WrestleMania 41 is this weekend. since i have seen every WrestleMania, i don't plan on ending that streak anytime soon. so, plenty of the next few blogs will have enough wrestling talk to drive you mad. i totally get it if you skip all that to find the other stuff. but, if you are interested in it, enjoy.
before i get to any of that, here are your videos for this day of National Poetry Month:
Smackdown was excellent last night.
the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony was good last night. it was long as fuck, but i figured it would be.
the Yankees won last night against Tampa Bay, 1-0. hopefully, they will win again this afternoon.
Real Time with Bill Maher was hilarious last night.
i did catch some of the NBA playoffs last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
nothing on the DVR tonight.
the NHL and NBA playoffs really get going today.
i do plan on watching NXT Stand & Deliver this afternoon. that should go right into night 1 of WrestleMania.
i will be on here tomorrow in the morning, before Manchester United plays Wolves at home.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday.
until tomorrow kids...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
before i get into how today went, let me rewind to when i was finishing the blog yesterday. that was when i got the news of Pete Rose dying. i have a ton of Pete Rose memorabilia, baseball cards, autographs, etc. needless to say, the news of his death was like a punch to my dick. growing up in this area and loving baseball, i think nearly every father told their kid to play like Charlie Hustle. one thing the death did was make me feel old. it also reminded me of how much my father liked him. and the asshole in me quickly wondered how much that 1964 Kahn's baseball card could now be worth.
i did take mom to her appointment with her dermatologist today. she was going back to see if the spots they treated before were gone. her lip was fine, she had one spot on her head that she scratched at (as usual). then, the doctor started to look at mom's arms and hands. they froze 7 spots that she called pre-cancerous. as if i needed more fucking stress in my life.
we then went to Kroger. mom wanted to go in and pay for her own pills. she admitted to me that she doesn't have the money to pay me back. fun times.
Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.
The Voice was good last night.
i did watch a little of the NFL games last night.
the New York Rangers lost last night at New Jersey, 3-1. both teams play again tonight at MSG.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be NXT and Deadliest Catch.
the baseball playoffs started today.
a big thank you to everyone that checked out my latest published poems:
so, i woke up this morning after a somewhat decent night of sleep and as soon as i started getting out of bed, i heard my back pop. my first thought was i guess the weed gummy has worn off. i do think that was the reason i slept well at least. so, for the last 10 hours or so, i have been stretching my back and icing and feeling like shit. joy.
the Yankees spilt their doubleheader yesterday at home against the Angels. they won game 1, 5-2. they lost game 2, 8-2. hopefully, they will win tonight.
Big Brother was really good last night. i have no clue who gets evicted tonight.
AEW Dynamite was good last night.
some of the baseball cards i ordered showed up today. i got the first 2024 cards i have been able to order this year. i was hoping for some better rookies... the packs i got from Golden Lion Sports Cards were excellent. the Kirby Puckett rookie card was a nice shock.
i did catch some of the Olympics today. the USA men's basketball team had a huge comeback to defeat Serbia today, 95-91. they will play France for the gold medal.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, Don't Forget the Lyrics and NJPW.
depending on how my back feels tomorrow, that will determine if i actually go to Menards like i need to or not.
so, i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
i need to go make dinner, so that's all for me kids...
until we meet again...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
so, i just watched the Manchester United game in Italy. it finished 2-2 against Atalanta. now, usually a point on the road in the Champions League is cherished. i just sat through watching Varane get hurt, De Gea blowing an easy save and CR7 rescuing the team twice. and i had to watch it in Spanish. i suppose i should have done what my mother did, and go to sleep.
her doctor appointment today went well until she heard what time her surgery will be for her skin cancer. 7:30 AM. yesterday was hard enough having her up early to get to the doctor at 10. i'm not sure these people understand that these days are killing me faster than i can even do it to myself.
and since it is going to get down to 28 fucking degrees tonight, i had to turn on the furnace. welcome to winter.
the Dayton Flyers won last night over Cedarville, 94-60. they certainly look like a team that can score this season. i also like how they rebounded the ball. they have a few players that can really be a pest on defense. team defense was a bit of a problem at times. the transfer from Georgia is a fucking stud. the guy that really shocked me was the transfer from DePaul. Kobe Elvis looked really smooth at the point guard position. the real games start in a week. the digital ticketing process went pretty smooth. thankfully, i have an iPhone, so i didn't have any problems that the android people had.
by the time i got home last night, i was dead tired. i had some dinner, watched some tv, and i'm pretty sure i fell asleep soon after.
The Voice was good last night. the live shows start next week. tonight will be the recap of everyone that has made it to the live shows.
Monday Night Raw was really good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, NXT and The Voice.
the New York Rangers play tonight in Vancouver. so, i will be up late watching that.
i have to get the trash picked up and figure out what the fuck is for dinner, so that's all for me kids.
i should be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done.
until then...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
i think i got to bed around 2 last night. just imagine the joy i felt waking up and seeing the clock say 4:23. fuck me. i eventually got up a little after 6 to take a shit. great, so much for sleeping in until the United game. more on that in a bit.
the poet of the day for this day of National Poetry Month is Casey Renee Kiser.
so, i was up in time to watch the Leeds vs. Manchester United match this morning. to say i wasn't thrilled with a 0-0 draw would be an understatement. i really wish United would have got the win today, but oh well.
the Yankees defeated the Indians last night, 2-1. they go for the sweep of the series this afternoon.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be VICE, City on a Hill, Desus & Mero, The Nevers and Mare of Easttown.
the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Buffalo. this is a MUST WIN game tonight.
i doubt i watch any of The Oscars tonight.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
i know i will probably have to go out later today to get mom's pills at the pharmacy. i think there are a few groceries she wants me to get as well.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday is even better.
until tomorrow kids...

so, today started off with nothing but rain and wind. i got almost 4 hours of sleep last night yet still managed to get my mother to her doctor's appointment on time this morning. that went pretty well. my mother's blood pressure is fucked at the moment, so she will be probably starting some new meds soon. joy.
NXT was good last night.
AEW was great last night, especially the main event.
the New York Rangers whipped the shit out of Philadelphia last night, 9-0.
Snowfall was excellent last night.
The Masked Singer was fucking crazy once again.
i decided to watch the Manchester United before writing this. i'm glad i did. United defeated AC Milan 1-0 to advance in the Europa League. Paul Pogba came off the bench to start the second half and scored 3 minutes later. if he can stay healthy the rest of the season, that should help.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, two episodes of The Unicorn, Desus & Mero and Cake. i'll watch NXT UK sometime tonight on either Peacock or WWE Network.
the USMNT under 23's are playing Costa Rica as i'm typing this. they are up 1-0. this is part of the Olympic qualifying that the USA really needs badly. they haven't been to the Olympics since 2008. hopefully, they will win. (thankfully, they just won, 1-0)
the First Four started today. i will probably watch some of the games. i picked Gonzaga to win it all. i really couldn't care if they do or not.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i know mom has physical therapy coming around noon tomorrow. it will probably be sometime after that or early in the morning.
i have dinner to go make, so that's all for me kids.
until tomorrow...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
the grocery store today was a fucking zoo. nearly every checkout lane was open but all the baggers decided to take a break at the same time. i was in line for almost 45 fucking minutes. that was after 90 minutes going around the store finding everything. thank god i rewarded myself today with some good alcohol. that will come in handy for the holidays. i had to go to two different stores before i went to the grocery store. and i had to get gas for the Highlander as well. all in all, i think i spent around $250 today. good times.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
the game last night between the Chiefs and Chargers was fucking crazy. the Chargers won 29-28 on a 2 point conversion with just 4 seconds left in the game. i really hope these two face face each other again in the playoffs.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be the season finale of VICE, NJPW, the last two episodes of the season for Room 104 and Mike Judge Presents: Tales From the Tour Bus.
the New York Rangers play at home tonight against Arizona. it would be nice to see the Rangers win tonight.
i think the last few things i ordered for mom arrived today and i found something at the store for my sister. so, i think i am actually done Christmas shopping now.
i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. i'm guessing it might be early or at least before the afternoon comes along.
i hope everyone has a great weekend.
