been a long ass day...

i've been to Rite Aid twice today, i've been to Kroger twice today, hell, i even made a trip to Lowe's looking for baseball cards. both times to Rite Aid was to pick up pills. i will hopefully never have to do that again. since i found out last night the store will be closing, i transferred all my prescriptions to Kroger. the first trip to Kroger was to get mom's pills and do the grocery shopping. the second trip was to finally get my Rybelsus. the insurance company finally agreed. the best part was they wanted me to pay $374 for 30 days worth of pills. i checked into GoodRx, which sent me to the Rybelsus site. i signed up for all that and thankfully, that took $300 off of what i needed to pay. so, between the 3 hours of sleep, the hard drizzle for most of today that drove my arthritis nuts, to the wind knocking over the trash bins, to the muse telling me she's off to a foreign country, to a trip to the post office, to getting gas and realizing it cost more than $30 for half a fucking tank... fuck i'm tired.

the Yankees lost last night at Tampa, 5-3. hopefully, they will find a way to win tonight.

NXT was great last night.

Hard Knocks in Season was good last night.

i did catch some of the Euro 2024 games yesterday and today. yesterday, Spain defeated France, 2-1. today, England defeated Netherlands, 2-1. they will play each other on Sunday for the championship.

yesterday in the Copa America, Argentina defeated Canada, 2-0. tonight, Uruguay takes on Colombia.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be AEW Dynamite.

i think all the storms are out of the area now. i'm hoping i will actually get some fucking sleep tonight.

i do need to send some poems out tonight.

and i need to figure out dinner.

i will probably be on here tomorrow in the afternoon.

until then kids...

a cold start to the morning...

the problem with my mother using white noise or other sounds to sleep is she is basically deaf. so, that meant i could hear the white noise all the way in the kitchen, let alone my bedroom right next door to hers. now, i don't mind it most of the time, but when she was awake this morning and it was still blaring loud enough that i could barely hear the television in the living room, i had no choice but to be the asshole and go to her room and turn the fucking app off on her phone. i'm hoping that isn't how today is going to be like, but...

my gambling sucked last night and it didn't start well this morning either. hopefully, i'm at the bottom now and can only go up from here.

AEW Rampage was good last night.

Young Rock was pretty funny last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was very good last night.

Game Theory with Bomani Jones was excellent last night.

here are your NBA highlights from last night:

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Saturday Night Live. i'll be watching NXT Vengeance Day for most of the evening on Peacock.

the NHL All Star game is later today. i thought the Skills competition last night was pretty good.

the Dayton Flyers play tonight at Saint Bonaventure. hopefully, the boys will find a way to win tonight.

i'm sure i will watch some other college basketball games today as well.

it is supposed to warm up some today, so i will probably feed the birds later today.

Manchester United won today at home against Crystal Palace, 2-1. Casemiro lost his head in the second half today and got a straight red card. Bruno and Rashford scored for United today. this was a MUST win after Arsenal dropped points this morning at Everton.

i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday.

the last day of National Poetry Month...

today is the last day of April. so, of course, it is raining this morning. i hope everyone has enjoyed the videos and my SoundCloud recordings for the month. below are the final 3 videos for this day of National Poetry Month:

the Yankees won last night at the Royals, 12-2. they play again tonight.

the New York Rangers defeated Washington last night, 3-2. the Rangers will play Pittsburgh in the first round of the playoffs, starting on Tuesday at home.

the New Orleans Saints took a defensive back last night in the 3rd round, Alontae Taylor from Tennessee. he looks like he could be a good fit on defense and especially, special teams. the Saints have 2 draft picks today, so i'm hoping they get guys that can fill roles that they still have open. the remaining rounds of the NFL Draft start today at noon.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were pretty good last night.

AEW Rampage was really good last night as well.

Real Time with Bill Maher was hilarious last night.

A Black Lady Sketch Show was fucking great last night.

here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

nothing on the DVR tonight. looks like this will be the day to catch up on some sleep.

other than the NFL Draft today, i'll probably watch some soccer from around the world. that usually helps me sleep.

i do plan on taking a shower today and shaving. i always like to shave a little before the NHL playoffs start.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday.

until tomorrow kids...

i'd give my left arm for a good night of sleep...

i thought i was being a good boy last night, i got in bed before 2:30 in the morning. of course, the first time i saw the clock, it was 5:30. then i saw it again at 6:15. again at 7:20 and finally at 9:15, i decided, fuck it, and got out of bed. it was like a series of shitty naps. and my dreams consist of all my old girlfriends laughing at me. good times.

Smackdown was really good last night. i feel sorry for the women in WWE not named Becky, Charlotte, Ronda, Sasha or Bailey. i have no damn clue why they took the women's title off of Asuka last night and put it on Charlotte. while it makes the main event of WrestleMania that more interesting, Asuka is easily one of the best females on the roster. i did love the tag team gauntlet as the way for Kofi to get his match at WrestleMania against Daniel Bryan.

205 Live was pretty good last night.

The Jim Jefferies Show was fucking hilarious last night.

i was not surprised when i saw the news yesterday that Jordan Davis has decided to transfer from the University of Dayton. i think he saw the writing on the wall as much as the fans did. i really hope he finds the best school for him for his final two years of college.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, You're the Worst, Drop the Mic and What We Do in the Shadows. i'll watch NXT and NXT UK sometime tonight on WWE Network.

i did watch most of the USMNT vs. Chile last night. i thought the USA did well to get a 1-1 draw with a team that was clearly more cohesive than theirs. i think once the coach can decide on a lineup, the USA will only get better.

the New York Rangers play tonight at Boston. lose for Hughes boys.

i'm going to try to be on here before the New York Yankees have their season opener against Baltimore tomorrow. so, if that happens, i'll be on here in the morning. if not, i'll be on here after the game is over.

that's all for me kids. until tomorrow...

snow showers today

i couldn't sleep for anything last night. i tossed and turned. i think i might have got a couple good naps in at best. it was lightly snowing this morning. i think it is supposed to do that all day long. they said we should only get an inch of snow. that's good.

Celebrity Big Brother was a bit crazy last night.

NJPW was very good last night.

WOW was pretty good last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was pretty funny last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Saturday Night Live, Austin City Limits, ROH and Amanda Seales: I Be Knowin'.

i will probably watch some of the NHL All Star game tonight. i did catch some of the highlights from the skills competition last night, especially since The King won the goalie competition.

the Dayton Flyers play this afternoon at Fordham. this is a game that Dayton MUST win. they should since Fordham hasn't won in the league yet this season. of course, Dayton could also lay another fucking egg on the road as well. the game isn't on television, so i'll probably listen on the radio.

i can't wait for NXT Takeover: Phoenix tonight. it should be amazing, just like every other Takeover event.

i will probably be on here in the morning tomorrow, of course i said that for this morning as well. i'm not sure why so many damn people enjoy chatting with me online. apparently, it must be because i respond to the chats. fuck me, talk about wasting time.

given that most of my tomorrow will be devoted to the Royal Rumble, i WILL be on here in the morning.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money.
