with the air turning crisp...

it rained a bit overnight again, but thankfully, not enough to wake me up this time. plus, it felt nice enough outside this morning, i was able to open the doors and get a little air moving through the house.

the Yankees won yesterday against the Red Sox, 7-5. Judge is still at 60 HR, though i have little doubt he will break the American League record for homers. i hope he gets hot again from the plate as he is now second in batting average. i really hope he wins the triple crown. the Yankees go for the sweep tonight. they have won more games this season than last, so i'm hoping that is a good sign for the playoffs.

Ohio State whipped Wisconsin last night, 52-21.

i did watch a little of the MLS game last night as well.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Last Week Tonight, the season finale of Big Brother and the season finale of City on a Hill.

the New Orleans Saints play on the road today at Carolina. i hope the boys find a way to win today.

i should be on here tomorrow in the afternoon.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully, your Sunday will be even better.

i was hoping to have this blog done before now, but the internet went out this morning. joy.

welcome to a no luck Friday...

so, i did go out baseball card hunting today and didn't find one fucking pack. i found a pack of hockey cards, but i didn't have any interest in buying those today. 2 hours i will never get back. oh well.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

Big Brother went as i expected last night. Da'Vonne was evicted and Cody is the new HOH. i do love that a triple eviction is coming this week. that should spice things up.

NXT UK was really good last night.

Desus & Mero was hilarious last night.

here are your highlights from the NBA last night:

the Yankees lost to the Blue Jays last night, 4-1. with the win, Toronto qualified for the playoffs. now, the Yankees have to win 2 out of 3 against the Marlins to finish second in the division. that series starts tonight in the Bronx.

enjoy some music:

running on fumes...

i guess you could say i'm on the comedown now... of course, i'm burning the candle at both ends again. as i tell anyone who wants to listen. place your bets on the under on how many years i live. i can easily say i won't be here 25 years from now. and if i am, you can blame whatever angel decided i was worth the effort.

i had to take mom to get her blood work done again today. i guess her doctor didn't like the kidney numbers on the earlier one this week. she sees him on Monday. after that, she wanted to go to Bob Evans. i joked that it was before 4 PM, so we should beat the early dinner crowd. our waitress was on her first day on the job. that was fun. i gave her a good tip, mostly because she was drop dead gorgeous.

the New York Yankees lost last night in 12 innings to Tampa, 2-1. hopefully, they will get the split in the series tonight.

the New York Rangers got their first win of the preseason last night, 3-1 over the Islanders.

Smackdown was good last night, as was 205 Live.

Mayans M.C. had a nice oh fuck moment last night. loved it.

Mr. Mercedes was excellent last night.

The Voice was good last night.

The Jim Jefferies Show was hilarious last night.

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NXT, the season finale of Big Brother, American Horror Story, Cake and The Masked Singer. i'll watch NXT UK sometime tonight on WWE Network.

Manchester United played Rochdale today in the League Cup. thank god i didn't watch. United ended up winning on penalty kicks, 5-3. i believe Rochdale plays 2 leagues below United. great.

i'll be on here tomorrow in the late afternoon again. i have a doctor's appointment at 2. when i get back home, i think mom wants me to take her to get her haircut. lord knows, i need one as well. so, if that happens, i'll be on here after we're all done.

that's all for me kids. thankfully tonight is full of mindless entertainment.

until tomorrow...

¿Cuándo va a enfriarse el clima?
