sometimes life becomes this hamster wheel that seems to never fucking end. i've always been the type of person who gets easily bored by that kind of shit. now, pain dulls the senses to the point where that boredom gets harder to shake. and quite frankly, i am at the point where i am in so much pain that i am getting used to that. and that sort of scares me as my pain tolerance is such that i could be closer to death than ever and i would never know it. but part of me knows that being in so much pain that your body just shuts down for a few hours at a time isn't exactly "healthy". as usual, none of it fucking matters. the wheel keeps turning.
the Yankees are rained out tonight so they are going to play a doubleheader tomorrow. so, i imagine that tomorrow's blog will be coming during the first game i guess. unless i get a wild hair up my ass and get the grocery shopping done way earlier than normal tomorrow.
Monday Night Raw was excellent last night.
the USWNT won today in extra time over Germany, 1-0. they will play for the gold medal on Saturday against Brazil.
i guess the USA men's basketball team flipped the switch today at the Olympics. they defeated Brazil 122-87. they will play Serbia in the semifinals on Thursday.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be NXT, Deadliest Catch and Hard Knocks.
i need to go make dinner and at some point tonight, pick up all the trash.
our internet was out for a few hours today, so i've been playing catch up on everything. fun times.

today was definitely the air you can wear right from the start. i actually slept the night in my own bed. that was the first time in a month my back was actually good enough that i didn't need ice and my massage chair at some point. hopefully, i can keep that up for more than just a few days.
the person i'm not allowed to speak of was down here for 2 hours today. it was no surprise to me that my mother's blood pressure was going nuts after she left.
the Yankees pissed away a lead last night at St. Louis and lost, 4-3. they have to face their former teammate tonight. i really hope they end this fucking losing streak tonight.
Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both really good last night.
AEW Rampage was excellent last night.
Real Time with Bill Maher was hilarious last night.
i have watched plenty of soccer today. will probably watch plenty tomorrow as well, especially with Manchester United playing in the morning.
i should be on here tomorrow after the United game and before the Yankees play in the afternoon.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be AEW Battle of the Belts and Jackass Forever.
i did get a little poetry work in. sometime, probably tomorrow, i'll have 13 poems to send out.
i don't have a damn clue what i'm making for dinner tonight. i have no clue what mom wants to eat tonight.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday. hopefully, the weather is better where you are.

i totally forgot Big Brother was starting last night. thankfully, it was already set the record on my DVR. this season will be an All-Star season. i really like the cast this season, so hopefully it will be a good one.
the Yankees split the doubleheader yesterday against the Phillies. they lost the first game 11-7 and won the second game, 3-1. hopefully they will win the series tonight before they move on to that dump in Tampa for the weekend.
NXT was crazy last night.
AEW was crazy last night as well.

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Holey Moley, Don't, Cake and Desus & Mero. i'll watch NXT UK sometime tonight on WWE Network.
i did watch some of the MLS game last night. Portland defeated Philadelphia, 2-1. tonight, Orlando takes on Minnesota to see who faces Portland in the finals.
here are your NBA highlights from last night:
i might watch some hockey tonight as well. who knows, with the Rangers out, i'm more or less just rooting for former Rangers now.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

i think i might have got almost 4 hours of sleep last night. between the Sunday night shows, the Yankees inventing new ways to lose, a long phone call with the muse and my new addiction of watching black women masturbate, sleep just wasn't a priority last night.
the muse had to tell me all about her weekend in Chicago. i laughed, no wonder so many people got shot. she just had to tell me about all the guys she met, all the dick she could have had and the guy that's coming to visit her in 2 weeks. as much as i would love to think that she likes making me jealous and driving me nuts, it isn't that. she simply only thinks of me as a friend. and when the conversations veer into this direction, i know i have fallen into what many women consider the gay best friend territory. this is my personal hell. how to make the woman of my dreams/nightmares think of me in a way that i'm not in the friend territory? you'd think the phone sex, the 3 page letters or the poems would be enough... i figure i'm going to have to let success be the marker i throw down. and that goes against every fiber in my soul. pure fucking hell.
the New York Yankees were up 4-1 last night in Boston and had their closer on the mound. i was watching as i was really hoping to have a drink. silly me. shitty command and a costly error later, Boston had tied the game at 4. i didn't bother to watch the 10th inning, as i knew what would happen. sure enough, Boston finished off the sweep, winning 5-4 in 10 innings. the Yankees are now 9 1/2 games out in the division and should basically start focusing on the wildcard race now. they keep losing and they won't be hosting that 1 game playoff in early October. the Yankees start a series in Chicago tonight against the White Sox. they stink, so of course, i expect the Yankees to struggle.
Big Brother was really good last night. the Hacker competition was a nice twist in the game.
Power was excellent last night.
Sharp Objects was great last night.
the season finale of Succession was really fucking good last night. i certainly didn't see that ending coming.
Last Week Tonight was brilliant as usual.
The Affair was a bit shocking last night. i didn't see that ending coming either, but i certainly want to know what the fuck happened.
Who is America? was fucking hilarious last night.
Our Cartoon President was really funny as well last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.
thank god the Manchester United game yesterday wasn't available on television here in the USA. i looked at the match stats and saw how badly United was outplayed by Bayern Munich. i'm not looking forward to the season starting on Friday.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after i get all the poems out.
i hope everyone had a good weekend.

when Chase Headley homered last night to give the New York Yankees a 2-1 lead over Cleveland, i started to laugh. i think it had been over 100 at bats since his last homer. sometimes the blind squirrel does find the nut. the Yankees got some great defense (what a concept) in the 9th to end their losing streak and win the game 2-1. hopefully they will get a split in the series this afternoon.
ROH was excellent last night.
i did watch a little of George Lopez's HBO special last night. pretty funny.
i also watched a good portion of the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony last night. i am so happy that Morten Andersen finally got in.
i wrote 4 poems last night. i typed them up this morning. i really, really like them. i figure at some point today, i'll go through my unpublished file and figure out what i'm going to send out next.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, The Strain, Ballers, Insecure, Last Week Tonight, Twin Peaks, Ray Donovan, I'm Dying Up Here and Power.
i did watch a little bit of the Community Shield match between Arsenal and Chelsea this morning. i didn't give two shits who won, it was more just background noise.
i did watch most of the German Super Cup yesterday. it followed the usual script anytime Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich play. Bayern scored late and won on penalty kicks. shocker.
the trip to get ink for the printer yesterday was ho hum. i wasn't expecting to spend over $100 on ink, but at least i got some free paper with the purchase.
i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. mom has 3 different appointments i have to take her to, including the first visit with the doctor for her cataracts. i guess i might try to squeeze one in the early afternoon, but don't be shocked if the blog is late as fuck tomorrow.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

thankfully, the cold front that i thought would never get through here finally did last night and took most of the humidity with it. it's at least reasonable outside now.
mom and i went to the grocery store this morning. amazingly, we got out before it was too late in the afternoon. a hearing impaired guy walked past me and then came back and started to motion to his face. i knew he was signing that he liked my beard. i can't wait to see how that ends up in a poem. apparently it was disgruntled woman day at the store. if you check out the music titles in the music section today, you'll find a little poem about my experience.
the New York Yankees broke out the offense last night and won 13-7. they are winning today, 2-1 so far. i'll be shocked if that stays the same.
the 3 episodes of NJPW were really good last night. i could watch those matches from Japan for hours on end and never get bored.
i did catch a little of the opening ceremony last night, mostly because it was on late as hell. it's too bad that Pele couldn't be the one to light the Olympic flame.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH and Austin City Limits.
i will probably watch the USA women's soccer match against France and the USA Men's basketball game against China today.
the Yankees game is now 2-2.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays Leicester City in the Community Shield match at Wembley Stadium. hopefully i will be enjoying a victory beer while typing.

it started raining around 4 in the morning. that was a little more than 12 hours ago. it hasn't stopped since it started. i didn't sleep well, i haven't felt well all day, the sunshine is nowhere to be seen. not exactly the kind of day i need when i really need to be productive. i'd rather curl up into a ball and stay in bed and hope for death. the only thing i think will help the pain is alcohol and i know if i start down that path, there is no coming back for me. and being blessed with the gene, i have no doubt i would be one of those functioning alcoholics that will die a spectacular death. well, come to think of it, why not go down that path? it's not like finding the pleasure in the pain has taken me somewhere i have never been before. broke and lonely. welcome to my 20's again. now you know why i talk to myself all day long. these are the kind of conversations i have. sometimes they become poems, sometimes they become cries for help. neither amount to much in the long run, although i want to believe they are helping keeping the demons away, albeit that's just temporary. my demise is right around the next corner. and god knows, i'm no good at walking a straight line.
the New York Yankees lost last night, 2-1. the kid pitched well enough to win, but thanks to yet another error from Chase Headley and an offense forgetting how to hit a knuckleball, Severino set an American League record in the loss. 7 strikeouts, no walks, 2 hits, 1 earned run. i'd take that in every outing and hope that the fucking offense can score more than one damn run. they play again tonight. CC is pitching. i have no clue how they win this series now. and don't look now, but the next series is with the team closing the gap quickly, Toronto.
NXT was excellent last night. the match between Bayley and Charlotte was so good:
i was also happy to see that the rematch between Kevin Owens and Finn Balor is now going to be a ladder match. that should be fucking awesome.
speaking of fucking awesome, part 2 of Ultima Lucha last night was off the charts fucking great. every match brought something special. the best match, to me at least, was Vampiro vs. Pentagon Jr. the amount of blood and pure fucking chaos truly brought me back to the ECW days of the 90's. it was amazing. it would be a crime if Lucha Underground doesn't get a second season. here are some highlights from last night:
i watched bits and pieces of the ROH episode again last night. i used that to help me get over the Yankees loss. Big Brother was interesting last night. i was happy that James won the POV. now, i have no damn clue who is going home tonight. if they were smart, Shelli would get evicted. for some reason, i don't see that happening. i really hope i'm wrong, especially since her boy toy would still be in the house and Meg has plans for him. to know that Shelli would be at home watching that is just too good to pass up. so, i figure the boy toy gets evicted tonight and i don't get to have any fun.
before i get any further, we need some music:
and now laugh:
tonight on the DVR will be Big Brother, Married, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll and Lip Sync Battle. i figure i will also try to squeeze in the last Daily Show that Jon Stewart will host. hopefully i'm enjoying a victory beer during that.
i'm not looking forward to tomorrow. i believe we are going to the VA to see where my father is buried and see how the fuck we can get a death certificate. my gut tells me that fucker never legally got married again and that he never did another will after he and mom got divorced. and considering it's been 3 1/2 months since he died, his estate should already be closed up. and i really have no clue if the court will use the will he did in 1980 as the legal will or not. i figure i'll have to contact a fucking lawyer to figure all this out. to think how easy this could have been if he would have just killed me when he tried to choke me to death...
enjoy the visual kids.
that's all for me. the drizzle is "supposed" to stop sometime soon. i doubt that will make me feel any better.

maybe 20 minutes after i woke up this morning, there was a call from the mechanic. he said there was a short in the battery in my truck. they put a new one in and it was running fine. total bill came to $130. considering the other place i normally go would have been well over $200 because of labor, i believe i have found a new mechanic. now, just have to put all the radio stations back in. i got a 5 year warranty on the battery, since i know my luck, i may have this damn truck another 5 years. those 5 years were included in the $130. i know that would have been more at the other place. so a big thank you to Noble's Automotive Services.
mom decided she wanted to go to lunch today at the Longhorn Steakhouse. the prices were a little high but the food was excellent. definitely a place i will go to again.
the season finale of Deadliest Catch was really good last night. probably one of the best reality shows ever. the episode of Tyrant last night was really good. there were a couple of moments that certainly caught me off guard. can't wait for next week.
the Yankees lost a winnable game last night, 4-3 in 12 innings. they face yet another great pitcher tonight. hopefully they win tonight as i would love to have a chance to win this series.
got some new free music today on NoiseTrade from American Aquarium. i'll post the link down below in the music section. i highly recommend you check it out.
besides the Yankees tonight, i'll be watching Big Brother, Wilfred, and The Bridge.
found a couple places i have never sent to before while doing some searching on the internet today. so, tomorrow i'll go through the unpublished poems and see how many i can come up with. might need another writing session, but i don't believe i will.
after i get done with this, i need to get on vice.com and see the new episode of The Jim Norton Show. hopefully it is up.
talked to my friend in California today. she's still dealing with some concussion issues. hopefully all the drama in her life can settle down so she can start getting better.
that's all for today kids. hope this finds everyone well.
considering the internet has been slower than shit once AGAIN, i'm pretty happy i was able to get done what i did.
i did go through some poems today and came up with 10 to send out. i want to write 3 more in the next day or so and then i will be able to send to 3 places that i really want to send to.
had a really good email exchange with an artist in Sweden, Janne Karlsson. he enjoys my poetry, i enjoy his illustrations, so naturally we are going to collaborate on some things. hopefully, we're going to blow some minds with this. you can check out his website here: http://www.svenskapache.se/
Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. when most of the show is focused on 2 of my favorites, Daniel Bryan and CM Punk, i'm going to be happy. i did have to laugh at John Cena's remarks last night that he respects the WWE too much to work anywhere else. please. no one else would want you. hopefully someone goes away to make bad movies SOON.
judging from the reports i've seen, i didn't miss much by not watching the Manchester United 1-1 draw in Sweden today. looks like Nani and Evans picked up knocks, no surprise. Zaha was great again, no surprise either. i'm really looking forward to the Community Shield on Sunday.
i might have watched 10 minutes or so of the Yankees game last night. i did catch A-Rod's first at bat, but the Yankees were already losing by then. and each time i checked back it was worse. i believe the final was 8-1. oh, did i mention that their opponent had lost 10 games in a row before last night. i just love that the Yankees are now every shitty team's cure to a bad streak. this season can't end fast enough.
Hard Knocks comes back on HBO this evening. i'll definitely watch that. and it will remind me i need to get cracking on some fantasy football shit.
a speedy recovery to Tony Stewart. first time i had to change my fantasy NASCAR lineup all season. and figures you'd break your leg a few days before a race at a track where you have won 5 times.
that's pretty much it for today. as you'll see from what i was listening to today, i was sitting around waiting for my laundry to get done while playing spider solitaire on the computer because the internet was too damn slow to do ANYTHING online for most of the day.
and mom hinted last night that Frontier Communications fucked up the bill as well. talk about a company that is wishing for some EVIL shit to come their way...

i was feeling pretty damn good. just watched the Yankees win again to sweep away Cleveland. i was just getting ready to open a victory beer when i noticed one of the bird feeders was down. after a big swig i looked a little closer and saw the raccoon that must have knocked it down. so much for the spray fucking working i thought. so, i bolted out of the house and chased the fucker up about 40 feet. i went back inside to enjoy some more of the victory beer. then i noticed the raccoon was getting ready to go back to the bird feeder. it was at this time i really wished my father would have taught me how to use a gun. instead, like a fucking madman, i went out with a hoe and a large rock. this is one of the reasons why i have told my mother i prefer not having neighbors. i just missed the fucker once, but i did scare it up another 10 feet or so.
sadly, i don't think that raccoon understands i'm a very patient person and have nothing but time and gravity on my side. and someone is going to pay for the suet feeder that is now missing. i'll let everyone know if i have a new hat by tomorrow.
very nice wins by the Yankees yesterday and today. just enough offense and good enough pitching. a big complete game today by CC was very much needed. the bullpen could use the rest. a big 4 game series in Seattle starts tomorrow. looks like i will be on west coast time at night for a little while.
Deadliest Catch got me once again last night. having survived blood clots in my left leg and all the hellish pain that went with it, anytime i hear about someone else that has it and is near death... to say i'm lucky is a bit of an understatement. easily, one of the best shows on television.
and i watch Backyard Oil after it just to remind my mother that is where her kin are from. good laughs.
i was pleased when the first 3 people saved on The Voice were the 3 i said had the best chance to win it all. makes me feel like i actually know what i'm talking about. i was a little sad to see Holly from Team Blake go, but it was bound to happen sometime.
watched a little of the hockey game last night. i was pleased that the Kings won as it means more hockey before the finals.
i've got some dishes to do and a raccoon to out wait, so i believe that is all for today.
