welcome to WrestleMania weekend...

i have to admit, i am very curious what WrestleMania is going to look like this year. as far as i know, the matches have already been taped, but i have avoided any spoilers. i'm dying for any kind of sports at the moment, so even if it isn't great i'll probably still like it.

Smackdown and 205 Live were both pretty good last night.

the season finale of High Maintenance last night was excellent.

Real Time with Bill Maher was hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH. i'll be watching night 1 of WrestleMania 36 tonight on WWE Network.

i got a somewhat decent night of sleep (almost a solid 5 hours) last night, so i'm hoping i feel better today.

the joy of finding toilet paper...

of course, it couldn't be the toilet paper i wanted, but shit, it will do. and mom got a bunch of wipes sent to the house today. so, we're set for the next month or so i think. i did get everything on the grocery list today. took going to 3 different stores to do it. i did get a good laugh when i was in Family Dollar. they were talking about the woman that was leaving the store when i was walking in. apparently, that was her third time in the store that day. mind you, this was before noon. she changed her clothes and came back twice. all for toilet paper and cleaning supplies. the joy of living in a town full of Republicans. everyone here is hoarding everything. fucking assholes.

here is your video for this day of National Poetry Month:

our grass got cut today. it was nice enough out that i actually opened up the house a bit.

i managed to shave a bit and get the fucking hair off of my neck before i took a shower today. amazingly, i think the barber shop in town is still open. surprised no one has told the state about that.

Obi Toppin and Anthony Grant pulled off another double trophy take again. both won the Naismith Coach and Player of the Year.

i should be on here early tomorrow. it will definitely be before the first night of WrestleMania 36 starts.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. hopefully the weather is nice enough you can get outside for a bit and do something.

stay healthy kids...

before the storms hit...

it looks like it is going to be an active weather day here. i could tell this morning that it was much warmer outside. so, of course that means there is a chance for severe thunderstorms today and tornadoes... good times.

Smackdown was pretty good last night, as was 205 Live.

the season finale of The Trade was excellent last night.

High Maintenance was really funny last night.

enjoy some music:

i'm used to the misery...

it's been raining on and off all day so far. the heavy shit is supposed to come tonight. i'm hoping it arrives long after all the shit i'm recording has been recorded to the DVR.

i took mom to pick up her taxes today. i asked her if she wanted to go grocery shopping after that. i was sort of shocked when she said yes. we got everything at the local grocery store. thank fucking god we still have toilet paper. there isn't a damn store around here that has any. when we came out of the store, the rain had started back up. joy.

NXT UK was really good last night.

it took 9 episodes, but Indebted was finally fucking hilarious last night.

Better Things was really good last night.

Cake was funny as always last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown, High Maintenance and the season finale of The Trade. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

pour one out for The Gambler...

i am of the age where Kenny Rogers was definitely a part of my childhood. between the late 70's and early 80's, you couldn't escape those songs. i was saddened to see he died overnight. but, with how crazy this fucking world is now, i'm sure he's in a better place. and i want to thank him, as his death woke up the genius in me and the pen found the paper this morning.

i wrote 7 poems this morning, my first poems in over a fucking month. i typed them up and i think most of them are really good. hopefully, i will have a few more poems in me tomorrow.

Smackdown was good last night, as was 205 Live.

The Trade was really good last night. the season finale is next week.

High Maintenance was great last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH.

well, it did get down to the upper 20's last night. i didn't sleep very well. shocker.

i forgot to mention that Obi Toppin was the only player who was voted unanimous first team All-American yesterday. that was nice to see, even though i'm always going to have the great What If with this fucking season. hopefully he wins more awards and i do hope Coach Grant wins the national coach of the year.

i may have to go to the grocery store tomorrow to return some shit my mother forgot to tell me to return weeks ago. joy.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i'm guessing late morning/early afternoon if all goes well.

that's all for me kids.

i hope your Saturday hasn't been too fucking boring.

welcome to the first weekend of Spring...

we got 2 inches of rain last night. it was in the 60's today but very windy. and of course, since it's Ohio, the temps are going to drop 40 fucking degrees by tomorrow. joy.

i did all of the grocery shopping today at the local grocery store. i was able to find most of what was on the list. it's a little more expensive than Kroger's, but at least i was able to find shit like bread, cheese, tissues, etc. i managed to keep it under $100, so i'm happy with that. i explained to mom last night that we might have to spend a bit more on shit during this pandemic. mostly because capitalism is as fucking evil as possible.

NXT UK was really good last night.

Will & Grace was hilarious last night.

Indebted was good last night.

Better Things was great last night.

Cake was awesome last night.

i did listen to the latest podcast from Blackburn Review this afternoon. you can find that by going here: https://soundcloud.com/blackburn-review/episode-27-chip-mikesell-tells-all

i'm hoping to get some writing done this weekend. i don't think i'm dealing with writer's block or fucking apathy, i just know i haven't had any ideas come to me and light a damn fire here recently. i'm really hoping that changes this weekend.

i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow.

so now it's snowing, what the @#%$...

so just my fucking luck, last night my sinuses blew up and i'm draining snot like a motherfucker. i guess it's a good thing i have a doctor's appointment on Monday.

the snow started this morning, thankfully after i got the newspaper. holy fuck, maybe the world is coming to an end.

my sister did make it down here. she's going to be here a few hours i think.

Smackdown last night was pretty interesting. i give the WWE credit for doing the show at the performance center with no fans and still making it entertaining.

205 Live was very good last night as well.

Real Time with Bill Maher was great last night.

The Trade was very interesting last night.

High Maintenance was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH.

i will probably watch that UFC event from Brazil this afternoon. and for some fucking reason, the Mexican league is still playing soccer, so i will probably watch that sometime today as well.

i'm really going to try to either get some more sleep today or get some poems written.

considering i started this day off coughing hard enough that i pissed my pants, there should be plenty of poems that need to get out of my head quickly.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. stay healthy.

i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

you'd think everyone was going to be dead by the weekend...

the thing i fucking love about chaos is the worst of society always comes to the light. this sudden need for everyone to hoard toilet paper. how the fuck does a grocery store run out of milk? and bread? and cheese? fuck me, as i told my mother when i got home this afternoon, i'm rooting for an early death.

my usual routine on Friday is to go to the local grocery store and get the few things they have that are cheaper than at Kroger. on occasion, i sometimes will stop in Rite-Aid, which is right next to the local store. so, today mom needed some stuff from Rite-Aid. i got what she needed there and then went to the local grocery store and got what i needed there. i took all that home and then headed to Kroger. this is where we get our prescriptions at. i was fucking stunned that they were out of milk and cheese. thankfully, they did have the bread i was looking for. i got in line behind a couple that had two shopping carts full. he looked at me and laughed. he said i picked the wrong line. i told him i'm a patient person, which i can be when i want to be. after coupons, their total was around $640. fuck my life. my total was a little over $135. i got home and unloaded all of that and had to go back out to get what Kroger didn't have. so, the local grocery store had milk and cheese, but no toilet paper. i remember seeing some toilet paper in Rite-Aid, so i went back there. i got what i was looking for and sure enough the manager stops me and asks me in a, i'm going to call the cops kind of way, if i was in earlier buying toilet paper? sadly for this cunt, i tend to have a photographic memory when accused of shit. i told her exactly what i bought and why i was getting the toilet paper now. and i made sure to tell her in a tone of, would you like to fucking die now or later?, kind of way. nothing like a society in a fucking panic to get my poetic juices flowing.

i got home and asked my mother if the world ever thinks how many people are still alive because i haven't flipped that switch yet?

Young Sheldon was good last night.

the season finale of The Unicorn was good last night.

Will & Grace was hilarious last night.

Indebted was good last night.

i believe my sister is coming down at some point tomorrow. the weather is a bit crazy here at the moment. the sun is out and the temps are going down. and the lady this morning said there was a chance of snow tomorrow. fuck off.

since there are no fucking sports on, i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i might do a SoundCloud recording at some point tonight/tomorrow and i do want to get some poems written.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. stay healthy, quit hoarding shit and remember one thing...

today is the day

the Dayton Flyers have their senior night tonight against George Washington. Dayton is favored by 20 1/2 points. i'd love to see them win by 40 tonight. and i do hope Ryan Mikesell and Trey Landers go out with big games. if Dayton wins tonight, they will finish the A10 18-0. they will be a school record 29-2 on the season. they will be the #1 seed of the A10 tournament. i did watch College GameDay this morning on television. if i lived closer, i probably would have tried to get on campus to see it in person. i am so damn pumped for tonight.

Smackdown and 205 Live were both pretty good last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was really good last night.

High Maintenance was great last night.

The Trade is one of those shows everyone in this country should be forced to watch.

enjoy some music:

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against the New Jersey Devils. hopefully, the Rangers will get a win tonight. the game is on at the same time i'll be at the Dayton game, so i'll watch the highlights when i get home.

i should be on here tomorrow before Manchester United plays Manchester City. i know i want to get the blog done before that game starts, just in case the results aren't too my liking.

so, it was raining sideways...

i know how crazy my Friday has been by the time i end up having lunch. on most days, i'm having lunch around 1 or 2 in the afternoon. today, i had lunch a little after 5 PM. fuck me.

i had to go to 3 grocery stores to get everything on the grocery list, which included some stuff my sister wanted me to look for. lovely. i found everything on the list and given everything i had to get, the fact i kept everything, including getting gas, under $200, is a minor miracle.

the New York Rangers played a game for the ages last night, defeating the Capitals 6-5 in OT. Mika Zibanejad tied a Rangers record last night, scoring 5 goals in the game, including the game winner in overtime. the Rangers are now just 2 points out from a playoff spot.

NXT UK was really good last night.

Young Sheldon was pretty funny last night.

The Unicorn was very funny last night. the season finale is next week.

Will & Grace was hilarious last night.

Indebted was good last night, although i would be shocked if this show gets a season 2.

Better Things was excellent last night.

leap this...

last night was one of those nights at UD Arena that i used to daydream about as a child. Dayton whipped Davidson last night, 82-67. the most amazing thing about the game though, was Dayton missed their first 2 point shot last night and then went on to make their next 27 in a row. just imagine shooting 96% in a fucking game. Obi Toppin broke Chris Wright's dunk record last night. the team decided not to cut down the nets after the game, even though they clinched the A10 outright. they have bigger things ahead of them. what a time to be fucking alive. and to top it off, ESPN will be bringing College GameDay to Dayton next Saturday.

i got home and saw the highlights of the New York Rangers 5-2 loss at Philadelphia. i knew the road winning streak was going to end sometime. even worse news, Chris Krieder broke his foot last night blocking a shot. great.

Smackdown was good last night. so i guess Goldberg beat The Fiend so Roman Reigns can take on Goldberg at WrestleMania. at least i know the match i will be taking a piss break in. So, The Fiend will now take on John Cena at WrestleMania and i really hope this is a torch passing match.

205 Live was really good last night.

High Maintenance was brilliant last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was really good last night as well.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Saturday Night Live and ROH.

i'll probably watch plenty of college basketball and some of the MLS tonight.

i was pleasantly pleased when Liverpool lost today. that brought a smile to my face.

the goal tomorrow is to get the blog done before Manchester United plays at Everton in the morning. i want to do that because the Rangers play at home tomorrow against Philadelphia in the afternoon.

it's supposed to be dry this weekend and get warm enough to melt the snow. of course, it's supposed to rain most of the start of next week. as usual for Ohio, the weather changes just enough to make sure everyone is fucking sick all the time.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money.

welcome to a cold Friday...

i would love to wait for it to warm up to go do the grocery shopping, but i would have to wait until Sunday for that to happen. oh well.

the New York Rangers won their franchise's best 9th straight road game at Montreal last night, 5-2. considering they were trailing entering the 3rd period 2-1, i'm pretty damn happy with the result. they play tonight at Philadelphia.

Will & Grace was very funny last night.

i am planning on going to the game, so that's all for me today kids. i need to shower and then get all the grocery shopping done.

i hope everyone has a great Friday. hope your weekend gets off on the right foot.

welcome to the weekend...

i'm running on 4 hours of sleep at the moment, so this should be a fun day.

the New York Rangers won their 7th straight road game last night in Carolina, 5-2. that ties the franchise record for a road winning streak. they play tonight at home against San Jose.

Smackdown and 205 Live were both really good last night.

High Maintenance was excellent last night.

The Cure: Anniversary 1978 - 2018 Live in Hyde Park London was brilliant last night. i have loved that band since i was a kid.

the Dayton Flyers put their winning streak on the line this afternoon at home against Duquesne. i'm hoping Dayton puts this game to bed early.
