well, this halloween has certainly reminded me of the ones growing up. cold as fuck and the chance of snow. i think it got down into the 20's last night. it barely made it into the 40's for the high today. good times.
the New York Rangers won last night in Winnipeg, 3-2 in OT. first time in franchise history they had a 5 game road trip and won all 5 games.

it has been rainy and gloomy here all day long. if it would have been colder, it would have completely reminded me of many nights trick or treating in my childhood.
Manchester United won yesterday at home against West Ham, 1-0. the goal was scored by Marcus Rashford, which was his 100th goal for the club.
the New Orleans Saints won yesterday over the Raiders, 24-0. i was shocked at how poorly the Raiders played or, holy shit, there's the Saints defense i was expecting to see this season. hopefully, this is a sign of things to come.
the New York Rangers won last night in Arizona, 3-2.
the New York Knicks lost last night in Cleveland, 121-108.
here are your NBA highlights from yesterday:
i did watch a little of the MLS conference finals yesterday. i think the finals between LAFC and Philadelphia should be a good one.
Let The Right One In was really good last night.
The White Lotus was amazing last night.
Last Week Tonight was brilliant, as usual.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be The Voice, Monday Night Raw, The Vow and Avenue 5.
i did listen to episode 419 of Notsam Wrestling this morning. you can hear it by going here:
it's been rainy and windy as fuck so far today. i remember when i was a child and Halloween would be like this, it fucked it up for everyone. i can remember too many times going out to trick or treat in my fucking winter coat. joy.
NXT was excellent last night.
AEW was pretty good last night.
American Horror Story was fucking crazy last night.
Cake was good last night.
The Bronx, USA was pretty good last night. it always amazes me at just how cheap shit was in the past.
congrats to the Nationals on winning the World Series.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Mr Inbetween, Will & Grace, Perfect Harmony and Desus & Mero. i'll watch NXT UK and WWE Crown Jewel sometime later today on WWE Network.
i might watch some of the NFL game tonight as well.
i'm running on about 4 hours of sleep at the moment. i still need to do some stretching and take a shower before i go to physical therapy this afternoon.
i hope everyone has a great Halloween. be safe and go scare the shit out of some people.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after a trip to the grocery store.
until then kids...

it has been raining here all day long. it reminds me of Halloween when i was a child. it seemed like everyone of them ended up with either rain, snow, or me in a fucking winter coat over a costume. i have always wanted to enjoy this day. i suppose if i grew up somewhere other than Ohio, it might have been possible.
Smackdown was really good last night. i love how they got around the fact that Daniel Bryan wasn't going to wrestle in Saudi Arabia. insert Samoa Joe. he solves most problems to be quite honest. and i will never tire of watching him and AJ Styles wrestle.
The Voice was pretty good last night.
The Jim Jefferies Show was hilarious last night.
Mayans M.C. was excellent last night. the season finale next week should be awesome.
the New York Rangers tried their best to piss away a win last night, even giving up the tying goal with 1.6 seconds left in the game. thankfully, they ended up winning the game in the shootout. the Rangers beat San Jose 4-3. that alcohol tasted so sweet last night before i went to bed.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Lucha Underground, American Horror Story and Total Divas. i'll watch 205 Live and NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.
i did watch NXT UK this afternoon. it was very good.
hard to believe October is already at the end of the month. i guess i need to start thinking about what the fuck i'm getting people for Christmas this year.
i hope everyone enjoys Halloween. hopefully the weather is better in your neck of the woods.
i have to take mom and the Highlander to the dealership in the morning. hopefully, they can fix the tail light problem quickly. i don't want to have to fuck around with a rental and all that. or, maybe mom gets a wild hair up her ass and decides to replace a vehicle that was built in 2002.
i'll be on here sometime after all that is over.

i'm not sure what i'm going to wear tonight. my sister is having a "costume" party, which i didn't know about until Sunday. i thought it was going to be just us going up there to see her new house. i figure i'll throw something on and when she asks what i am, i'll say disinterested.
that being said, if you're doing Halloween shit today and tonight, enjoy yourselves.
The Voice was pretty good last night. i was a little surprised at who the coaches kept.
Monday Night Raw was really good last night. the buildup to Survivor Series is going pretty good so far.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, The Jim Jefferies Show, American Horror Story, The Voice and Drop the Mic. i'll watch 205 Live sometime in the next day or so on WWE Network.
hopefully the DVR records all that as i doubt i'll be watching any of it at my sister's house.
Manchester United plays Benfica today in Champions League action. a win today and they will advance to the knockout round of the Champions League.
the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Las Vegas. hopefully that won't be too much of a horror show.
that's all for me today kids. i have to take mom to get her new glasses and a prescription at the pharmacy. and then i still have to do the trash and get ready to drive up to Columbus. joy.

growing up as the heavy kid, there wasn't many costumes you could do. you could always put on a mask and regular clothes. painting the face was always an option, though i was shaving by the age of 12. i remember Halloween being a big deal in the neighborhood i grew up in. and since 2 apartment complexes were nearby as well, it got a little crazy at times. i can recall lines of 10 to 20 kids at a time getting candy at the house. thank god we stopped that shit. i prefer to treat this day as a day to retreat into the dark places in my head. have a little fun with some evil and see what the fuck happens. and now the candy has become liquor. i should have started that sooner as well.
WWE Hell in a Cell was good last night. i would say it was great, but the main event was screwed up by the wrong decision. i have nothing against the WWE "policy" of you lose in your hometown. if it's just a house show or a regular television event, no big deal. but when it's a ppv and a historic match of the first two women EVER to compete in Hell in a Cell, that wasn't the time to have Sasha job to Charlotte. it completely ruined all the good feelings the show had built up over the previous 3 to 4 hours. match of the night for me was Owens vs. Rollins. the match had everything. not quite a 5 star classic, but easily a good holy shit match.
the season finale of The Strain was fucking crazy last night. at least i know what the first stage of the nuclear holocaust might look like.
Westworld was excellent last night. Divorce was very funny last night. Insecure was fucking hilarious. Shameless was excellent as always last night. Masters of Sex was very interesting. and finally, Last Week Tonight was great as usual.
the New York Rangers whipped Tampa Bay last night, 6-1. while it's still early in the season, this is the best i've seen the Rangers offense in years. hopefully they start another winning streak.
the New Orleans Saints held on for an important victory yesterday against Seattle. the defense was amazing in the second half and the offense scored on its final 6 possessions. that's how you get a big victory, 25-20.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice and Gotham. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.
today has been one of those days where i just haven't felt like doing a fucking thing. i was going to do a YouTube video but then i couldn't decide which poem i wanted to do. i was going to write, but the poem in my fucking head doesn't have an ending yet. i'm figuring i'm at the point where i probably need a mental release and (hopefully) everything will fall back into place.
i might check out some of the Monday Night Football game tonight, mostly just for fantasy football purposes.
that's all for me kids. i hope everyone had a wonderful Sunday. enjoy the rest of your Halloween. go scare the shit out of someone, literally.

sitting here in the kitchen, looking out at the trees in the yards behind me. thank god i don't believe in raking leaves. it was great at the farm as you could always count on a day of holy shit winds that would put the leaves and god knows what else into the fields. here in suburbia, i'm not counting on that wind. but i'm also not going to rake the leaves down to the street either. if someone else in this neighborhood of go-getters wants to do it, be my guest. i could probably go about 10 minutes before my back said fuck you and quit. good times.
i sat through a very frustrating Manchester United game this morning. i had no illusion that the game at Crystal Palace was going to be easy. but it is entirely too fucking frustrating watching a team more concerned with possession than actually scoring. i understand that probably every team would love to have the ball 70% of the game. but what fucking good does it do if everyone forgets that you need a good pass into the final third to actually fucking score? yet another game where they dropped points. 0-0 draws don't win you trophies. all they do is help you avoid relegation. United is now 4th in the table, 4 points behind the leaders. not exactly sure where the fuck they are going to make up those points the way they are playing now. fuck me.
last night was much better for me in the world of sports. the Sacramento Kings destroyed the Lakers last night. that certainly made me really fucking happy.
the New York Rangers defeated Toronto 3-1. my favorite troll got his first NHL hat trick.
NJPW was excellent last night. any match involving Shinsuke Nakamura is well worth your time.
The Knick was great last night. it had an ending that certainly caught me off guard. season 2 is turning out to be just as good as the first season was.
Undateable was fucking hilarious last night. i absolutely love the chemistry the cast has during live shows. and i love it more when you can obviously see they are trying to get someone to break. fucking great television.
enjoy some music kids:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be ROH, the Saturday Night Live Halloween special and Austin City Limits. i believe this episode will have Gary Clark, Jr. and Courtney Barnett.
i will be spending most of today in the garage helping mom clean some shit out and i believe we're going to try to do something creative with my sports posters. they are mostly local teams that i think we are going to try to wallpaper the garage with. and then the plan is to hang up some crazy shit over that; like a deer head, some photos of my sister from college, glamour shots, etc, etc. i figure i will break out the whiskey and enjoy myself and the fumes.
you would think Halloween would be one of those days i would love. you'd be wrong. it mostly reminds me of not having many friends. plus, they really don't make cool costumes for fat people. this is the first time i have lived in a neighborhood in 18 years. i have no clue how much trick or treat traffic this cul-de-sac gets. i'm not going to find out either, as the lights will be out. hell, we'll still probably be in the garage.
for those of you handing out candy tonight, give out the good shit. no fruit, no kind messages, no tiny candy bars. you give out the real shit and you'd be amazed at how often your house doesn't get fucked with. for those of you going out partying tonight, enjoy it. be safe. scare the shit out of everyone. and enjoy a slutty nurse or two.
Ohio State is on a bye week this week. so naturally, the starting QB got arrested this morning for OVI. he's suspended for next week's game against Minnesota. fucking underage kids.
that's all for me today. i will be on here early tomorrow as there is yet another fucking football game in London tomorrow morning. and of course, i have players on my fantasy team playing in it.
i hope this finds everyone wearing something ridiculous or busy brewing something hideous.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

i went to bed really late last night/this morning. i had to do the dishes, mostly because i wanted to make sure there was some hot water running in these old pipes. the joys of having an old house and you're having your first freeze warning of the season. when i got up, it was close to 40 degrees. sadly, that's probably the high temperature for today. good times. reminds me of my youth having to wear a winter coat over my Halloween costume. thank god those days are over.
my plan worked out again with the New Orleans Saints last night. i picked against them and they won again, on the road even. i'll gladly keep up that habit if it gets them back to the playoffs. they are first in the division once again. a very good 28-10 win on short rest.
i did watch a little bit of LeBron's return to Cleveland. he played tighter than a nervous virgin in an orgy. painful to watch. i doubt they will play that bad again this season. especially against a team that sucks like the Knicks.
The Big Bang Theory was pretty good last night. Billy Bob Thornton did a great job in his role. thankfully, i'm not that fucking awkward around women.
i got an email from Janne Karlsson this morning with an assignment that i'm going to try to get done sometime this weekend. it's always a good sign when he sends me some art and i immediately have some words come to me.
mom and i have a hockey game in Columbus tonight. the Blue Jackets are facing the Toronto Maple Leafs. i love getting to see teams from the Original 6. all i have left out of those teams are Montreal and Boston. i think we have tickets for the Boston game in Columbus... or maybe not. i got to see Detroit and Chicago play in Chicago years ago. and i have seen the Rangers a handful of times in my life. hopefully it is a good game tonight. the Blue Jackets have a ton of injuries, so i'm thinking it may be a glorified minor league team tonight. but, another chance for me to amaze my sister by knowing all the words to O Canada.
it is supposed to be snowing tonight after the game. i would prefer if that shit would wait until i get back home. not that i fear driving in the elements... it's the other assholes on the road i can't stand. plus, most of the drive will be in under construction zones on the highway. good times.
hopefully we get home at a decent time as i would like to catch the new episode of Sonic Highways tonight. Foo Fighters are quickly becoming one of my all-time bands.
i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. i'm guessing late morning/early afternoon as Ohio State plays tomorrow night. it's a pretty big sports weekend, most notably it is the Manchester Derby weekend. i'm slowly gearing myself up to be mentally spent by Sunday at noon.
hope everyone has a great Halloween. try not to be too big of a prick to the kids knocking on the door. and don't be the asshole that gives something other than candy.
