happy halloween

it's been rainy and windy as fuck so far today. i remember when i was a child and Halloween would be like this, it fucked it up for everyone. i can remember too many times going out to trick or treat in my fucking winter coat. joy.

NXT was excellent last night.

AEW was pretty good last night.

American Horror Story was fucking crazy last night.

Cake was good last night.

The Bronx, USA was pretty good last night. it always amazes me at just how cheap shit was in the past.

congrats to the Nationals on winning the World Series.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Mr Inbetween, Will & Grace, Perfect Harmony and Desus & Mero. i'll watch NXT UK and WWE Crown Jewel sometime later today on WWE Network.

i might watch some of the NFL game tonight as well.

i'm running on about 4 hours of sleep at the moment. i still need to do some stretching and take a shower before i go to physical therapy this afternoon.

i hope everyone has a great Halloween. be safe and go scare the shit out of some people.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after a trip to the grocery store.

until then kids...

a rainy day and a bad back, not a good combination...

as i was in agony in the massage chair this morning, i told my mother these are the days why so many people become fucking addicts. i then started tapping my arm and asked for a lighter and a spoon. she laughed, mostly because with her fucked up back, she knows the misery. it's also why she probably won't leave me any money when she dies either.

i was in so much pain this afternoon that my body just shut down and went to sleep. of course, it doesn't help that i didn't get to bed until 4:30 this morning and woke up to a phone ringing a little before 9. joy.

the New York Rangers must have got the message from their coach last night about how will ALWAYS beats skill. they actually played a full 60 minutes last night, defeating the Lightning 4-1. now they have the blueprint on what they need to do each game for the rest of the season.

Manchester United defeated Chelsea today 2-1 in the League Cup. holy shit, that's 3 away wins in a row. i must be dreaming.

The Voice was pretty good last night.

Total Divas was good last night.

Mayans M.C. was excellent last night. the season finale next week should be amazing.

Mr. Mercedes was great last night.

The Jim Jefferies Show was fucking hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NXT, AEW, American Horror Story, Cake and The Bronx, USA.

i'm going to try to be on here in the morning tomorrow, mostly because my physical therapy appointment is later in the afternoon and there is a shitload of wrestling on tomorrow that i want to watch. so, the morning is basically the only time i could do the blog.

Game 7 of the World Series is tonight. the road team has won every game. hopefully, that continues tonight.

it's still fucking raining, so i'm off to my massage chair for yet another session with ice packs. joy.

until tomorrow kids...

at least my range of motion is better...

the physical therapist said today that i was really tight, especially in my traps. he asked if i get any headaches, which i don't. he asked in a way that he thought since i was so tight i would have them all the time. good times. my range of motion is better since last week, so that's good. after my session, i went to the Meijer store down the street to pick up a few things. $60 later, i was on my way home. of course, nearly got into an accident because some fucking teenagers don't know how a 4 way stop works. i came so close to just following them and scaring them to death. but i didn't. and people wonder why i don't want to own a gun.

the series finale of The Deuce was excellent last night. the final scene had me in tears.

Monday Night Raw had a few good moments last night. as for the rest of it, i should have just gone to sleep.

The Voice was pretty good last night. the battle rounds are finally over and now it's on to the knockouts.

Desus & Mero was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice, Total Divas, Mr. Mercedes, Mayans M.C. and The Jim Jefferies Show.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Tampa Bay. i'm not sure how much of the game i'm going to watch.

it's been a dreary fucking day today, so my arthritis has been driving me fucking crazy. joy.

and of course, it's supposed to start raining soon and i need to pick up the fucking trash.

so, that's all for me kids. i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

don't get stuck behind meth heads in a drive-thru if you are in a hurry...

as you might imagine as the title suggests, there was a portion of my afternoon. i had to pick up my pills from the grocery store and on the way back, mom wanted lunch from McDonald's. sure enough, i got stuck behind a couple of meth addicts buying ice cream with pennies. #thelifeofapoet

Manchester United defeated Norwich yesterday, 3-1. it should have been 5-1 but for some reason, United fucking sucks at penalties this season. but, that's 2 away wins in a week. holy shit.

the New Orleans Saints defeated Arizona yesterday, 31-9. Drew Brees looked like he didn't miss any time at all. the Saints have their bye week next week, which should allow them to get healthy and start a run to the playoffs.

the New York Rangers lost to Boston last night, 7-4. i watched some of the game, but turned it off in disgust.

Axios was very good last night.

Power was fucking crazy last night. next week is the mid-season finale.

The Affair was excellent last night. the series finale is next week.

Batwoman was good last night.

Watchmen was great last night.

Silicon Valley was hilarious last night. excellent start to its final season.

Mrs. Fletcher was pretty funny last night.

Last Week Tonight was brilliant as usual.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice, the series finale of The Deuce and Desus & Mero. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i was a little surprised that the New York Yankees let go of their pitching coach today.

apparently 24 hours of rain was enough...

much as i figured, i was in an ache yesterday all day long. the rain finally moved out early this morning, replaced by the wind that sounded like a fucking train. good times.

Ohio State started off slow yesterday against Wisconsin. thankfully, they got their shit together and absolutely destroyed the Badgers, 38-7. Chase Young had an amazing day on defense and J.K. Dobbins showed the rest of the country who the best running back in the Big Ten really is. Ohio State is off next week.

i did watch a few other games yesterday. Oklahoma was the biggest upset of the day, losing at Kansas State.

Saturday Night Live was really good last night, at least what i got to see. our local NBC station was off the air for about 20 minutes or so.

Austin City Limits was excellent last night.

NJPW was really good last night.

ROH was good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Axios, Power, Batwoman, The Affair, Watchmen, Silicon Valley, Mrs. Fletcher and Last Week Tonight.

Manchester United plays at Norwich today. hopefully, United will find a way to win.

the New Orleans Saints play today at home against Arizona. Drew Brees is going to play today for the first time since week 2. hopefully, he stays healthy and the Saints can keep winning.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Boston. i'd love to see the Rangers actually win two games in a row.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully, your Sunday will be even better.

welcome to a rainy weekend...

i knew there was a reason i slept like shit last night. four hours of tossing and turning, all due to the rain. fuck me.

i did write a poem last night. i typed it up around 3:30 in the morning. the joy of a poet. no control on when inspiration will strike.

Smackdown and 205 Live were both pretty good last night.

WWE Backstage was pretty good last night as well.

The Shop was excellent last night.

Room 104 was very good last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NJPW, Austin City Limits, Saturday Night Live and ROH.

Ohio State takes on Wisconsin today. hopefully, Ohio State will keep on winning.

i'm sure i will watch plenty of college football today.

here are your highlights from the NBA last night:

i will probably be on here tomorrow before Manchester United plays. they play a little before the New Orleans Saints play, so i will have to get the blog done in the morning tomorrow.

i hope everyone enjoys their Saturday. call if you need bail money.

sometimes it's a dull pain that never goes away...

these are the days where i understand the alcoholic gene inside of me is actually there to help. it's been a cloudy, dreary day with a ton of fucking rain on the way. i've been in fucking pain all damn day long. the stretching doesn't help, the exercises didn't help, so now i suppose it's either drugs or alcohol. good times.

i did listen to the latest episode of Notsam Wrestling late last night. you can find that by going here:

i did watch a good portion of the MLS playoffs last night. i fucking love that they have gone to single elimination games for the playoffs. makes the games so much more meaningful right from the start.

Young Sheldon was good last night.

The Unicorn was very good last night.

Perfect Harmony was funny last night.

Will & Grace was fucking hilarious last night. easily one of my favorite comedies of all time.

Desus & Mero was excellent last night.

NXT UK was really good last night.

Mr Inbetween was really good as well last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown, WWE Backstage, The Shop, Real Time with Bill Maher and Room 104. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

the New York Rangers ended their losing streak last night with easily, the best game they have played this season. they defeated a really good Buffalo team 6-2. hopefully this is a game they will build upon.

i will be on here tomorrow before Ohio State plays at noon.

the grocery store today was a sea of elderly people and me exercising every ounce of restraint i have.

that's all for me kids. i have a round of neck exercises i need to do and a desperate need to ice my body down after that.

i hope everyone has a great Friday night.

so, i rescheduled the appointments from yesterday. at first, they wanted me to do the upper GI scan the day after Christmas. no thanks. so, now i will be doing it the Tuesday before Thanksgiving at a hospital i didn't want to go to. joy. the appointment with the orthopedic doctor is now the week of Christmas. as i told my mother this morning, if either of these get cancelled, they will not get rescheduled. i'll play their game once. they piss me off from there, i take my ball and go home.

physical therapy went well today. the therapist and i talked about the Dayton Flyers for the full hour. i think most of my appointments are with him, so it should be a good time. i was able to do most of the exercises without a ton of pain. so, hopefully in 3 weeks my neck will be good enough that i'll just cancel the damn orthopedic appointment myself.

Manchester United ended their road curse today by winning in the Europa League, 1-0. those 3 points put them in charge of the group.

NXT was fucking great last night. i love a good heel turn and boy, did Finn Balor put a big ass smile on my face last night.

AEW was excellent last night as well.

American Horror Story was pretty good last night.

Cake was hilarious last night.

24/7 College Football was really good last night.

the New York Rangers take on Buffalo tonight at home. i'm hoping they end this losing streak sometime soon.

i doubt i will watch any of the NFL game tonight.

i might watch some of the NBA tonight. here are some highlights from last night:

i will be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done.

i really wish i had more hours in the day to get all this shit done. i swear, for the 19 hours a day i'm awake, i might cram 40 fucking hours worth of work into that. and i don't make a fucking penny for any of it. joy.

how i just love having my time wasted...

so i got up this morning, showered and was ready to go have a camera put down my throat to check my upper GI. the doctor's office called and asked if i could come early. i said yeah. so, my sister and i headed to the hospital. i checked in, filled out the paperwork. a few minutes later, i got called to the back. i filled out more paperwork, signed a few things and changed clothes, etc. etc. then, the anesthesiologist came in and voiced her concerns. she started out making sure i wouldn't take this the wrong way about my weight, which i immediately knew was going to be some bullshit about being fat, and that was exactly what it was. she was uncomfortable about doing the procedure because of my weight. she was afraid i would die and they don't have anything on hand to bring me back. i almost told her to just roll the fucking dice, i've lived enough. my blood pressure and oxygen levels were fine. the doctor came in and apologized, said he didn't think it was going to be a big deal. so, i had to get dressed and wait 10 fucking minutes for them to take me back to the front so i could reschedule the procedure at a hospital. mind you, this place is technically a hospital, but more thought of as outpatient facility. so, i'm sitting there and the woman that does the scheduling tells me they are already scheduling out to February 2020, so she couldn't do anything for me. i left, got my sister in the waiting room, and i was fucking fuming. did they not know i was heavy in the 3 previous visits to the office? my sister was truly fucking pissed. she took a day off of work to do this for me. i drove home so i could finally eat breakfast before noon. mom was a little stunned to see us back so soon.

now, part two of my venting. the battery on my car keys had died, so i went to the place where i got the lifetime guarantee to have it replaced. i was a little concerned, since my mother's name was on the card. thankfully, that didn't matter and within 5 minutes of walking in, i was walking out with a fresh battery and no charge at all. i went and got what mom wanted for lunch and she told me that the doctor's office called. i checked the message after i got done with lunch. so, two fucking hours after i sat there and they said they couldn't schedule anything, they called and gave me the number to call to schedule it. i wouldn't be pissed if the number was something other than the office number to have them schedule an appointment for you. and to top of all the bullshit today, the orthopedic doctor i was supposed to see in November about my fucked up neck isn't going to be in the office on the day of my appointment. so, i need to call them and reschedule.

and as much as i try not to do this, these are the days i punish myself for not following through on the purest thought i had when i was 8 years old. i imagine i will call the places tomorrow morning before i have physical therapy. or maybe i won't call them back at all. maybe tonight is the night i dance with Dylan Thomas and we see which fucker makes it under the table first.

the New York Rangers lost in OT last night to Arizona, 3-2. oh well, that's 5 losses in a row now.

The Voice was pretty good last night.

Total Divas was hilarious last night.

The Jim Jefferies Show was excellent last night.

Mr. Mercedes was great last night.

Mayans M.C. was fucking awesome last night.

i'm probably going to do the blog after my physical therapy session tomorrow, unless i get a wild hair up my ass and do it in the morning.

and i get the feeling i may have to unleash some shit on some empty pages tonight.

ah, the life of a poet. every memory is a fucking scar on my brain and i'm chasing shadows that relish every chance they get to fuck me over. imagine the tragedy if i was actually loved.

the joys of a pinched nerve in the neck...

i started my physical therapy today. i thought it was going to be for the carpal tunnel. of course, it wasn't. it was for the pinched nerve in my neck. they are hoping they can resolve that and that will solve the problems in my hand. that's a hail mary at best i believe. but, i go twice a week for the next 3 weeks. i'm hoping at the very least i no longer have any pain in my neck or shooting pains running down my right arm.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.

The Deuce was fucking amazing last night. the series finale is next week.

The Voice was good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice, Total Divas, Mr. Mercedes, Mayans M.C. and The Jim Jefferies Show.

the New York Rangers will look to end their losing streak tonight against the Coyotes. hopefully, they will find a way to get a win.

the NBA season starts tonight. i'll probably watch a little of the late game, Lakers vs. Clippers.

i believe my sister is coming down tonight so she'll be here in the morning to take me to the hospital to have my upper GI looked at. i'm hoping they don't find anything but i'm pretty sure my luck with my health has run the fuck out. she'll have to drive me home since i will be knocked out for the procedure. i'm really hoping they give me the good shit.

i will do a blog after i get home and am somewhat coherent. it's going to be interesting, especially since i have a physical therapy session on Thursday. joy.

that's all for me kids, i still have trash to pick up.

and of course, it had to rain...

i was actually feeling pretty good last night and then i could feel the rain creeping in. today, it fucking poured and will be doing so again in a hour or so. joy. i just started my laundry after making a run to the pharmacy to get the prescriptions that were ready. that could have happened hours ago but mom forgot to tell me she was completely out of her muscle relaxers. of course, she tried a guilt trip on me and that doesn't work anymore. i'm cold and bitter in my old age. joy.

Manchester United played much better than i was expecting yesterday. and if Ashley Young wouldn't have fell asleep on defense, United would have got the 3 points they desperately needed. instead, it was a 1-1 draw against Liverpool. hopefully, this will be a little something they can build on for the rest of the season.

the New York Rangers got down 3-0 in the first period yesterday. that ended up being too big of a hole to climb out of as the Rangers lost to Vancouver, 3-2. that's 4 losses in a row. ah, the joys of a young team.

the New Orleans Saints completely dominated the Bears yesterday, defeating them 36-25. honestly, the game was never as close as the score indicates as the Saints took their foot off the gas the last 6 minutes of the game. they are back at home on next Sunday to play Arizona.

Axios was really good last night.

Batwoman was excellent last night.

Watchmen was fucking great last night. i think i will love this series.

The Affair was amazing last night.

the season finale of On Becoming A God in Central Florida was really good last night.

what a cruel world...

so, the New York Yankees lost to Houston last night, 6-4, on a walk off 2 run homer from Jose Altuve. that happened after the Yankees tied the game at 4 in the top half of the 9th inning. that's the 3rd time in the last 5 years the Astros have eliminated the Yankees. that's a bitter taste that never quite leaves.

so the World Series will be the Nationals vs. the Astros. good thing i won't be watching.

i watched a ton of the MLS playoffs yesterday, as well as some college football.

NJPW was pretty good last night.

ROH was good last night.

Austin City Limits was excellent last night.

Manchester United takes on Liverpool here in a little bit. i'd love for United to shock me today and actually play well for a fucking change.

the New York Rangers play at home this afternoon against Vancouver. hopefully, the Rangers can end their losing streak today.

the New Orleans Saints play later this afternoon at Chicago. hopefully, the Saints can keep on winning.
