i woke up this morning and the internet was out. i didn't think much of it. i have this shit happens philosophy now that i am trying to adhere to. now, when it was 90 minutes later and the internet was still out, i was starting to wonder what the fuck is going on. thankfully, that was when it came back on.
the New York Rangers lost last night at home to Washington, 3-2, in OT.
the Rangers made another trade today...
The Masked Singer was crazy last night.
Abbott Elementary was pretty funny last night.
AEW Dynamite was good last night.
i did watch the Manchester United game today. they finished 1-1 against Real Sociedad. in the grand scheme of things, 1-1 on the road isn't horrible. knowing that they got their goal from a cheap penalty and United missed so many fucking chances, it makes 1-1 feel like a fucking loss. joy.

the Yankees have been constantly testing my patience this season, especially with the bullpen. Clay Holmes blew another fucking save last night. i'm not sure why they insist on having a guy who doesn't strike everyone out as their closer. of course, it has been 15 years since they have won anything, so... they lost to Detroit last night, 3-2, in 10 innings. they are off tonight and start a series Tuesday at home against Cleveland.
the NASCAR race had to finish today because of the rain yesterday. sadly, neither driver i had money on to win did.
Big Brother was good last night.
Industry was excellent last night.
Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT as usual.

i got my orders in today from Topps and Death Wish Coffee. that made me happy.

it rained a bit overnight again, but thankfully, not enough to wake me up this time. plus, it felt nice enough outside this morning, i was able to open the doors and get a little air moving through the house.
the Yankees won yesterday against the Red Sox, 7-5. Judge is still at 60 HR, though i have little doubt he will break the American League record for homers. i hope he gets hot again from the plate as he is now second in batting average. i really hope he wins the triple crown. the Yankees go for the sweep tonight. they have won more games this season than last, so i'm hoping that is a good sign for the playoffs.
Ohio State whipped Wisconsin last night, 52-21.
i did watch a little of the MLS game last night as well.

today is the last day of April. so, of course, it is raining this morning. i hope everyone has enjoyed the videos and my SoundCloud recordings for the month. below are the final 3 videos for this day of National Poetry Month:
the Yankees won last night at the Royals, 12-2. they play again tonight.
the New York Rangers defeated Washington last night, 3-2. the Rangers will play Pittsburgh in the first round of the playoffs, starting on Tuesday at home.
the New Orleans Saints took a defensive back last night in the 3rd round, Alontae Taylor from Tennessee. he looks like he could be a good fit on defense and especially, special teams. the Saints have 2 draft picks today, so i'm hoping they get guys that can fill roles that they still have open. the remaining rounds of the NFL Draft start today at noon.
Smackdown and NXT Level Up were pretty good last night.
AEW Rampage was really good last night as well.
Real Time with Bill Maher was hilarious last night.
A Black Lady Sketch Show was fucking great last night.
here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
nothing on the DVR tonight. looks like this will be the day to catch up on some sleep.
other than the NFL Draft today, i'll probably watch some soccer from around the world. that usually helps me sleep.
i do plan on taking a shower today and shaving. i always like to shave a little before the NHL playoffs start.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday.

so, i figured i would do the blog now instead of trying to squeeze it in after the Manchester United game this afternoon. mostly because i also need to go to the bank today as well.
the Dayton Flyers won last night at Rhode Island, 63-57. thankfully, they shot way better in the second half than the first.
Monday Night Raw was good last night.
Celebrity Big Brother was good last night. Shanna was the one evicted last night. i think there is just two weeks left in the show. i imagine it will come down to Miesha and Todrick.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be NXT.
the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Boston. hopefully, the boys are rested and ready to go.
late tonight, the USA men's hockey team takes on Slovakia in the quarterfinals of the Winter Olympics. hopefully, they will find a way to get a win tonight.
Manchester United plays this afternoon at home against Brighton. i'm hoping United can find a way to be clinical in the final third for a change. i won't be shocked if this game is another struggle or even if United loses.
i should be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done.

well, the deep winter chill is coming on these days. at least the sun is out. it is supposed to get down to the single digits tonight and there is a chance of snow tomorrow. i don't think we have had a winter like this in years.
the Dayton Flyers defeated George Mason last night, 74-65. that was the exact same score when they played the first time this season.
Smackdown and 205 Live were both really good last night.
Real Time with Bill Maher was excellent last night.
Painting with John was hilarious last night.
enjoy some music:

Manchester United plays this afternoon at home against Everton. i'm hoping the boys can win again.

i know Duke plays North Carolina today in college basketball. both teams suck this year, so i doubt i will watch.
i think i figured out how we can watch the Super Bowl with the local CBS and DIRECTV having a pissing match with each other. i put the NFL app on our smart tv. i'm really hoping that works tomorrow.

here are your highlights from Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Game 6 will be on Sunday.
Smackdown and 205 Live were both pretty good last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was pretty funny last night.

i will probably be watching plenty of college football today and hopefully, going through the baseball cards that my sister is bringing down and the order from Topps.com, that should arrive today.
thanks to everyone that checked out my latest published poems. i really do appreciate it.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. the Saints don't play until Monday night, so i assume i will be on here before the football games start on Sunday.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
not to mention, the internet keeps going in and out and your lower back is waving the white flag. fuck, i hate days like these...
the Yankees lost to the Marlins yesterday, 5-0. thanks to Baltimore beating the Blue Jays, the Yankees got the 5th seed in the playoffs instead of the 8th seed. so, they now have to play at Cleveland in the first round. given the Indians pitching and the Yankees offense only showing up when they want to, i can't imagine the Yankees winning this series.
here are your highlights from the NBA last night. i am really looking forward to the NBA Finals...
the Saints lost last night to the Packers, 37-30. too many damn penalties on the defense and Taysom Hill had a huge fumble that basically cost them the game.
Big Brother was pretty good last night.
Power Book II: Ghost was really good last night.
Lovecraft Country was fucking awesome last night.
The Vow was excellent last night.
Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT as usual.
Our Cartoon President was hilarious last night.
Desus & Mero was great last night.
WWE Clash of Champions was really, really good last night. between the crazy triple threat ladder match, to the McIntyre vs. Orton match, to Roman Reigns more or less becoming the best heel in wrestling at the moment, this was so much better than i was expecting.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Axios, The Third Day and We Are Who We Are. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.
i will probably watch some of the NHL tonight.
i did listen to episode 310 of Notsam Wrestling this morning. you can find that by going here:
i have to take the Highlander to the dealership tomorrow morning to get it serviced. time for an oil change, etc. mom made the appointment for 10:30 in the morning. i just hope i am up and actually awake by then. i should be on here after i get back from that.

they simply don't have enough hours for all the shit i try to get done each fucking day. but, i try my best to do as much as possible since i know, one day, i won't be around anymore. and i know exactly what i'm seeing on the horizon.
i think i made my first sale of baseball cards today. fingers crossed.
i am going through all my albums of cards and getting them in order. i went a little nuts this afternoon and did 8 of them. i think i only have 3 left to do now. i have 36 total!!!!
the Yankees became the first MLB team to ever hit 6 or more home runs in 3 straight games. they swept the Blue Jays last night, 10-7. they start a series tonight in Boston. i really hope they just keep on fucking winning.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
NXT UK was excellent last night. i'm so happy they are back.
Holey Moley was hilarious last night.
Big Brother went as i thought it would go. Ian got evicted. Memphis is the new HOH, in yet another sign that 2020 is the year from fucking hell.
Desus & Mero was fucking hilarious last night.

the Stanley Cup Final should be a good one, Dallas vs. Tampa Bay.

so, last night, the pain in mom's side got worse. of course, pride is the thing holding her back from having it looked at. until a sleepless night and then she finally called the doctor and started to bitch and complain. i guess tomorrow i will take her to get a x-ray of her ribs. i just got back from picking up the muscle relaxers the doctor ordered her today. of course, Medicare wanted him to fill out more paperwork before they would pay for it. she said fuck it, and just go pay for it. thankfully, it wasn't too expensive. that was my second trip to the store today to pick up pills. i had two prescriptions for myself i had to get. i start my physical therapy the day before i get a camera shoved down my throat. i made another trip to Meijer today. their website said what i was looking for yesterday was in. of course, it wasn't. but, i brought the frame sizes i needed along with me, so i got that done today. i had 4 pieces of art that needed frames. and to top off this random long ass note to start this blog off, i wrote 3 poems last night. i typed those up at 5 in the morning. i got to bed around 6 and was up at 9. joy.
the Cardinals and the Nationals advanced yesterday to the NLCS. that should be an interesting series.
i probably will watch some of the ALDS Game 5 tonight.
NXT was really good last night.
AEW was really good last night as well.
American Horror Story was crazy last night.
Cake was awesome last night.
The Masked Singer was good last night.
24/7 College Football was about Penn State last night. i had a few good laughs when they all thought they are the best team in the Big Ten.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Young Sheldon, Mr Inbetween, The Unicorn and Perfect Harmony. i'll watch NXT UK sometime tonight on WWE Network.
i really have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow. the way my mother is having trouble breathing, i think a rib might have punctured a lung. and if that is the case, i'm going to guess that i might not have a chance to squeeze in a blog tomorrow between that and grocery shopping and whatever the fuck else i need to do. worst case scenario, i might do the blog around 4 or 5 in the morning, who knows.
i suppose i should take a shower tonight sometime.
that's all for me kids. until whenever...

i spent most of yesterday in my massage chair, trying to loosen up my neck. eventually, i did get it loose, but of course, my back was then hurting. it never fails. i got both calmed down enough to get about 5 hours of sleep last night. good times.
i turned off the Dayton Flyers game yesterday when they were down by 22 against VCU. i did follow the score and when Dayton started making their comeback, i never turned back to the game. superstition was running the show now. Dayton did come all the way back but of course, ended up losing to VCU, 69-68. that pretty much eliminates Dayton from having a chance to win the conference now. so, i guess the goal will be to finish in the top 4. that should be doable, even though you can tell they badly miss Trey Landers. and given the brace he was wearing on his shoulder yesterday, i have no clue when he will be back.
i did watch most of the NBA All-Star Saturday Night festivities. the slam dunk contest was better than the last few years. i loved that Steph Curry lost the 3 point shootout and i always love when a big man wins the skills competition.
Saturday Night Live was pretty good last night.
ROH was very good last night.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Total Bellas, True Detective, Crashing, High Maintenance, Last Week Tonight, Shameless, Black Monday and SMILF. i'll be watching WWE Elimination Chamber for most of the evening on WWE Network.

the New York Rangers play this afternoon at Pittsburgh. i'd love to see the Rangers win today, but i'm not expecting them to.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully, your Sunday will be even better.
