i do love that today happens to be 4/20 and Easter. they go hand in hand most of the time.
night 1 of WrestleMania was good. a few surprises, probably nothing bigger than what happened in the pre-show. WWE has purchased the Mexican promotion AAA. that floored me. i have always been a fan of lucha libre and can only hope that the WWE machine will make it even bigger. as for the matches, i love that Jey Uso won the title. the Paul Heyman double backstab to end up with Seth Rollins was very good. hopefully, it will be even better tonight.
earlier in the day, NXT Stand & Deliver was really good.
here are your highlights from the NHL playoffs last night:

i'm sure i will watch some of the NBA and NHL playoffs today.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.

the next to last email i had of the 370 i had to check last night before i tried to fall asleep, was an email from Ancestry.com. so, in that email, it let me know i had a new match on the site, and it just happened to be the cousin that molested me as a child. fuck me. no matter how much i feel like i have moved on, dealt with, been through and continued to live, etc. it almost seems like the universe is letting me know... no matter what, this is going to haunt you until the day you take your own life. exactly what i wanted to be on my mind right before bed. good times.
the New York Yankees got swept last night at the Angels, 7-3. that means they went 1-6 on a very winnable road trip out of the All Star break. joy. they start a series at home tomorrow night against the Royals.
i did see some of the highlights of the MLS All Star game last night.
AEW Dynamite was very good last night.

and by hate, i mean it curdles my fucking blood and drives me insane. so, you can imagine what i felt when Manchester United lost today, 2-1. i knew it was going to be a tough game, mostly because United had no choice but to change 10 players from the last lineup. they have a little game on Thursday against Liverpool. so, i figured Leicester was going to run the game for the most part. when United scored 5 minutes after Leicester scored, i was hoping i would be wrong. it was pretty even at the start of the second half and then United's manager forgot one of the most basic rules of the game. you never make fucking substitutions on a corner kick. he did and sure enough, there goes the second goal. now, in the grand scheme of things, i am pissed that this means Manchester City wins the title. of course, that was going to happen regardless. as long as United wins on Thursday, in the long run, the loss might be a good thing. mostly because it means Liverpool might not play any European football next season at all. that would be fucking glorious.
The Voice was pretty good last night. i love the live shows. i have no clue who gets cut tonight.
Monday Night Raw was good last night, but didn't exactly make me really yearn for Backlash this weekend.
Miz and Mrs was hilarious last night.
enjoy some music:

those poems i wrote last night were some of the most powerful political shit i have written in years. i really hope they get published somewhere one day.
kudos to the asshole that runs the country. you have made sure those with a gun believe the news media are on the same level as the protestors. this is how democracy dies and a country begins its devolution into a third world country. no wonder the rich are trying to figure out if they can live in space.
ROH was really good last night.
i ended up watching this concert last night on YouTube for the Colorado Music Relief Fund. it was a nice diversion from everything else going on in the world.
my stubborn mother has gone to the bathroom 6 times this morning. i told maybe it's time to get tested for everything to see what is really going on. she brushed that off. so, now i get to see how much of an asshole i have to be today so she gets a little urgency about the situation. joy.
enjoy some music:

i will probably watch some of the NASCAR race today.
i hope everyone had a good Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.
i'll be on here tomorrow after a trip to the bank. i may have to get mom a new lamp for her desk tomorrow as well. the piece to turn on the lamp broke off and her arthritis is such that she can't turn it on without that. and i don't think she wants to call me into her room everytime she wants the lamp on.

i watched a good portion of the national championship game last night between LSU and Clemson. now, i do believe it would have been a better game if Ohio State would have been there, but i am happy for Joe Burrow winning the whole damn thing. i think it's pretty obvious the Bengals will take him with the number 1 pick in the NFL draft. LSU ended Clemson's winning streak, winning last night 42-25.
Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.
the New York Rangers defeated the Islanders last night, 6-2. that made me pretty damn happy.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time and WWE Backstage.
i'll be at the Dayton Flyers game tonight at home against VCU. the game is on CBS Sports Network at 8 PM. i'm hoping Dayton, now ranked #13 in the country, can end their 4 game losing streak to VCU tonight.
i have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. i believe its for my results from my upper g.i. scan. and i'm sure my liver numbers still aren't good, mostly because i refuse to stop drinking. i'm sure we'll probably go over my blood tests from last month as well.
when i get home from that, i'll have a light late lunch and then get the trash done. after that, i'll be off to the game. hopefully, i will get a much better parking spot tonight than i did this past weekend.
i'm going to try to be on here tomorrow before Manchester United plays in the FA Cup. if not, here is a preview of the game:

i did write 4 poems today while in the waiting room. i'm really hoping that the injections help mom. i made her use her walker today. the nurse told me afterwards to really pay attention to her, she was making the nurse nervous. oh great.
i sent out 11 poems today, 3 each to The Beatnik Cowboy and Rusty Truck; 5 to Horror Sleaze Trash. when i hear back from these places, i will pass along the verdicts.

WrestleMania was just under 7 1/2 hours long last night. now, the good thing was it really didn't feel that long. the pace of the show was really good. most of the matches went how i wanted them to go. the best match of the night was Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan. that will go down as one of the best WrestleMania moments in history. the women's main event was good, although i would have loved to see a conclusive finish. but, i do understand having a little controversy to keep the feud alive. that being said, Becky Lynch winning both titles was the right call. and thank god, Seth Rollins beat Brock Lesnar and now the Universal title will be on Monday Night Raw every week. the Raw after Mania is always crazy, so i can't wait to see what happens tonight.
the New York Yankees whipped Baltimore yesterday, 15-3. the sweep of the Orioles puts them over .500 for the first time since opening day. they start a series tonight in Houston.
Barry was really good last night.
Veep was hilarious last night.
Last Week Tonight was brilliant as usual.
Billions was very good last night.
The Chi was fucking great last night.

the national championship game is on tonight. Texas Tech takes on Virginia. i'll probably watch some of the game.
i got in a good nap this afternoon. i didn't get to bed until 4 in the morning. i had to be up at 8 because mom had the guy that checks the house for bugs coming. of course, i could have slept for 2 more hours before he arrived.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after a trip to the grocery store to pick up pills.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.

so, it did cold as hell, sort of, and there was a little snow overnight. none of it stuck anywhere, but there were some snowflakes in the air this morning when i was picking up our trash can. obviously, the wind didn't die down like the news said it would.
i did send out 29 poems this morning. 10 to Dodging The Rain (already rejected), 6 to Record Magazine, 5 each to The Dope Fiend Daily and Synchronized Chaos and 3 poems to Nine Muses Poetry. when i get back the verdicts on the submissions, i will pass them along.
the New York Rangers lost last night, 4-2 in Las Vegas. they played a little better last night, but not nearly well enough to win.
i thought Smackdown was really good last night.

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Masked Singer and You're The Worst. i'll watch NXT, NXT UK and 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.
the Dayton Flyers play tonight at George Washington. Dayton hasn't won there since 2009. a victory tonight would almost make believe that they have a chance to win the A10 this year. i'll have to listen to the game tonight as i don't have the ESPN+ package.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

i woke up this morning from the threat of yet another cramp in my left leg. i told my mother i think maybe it's my inner child fucking with me, waking me up to go piss. joy.
i did send out 10 poems today. 5 each to The Hitchlit Review and Jotters United Lit Zine. i have never sent to either before, so i'm interested to see what the responses will be. when i get the verdicts back, i will pass them on.
i had to go back to the grocery store today. i had more pills to pick up, plus some items i forgot to get for mom yesterday. i told her i completely forgot because i didn't write them down on the list. thankfully, the rain wasn't as bad this morning as it was yesterday.
when i got home from the grocery store, the muse was calling me. for some reason, she likes to call me when she is driving. it's fucking hilarious at times, as she will provide a running commentary of all the fucking stupid drivers out there.
NJPW was pretty good last night.
Real Time with Bill Maher was hilarious last night.

i sent out 31 poems this morning. thankfully, my new mouse worked great, so i didn't have to do much typing. with the rain in the area, that was nearly fucking perfect. i sent 3 poems each to Mad Swirl and The Beatnik Cowboy; 5 each to Horror Sleaze Trash (3 already published), Alien Buddha Press, Academy Of The Heart And Mind, Otoliths and Synchronized Chaos (already accepted for publication). when i hear back from these places, i will pass along the verdicts.
i was up late because the New York Yankees won in Oakland last night, 5-1. they saved all of their offense for late in the game. but, it was a victory they really needed. hopefully, they will win the series tonight.
Smackdown was pretty good last night.
205 Live was really good last night.
Fuck That's Delicious was hilarious last night.

besides doing all the poetry work today, i've been helping mom reorganize her closet. she's not able to lift anything above her head. so, i've been putting all the boxes she wants up on the top shelf for her.
i know at some point we need to go down to Best Buy and get a new television. that might happen tomorrow, or it might have to wait for the weekend when my sister is here for her birthday.
i don't think they have picked up the trash yet today. i'm guessing they are waiting for it to start raining for that to happen. the fuckers.
today, i truly have felt like one of my favorite lines from my mother... busier than 9 cats covering up shit in a windstorm.
i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. i know mom has a phone call with some kind of nurse tomorrow that i think she wants me to sit in on. i'm hoping that's not too early in the morning.

i had a little writing session last night around 3 in the morning. i went to some pretty dark places while writing. i got 6 poems out of it and somewhere around 6 hours of sleep. i believe i will call that a catharsis. i typed those poems up this afternoon after i got home from the grocery store. the poems are really good. if i get a wild hair up my ass i will try to do some poetry submissions this weekend.
i went 13-3 in the tournament yesterday. of course, 2 of those losses were teams i had in the Sweet 16 and Final Four (fuck you Arizona). oh well.

i did go to the basketball game last night. i basically went to see the halftime act, Red Panda. i figured Dayton would lose to Davidson. well, well, well... Dayton started off much better than i expected. i thought it was going to be a great night as the asshole that normally sits next to me wasn't there by the first tv timeout. and just as i got happy, i saw the motherfucker walking with his beer up the steps. fuck me. Dayton was leading at halftime. the second half was a game of runs. sadly, i think Dayton's coach had them playing not to lose instead of trying to teach them the urgency of now. somehow Dayton got a little lucky and somehow survived a last second shot by Davidson. the shot actually should have never happened as Dayton still had 2 fouls to give. that would have eaten up the 3 seconds left rather easily. for some reason, i doubt the Dayton coach even mentioned that to his players. Dayton won 65-64. they play Saturday on the road against Saint Louis.
Smackdown was pretty good last night.
205 Live was pretty interesting last night. i'm really intrigued to see who they pick to be the GM of the show. i figure it will be a big name. that should help clean up the Enzo mess.
Mosaic was excellent last night. i can't wait to see what happens tonight.
Hate Thy Neighbor was as crazy as i expected it to be last night. i never understand why people disguise their hate as the word of god.
Baskets was pretty funny last night.
the New York Rangers lost yet again last night out in Anaheim, 6-3. they play tomorrow night in San Jose, hoping to not make it a completely fucking worthless road trip.

it's been somewhat rainy/snowy all fucking day. i fucking can't stand these dreary winter days.
mom has an eye appointment tomorrow afternoon. so it looks like i'm going to be driving her around for most of the day. physical therapy in the morning. eye appointment in the afternoon. pick up pills after that. i suppose i will try to squeeze in a blog after all that. i guess i probably should take a shower tonight.
and part of me thinks i should get the damn grocery shopping done tomorrow. but, it's also supposed to be 50 fucking degrees on Friday, so i might wait.

i just love how the news makes a big deal of turning your clocks back a hour. even when i was a child, i never got any extra sleep because of that. it was just an extra hour to be fucking bored. i just have to make sure i set the clocks before my old ass falls asleep tonight. i've got a busy Sunday morning, but that's for tomorrow...
i am looking forward to seeing the Dayton Flyers play tonight at UD Arena. mom is planning on going, so that should be interesting. she missed all of last season. i figure the team will be playing a completely different style. if it is like the VCU teams that Anthony Grant coached, i will enjoy it. when i played basketball, we pressed constantly, trapped, always looked to turn defense into offense. it makes the game so much easier to play. i'm sure Coach Grant will have some nerves tonight given he graduated from Dayton. they are playing Ohio Dominican, so i'm really hoping for a blowout in this exhibition game.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows. i never knew Scrabble was so fucking popular in Nigeria.
NJPW was excellent last night.
Mike Judge Presents: Tales from the Tour Bus was part 2 of Waylon Jennings last night. i laughed my ass off once again.
Real Time with Bill Maher was really good last night.

the New York Rangers will look to continue their winning streak tonight at the Florida Panthers. i'll miss most of the game while i'm at the basketball game.
Ohio State plays at Iowa this afternoon. this has trap game written all over it. hopefully that's not the case.
i'll be on here tomorrow (hopefully) in the morning, before Manchester United takes on Chelsea. that game will go right into the New Orleans Saints game. so i guess i'll be using my extra hour to do the blog.
