just enough rain to make me miserable...

i think we're getting some of the hurricane or what is left of the tropical depression today. it has been raining on and off for hours now. just enough to make me fucking miserable. joy.

the Yankees lost again last night, to the Angels, 8-7. hopefully they will end the losing streak tonight.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, NXT, Deadliest Catch and Hard Knocks.

i have spent a good portion of today watching the deadline coverage of the transfer window, wondering what Manchester United might do.

when i read CR7's message this morning to all the United fans, i started to cry. the line that this was for Sir Alex got to me. if Cristiano can bring home some trophies in his second time with the club, he will be a god.

i need to pick up the trash and get that out. i also have a couple of checks to write. hopefully, i will get paid tomorrow and add a trip to the bank to all the grocery shopping i need to do.

i should be on here after i get that all done tomorrow.

until tomorrow kids...

how i just love having my time wasted...

so i got up this morning, showered and was ready to go have a camera put down my throat to check my upper GI. the doctor's office called and asked if i could come early. i said yeah. so, my sister and i headed to the hospital. i checked in, filled out the paperwork. a few minutes later, i got called to the back. i filled out more paperwork, signed a few things and changed clothes, etc. etc. then, the anesthesiologist came in and voiced her concerns. she started out making sure i wouldn't take this the wrong way about my weight, which i immediately knew was going to be some bullshit about being fat, and that was exactly what it was. she was uncomfortable about doing the procedure because of my weight. she was afraid i would die and they don't have anything on hand to bring me back. i almost told her to just roll the fucking dice, i've lived enough. my blood pressure and oxygen levels were fine. the doctor came in and apologized, said he didn't think it was going to be a big deal. so, i had to get dressed and wait 10 fucking minutes for them to take me back to the front so i could reschedule the procedure at a hospital. mind you, this place is technically a hospital, but more thought of as outpatient facility. so, i'm sitting there and the woman that does the scheduling tells me they are already scheduling out to February 2020, so she couldn't do anything for me. i left, got my sister in the waiting room, and i was fucking fuming. did they not know i was heavy in the 3 previous visits to the office? my sister was truly fucking pissed. she took a day off of work to do this for me. i drove home so i could finally eat breakfast before noon. mom was a little stunned to see us back so soon.

now, part two of my venting. the battery on my car keys had died, so i went to the place where i got the lifetime guarantee to have it replaced. i was a little concerned, since my mother's name was on the card. thankfully, that didn't matter and within 5 minutes of walking in, i was walking out with a fresh battery and no charge at all. i went and got what mom wanted for lunch and she told me that the doctor's office called. i checked the message after i got done with lunch. so, two fucking hours after i sat there and they said they couldn't schedule anything, they called and gave me the number to call to schedule it. i wouldn't be pissed if the number was something other than the office number to have them schedule an appointment for you. and to top of all the bullshit today, the orthopedic doctor i was supposed to see in November about my fucked up neck isn't going to be in the office on the day of my appointment. so, i need to call them and reschedule.

and as much as i try not to do this, these are the days i punish myself for not following through on the purest thought i had when i was 8 years old. i imagine i will call the places tomorrow morning before i have physical therapy. or maybe i won't call them back at all. maybe tonight is the night i dance with Dylan Thomas and we see which fucker makes it under the table first.

the New York Rangers lost in OT last night to Arizona, 3-2. oh well, that's 5 losses in a row now.

The Voice was pretty good last night.

Total Divas was hilarious last night.

The Jim Jefferies Show was excellent last night.

Mr. Mercedes was great last night.

Mayans M.C. was fucking awesome last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NXT, AEW, American Horror Story, Cake and 24/7 College Football.

i did watch a little of the NBA games last night. here are some highlights:

i know Manchester United plays in the Europa League tomorrow. here is a preview:

i'm probably going to do the blog after my physical therapy session tomorrow, unless i get a wild hair up my ass and do it in the morning.

and i get the feeling i may have to unleash some shit on some empty pages tonight.

ah, the life of a poet. every memory is a fucking scar on my brain and i'm chasing shadows that relish every chance they get to fuck me over. imagine the tragedy if i was actually loved.

until tomorrow kids...

pronto, no seré más que un recuerdo que se desvanece

one of those days...

last night, i had the alcohol flowing; i was playing the new Thelonious Monk live album... all i was missing was the needle and a spoon. sadly, the poems never came, but i did enjoy getting lost in some old sounds.

i woke up this morning, said good morning to the muse and started to get ready to get shit together for the grocery store. of course, i quickly found out that today would entail 2 grocery stores, the drug store and getting gas.

sometime last night, i discovered this large red mark on my left leg. so, that adds another fucking color to my left leg. i have no fucking clue what it is. i've been putting some anti-itch ointment on it, hoping it would do something to it. so far, no fucking luck. so, i'll add that to the scroll i'll take to my doctor's appointment on October 2nd.

the New York Rangers won their last preseason game last night in Philadelphia, 4-2. i did watch a good portion of the game. i was a little surprised with the cuts the Rangers made today, but i will hold off any judgment for now. given a new coach and a new system, i'll allow things to play out before i get critical of management. at least for now... the Rangers season starts October 4th at home against Nashville.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

The Big Bang Theory was pretty funny last night.

Young Sheldon was pretty funny as well last night.

i felt bad for the muse last night while watching the game between the Vikings and Rams. that certainly wasn't the game to have any of those defenses on your fantasy team.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be VICE, NJPW and Real Time with Bill Maher.

the New York Yankees start their final regular season series tonight in Boston. this series really doesn't mean much. all the Yankees need is 1 victory or 1 Oakland A's loss and the Yankees will be hosting the wild card game next Wednesday. the winner of the game will go to Boston to play in the division series. i wouldn't mind if the Yankees just won tonight and got it over with.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays early in the morning.

the drug store was pretty good today other than this fucking kid yelling and hitting his grandmother about how he wanted a toy. of course, the grandmother didn't look that older than me. the local grocery store was pretty painless. the big grocery store was a fucking zoo. i did see a few beautiful women in there. of course, their children were with them as well. all in all, between the pills, the gas for the Highlander, the groceries and my $2 toy at the drug store, i spent somewhere around $260 today. fuck me. good thing mom will be paying me back soon. joy.

i hope everyone has a great weekend.

death is slowly creeping up from behind...

walking around the grocery store today, i could feel it. death was creeping up right behind me. i don't believe i'll be sleeping in the dirt anytime soon, but i will admit, i'd love to finally get some decent rest.

i did a little poetry work last night. i know where my next 30 poems are going. i will probably tackle those early next week.

The Chris Gethard Show was fucking great last night.

Fuck, That's Delicious Classics was excellent last night.

Better Things was really good last night.

Gotham was amazing last night.

Will & Grace was very good last night.

The Big Bang Theory was very funny last night.

Young Sheldon was pretty good last night.

Life in Pieces was excellent last night.

the New York Rangers won last night in Tampa, 2-1 in OT. i wonder where the fuck this team was when the season started. if they could play like that the rest of the season, they might actually dig themselves out of this fucking hole.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, NJPW, Prophets of Rage, Real Time with Bill Maher and Mike Judge Presents: Tales from the Tour Bus.

i got some vermouth at the liquor store today while grocery shopping. i may make some sophisticated white trash martinis this weekend, just for shits and giggles.

mom is doing pretty well after her injection yesterday. she's planning on going to the basketball game tomorrow night. it will be her first time at UD Arena in a long time. i'm really interested to see what the first phase of the transformation looks like.

i'll be on here in the morning tomorrow. i hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
