afternoon thunderstorms...

nothing like a thunderstorm out of nowhere to just stop me in my tracks. fucking arthritis. this should be a fun one type up.

yesterday was not a good one for me.

the New York Yankees lost to Baltimore yesterday 6-4. they pissed away a chance for a sweep and to pick up a game on Boston. they are still 3 games out in the division. the Yankees start a series with the Twins tonight. Minnesota is right behind the Yankees in the wild card standings. so, it could be a playoff preview.

the New Orleans Saints lost to New England yesterday 36-20. and honestly, it never felt that close. the defense was horrific yesterday as Tom Brady shredded them to pieces. and when your defense can't stop anyone, it doesn't matter how good the offense is.

i was saddened to hear of the death of  Bobby "The Brain" Heenan yesterday. he was definitely one of the reasons i absolutely loved wrestling as a child.

thankfully, Manchester United was the exception to everything yesterday. they defeated Everton 4-0. i thought it was kind of funny that United scored 3 of those goals after Wayne Rooney came out of the game for Everton.

The Vietnam War last night on PBS was very good. this is a topic that i am highly interested in, given that my father would never tell me anything about his time in the war. i really liked in part 1 that they went all the way back to the 1850's to set up why everything happened a century later. i'm sure part 2 will be just as good tonight.

Ballers was really good last night. the season finale next week should be really good as well.

Ray Donovan was pretty good last night.

Episodes was pretty funny last night.

The Deuce was excellent last night.

Vice Principals was fucking hilarious last night.

the series finale of The Strain last night was damn near perfect. the fight scenes were amazing and the twist i didn't see coming that set up the last few scenes was great. probably one of my favorite shows that i never expected to like.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, I Hart Food and The Vietnam War. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i'll probably be on here tomorrow sometime after a trip to the bank.

i hope everyone had a great weekend. i now have dishes to do, toilets to clean and a house to vacuum. good times.

the sweet taste of victory

broke out the Jagermeister last night, so you know i was feeling good.

Ohio State finally got off to a hot start yesterday against Army. of course, that didn't last as they basically did nothing for the entire 2nd quarter. thankfully, the halftime adjustments worked and Ohio State went on to win 38-7.

the New York Yankees whipped Baltimore yesterday, 9-3. they will go for the sweep of the Orioles this afternoon.

i never got to see Prince live in concert before he died. that's why i made sure to record Prince: Sign O' the Times last night. i remember when that came out in 1987. i was probably too young to really like those songs at the time, but i do recall Sheena Easton being my "dream" woman around that time. i watched that last night and truly felt just how old i am now.

ROH was excellent last night.

the college football games didn't disappoint last night either.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Ballers, Ray Donovan, Episodes, The Deuce, Vice Principals, The Vietnam War and the series finale of The Strain.

Manchester United takes on Everton here in a few minutes. it's going to be really weird seeing Wayne Rooney in blue.

the New Orleans Saints take on New England today. either it's going to be a shootout or it's going to be one of those days where i'm really happy i rolled over a victory drink from yesterday to today.

i might watch some of the Emmy Awards tonight. i figure Stephen Colbert will have some funny moments.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully, your Sunday will be even better.

checking the ego for once

first off, may we never forget...

i did a little poetry work today. i know where my next 27 poems are going to go. plus, i thinned out my unpublished file and moved some (nearly half) poems to the archives. this should allow me to better know the poems i'm selecting from. plus, if i ever do get a little fame, there's that unpublished collection waiting in the wings. but, when i noticed how thick the file was, that's certainly a good way to punch the ego right in the face.

the New York Yankees scored early and often yesterday to defeat Texas 16-7. Aaron Judge crushed 2 home runs as did Gary Sanchez. and they won on a day Boston lost. the Yankees start a series tonight against Tampa in the Mets stadium in Queens. hopefully the Yankees can win again tonight.

Big Brother was good last night. i'm still hoping they somehow fuck over Paul in the end. Alex will be the next to go.

Ballers was pretty good last night.

the season finale of Insecure was excellent.

Last Week Tonight was hilarious as usual last night.

The Strain was fucking great last night. the series finale next week should be great.

Ray Donovan was pretty good last night.

Episodes was pretty funny last night.

The Deuce was absolutely great last night. i can tell i'm really going to enjoy this show.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and I Hart Food. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for at least some of the night.

i'll be watching the New Orleans Saints play at Minnesota for most of the evening. i'm hoping the Saints can get a victory to start the season.

i got some great FREE music on NoiseTrade this morning. below are the links.

and through anger comes a diamond...

Ohio State pissed me off so much that i didn't even bother to watch the whole game. i walked away, poured myself a tall glass of Jack Daniels and Coke, went to my room, turned on some music and just started to write. and write. and write some more. by the end, i just figured to finish off the damn notebook. 12 poems in all. i'll type them up this afternoon while the football games are on. i have no rooting interest with the games today.

Ohio State got their asses whipped by Oklahoma last night, 31-16. if Ohio State wouldn't have caused some turnovers in the first half, Oklahoma would have hung 50 on them last night. judging from the first 2 games, the Buckeyes are probably the 3rd or 4th best team in the Big Ten right now. if they don't improve quickly, it's going to be a long season.

Manchester United was held to a 2-2 draw yesterday at Stoke City. they are still in first place, but only by goal differential now. they play again on Tuesday in the Champions League. i'll miss most of that since the game is on at the same time as mom's cataract surgery on her left eye.

the lone bright spot yesterday was the New York Yankees. they got some great pitching yesterday and scored a few runs late to beat Texas 3-1. hopefully they will win the series this afternoon.

ROH was excellent last night. i could watch The Young Bucks wrestle air for the next 20 years and be entertained.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, Ballers, Insecure, Last Week Tonight, The Strain, Ray Donovan and Episodes.

i figure after i type up those poems, i'll flip around all the NFL games. i still have the Sunday Ticket package even though i'm no longer playing fantasy football. since mom's team is the Jets and mine is the Saints, it's the only way we could see every game that isn't on national television.

i'll be on here tomorrow in the afternoon most likely. i know i have to make a trip to the grocery store tomorrow as i just realized this morning i was getting low on my prescriptions. that's my last refill until my next visit to the doctor in October.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better. for those of you that didn't try to flee the hurricane, why the fuck are you reading this? be safe and hopefully the flooding won't be catastrophic.

happy labor day

i hope everyone that is celebrating labor day enjoys it. safe travels. don't drink and drive unless you plan on killing yourself. enjoy some food and some relaxation.

the New York Yankees defeated Boston last night 9-2. that moves them within 3 1/2 of first place in the division. what i loved most about last night was they whipped Boston's best pitcher. and Aaron Judge finally hit another home run. it would be nice to get him going again, especially since Gary Sanchez will be out 3 games serving his suspension. the Yankees start a series this afternoon at Baltimore.

Big Brother was pretty funny last night. i'm not sure why these house guests are so stupid.

the season finale of Power last night was fucking great. this show has got better each and every season. i can't wait for season 5.

Ballers was pretty good last night.

Insecure was very good last night. the season finale next week looks great.

The Strain was a little heartbreaking last night. it's painfully obvious that the end of the series is near. i believe there's only 2 more episodes left.

the two part season finale of Twin Peaks last night was a delicious mind fuck once again. just when i thought the show was going to go in one direction, it completely threw a damn curve. brilliant as always.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be I Hart Food. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i did watch the next 4 episodes of the Mae Young Classic on WWE Network this morning. they were excellent. i can't wait to see the live finals on September 12th.

i hope everyone had a great weekend. for those of you who have a weekend still going, live it up my friends.

hello sunshine, my name is...

i have to get out of this damn rut i have fallen into of not going to sleep until 3 or 4 in the morning. now, on holiday weekends, it's not so bad, but on the regular days it's not ideal when you are helping to take care of another human. last night i was doing the dishes at 2 in the damn morning. it's comical when you think about it. 2 victory drinks just so i can stand the pain of doing the dishes for 45 minutes. and then it takes me nearly 2 hours to get to the point where i fall asleep. it's the recipe for early death my friends.

the New York Yankees won yesterday over Boston 5-1. they got some really good pitching and a welcome home run from the returning Matt Holliday. now, hopefully they can get the win tonight as a split in the series does them no good.

ROH was pretty good last night.

i did watch most of Alabama vs. Florida State last night. Alabama certainly did take advantage of every mistake Florida State made. i suppose it depends on how bad Florida State's QB is hurt if they will meet again in the playoffs or not. Alabama won 24-7.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, the season finale of Power, Ballers, Insecure, The Strain and the two hour season finale of Twin Peaks.

i figured since the sun i was out today, i would feed the birds. i did that after i went to the local grocery store to pick up all the things mom wanted for Labor Day tomorrow. all in all, it was a pretty nice day to be out in the sun.

of course, the rain should be back here by Monday night.

and all it does is rain...

i had to turn the storm coverage off. seeing all that damn rain on television was starting to fuck with my brain and my arthritis. we had a brief shower this morning and i felt like hell. i have been making little donations to the American Red Cross, not that i expect a nickle here and there will make a difference.

the New York Yankees won yesterday 10-1 over Seattle. the Mariners committed 5 errors yesterday. thankfully, the Yankees took advantage of them. and with Boston losing yesterday, the Yankees are now just 2 1/2 games behind in the division. they start a tough series at home tonight against Cleveland.

Big Brother was pretty good last night.

Ballers was pretty funny last night.

Insecure was fucking great last night. even though i know it was fake cum, what a wonderful ending to an episode.

The Strain was brilliant last night. an absolutely incredible ending to the episode.

Ray Donovan was really good last night.

Episodes was pretty funny last night.

Twin Peaks was yet another absolutely fucking great mind fuck last night. the two part finale next week should be great.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and I Hart Food. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i did watch the first 4 episodes of the Mae Young Classic this morning on WWE Network. i'm so happy to see women's wrestling getting a showcase like this. all of the matches were pretty good. at least one match on each episode was great. i highly recommend it.

i take mom to have her surgery on her right eye tomorrow morning. she's a bit stressed out at the moment, especially since she doesn't know what's up with her insurance and everything since she's been terminated. sadly, i don't think her employer knows either.

i took her out on a little drive today. she had stuff to mail and she wanted to go out to her bank, which is 2 towns over. thankfully, it wasn't raining while we were out. we drove past our old farm on the way back home. looks like the soybeans can still grow out there.

i'll be on here tomorrow in the afternoon most likely. i figure i'll have mom back home by then for sure.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

lost souls trapped in a ball of chaos

i tend to look at people in the eyes when i'm out by myself. perhaps it's hoping for magic, perhaps it's the tragedy of being a poet, but the windows to the souls are usually a good, haunting place to start. i saw this woman at Menards yesterday that had some tragic fucking green eyes. even in just a few seconds, i could see pain, hardship, whatever fucking cliche you would like to use for getting the short end of a long stick. the more i am out in public, the more i feel like a kindred spirit with the damaged. who knows what my life would be like if i wouldn't have spent basically a decade sheltered from the world.

the New York Yankees won yesterday 6-3. they finally got a few hits when they needed them. hopefully they can win the series against Seattle this afternoon. they also picked up a game on Boston in the division.

Manchester United was dominant from start to finish yesterday in a 2-0 win over Leicester City. always good when all 3 substitutes contribute to the goals. plus, i'm absolutely thrilled with another clean sheet to start the season.

i don't want to get ahead of myself, but the New Orleans Saints might actually have a defense this year. they defeated Houston last night 13-0. if they could just have a decent defense to go with their usual offense, they could be deadly once again this season.

ROH was excellent last night.

i did watch a little of AAA's TripleMania last night over the internet. it was the 25th anniversary of the event. and god knows, i love a good mask vs. mask match. i never thought Dr. Wagner Jr. would lose though.

Jackie was a pretty sad movie last night. it did remind though of why i have loved Natalie Portman since the first time i ever saw her act. she is fucking amazing.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, Ballers, Insecure, The Strain, Ray Donovan, Twin Peaks and Episodes.

i imagine if i was 20 years younger, i might actually give a shit that the MTV Music Awards are on tonight.

i did find everything i was looking for at Menards yesterday. they had their Halloween shit out, so i had some fun finding a few creepy things. i have become a big fan of skulls as i have grown older. i found one yesterday that is purple and the red eyes light up. at $2.99, i couldn't resist.

mom started the eye drops for her right eye today. she has the surgery on that eye on Tuesday. she seems to be looking forward to it. i suppose time will tell.

it's hard to imagine all that fucking rain that is falling in Texas. and i don't think they are anywhere close to being done with it yet.

and finally, a few words for my best friend. take the agony, take the guilt, take all the fucking pain, and use it. don't wallow, but you are allowed to grieve however you see fit. embrace the light and squeeze whatever love out of it you can. there are a handful of souls on this earth that do love you. NEVER forget that.

i have no idea when i'll be on here tomorrow. i hope everyone had a great Saturday. and i hope your Sunday is even better.

4 in the morning and still not tired

the only thing i don't like about the long ass WWE pay per views on Sunday nights is all the other shit i'm missing while it's on. so after sitting there and watching about 6 hours of wrestling, i then had 7 hours of shows that i was recording during wrestling to watch. fuck me runnin'. i wouldn't mind it if the wrestling blew me away. sadly, 2 of the matches were really fucking amazing. the rest of the show was nothing better than something they show on Monday or Tuesday. that being said, the fatal 4 way main event last night at WWE SummerSlam between Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns was fucking crazy good. it was so good that you could easily have a really positive feel about the whole show after it. the other match that was great was The New Day vs. The Usos. it's obvious that both of these teams have great chemistry. the shitty part is the match was on the damn pre-show. all in all, i get the feeling that tonight on Monday Night Raw they will use their "second chance" to get it right, like they normally do.

the New York Yankees could only manage 3 damn hits yesterday as they lost to Boston 5-1. they are off tonight and start a series tomorrow in Detroit.

shockingly, the New Orleans Saints won a damn preseason game last night against the Chargers, 13-7. i only saw some of the highlights from the game. if they actually have a defense this year, they will be scary.

Big Brother was pretty funny last night. i see Christmas is going along with Paul's plan. i wish they would just give him the damn money already.

Power was fucking great last night. that ending almost had me in tears. next week should be crazy.

Ballers was really good last night.

Insecure was excellent last night.

Last Week Tonight was brilliant as always.

The Strain was great last night.

Episodes was pretty damn funny last night. hopefully they have a great final season.

Ray Donovan was really good last night. looks like there might be more sex in this season.

Twin Peaks was another tasty mind fuck last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and I Hart Food. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

it was a little cloudy here today, so i ended up watching most of the eclipse coverage on the NASA channel.

i did see Wayne Rooney score his 200th Premier League goal today for Everton. i got a good laugh that it was at Manchester City.

that's all for me today kids. i have checks to write and shit to get together to make a deposit at the bank tomorrow. i'll be on here after that trip into the unknown.

i hope everyone had a great weekend. my only suggestion if you didn't is to get better friends, real or imaginary.

good to feel like a kid again... i think

when i was going to the kitchen to fix my second drink last night, laughing my ass off while i was chanting Adam Cole's name in my head, i started to think about my damn near 40 years of watching pro wrestling. one of my earliest memories is sitting on my grandfather's lap watching wrestling on the television. this is 1979 i believe. i was 3 years old and already reading baseball box scores. fast forward 38 years, i love that i can still get a jolt of whatever from simply watching pro wrestling. and when something exceeds my expectations, for a brief moment or two, all is right with the world.

NXT Takeover Brooklyn III last night was great. every match got slightly better as the night went on, right up to the main event. like what has happened before, the heavyweight title match had to come after an outstanding women's title match. and honestly, Ember Moon vs. Asuka was the match of the night. something just felt a little off about Bobby Roode vs. Drew McIntyre. when Drew won the match and won the championship, i pretty much thought that means Bobby is getting called up to either Raw or Smackdown. and then, Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly showed up. they already appeared in the show earlier beating the hell out of everyone after the tag team title match. when i saw them standing on the apron, i immediately got up from my bed and started to wonder where Adam Cole was going to appear from. as soon as the crowd starting going ape shit, i knew it was actually happening. sometimes the rumors are true. Adam came in the ring and destroyed Drew. i guess we have a new feud for NXT now. seeing three of my favorites from the last few years of ROH standing in a WWE ring together was beautiful and surreal. just like pro wrestling. another absolutely great show that will probably be better than SummerSlam tonight.

ROH was really good last night.

the New York Yankees once again found a way to beat Chris Sale. i have no damn clue how they have managed to beat him this season. a couple home runs and then hold the fuck on. thankfully, Girardi took Chapman out of the closer role and it worked last night. the Yankees won 4-3. hopefully they will win the series this afternoon.

enjoy some music:

i'll be watching WWE Summerslam for most of the evening.

rest in peace Dick Gregory. you did an amazing job while on this planet.

the New Orleans Saints play the Chargers tonight. i'll be slightly amazed if the Saints do something other than lose.

the epitome of a brutal loss

the New York Yankees were two outs away last night from an incredible win against one of the best pitchers in baseball and would have been just 3 1/2 games out of the division. instead, an unbelievable home run and some shitty managerial decisions took place and the Yankees lost 3-2 in 10 innings. an absolute brutal loss that has them 5 1/2 games out. thank god i have matured a bit. 10 years ago that would be the kind of loss that would have me up 2 days later still wondering about it. the Yankees start a series with the fucking Mets tonight. hopefully they start to fucking win consistently again.

Big Brother was pretty funny last night. the look on Cody's face when he couldn't even lose correctly was priceless.

Power was fucking great last night. another excellent ending.

Ballers was really good last night.

Insecure was fucking fantastic last night.

Last Week Tonight was absolutely hilarious.

The Strain was really good last night.

Ray Donovan was good last night.

Twin Peaks was yet another delicious mind fuck. loved the David Bowie flashback.

the season finale of I'm Dying Up Here was excellent last night.

i did watch the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup yesterday. CR7 had a very interesting few minutes. come on as a sub, score an amazing goal, get a yellow card for showing the crowd how many abs you have, get another yellow card (wrongly) for falling down in the box and then push the referee in the back when he shows you the red card. he ended up with a 5 game suspension for just about 20 minutes of action in the game. Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 3-1. the second leg is on Wednesday.

my last load of laundry is in the dryer. the dishes are already done. so, now all i have to do is clean the toilets. joy.

i think i got almost 5 1/2 hours of sleep last night. sadly, i don't think i moved at all. so, waking up this morning, that felt like murder in my joints. hello arthritis, fuck you.

just imagine if the dipshit acting as President would have said what he said today on Saturday. i imagine a good number of people would actually think he was starting to understand what being President actually means. instead, today was simply cleaning up a public relations mess and nothing more. he looked so damn uncomfortable throwing the racists, his people, under the bus. i'm sure all you Trump voters must feel proud.

i hope everyone had a great weekend. i'm off to go fold clothes and get ready for dinner.

better than the dreams

i don't think i could have dreamed of Manchester United getting off to a better start to this season. they played the best i have seen them play in years, probably since Sir Alex. and to get a 4-0 win over West Ham to start off the season will hopefully be a sign of things to come. 2 goals from Lukaku and a goal each from Martial and Pogba. i will certainly enjoy that drink this evening.

the New York Yankees got off to a good start yesterday and then the shit hit the fan. Boston whipped them 10-5 and honestly, it never felt that close. i would say hopefully they will win tonight, but i seriously doubt they will. they now have 2 starters on the disabled list and honestly, i could see them have to fight tooth and nail just to hang on to a wildcard spot for the playoffs.

ROH was really good last night.

i did get a good laugh from the President's inability to say the KKK or white nationalists or white supremacists in his bullshit comments on what happened yesterday in Charlottesville, Virginia. of course, when you have fucking racists whispering into your ear everyday from inside the White House, what should i expect. the hoods have been replaced with red hats. as one headline said today, Trump lit the flames of hatred, it's up to us to put them out. i urge all of you to check out this link and read the article and then really, really think about what fucking country you want to live in.

i do plan on watching the Spanish Super Cup this afternoon, which is getting ready to start now. this is the first leg between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

i had a heartbreaking phone call with my best friend this morning. when she told me her apartment has a gas leak but the landlord won't do anything to fix it, i was furious. but, since she told she's been fucked over by every social service there is in Arkansas, i told her the best advice i had for her is to either leave the state or die as quietly as she can. there certainly is a piece of me that thinks i might not hear from her again.

i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. all i'm hoping is that my damn headache is gone by then.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

bleary eyed and loopy

i have been up since 5 this morning. it feels like i have spent the whole damn day driving mom around.

her first appointment went really well. her surgeon think her hip has healed rather nicely and she is due back to see him in 2 months.

after breakfast and finally getting a chance to check my emails, it was off to her appointment for her cataracts. the one in her right eye is worse than the one in her left eye, so the right eye gets operated on first. also in the right eye, her cornea is fucked up. that will be managed unless it gets worse and then she gets to have a transplant. she'll have her cataracts done later this month and early next month. hopefully that means she will be bandaged for my sister's 40th birthday.

that damn appointment was over 3 hours long. that gave us enough time to get home, shit, eat and then go right back to where we were this morning for her physical therapy.

that session was supposed to be 45 minutes long. it was over 60. at least the therapist thinks she is doing well. mom doesn't think so. and people wonder where i get my negativity.

i am fucking tired and probably on the verge of falling asleep during Monday Night Raw.

the New York Yankees got some great pitching yesterday. Luis Severino gave up a solo homer in the first inning. the next hit he gave up was in the 7th inning. the offense finally woke the fuck up and the Yankees earned the split with Cleveland by beating them 8-1. they start a series tomorrow night in Toronto.

Big Brother was pretty good last night. too bad Jessica's plan isn't going to work.

Twin Peaks was yet another delicious mind fuck last night.

Ray Donovan was excellent last night. always good to start a season off with a death.

I'm Dying Up Here was really good last night. i laughed when the guy got the car his father committed suicide in in the will. my father didn't leave me shit.

The Strain was fucking great last night.

Ballers was pretty good last night.

Insecure was great once again last night.

Power was fucking great once again last night.

Last Week Tonight was fucking hilarious as usual last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and Brillo Box (3 cents off). i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i did do a little poetry work last night. i know where my next 12 poems are going to go.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays in the UEFA Super Cup against Real Madrid.

of course, mom has a doctor's appointment the same time as the match, so i'm going to miss at least the first half or so.

that's all for me kids. i hope everyone had a great weekend. i'm off to go drink myself to sleep.

sometimes the blind squirrel does find the nut

when Chase Headley homered last night to give the New York Yankees a 2-1 lead over Cleveland, i started to laugh. i think it had been over 100 at bats since his last homer. sometimes the blind squirrel does find the nut. the Yankees got some great defense (what a concept) in the 9th to end their losing streak and win the game 2-1. hopefully they will get a split in the series this afternoon.

ROH was excellent last night.

i did watch a little of George Lopez's HBO special last night. pretty funny.

i also watched a good portion of the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony last night. i am so happy that Morten Andersen finally got in.

i wrote 4 poems last night. i typed them up this morning. i really, really like them. i figure at some point today, i'll go through my unpublished file and figure out what i'm going to send out next.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, The Strain, Ballers, Insecure, Last Week Tonight, Twin Peaks, Ray Donovan, I'm Dying Up Here and Power.

i did watch a little bit of the Community Shield match between Arsenal and Chelsea this morning. i didn't give two shits who won, it was more just background noise.

i did watch most of the German Super Cup yesterday. it followed the usual script anytime Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich play. Bayern scored late and won on penalty kicks. shocker.

the trip to get ink for the printer yesterday was ho hum. i wasn't expecting to spend over $100 on ink, but at least i got some free paper with the purchase.

i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. mom has 3 different appointments i have to take her to, including the first visit with the doctor for her cataracts. i guess i might try to squeeze one in the early afternoon, but don't be shocked if the blog is late as fuck tomorrow.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.
