thankfully, i'm not religious...

i found out right before i fell asleep last night that the pope had died. i find it curious that one of the last pieces of shit to see him alive was J.D. Vance. now, i'm not saying one thing killed the other, just saying it is interesting. in a weird way, last night was full of tragedy. be it wrestling, tv shows, reality... damn.

night 2 of WrestleMania was damn near perfect. the show was much better paced than night 1. i liked the matches better. the Joe Hendry surprise was actually a surprise. it was great to see Becky Lynch back. then, the main event started. Cena's win over Cody felt completely anticlimactic. now, i have learned to let everything play out before casting judgement, but this certainly fell flat. and i know in wrestling history, when your main event falls flat, it takes away from the whole show.

The Last of Us last night was shocking, mostly because i didn't know what was coming since i never played the video game.

The Americas last night was the behind the scenes of how they made the show. that was fascinating to watch.

The Righteous Gemstones was hilarious last night. just two episodes left.

Power Book III: Raising Kanan was very good last night.

here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs yesterday:

here are your highlights from the NHL playoffs yesterday:

Manchester United lost yesterday at home to Wolves, 1-0.

the Yankees won 4-0 yesterday against Tampa Bay. i couldn't believe the official scorer took away the no hitter that Max Fried was working on. and i couldn't believe the umpires and the replay booth took away a home run from Aaron Judge that was clearly fair. the Yankees start a series tonight in Cleveland.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

nothing on the DVR tonight. i will be watching Monday Night Raw on Netflix. the Raw after WrestleMania is always a crazy one.

below are your two videos for this day of National Poetry Month:

mom has physical therapy today. i will hopefully write some poems there.

i should be on here tomorrow in the afternoon, most likely.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

i should have known better...

so, i have done my best as i have aged to be more optimistic. yesterday was an example why there will always be a part of me that knows such bullshit is a farce. Ohio State lost yesterday at home to Michigan, 13-10. Ryan Day has now lost 4 straight games to that team. that hasn't happened since the late 80's to early 90's. as i told my mother last night, he'd be lucky if his house wasn't burnt to the ground by this morning. while i do believe Ohio State will make the playoffs, i won't be shocked when they lose in the first round and everyone is fucking fired.

the New York Rangers tried their hardest to fucking lose yesterday but managed to end their losing streak, defeating Montreal at home, 4-3.

the USWNT and England played a 0-0 draw yesterday.

WWE Survivor Series War Games was really good yesterday.

AEW Collision and AEW Rampage was ok last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Somebody Somewhere and two episodes of The Agency.

so, i did get up in time this morning to watch Manchester United absolutely destroy Everton today, 4-0.

the New Orleans Saints play today at home against the Rams. hopefully, the Saints will find a way to win.

a big thank you to everyone for checking out my latest published poems:

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

hot enough for ya...

when i went out to get the mail today, as soon as i went out of the garage i could tell it was fucking hot as hell. i went back inside, put some ice on my back and went to sleep. i actually got a couple of hours. that was very needed.

the Yankees won yesterday at home against Colorado, 10-3. they start a series tonight at the Nationals.

Big Brother was good last night.

Industry was excellent last night.

the winter blues...

it happens being a sports fan sometimes. you'll have teams you love, live and die with, etc., all play on the same day. and on the rare occasion, all of them will win. some days you have a mixed bag. yesterday was a day where that bag becomes a bag of shit.

Manchester United and Young Boys ended up in a 1-1 draw. Ralf took the chance to see a ton of young players play, which i understand. the group was already won and it was a good chance to see what he actually has at the club. i will be very interested to see who United draws for the next round of the Champions League.

the Dayton Flyers lost last night at SMU, 77-69. Dayton shot poorly from the 3 last night and their opponent didn't. end of story. Dayton plays at home on Sunday against Virginia Tech.

the New York Rangers lost to Colorado last night, 7-3.

Vice News Tonight had two interesting shows this week.

The Masked Singer was crazy last night. the season finale is next week.

the season finale of Alter Ego was good last night.

Hard Knocks was excellent last night.

AEW Dynamite was great last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Young Sheldon, United States of Al, B Positive, the season finale of Cake and Desus & Mero. i watched NXT UK this afternoon on Peacock. it was really good.

i have to take mom south of town tomorrow morning to get an injection for her back. i'm really hoping this helps with her pinched sciatic nerve as well. i haven't driven south of town in probably over a year, so it should be interesting. and of course, there is a chance of strong storms tomorrow and possibly a tornado tomorrow night. fuck me.

here are your NBA highlights from last night:

i might watch some of the Vikings vs. Steelers tonight, only because my sister's team is the Steelers.

i will probably be on here tomorrow in the afternoon.

well, i'm officially old now...

when i got home from the eye doctor, all my mother could do was laugh. i was more frustrated than anything. my eye doctor told me that i could keep my glasses the same as he couldn't change them the way they needed to be and make my vision closer way worse. so i told him fuck it, let's go ahead with the bifocals and get my eyes used to them now. i'm under no delusion my vision is going to get better as i get older. now comes the part where i wonder why the fuck did i get eye insurance. i picked out some new eyeglasses and sunglasses and they came up to a little under $800. fuck me. it's obvious all i'm paying for is the name on them. i should get them in about 2 weeks. i'll be 44 by then. joy.

i should have known today was going to be like this. i had 3 shits before 10 AM. the last one being right as i was getting myself wet in the shower. and people wonder why i often dream about dying.

Jeopardy! Greatest of All Time was excellent last night. i'll be watching again tonight.

NXT was really good last night.

AEW was pretty good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Jeopardy! Greatest of All Time, Young Sheldon, The Unicorn, Perfect Harmony and Will & Grace. i already watched NXT UK this afternoon. it was a show hyping their Takeover event this Sunday.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against New Jersey. The Prince is starting again tonight. i really hope the Rangers win again.

i should be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done.

i need to go figure out what we're having for dinner tonight, so that's all for me kids.

the weekend

i didn't sleep well last night. it seems like my inner child has been throwing a fit since i got back from the doctor. at least the little fucker didn't mess with me when i was writing yesterday. i did write another 5 poems yesterday evening. i really like a few of them.

Vice News Tonight was excellent last night. i really think they had a great first week on the air.

NJPW was really good last night.

High Maintenance made me feel really old last night. next week is the season finale.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Saturday Night Live, Austin City Limits and ROH.

Ohio State plays a huge game tonight at Wisconsin. Ohio State has won 19 straight true road games. hopefully they come home with number 20 tonight.

there are a few other college football games i'm going to try to watch today, mostly Alabama vs. Tennessee.

the New York Rangers play their first road game of the season tonight in St. Louis against the Blues. it won't be an easy game.

i have to do some running around this morning/early afternoon. i need to get some more ice packs and go to the grocery store to get pick up some prescriptions. and i probably should feed the birds today.

if i can find a spare moment this afternoon, i'm going to try to do a quick Soundcloud recording. if that doesn't happen this afternoon, i'll probably do it in the middle of the night.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money.

nothing good comes from a phone call before the sun comes up

so my aunt called here before 6 this morning. i picked up on the second ring, basically still asleep. she said that my uncle had fallen and that so and so were on their way. one of so and so happen to be the cousin that molested me, so you can imagine my joy at the moment. i woke up my mother and gave her the news. i don't think either of us got more than 3 hours sleep before the phone rang this morning. my uncle is in the hospital with a touch of pneumonia. good times.

yesterday was the kind of day that i wonder if i wouldn't be a sports fan... let's say if i was a scientist and hated sports or an artist who had no need for competition, would my life be any better? to witness 3 teams you live and die with lose in a single day, it's more or less taking another week or so off your life. at least two of them were on television, the other i got to stomach in person.

much as i thought they would, Manchester United lost 2-1 to Bournemouth yesterday. what truly pissed me off about the game was how disinterested the "veteran" players were on the pitch. United had to play a ton of kids yesterday and you can see that they all try and give a shit, but the older guys were more like fuck this, just give me my check. and i really wish the board would call LVG's bluff. he said he would resign if he lost the team in the dressing room. someone please ask him when he's going to resign then. if he refuses, just pay him the fuck off and give the job to Giggs. tell Ryan he has the rest of the season to get the club a trophy or finish in the top 4 for next season's Champions League. if he can't do that, then you can go pick the best manager available; Pep, Ancelotti, whoever. sitting and watching United play these days is becoming a task. and it was never that under Sir Alex. sure they gave up more goals, but they certainly scored more and were about 10000000000000% more entertaining to watch.

the Dayton Flyers did exactly what i feared they would do yesterday. Chattanooga was without their best player (who led them in points, rebounds and assists). Dayton played down to them and allowed them to outplay them. when you lose the battle of the boards at home to a smaller team, that's unacceptable. when you miss 12 fucking free throws in a game you lose 61-59, that's unacceptable. but hopefully it's the wake up call this team needs. and hopefully Chattanooga has a great season so this won't be a bad loss come tournament selection time.

after the game we picked up some food and made it back home in time for the puck drop of the New York Rangers vs. Calgary Flames. for some fucking reason, the Rangers best d-men are making fucking mistakes they never make. and it is costing the team dearly as i don't know how any goalie is supposed to stop point blank shots time after time. and what really frustrates me is this team has stopped using the K.I.S.S. theory to get shit done. when they had their nice long winning streak it was built on keep it simple stupid. at least they got a point last night, losing in OT 5-4. 1 damn point on the same trip they got 6 points out of last season. good times.

thankfully, the Showtime comedy special of Jermaine Fowler and ROH was excellent last night. as for Saturday Night Live, it was more hit or miss for me. next week's SNL should be great.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Homeland and The Affair. i will be watching the TLC ppv on WWE Network and then the Stone Cold podcast afterwards with HBK.

there is supposed to be cold front come through this evening. i believe i am feeling it already.

the New Orleans Saints play at Tampa Bay this afternoon. maybe that is when i'll take my nap.

i need to get all my fantasy football and hockey shit in order before i take that nap.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

the squirrels are at it again

so i watched the squirrels destroy the sunflowers today and break a feeder that had suet in it that they don't even like. i guess tomorrow i load the shotgun.

today was one of those days where i felt like i was constantly having some kind of pain. so, as you might imagine, i've been a moody fuck for most of the day.

Monday Night Raw could have been much MUCH better than it was last night. if the geniuses would have had either Cesaro or Kevin Owens facing Seth Rollins in the main event, maybe something like this wouldn't have happened:
i guess Vince will never tire of seeing the same fucking matches over and over again. thank god there was other shit on so i didn't have to watch all of it.

the Chris Farley documentary was funny at times and so fucking sad at times. having lived through that time when he was a gigantic star, it really didn't cover much of what i didn't already know. i feel like i got a good amount of my sense of humor from Chris. mostly the physical and being able to be the butt of the joke. of course, i also have the low self esteem problem that Chris had as well. i have no intention of drinking myself to death anytime soon. though, as i get older, i'm slowly realizing i should have ended all this madness years ago.

Men in Blazers was pretty fucking funny last night. it's good to have the Premier League back.

time for some music kids:

now laugh:

the New York Yankees play in Cleveland tonight. hopefully they start to win again.

the DVR will be busy tonight. WWE Tough Enough, Total Divas, Tyrant, Deadliest Catch and Hard Knocks are all on tonight. looks like it will be another long night.

mom has group tonight, so i'll be home alone for a few hours. just enough time to pick up the trash and put away the dishes. and maybe sneak a look or two at some porn.

i got my gnome with a machine gun today from Amazon.com. i haven't decided where i'm going to put it. maybe i'll put a shelf near the front door so it can be seen every time it opens. good times.

that's all for me kids. it's still hard for me to believe that Robin Williams has been gone for a year now. i could just imagine what he would say about this:

hope everyone still has a pulse. i have a computer to reboot and trash to pick up. hopefully all done before the Yankees give up any runs.

some things never change

the weather is still dreary, but it is warmer today. my good friend humidity is back. i was in so much pain last night i actually had to break out some liquor to be able to type the two poems i wrote yesterday. the poems are really good. and the liquor helped me get about 5 hours of sleep. all in all, just doing what my mantra says, find the pleasure in the pain.

so, there was an email from Rose this morning with her picture. that made me happy. we emailed back and forth this morning. and then of course, life happens. she tells me her internet is getting disconnected and needs money so that won't happen. this shit happens EVERY FUCKING TIME a woman starts to communicate with me regularly on the internet. it's fucking amazing. what the fuck about me screams i have money. is it the 7 month beard? is it the name brand sweatpants i wear out in public? is it the t-shirt with holes in it? as i explained to Rose, who i am guessing i won't hear from again, poets only make money when they die. and i'm not nearly as close to death as some people wish.

enjoy a little musical break:

the New York Yankees can't do anything easy it seems. they got two players back from injury last night. had a nice cushy lead in the 9th. and then it becomes a nail biter. thankfully, the Yankees won 5-4:

wrestling last night was ok. i did watch a little of ROH again. hopefully one day they change the order and have the new show on Wednesday and the rebroadcast of it on the weekend instead of how they have it now. NXT started off good but really became more of a clip show showing the title change in Japan. Lucha Underground once again stole the night for me. when you end a crazy show with one of the announcers about to get set on fire, you certainly have my attention. Ultima Lucha looks like it is going to be fucking awesome.

here is some funny/informative/drinking shit, hope you enjoy:

the Yankees play this afternoon. hopefully they get the win so they win the series. on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother and the returning Lip Sync Battle.

Big Brother was mostly just filler last night. tonight's live show could have some fireworks, but i doubt it.

mom had to drive up to Troy this morning. she said she felt good enough to go alone, so i'm hoping it goes good. the rain and all the distracted assholes driving have me worried. but, i figure i'll hear the garage door sometime during the baseball game.

hope everyone enjoyed another slice of shit from my life. if anyone ever has any suggestions for the blog or something you'd like to see more of on this blog, feel free to email me at anytime.

i've got a wrestling podcast to listen to and a game to watch.

following a day of misery

i spent most of yesterday laying in bed. my body was aching all over it seemed and i was just overall, in pure fucking misery. not even a futile attempt at masturbation could lift my spirits. thankfully, the pain started to lighten up later in the day and evening. and it figures, yesterday the sun was out for probably 90% of the day.

the New York Yankees had their asses handed to them yesterday, 12-4. that didn't help my mood much either. they had a few kids make their major league debuts yesterday. let's just say that was like pouring gasoline on a burning fire. they play the Phillies tonight. hopefully they can get back to winning, as they are only 1 game out of first place in the division.

i did watch a ton of soccer yesterday. between the Women's World Cup and the Copa America, there was plenty to choose from.

dinner last night was a little better than horrific. i made some hot dogs in crescent rolls. a true sophisticated white trash meal. the problem was the rolls were garlic butter rolls. with just cheese and pepperoni, not too bad. with the hot dogs, like puke on a stick. i'll have to file that one in the back of my mind.

enjoy some music before we get to the television of last night:

let's start off with the Showtime shows. Nurse Jackie was excellent. next week is the series finale and it looks like it should be a memorable one. Happyish was great once again. i always appreciate when a show tries to find the humor on suicide. Penny Dreadful was spectacular last night. the ending was one of the biggest oh fuck me endings of all-time. credits right as a fight is getting ready to start. needless to say, i will be super fucking ready for the next episode.

True Detective last night started off with a Leonard Cohen song as the main title credits rolled. that made me smile. there were definitely a few layers revealed in the first episode. i don't know if it will be as good as the first season, but it's surely something i will be able to sink my teeth into. Ballers was what it was. being a sports fan, i will enjoy it. sports stars and tits, what's there not to like. i'm sure most critics will hate it. The Brink made me fucking laugh. i guess it helps that i'm a fan of Tim Robbins and Jack Black. both of them were great. Last Week Tonight was excellent as always:

tonight is going to be a crowded one for me on television. team USA takes on Colombia in the Women's World Cup. at the same time, the Yankees will be playing. and not long after that, Monday Night Raw will be coming on. there will be some serious channel flipping going on as i refuse to put sports on the DVR. hopefully i will be ending the night with a few victory beers.

i got some FREE music on NoiseTrade today. i'll pass along the link below in the music section.

waiting on a cold front

the rain that was supposed to come yesterday never did. so, the day of agony now becomes another day of agony. it was so hot and humid yesterday, i think both mom and i without saying it to each other, just said fuck it and spent the day in the air conditioning. so, the shit we needed to get done yesterday will have to get done later today. so, that means trips to 3 stores and hopefully i will be back in time to watch the USA women play in the World Cup.

the Yankees won again yesterday, sweeping the Angels 6-2. they are off today. they start a series with the Nationals tomorrow night at home. today happens to be the baseball draft. the Yankees have their highest pick in years. hopefully they get someone who will make an impact soon.

i did watch some of the NBA Finals last night. i have to agree with what Kenny Smith said after the game. LeBron has done more with less than any other player in league history. Cleveland won last night in OT, 95-93. that takes the home court advantage away from Golden State. 3 wins away to witnessing a living deity:

the Sunday night shows were excellent last night. Nurse Jackie was really good. Happyish was excellent. Penny Dreadful had some crazy ass imagery that was awesome. one of the best shows on television by a mile. Silicon Valley was funny. Veep was a little twisted and dry, some good old uncomfortable humor. finally, Last Week Tonight delivered another home run:

i had a hard time falling asleep last night. i thought the bottle of rum i finished off would have put me to sleep. i didn't feel the need to write last night. it was more a few hours of thought. of course, 4 hours later i was up.

a quick music break before we get to today:

after mom gets done with her shower, it's off to the stores. got some shit to return, some shit to buy, and some free birthday shit to pick up as well. we also have to get gas. if all goes well, i'll be back here in time to watch team USA play.

i'm not a big follower of women's soccer but i do support my country in these world events. so, hopefully the ladies can get the job done this time around. they are in the group of death. i figure every American team for the next century will be in the group of death for bringing down FIFA.

after that, it will be time to watch Monday Night Raw. hopefully they have a good show going into the pay per view on Sunday. it's in Columbus. i'm holding out hope i can score some tickets to it. i haven't been to a wrestling show in years.

i figure after some of the late night shows, and hopefully after the cold front has moved through here, i can get some sleep and be (relatively) pain free.

that's all for me today. hopefully the freaks are out today and i have something to write about after my adventure into public today.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

had a lovely conversation with the muse last night for about 35 minutes. the problem is the phone call lasted for 45 minutes. but let me rewind the tape here as i have some venting to do. i sent the muse a poem about her that is going to get published here in the summer, as she asked me to do. she read it and said it was a little heartbreaking. i said the truth always is. the problem she had was she never remembers me telling her that i was in love with her. i was crushed. i think i may have only told her a few hundred times over the last 10 years or so. so, after the 35 minutes of her telling me about her life on the west coast, she asks about mine. this is rare as most of our conversations are purely about her and nothing else. so i tell her about the farm, my mother, my father, etc, and the only thing she asks is how much i would be getting from the farm auction. this immediately reminded me of my father as he lived his life solely worried about money and nothing else. after a little back and forth, she asks me if she was always going to be single. i told her that once compromise enters her vocabulary, she'll be fine. and i told her i wasn't speaking about compromise in the way of you changing your morals or beliefs, but more of being tolerant of what others believe. you would have thought i called her a cunt. after she goes on and on about she tried this shit before and never again, the asshole in me had to speak up. so i told her to enjoy being single and miserable. she then calls me an asshole and tells me this is why she never believed me when i said i loved her. this quickly pissed me off as she earlier said she never could remember me telling her that. being the gentleman i am, i thanked her for wasting 45 minutes of my life and hung up on her. so, what i now ask of you, readers, fans, friends, general public, strangers, who the fuck ever... if i EVER speak of the muse again in terms that aren't poetic in nature, you have my PERMISSION to find me, put a gun in my mouth and blow my fucking brains out. i will not allow that CUNT to ruin another day of my life.

the New York Yankees lost yesterday 8-2. i wasn't surprised given the pitching matchup. they play again tonight on ESPN. i'll gladly miss most of that.

needless to say, i didn't sleep good last night. so i was really hoping Manchester United was going to change my vibe for the day. unfortunately, they made it worse. they played like absolute SHIT for the entire 90 minutes. a 3-0 loss at Everton. they are still in 4th, but they need to finish in the top 3 to avoid a playoff for the Champions League. i'm hoping this was just one of those days.

so, in my anger, i decided to put all my music in alphabetical order. nothing like have around a thousand cd's on my bed. took me 3 1/2 hours to get it all done. later this week, i'll do the same with my books. good times.

the WWE is having the Extreme Rules ppv tonight. since i have the WWE Network now, i'm planning on watching it. that means, on the DVR tonight will be Nurse Jackie, Happyish, Silicon Valley, Veep and Last Week Tonight. either the wrestling is going to be so good that i'm in a really good mood and watch a few of those shows before i go to sleep or the wrestling is going to suck and i'm going to watch them all as i'm slowly drinking myself to death.

here's a little music to change the mood:

took mom over to the farm today. she's been letting the family come over and take shit before the auction company decides what they want to auction. of course, mom forgot to make sure she got what she wanted first. i will get to listen to her bitch about this for years to come i imagine. i fed the cats while i was over there. looks like we may be down to 15 cats now. that's all i have seen the last few times over there.

i'm going to get in the shower now (enjoy that visual) and give these old bones a good soaking. i'm in pain from head to toe at the moment. these are the days where i'm certainly yearning for the relief that death will bring.

hope everyone is having a great weekend. i was able to vacuum the house and take out the trash without falling down, so life certainly must be good.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

surviving the cold on little sleep

i think what i have figured out in the first 20 or so days of my 39th year on this planet is i'm going to try to live the rest of my life in sweatpants. at least that's the thought for these winter nights where it gets below zero.

i got to watch most of what i wanted to see last night. i took a couple of naps along the way and it somehow worked.

i didn't watch much of the NBA All-Star game at all. judging from the highlights, i made the right decision.

the Saturday Night Live 40th reunion was fucking amazing. i put a ton of the videos on my Google+ page, but here is a couple of the moments i LOVED:

i could probably post a few more. if you're interested, go to my Google+ page, go to YouTube, go anywhere on the internet and you'll find something. given the age i am and my love of comedy, Saturday Night Live has meant a ton to me. and since i have lived a life that has had many a Saturday night home alone, i always could use a good laugh. it was amazing to see all the people they brought back last night. certainly a show i will remember for a long time.

after that was over, i put my plan into action to watch as much as i could stay awake for. after the late local news, i started off with House of Lies. great episode that had a very interesting ending. Episodes was pretty funny. Total Divas was really good. it certainly shed some light on a few things i didn't know. Last Week Tonight was great. here's a clip from that:

then the old man in me tapped out. that wasn't the plan but i woke back up in time to watch Shameless. what a fucking great episode. the acting this season has been spectacular. after that, i caught Girls (good episode) and Togetherness (which had me openly questioning if i am at a point in my life where i am incapable of actually having fun anymore). what a lovely thought to have at 6 in the morning. so, the only thing i have to watch tonight that i missed on Sunday will be The Jinx.

so, for my usual clusterfuck Monday, i'll go from the New York Rangers game with the Islanders to Gotham. after that will be The Jinx and then i'll either flip back to some hockey (if the Rangers are winning) or over to Monday Night Raw.

before all that, i'll be watching Manchester United later today in FA Cup action. i'm expecting them to struggle today since that is how they have been playing here lately. there are some injury concerns so i have no clue who is going to play today. i'm hoping i will be enjoying a victory beer later tonight.

it's starting to snow here. we are supposed to get a few inches. i'm expecting more since these fucks are never right about the weather anymore. but, i better get out there and feed the cats before it gets too bad.

i hope everyone had a great weekend. if we get a ton of snow, i'll try to get some pictures. might be my last snowy day on the farm, who knows.

thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

Super Bowl Sunday

in yet another sign of me becoming an old fuck, i fell asleep last night before the opening of Saturday Night Live was even over. when i woke up at 5 in the morning, i was aching beyond belief. fucking weather. i did manage to get back to sleep. so most of this morning has been catching up on what i missed last night.

this one skit from Saturday Night Live did make me laugh my ass off this morning:

i just watched the episode of ROH i missed last night. the triple threat match was really good.

this will be a quick one as the Dayton Flyers play here in a few minutes. we could have gone to the game but mom is a little under the weather and my arthritis is killing me. so, hopefully i get to watch them win today from my chair.

the rain/snow line went WAY farther north than any of these fucks on tv thought it would. so, we got a little ice and nothing else. all the major snow is about 100 miles from me. good times.

the New York Rangers found some offense last night and won 4-1. i could have gone without the injury scare to The King. that was a little fucking frightening. thankfully, he was able to stay in the game. here are some highlights from the win:

today is the Super Bowl. i've picked Seattle to win a close one. as a New Orleans Saints fan, i really don't give a shit about the game. hopefully the commercials are good.

Showtime for some fucking reason is airing their shows tonight. so, after the game i will be watching Shameless, House of Lies, and Episodes. i figure i'll be watching some of the shit NBC has after the game as well.

i will be on here sometime tomorrow. i hope everyone enjoys their Sunday. if you are having a party, i hope you have a good one. and if you are betting today, i hope you have a few winners.

thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.
