 my arthritis was overjoyed yesterday and will be as well today. it rained most of yesterday and it is supposed to today as well. just how i want to spend a holiday weekend...

so, when Ohio State was down at halftime last night, i was not happy. but, i wasn't nearly as pissed as i used to be. Ohio State lost its best WR in the first half. i figured, with a few tweaks at halftime, they would get the job done. sure enough, after trailing at halftime to Notre Dame, 10-7, Ohio State defeated Notre Dame last night, 21-10. and they did it with a suffocating defense in the second half and by running the ball. i don't think this team will be labeled having a lack of toughness this season.

the Yankees had three hits yesterday. Aaron Judge had two of them, including his 52nd HR of the season. as you might have imagined, the Yankees lost last night down in that dump in Tampa, 2-1. 

the USWNT defeated Nigeria yesterday, 4-0.

i liked most of WWE's Clash at the Castle yesterday. other than the fact i couldn't get the English feed to work out in the living room and had to watch it on my computer, i thought it was good. i would have loved to seen Roman Reigns lose the titles yesterday, but oh well.

i will be watching NXT Worlds Collide this afternoon. hopefully, i'll get to watch it in the living room without any problems on Peacock.

first up today will be Manchester United playing at home against Arsenal in a little bit. i really hope United shows up today and can beat the top team in the league.

 today was definitely the air you can wear right from the start. i actually slept the night in my own bed. that was the first time in a month my back was actually good enough that i didn't need ice and my massage chair at some point. hopefully, i can keep that up for more than just a few days.

the person i'm not allowed to speak of was down here for 2 hours today. it was no surprise to me that my mother's blood pressure was going nuts after she left.

the Yankees pissed away a lead last night at St. Louis and lost, 4-3. they have to face their former teammate tonight. i really hope they end this fucking losing streak tonight.

2 wins away from the promised land...

 the New York Rangers won last night over the Lightning, 3-2. i love that the Rangers snapped that winning streak for Tampa Bay. the series now heads down south for Games 3 and 4. the Rangers are up 2-0 in the series. as much as i would love a sweep, all i really want is the Rangers to find a way to win 2 more games in this series. they haven't been to the Stanley Cup final since 2014.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both pretty good last night.

the New York Yankees whipped the Tigers last night, 13-0. hopefully, they will beat them again this afternoon.

the Dayton Flyers play today at home against Davidson. Davidson is the best team in the A10 this season, so Dayton will have to play great to win today. regardless of the result, Dayton will finish in the top 3 of the A10 and get a double bye in the A10 tournament.

it is supposed to get into the 70's today. so, i might actually convince mom that we can turn off the furnace for a few hours.

 i actually got up this morning to piss and was able to fall back asleep. of course, all that means is i was able to get over 4 hours of sleep for a change.
