i found out right before i fell asleep last night that the pope had died. i find it curious that one of the last pieces of shit to see him alive was J.D. Vance. now, i'm not saying one thing killed the other, just saying it is interesting. in a weird way, last night was full of tragedy. be it wrestling, tv shows, reality... damn.
night 2 of WrestleMania was damn near perfect. the show was much better paced than night 1. i liked the matches better. the Joe Hendry surprise was actually a surprise. it was great to see Becky Lynch back. then, the main event started. Cena's win over Cody felt completely anticlimactic. now, i have learned to let everything play out before casting judgement, but this certainly fell flat. and i know in wrestling history, when your main event falls flat, it takes away from the whole show.
The Last of Us last night was shocking, mostly because i didn't know what was coming since i never played the video game.
The Americas last night was the behind the scenes of how they made the show. that was fascinating to watch.
The Righteous Gemstones was hilarious last night. just two episodes left.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan was very good last night.
here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs yesterday:
here are your highlights from the NHL playoffs yesterday:
Manchester United lost yesterday at home to Wolves, 1-0.
the Yankees won 4-0 yesterday against Tampa Bay. i couldn't believe the official scorer took away the no hitter that Max Fried was working on. and i couldn't believe the umpires and the replay booth took away a home run from Aaron Judge that was clearly fair. the Yankees start a series tonight in Cleveland.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
nothing on the DVR tonight. i will be watching Monday Night Raw on Netflix. the Raw after WrestleMania is always a crazy one.
below are your two videos for this day of National Poetry Month:
mom has physical therapy today. i will hopefully write some poems there.
i should be on here tomorrow in the afternoon, most likely.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.

i do love that today happens to be 4/20 and Easter. they go hand in hand most of the time.
night 1 of WrestleMania was good. a few surprises, probably nothing bigger than what happened in the pre-show. WWE has purchased the Mexican promotion AAA. that floored me. i have always been a fan of lucha libre and can only hope that the WWE machine will make it even bigger. as for the matches, i love that Jey Uso won the title. the Paul Heyman double backstab to end up with Seth Rollins was very good. hopefully, it will be even better tonight.
earlier in the day, NXT Stand & Deliver was really good.

WrestleMania 41 is this weekend. since i have seen every WrestleMania, i don't plan on ending that streak anytime soon. so, plenty of the next few blogs will have enough wrestling talk to drive you mad. i totally get it if you skip all that to find the other stuff. but, if you are interested in it, enjoy.
before i get to any of that, here are your videos for this day of National Poetry Month:
Smackdown was excellent last night.
the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony was good last night. it was long as fuck, but i figured it would be.
the Yankees won last night against Tampa Bay, 1-0. hopefully, they will win again this afternoon.
Real Time with Bill Maher was hilarious last night.
i did catch some of the NBA playoffs last night.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
night 2 of WrestleMania 40 was awesome. when the cash in happened in the first match, i told mom it was going to be a crazy night. i absolutely love they started the main event before 10 PM. and that main event had everything. as i explained to my mother, Cody and Seth had to lose on Saturday for Cody to have a chance to win on Sunday. to see the Undertaker come back to confront The Rock was a big shock to me. but most of all, i was so damn happy that Cody won and finished the story. now, it will be very interesting to see where WWE goes from here. i have to believe this was the biggest WrestleMania of all time.
here are your 3 videos for this day of national poetry month:
the Yankees won yesterday at home against Toronto, 8-3. they start a series tonight at home against the Marlins.
the New York Rangers won last night at home against Montreal, 5-2. they tied their season record for wins last night.
the series finale of The Regime was crazy.
the series finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm was hilarious.
A Gentleman in Moscow was very good last night.
Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT as usual.
here are your highlights from the NBA yesterday:

i'm mostly done with my laundry. i'm hoping my clothes will dry before all the shit begins tonight.
the national championship game between UConn and Perdue is tonight.
i was stunned to see the news last night about Kentucky's coach leaving to go coach Arkansas.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.
i should be on here tomorrow after i get back from taking mom to get her injection in her back.
honestly, i think because i used my drug use as a teenage as a means to expand my brain, etc. instead of just wanting to get high as fuck... my brain is really different than most people i know. i tend to do better on the less sleep i get. i know that bubble will fucking burst at some point, so i might as well enjoy the ride now. my thoughts on a few things will be coming up, but first...
here are your 3 videos for this day of national poetry month:
speaking of poems, i wrote 3 last night. they will be part of a submission i am sending out tomorrow.
the New York Yankees won last night at home against Toronto, 9-8. hopefully, they will win the series this afternoon.
the national championship is now set in college basketball...
NXT Stand and Deliver yesterday was good.
night 1 of WrestleMania 40 was amazing. most of the matches were really good. i had tears in my eyes when Sami Zayn upset GUNTHER to win the intercontinental championship, especially since he busted out a move i haven't seen him do since he went by El Generico. i am hoping for more chaos tonight and i really want Cody to somehow defeat Roman.
AEW Collision was good last night.
Saturday Night Live was hilarious last night.
here are your highlights from the NBA yesterday:
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be the series finale of The Regime, the series finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm, A Gentleman in Moscow and Last Week Tonight.
Manchester United and Liverpool had a 2-2 draw this morning. United was trailing at halftime. they took a 2-1 lead in the second half. but, of course, they gave away a penalty late for the draw. but, i'll look at this as Liverpool dropped 2 points and will hopefully not win the title this season.
i need to vacuum the house today. i guess that is going to be my mother's wake up alarm since she is still in bed.
i will be doing my laundry tomorrow during the eclipse, so i will be on here sometime during that.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.
