 when i went out to get the mail today, as soon as i went out of the garage i could tell it was fucking hot as hell. i went back inside, put some ice on my back and went to sleep. i actually got a couple of hours. that was very needed.

the Yankees won yesterday at home against Colorado, 10-3. they start a series tonight at the Nationals. 

Big Brother was good last night.

Industry was excellent last night.

 as many of you know by now, i hate having arthritis. and on days like these, i feel like i am just dragging. but, when you get so fucking used to pain, it always just seems like you are going through the motions. good times.

i did write 4 poems yesterday while mom was in physical therapy. i typed those up and i think they are pretty good. i need to write some more so i can get another batch of poems out to the world.

the Yankees start a series tonight at the Mets. given that Judge and Alonso aren't playing in these games, it takes a bit of the luster off.

Game 5 of the Stanley Cup final is tonight. Las Vegas is up 3-1 and will have a chance to win the cup at home.

i got an appointment for tomorrow afternoon to take the Highlander in. the air keeps going down in that left rear tire, so i know there is a hole somewhere in it. hopefully, they can just patch it. i don't want to go through the circus of getting a new tire again, unless they actually have one there this time.

so, the plan i suppose is to get some of the grocery shopping done before i have to take the Highlander in. and then, fingers crossed, i can get the rest of the shopping done after the appointment.

the New York Rangers finally hired a new coach. i'm not exactly thrilled, but i do trust Chris Drury. so, time will tell.

i need to get the trash picked up and figure out dinner tonight. so, that's all for me kids.

i will be on here tomorrow sometime after the circus is over. i'm preparing for the worst so that hopefully everything goes smoothly tomorrow.

 so, i got up this morning, made some breakfast for myself and was all ready for the Manchester United game. sadly, i don't think many of the players were. United lost to Brighton, 2-1. not exactly how i was hoping for the ETH era to begin. of course, i was thinking that the ownership and the board was going to be all in on just how much the club needed to change. silly me. hopefully, the board saw today that they still need tons of improvement in all areas of the club. and if they don't get it done in this transfer window, it is going to be a long ass season.

the Yankees lost last night to the Cardinals, 1-0. hard to win when all you get is two fucking singles for the entire fucking game. hopefully, they will end this fucking losing streak this afternoon.

AEW Battle of the Belts 3 was really good last night.

mom wanted pizza last night, so i ordered some Pizza Hut. it went much better than the last time.

the humidity actually broke for a bit...

 i went out this morning to pull weeds and feed the birds. it actually felt pretty good out there for a change. the humidity wasn't stifling. of course, it was also before 8 AM. so, between doing all that and watering the tomato plants, my back was screaming by late morning. while icing it down, i decided to binge the rest of season 2 of We Hunt Together. i think it was pretty good and clearly, they wrote the finale hoping there would be a season 3.

the Yankees lost last night in Boston, 6-5 in 10 innings. hopefully, they will win the series tonight.
