2 of the NFL playoffs. hopefully i'll have no flood waters to deal with and i'll just sit back and enjoy.
Sunday night will be a tv nightmare. Golden Globes as well as my Sunday night shows coming back on Showtime and HBO. i feel a long night coming.
i do hope everyone has a good weekend. peace and chicken grease.

i finally got my hands on a copy of Open Wide Magazine #25 (ISSN 1746-4390). it was published last year i believe. i have three poems in the issue, "across four lanes of traffic", "after sex talk", and "trying to sneak a peek". also in the issue include work from Debbie Kirk, John Sweet, William Taylor Jr., Nathan Graziano, R.C. Edrington, Luis Cuauhtemoc Berriozabal, Dan Provost, justin.barrett and Glenn W. Cooper just to name a few. you can purchase a copy of the issue here. for back issues of Open Wide, go here http://www.openwidemagazine.co.uk/owmissues.htm.
i watched the Champions League draw today and got a chuckle. i can just hear all the conspiracy theories running around, just like last year, that Manchester United got an easy draw, blah blah blah. same shit was said last year and they couldn't make it out of the group stage. well, Sir Alex has vowed to play all the best guys for all the games this time around. so, if they have learned their lesson well, they should win the group stage pretty damn easy. and they will need to if they want to avoid Barcelona in the next round. i got a bigger chuckle when i saw that Manchester City was placed in the group of death. serves the little blue fuckers right. hopefully they have their asses handed to them repeatedly in the group stage. seeing they are playing 3 other champions, there's a good chance of it happening.
the shock of the day was seeing Iniesta beat out Messi and CR7 to win the best player in Europe. fucking please. there's no doubt he's a great player, but better than the 2 best players in the world. no fucking chance in hell. i can only figure the tipping point was he played for a Spain team that won their 3rd straight major championship. it must have been since Barcelona last year didn't win La Liga or the Champions League. so he wins the award because he happens to play with 10 other great players born in the same country. what a fucking joke.
lastly, tomorrow morning i will wake up to the results of the first fantasy draft of the new NFL season. my fingers will be crossed, hoping for the best. and hoping for a season where my first pick doesn't get injured in the first week, like last year. damn you shitty turf and weak knees.
until we meet again my friends...
