so, i was getting ready to write this about a hour ago. that was until i heard mom scream from her room. i went in and turned on the light and asked what was wrong? she started complaining about all the people in her room, etc. i told her she is once again hallucinating and thinking her dreams are reality. i explain to her all the time this is the byproduct of not doing any drugs while growing up in the 60's.
here are your two videos for this day of National Poetry Month:
the Yankees won last night at home to sweep the Royals, 4-3. they start a series tonight at Tampa.
AEW Dynamite was actually pretty good last night.
the season finale of Abbott Elementary was hilarious.
The Masked Singer was crazy as usual last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage and AEW Collision.
Manchester United plays today at home against Lyon in the Europa League. the score is 2-2 on aggregate. if United wins today they will advance.
the New York Rangers finish their disappointing season tonight at home against Tampa Bay. the only reason to watch tonight is for Sam Rosen.
i did watch some of the NBA playoffs last night.
i'm going to try to be on here tomorrow before mom has her physical therapy in the afternoon.
that's all for me kids...
until tomorrow...

mom has all these plants in the kitchen. she woke up last night after 1 hour of sleep to see how they were and get some heat on out there. i was still up since she has the tendency to sleep walk sometimes. i told her wouldn't it make more sense to just turn the furnace up. thankfully, that logic made sense to her and she went back to sleep. one thing i can say with certainty, there will be no plants in this house once she dies.
i wrote 2 poems last night. anytime i get close to my birthday, the poems start to flow. misery and death never seem to be that far away.
the New York Rangers lost at Montreal last night, 5-4 in OT.
the conference championship games are set in the NFL. the Bills beat the Ravens last night, 27-25. Buffalo will play at the Chiefs for the AFC championship. the Eagles beat the Rams yesterday, 28-22. the Eagles will host the Commanders for the NFC championship.
The Agency was excellent last night. next week is the season finale.
enjoy some music:

nothing on the DVR tonight. i'll be watching the Ohio State vs. Notre Dame game tonight for the national championship. after that, i'll probably watch some of Monday Night Raw on Netflix.
i do plan on watching some NBA games today.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
i know i will be doing some writing today and tomorrow and probably send out some poems as well.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.

i have to admit, i did watch Friends in the 90's. of course, who didn't? i was saddened to see that Matthew Perry died yesterday. 54 years old is way too young. i know he had his problems with drugs over the years but i honestly thought he had made his way through that jungle to the other side. at the very least, Chandler Bing is one of the great TV characters of all time. he will always be remembered for that.
Ohio State won last night at Wisconsin, 24-10.
i did watch a good number of college football games yesterday.
the New York Rangers won last night in Vancouver, 4-3, in OT.
AEW Collision was really good last night.
Saturday Night Live was pretty funny last night.
Austin City Limits was great last night.

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, the series finale of Billions, Last Week Tonight, Shining Vale and Fellow Travelers.
Manchester United plays Manchester City at Old Trafford today. i am hoping it doesn't get too ugly.
the New Orleans Saints play today at the Colts. hopefully, the Saints will find a way to win.
here are your NBA highlights from last night.
here are your highlights from Game 2 of the World Series.
i might watch some of the MLS playoffs tonight. FC Cincinnati is playing.
the USWNT plays Colombia later today in a friendly.

so, my mother is allergic to latex. she wanted me to find some latex free band-aids for her face. i went to 5 different places today. none of them had any that would work for her. so, i told her that Amazon Prime is going to be her best bet. we really don't have anything in the house that would work for her either.
it fucking poured last night. rained enough to make sure my arthritis was going to be awake all night long. i guess i have finally figured out how to sleep in pain. that should extend my life by a few days i suppose.
so the new edition of NXT went pretty good last night. plenty of new faces, but i don't mind that. i love Tommaso Ciampa as the new champion, it sucks that Samoa Joe had to give up the title because of injury, but it is nice to see Goldie back where she belongs.
Deadliest Catch was good last night. next week is the season finale.
the Yankees won last night in Baltimore, 7-2. hopefully, they will win again tonight.
the grocery shopping went well other than not finding the one thing i couldn't find. i did get some baseball cards at Rite Aid. i paid $5 for a box and there was about $15 in it. i also found some NBA stickers at Dollar General. i said fuck it, i haven't seen these in years, so i bought 5 packs. i got a few stars in them. i don't peel and stick the stickers. i might include in some gifts this year or if anyone ever comes looking for some basketball cards...
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, AEW, Big Brother and American Horror Story: Double Feature.
i know i need to take mom over to the place that does her taxes tomorrow. i might have a deposit to make at the bank tomorrow, don't know yet. i should be on here sometime in the afternoon i guess.
now i have to go figure out dinner and do my best to not let mom get too depressed. she saw what her face looked like when the band-aid fell off today. she told me she wanted to puke. so yeah, i have my work cut out for me.

i have my days where i get a wild hair up my ass and i kind of just fly off the handle. between a couple poems published, writing 5 new ones, doing a new SoundCloud recording and a book review in roughly 24 hours or so... i'd like to think of that as a creative outburst. honestly, i wish i had more of them. i'm doing a little each day trying to defeat the overwhelmingly high amount of apathy in my life. the joy of being a stubborn fuck is i probably will keep fighting it until i die. and as much as a part of me wishes that would be soon, i think the better angels have other plans. although, i don't trust either of them. welcome to my reality.
i had to take some stuff back to the post office for mom today. i figured when i was out, i'd hit up the local grocery store since we were low on bread. she wanted lunch from Wendy's today, so that was my final stop. i don't know what to do now that i have a garage door opener that will actually work from across the street. mom seems to be doing a little better today. she has to remind herself sometimes she has spinal stenosis. i think her depression is from her inability to cope with the fact she can't do what she could just a few years ago. and with insurance and her old employer constantly fucking around with her, i do think she's going to snap one of these days. that will be interesting to say the least.
i didn't mind who got voted off The Voice last night. they are now at the final ten. it should be very interesting to see who wins the show. my top 3 are Kennedy, Kymberli and Kirk. of course, all 3 are black, so i will be pleasantly surprised if any of them actually win.
Smackdown was much, much better than Raw last night. thank god.
i did watch both episodes of NXT UK this afternoon. they were both really good.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and the season finale of Total Divas. i'll watch 205 Live and NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.
a big thank you to Capital One for actually getting the gift card i ordered with my Rewards points to me long before i thought they would. now, i can maybe get all my Christmas shopping done tonight.
i saw today on the news that it is supposed to warm up into the 50's this weekend. it currently feels like the fucking teens right now. so, i suppose everyone is going to be fucking sick for the month of December. joy.
i'll probably be on here earlier tomorrow as the New Orleans Saints play tomorrow night.

here is your poetry for the final day of National Poetry Month:
and for shits and giggles, here's another poetry video:
the New York Yankees completed the sweep of the Angels last night by winning 2-1. that's the first time the Yankees have swept the Angels out there in 15 years. the Yankees have now won 9 games in a row. hopefully, they will continue that streak tonight at Houston.
i did watch a good portion of the NHL and NBA playoffs yesterday. here are the highlights:
the season finale of Homeland was excellent last night. and if the next season starts off with Carrie completely fucking nuts, it should be interesting.
Billions was really good last night, especially the fucking ending.
Westworld was fucking amazing last night.
Silicon Valley was very funny last night.
Barry had an excellent ending last night.
Drop the Mic was very good last night.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and The Voice. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the night.
i went to the bank today to make a deposit. after that, i went to Dollar Tree to look for something mom and i couldn't find at the grocery store. thankfully, i was able to find something like we were looking for. this white woman complimented my shirt while i was in the store. i said thank you. i'm not sure if she thought i was supposed to say something else, as she stared at me like she was expecting something. i was in line at the time, so i just minded my own business, hoping crazy was going to take over and maybe the May poems would start off with a bang. sadly, that didn't happen.
mom got an appointment switched for her physical therapy this week. so, instead of going Friday morning, it's tomorrow morning. oh joy. so i will be on here probably in the afternoon. i guess i'll try to go to bed at a decent time tonight.
i hope everyone had a great weekend. i hope everyone had a good April.

when i was going to the kitchen to fix my second drink last night, laughing my ass off while i was chanting Adam Cole's name in my head, i started to think about my damn near 40 years of watching pro wrestling. one of my earliest memories is sitting on my grandfather's lap watching wrestling on the television. this is 1979 i believe. i was 3 years old and already reading baseball box scores. fast forward 38 years, i love that i can still get a jolt of whatever from simply watching pro wrestling. and when something exceeds my expectations, for a brief moment or two, all is right with the world.
NXT Takeover Brooklyn III last night was great. every match got slightly better as the night went on, right up to the main event. like what has happened before, the heavyweight title match had to come after an outstanding women's title match. and honestly, Ember Moon vs. Asuka was the match of the night. something just felt a little off about Bobby Roode vs. Drew McIntyre. when Drew won the match and won the championship, i pretty much thought that means Bobby is getting called up to either Raw or Smackdown. and then, Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly showed up. they already appeared in the show earlier beating the hell out of everyone after the tag team title match. when i saw them standing on the apron, i immediately got up from my bed and started to wonder where Adam Cole was going to appear from. as soon as the crowd starting going ape shit, i knew it was actually happening. sometimes the rumors are true. Adam came in the ring and destroyed Drew. i guess we have a new feud for NXT now. seeing three of my favorites from the last few years of ROH standing in a WWE ring together was beautiful and surreal. just like pro wrestling. another absolutely great show that will probably be better than SummerSlam tonight.
ROH was really good last night.
the New York Yankees once again found a way to beat Chris Sale. i have no damn clue how they have managed to beat him this season. a couple home runs and then hold the fuck on. thankfully, Girardi took Chapman out of the closer role and it worked last night. the Yankees won 4-3. hopefully they will win the series this afternoon.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, Power, Ballers, Insecure, Last Week Tonight, The Strain, Twin Peaks, Ray Donovan and Episodes.
i'll be watching WWE Summerslam for most of the evening.
rest in peace Dick Gregory. you did an amazing job while on this planet.
the New Orleans Saints play the Chargers tonight. i'll be slightly amazed if the Saints do something other than lose.
i'll be on here sometime tomorrow, unless the eclipse kills us all.

my mother got me a new fan for my room after the one i was using got controlled by apathy and decided to no longer rotate. the fan she got me creates such a white noise that i more or less can't hear shit when it is on high. i suppose that will come in handy at some point. i turned it down to the lowest setting last night when i slept and all i know is i have a line in my head of words that i need to get down on paper and i had a dream where someone famous confided in me they were going to kill their parents. i figure it must be a Sunday morning.
Ohio State played like all they needed to do yesterday was just roll out of bed and that was enough to win. if it wasn't for the defense, they would have easily lost that game yesterday. hopefully it serves as a wake up call to not only the players but the coaches as well. maybe the new offensive coordinator needs to be reminded, establish the run and passing becomes so much easier. it doesn't work the other way around. Ezekiel Elliott should not be a decoy. they won by the skin of their teeth, 20-13. they were favored by 34.5 points.
the New York Yankees got some great pitching yesterday and used 2 long balls to beat the Mets 5-0. thankfully, Boston rallied late to beat Toronto, so the lead in the division is back down to 3 1/2 games. hopefully that same scenario will happen today and the lead will get even smaller. the Yankees play tonight on ESPN. i doubt i will watch. between the NFL and the WWE, my plate if full tonight.
the college football yesterday was crazy, the late games especially. i was a little stunned when UCLA came back to beat BYU. and i was really stunned when Ole Miss beat Alabama. that will send the polls into a tizzy.
ROH last night was excellent. anytime the guys from NJPW are involved, it's going to be good.
i also recorded the Austin City Limits episode Foo Fighters did. i suppose i'll watch that one of these days.
time for some music kids:
and now some of this and that:
Manchester United plays Southapmton later this morning. hopefully the boys come away with the 3 points, but i know it won't be easy. at least Wayne Rooney will be back for the game.
the New Orleans Saints play Tampa Bay this afternoon. i hope to god New Orleans wins this game. if they can't beat Tampa, it's going to be a long ass season.
the WWE will put on Night of Champions tonight on the WWE Network. if they were smart, they would have Seth Rollins win both matches tonight against John Cena and Sting. then they would have a legit superstar to build the future around. of course, that won't happen as Cena isn't allowed to lose on 2 pay per views in a row. hopefully they will be smart enough to have Kevin Owens win the Intercontinental Championship tonight. i don't have high hopes for that one either. the match that i hope steals the show is The New Day vs. The Dudley Boyz. that should have a little of everything; comedy, violence, etc. all in all, i'm hoping for a good show tonight. if done correctly, it could be.
on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, The Strain, Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex.
that's all for me today kids. i've got a long one in front of me, hopefully full of victory beers. i do hope your Saturday was good to you. may your Sunday be even better.
i'll be on here tomorrow after i figure out just how many new shows i can fit on the DVR for Monday night.

simply imagine my joy when i'm on the computer and suddenly the internet goes out. add to that the telephone going out as well. thankfully, i wasn't in the middle of typing up poems or watching porn, i was only reading some news. but, you can really imagine how much fun i had when the internet finally came back on, 6 HOURS later. fuck me. i got what shit i could do offline done in the afternoon (bank, post office). and, like usual, once i started doing shit around the house, boom, the fucker comes back on. i learned that trick at the farm. if i ever wanted the phone to ring or someone to knock on the door after i've been waiting for hours, go take a shit. it never fails.
so, once all the updates that didn't happen got over with and i got through the 72 emails i had... today turned into what i wanted it to be... poetry day. i sent out 19 poems today, 5 each to Your One Phone Call and Hiram Poetry Review, 3 each to Dead Snakes, Raw Dog Press and Pink Litter. when i hear back from these places i'll pass along the verdicts.
the light by my computer is dying, so it's sort of like typing in the dark at the moment. good times.
enjoy some music:
Big Brother went as i thought it would last night. i fully expect Jeff to get evicted tonight. as for wrestling, i didn't watch much of ROH. i had already seen it. NXT was really, really good. the main event between Sasha Banks and Charlotte was great:
but the winner of the night for me was Lucha Underground. if you haven't hopped aboard this train, do so NOW. it is shaping up to be an awesome fucking ride:
there was also plenty of funny shit last night as well:
tonight on the DVR will be Big Brother, an incredible episode of Lip Sync Battle that i fear will be one of those things you can't clean from your brain EVER, Married and the new show Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll.
as for now, i'm going to go eat dinner and enjoy what is left of a sunny, hardly any humidity at all, slight breeze, but, as usual, TOO MANY FUCKING LAWNMOWERS running, day. if i had the money, i would turn the whole fucking lawn into a putting green that would NEVER be mowed. the problem is all the elderly fuckers around here play golf and i'm pretty sure someone would peek through my windows and watch me masturbate. much to their horror, that wouldn't make me stop.
enjoy that visual boys and girls, i have more emails to catch up on.

well, i guess we did pretty good at the auction yesterday. mom called me and said we made around $5,000. i thought that was pretty good for all the junk that was there. i have no clue how much my truck went for. hopefully it's enough for me to make a nice big deposit at the bank soon.
my trip into humanity yesterday was sadly uneventful. i did get a good laugh at the grocery store. this woman bought 3 pies. no big deal. i then saw her in the parking lot getting into a catering van. either she's a shitty baker or she's fooling clients and charging them double. i'm sure there's a poem there somewhere.
speaking of that, i heard back from Stephanie at Eye to the Telescope. she enjoyed reading my work, but... and that's usually where i just stop reading. nothing good ever comes after but. needless to say, i have 5 poems back on the unpublished file. i was really hoping for this one as this place actually pays. what a concept.
a quick music break before we get to a ton of pro wrestling:
NXT was pretty damn good, as usual. the main event was easily the best part of the show:
ROH was the same episode from the weekend. if that is how the Wednesday show is going to be, at least i know i don't have to sweat it if i happen to miss the show on the weekend now.
TNA was pretty good. i haven't really watched much for the last few years, but at least last night was worth my time. i haven't always been able to say that:
Lucha Underground won the night for me. 3 very entertaining matches that really made the hour fly by. enjoy some highlights:
another music break to clean your pallet:
i got some good FREE music on NoiseTrade today. i'll provide some links below in the music section. check them out.
i greatly enjoyed the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast today with Stone Cold Steve Austin. if you were a fan of the Attitude era, it's a very good listen.
check it out on notsam.com, iTunes, Stitcher, or the right hand side of this blog.
Value City Furniture came and got the chair mom didn't want today. the guy picking it up looked a little stunned when i told him he was the one that forgot to load it on the truck in the first place. i tell ya, this full beard scares the shit out of some people.
mom will be home later tonight. hopefully she has a good drive home from Columbus.
i did happen to watch Brew Dogs last night. the season finale was excellent. i have always wanted to go to Cabo and never come back. god damn fair skin.
the Yankees got some great pitching from Tanaka yesterday, making his first start since April. they broke out the long ball and won 3-1. i'm sure the sweep made the flight back to New York a better one. they are off tonight and start a series at home with the Angels tomorrow.
i got some Coke at the store yesterday and had some rum and cokes instead of my victory beers. i figured i need to switch it up every now and then.
on the DVR tonight will be The Comedians. i will probably watch some of the NBA Finals that start tonight. most likely, i will stick to my ritual of only watching the last 5 minutes of the game.
a little comedy before i bid you adieu:
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
i got a headache last night that nearly dropped me to my knees. it had to have been when the cold front was moving through. between that and trying to force myself to stay awake, just another weekend of a borderline sociopath.
i did watch the Grammy Awards last night. i thought some of the performances were good. but, the show overall was just ok. i know i am in the minority, but i can't stand Sam Smith's voice. to me it sounds like two cats fighting over a dead mouse. i was happy for Beck. i loved how he was shocked that he won. i felt old watching AC/DC start off the show. amazingly though, i knew everyone that performed. more useless information stuck in my fucking head.
shockingly, i did watch a good number of the shows i wanted to watch last night. i was in and out of sleep, so a few of them i'm going to try to catch tonight. so, it looks like Monday Night Raw is going to get the YouTube treatment tonight. i only got to see the last few minutes of Shameless last night so i HAVE TO watch the rest of it tonight. that was a holy fuck ending. i also want to catch Last Week Tonight and The Jinx tonight. mix in Gotham and a little wrestling, and you have my Monday.
as for the shows i did watch last night... Girls was good. Togetherness had me laughing. i really like that cast. House of Lies was good. Episodes was good. Total Divas was yet another fascinating hour of bullshit. i think i finally got some decent sleep around 5:30 this morning. of course, i was up and checking email 2 hours later.
team USA beat Panama 2-0 in a chippy soccer friendly yesterday. it was a good win as the boys have been spitting the bit in the second half for the last six months it seems. finally, a clean sheet and a good solid effort. here are the goals from yesterday:
the New York Rangers lost yesterday 3-2 in OT. i was happy that they got a point out of the game since quite honestly, they didn't deserve shit out of the game. they were asleep for the first 40 minutes. i am fearing what this team is going to look like when The King gets back from his injury.
i saw 18 cats when i fed them this afternoon. i guess they were a little hungry.
when i saw this last night, i smiled. easily, one of the best shows EVER:
mom just had a realtor over about the farm. he thinks we can get a decent price for it and have it sold by mid April. all i could think is from your lips to God's ears. if we can get anything over $5,000 an acre out here i will be beyond thrilled. that means i might actually have a decent vehicle to drive come the summer. the truck stalled out on me again today while getting the trash cans from down at the end of the lane. good times.
that's all for me today. i hope everyone had a great weekend. hopefully the weather is decent where you are. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

the propane tank is full. the ice has been cleared off the sidewalks. the cats and birds have been fed and forgotten about. i'm effectively blocking the pain in my arm and back with adrenaline and hope. tonight's the night. i know there are only so many times in my life i get to watch the team i have rooted for since my birth to have the chance to go win a championship. to have it be the first one decided in a playoff, which makes it a "true" championship... priceless. there's also the little vow of mine if one of my teams wins a championship, this goatee i've been growing since the last championship will come off. the caveat of course is i will NEVER shave again. so, tonight has many, many consequences. here's the hype video Ohio State put out for the game. needless to say, i'm ready to run through a fucking wall:
hopefully tonight goes much better than yesterday did. Manchester United controlled just about all 90 minutes. they forgot to just keep it simple stupid and score. so, of course, they lost to a team they shouldn't have. they are still in the top 4, barely. i was beyond pissed for most of the rest of the day.
i did get to watch the episode of ROH i slept through. a great episode to start off 2015.
the NFL playoff games were good. i split on picking the games. i'm now 6-2 in the playoffs.
i watched a little bit of The Golden Globes. i did laugh at some of it. i did love Jeremy Renner's line about J-Lo.
the Sunday night shows were pretty good. Girls had a great ass eating scene and not much else. Togetherness i really liked. i think that show will be really good. Shameless was great, as usual. loved the nudity and flirting. House of Lies was good if you remembered last season. Episodes was pretty good. Total Divas was more mindless shit, though i wouldn't mind seeing the uncensored version of it.
other than the game tonight, i might check out Monday Night Raw and the Men in Blazers if the game is going bad for Ohio State. i know "Macho Man" Randy Savage is supposed to be announced for the WWE Hall of Fame tonight. hopefully they do that before the game starts. he's one of my favorites of all-time.
i had a horrible time falling asleep last night. between my bad back and this shitty weather, i might have got 3 hours at best. if Ohio State wins tonight, i doubt i will get that much.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. it will be sometime before the New York Rangers game, i do know that.
i hope everyone had a great weekend. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
peace and chicken grease...

so i checked last night to see what time Manchester United was playing today. i saw that it was much earlier than what i originally thought. so, needless to say, i'm running on a little less than 5 hours of sleep right now.
Manchester United pissed away a few chances in the first half and then hung on for dear life in the second half of a 0-0 draw away at Tottenham. i guess 1 away point is better than none. especially if the goal is to finish the season in the top 4. oh well, not that my bad back could have used that victory beer or anything.
the New York Rangers got me that victory beer last night. Derek Stepan scored all 3 goals (which helps my fantasy team greatly) and the Rangers beat the shitty Devils 3-1. below are some highlights of their 8th straight win:
i did watch a few crazy college football games last night. the basketball games weren't nearly as entertaining.
ROH was excellent last night. the elimination tag team match was great. i love that at least the indies still understand how great tag team wrestling can be.
i did some poetry work last night while i was chatting with the muse. i suppose if i get more rejections than acceptances when i do send out this batch, i'll blame her. i found a couple places that i haven't sent to before. so, i think i'm going to send all this out in the first week of 2015. hopefully i can get the new year off to a bang. plus, that gives me some more time to write some new poems as well.
mom wanted me to watch a YouTube video yesterday that was about the area of Dayton she grew up in. she made a point to point out the house she grew up in. apparently, it never dawned on her or even better, she didn't care to remember, that house was also the house i was molested in as a child. i don't know what made me angrier. the fact she wanted me to watch the video right before the Rangers game was coming on or that it never registered in her head that i might not want to see a video of a place that has some horrific memories in my head. of course, we haven't talked about it, because that's not what dysfunctional families do. as you might imagine, i've been seething with anger for the past 18 hours or so.
today will thankfully be the final game of the New Orleans Saints sorry ass season. i'll watch it simply because i enjoy torturing myself. plus, i'd like to see them actually win again this season. of course, neither the Saints nor Tampa Bay will want to win this game because a loss gives either team a better draft pick next season. so, i'm really looking forward to this shit fest.
other than that, there's a few other games i'll try to watch today. i also have the trash to take care of, cats to feed, and since there are no Sunday night shows on tonight that i usually watch, one long ass shower to take.
i'll be on here tomorrow sometime after i get back from the doctor. i believe it's just the normal end of the year checkup type shit tomorrow. or, maybe he'll surprise me with a prescription for stronger pain pills. those would go nice with the vodka.
hope everyone is having a great weekend. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

the basketball game last night completely drained me. drained me to the point that i was falling asleep at the computer last night as i was checking emails.
Dayton played like absolute shit in the first half. the coach had been telling everyone for 3 days how Bowling Green would come out in this game and just like most teenagers or young adults, the players didn't listen. Dayton was down by 8 at half time. now, this is the part where i truly know i am a genius. as the second half started i told my mother what Dayton should do. just cut the lead down in each 4 minute segment and by the end, they will be right there. when Dayton tied the score at 39, i was feeling pretty good. when Bowling Green rattled off 11 straight points to go up 50-39 with something like 11 minutes left, i was thinking fuck me runnin'. thankfully, Dayton finally showed up with the Dayton team i know they can be. Dayton finished the game on a 17-2 run to win 56-52. hats off to Devon Scott for completely outplaying a NBA prospect last night. Dayton next plays at Arkansas. as much as i would like to think they can win, they better play about 1000000000000% better than have been playing. here are some highlights from last night:
we got home from the game in time to watch the Dan Patrick interview on the Golf Channel. that was pretty good.
i was up late enough to see this last night. i absolutely laughed my ass off. the genius of Ricky Gervais:
i got to see what i missed on The Voice last night. my two locks did make it through to the finals. i have no clue what America sees in Chris Jamison. his voice sounds like dog shit to me. Damien won the overnight vote between all the performers previously voted off to be the fourth finalist. so, all 3 members of Team Adam make it to the finals along with Craig from Team Blake. i'll laugh my ass off if Craig wins it.
i think i have to drive mom to a doctor's appointment here in a few hours, so i thought i better get this out of the way.
tonight should be an interesting night of television for me. i'm looking forward to Lucha Underground tonight. and then, i'm really looking forward to American Horror Story.
currently, i'm getting my Christmas card list together and figuring out who is going to get some goodies. i also have cats to feed and it looks like the birds need some food as well.
if you'd like to get me something for the holidays, feel free to get me ANYTHING from my Amazon.com wish list. you'll find a link to it on the right hand side of this blog.
that's all for me today. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.
