so, the woman i am doing a book with that should come out in July, texted me last night to tell me she needed some more poems. she then requested one that was David Lynch like. i haven't written anything weird for the sake of being weird in quite some time. so, i told her i would have something to her by the end of the night. when i started putting the dishes into the dishwasher last night, i had a few lines pop in my head. i went to my room and started writing the poem out and was pretty happy with what it turned into being. i sent it off to her and she loved it and will include it in the book. that made me happy. i texted her back and said i guess i still have it. it being that thing William S. Burroughs always talked about. the ego to believe that you are the best to ever do this, regardless if it is the truth or not. now, i just need to squeeze a few more out of the rock and i'll be good to go.
Monday Night Raw was good last night.
Name That Tune was pretty funny last night.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
the New York Rangers won last night over the Lightning, 3-2. i love that the Rangers snapped that winning streak for Tampa Bay. the series now heads down south for Games 3 and 4. the Rangers are up 2-0 in the series. as much as i would love a sweep, all i really want is the Rangers to find a way to win 2 more games in this series. they haven't been to the Stanley Cup final since 2014.
Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both pretty good last night.
the New York Yankees whipped the Tigers last night, 13-0. hopefully, they will beat them again this afternoon.
AEW Rampage was excellent last night.
Real Time with Bill Maher was very good last night.
Pause with Sam Jay was hilarious last night.

i do plan on watching some hockey and soccer today, most likely. i'll be watching WWE NXT In Your House tonight on Peacock.
i did feed the birds this morning. it is suppose to be a really nice weekend. i've opened up the house again today. hopefully, i will be able to do it tomorrow as well.
i should be on here tomorrow in the morning.

i was pretty pleased with all the safety measures at the place i got my haircut. i gave her a pretty nice tip as well. we both laughed at how much hair i had cut off.
i'll be on here tomorrow after a trip to pick up one of my medications. i also need to pick up a few things that weren't on the grocery list (tomatoes, chips, etc.).
that's all for me kids. i need to go figure out dinner.

my fog of depression and pain lifted for a few hours yesterday. i was able to get my laundry done, so that's a plus. but, when you spend most of the day watching golf and tennis hoping to take a nice long nap and that doesn't happen... what the fuck. thankfully, most of the Sunday night shows kept me interested.
the New York Yankees play a doubleheader today in Detroit, they have a game in the afternoon and another this evening. hopefully, they can win both games. honestly, i'm just hoping they don't have to deal with anymore fucking games postponed due to rain.
here are your highlights from Game 2 of the NBA Finals last night:
Billions was excellent last night. the season finale next week looks like it will be amazing.
I'm Dying Up Here was great last night. it was probably the best show of the season so far.
Westworld was amazing last night. best show on television right now.
Succession was very good last night. i think i will enjoy this series.
Last Week Tonight was hilarious as usual.
Total Bellas was good last night.
Drop the Mic was really good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.
Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final is tonight. i will probably check out some of that at some point tonight.
safe travels to my friend Debbie Kirk as she makes her way to Denver to have surgery and begin her treatments for breast cancer. if you would like to donate to help her cover the costs, please go to: https://www.gofundme.com/5m0wfqg help spread the word and tell everyone you know.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after i take mom to her appointment with her back doctor. i get the feeling she's going to need some more injections for her spinal stenosis.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
the weather today has been about as close to perfect as it can be for a June in Ohio. low 70's, hardly any humidity, no pollen flying through the air, a gentle breeze most of the day; the kind of day i'd love to bottle and have all the time. and of course, i spent a good part of it indoors doing my laundry. welcome to my life.
got my package from amazon.com today. so there will be plenty of new music listened to in the next few days.
the Yankees offense finally came to life last night. the bullpen picked up for the starters finally and the Yankees won, 7-4. hopefully a good streak will start before too long.
i did watch a good bit of The Voice last night. my 3 potential winners are Danielle, Sasha, and Michelle, in that order. i'll be interested to see who goes this evening. all the performances were pretty damn close to each other, so it could be anyone.
and thankfully The Voice is only 1 hour this evening, so i will get to Deadliest Catch without missing anything.
i enjoyed Monday Night Raw last night for the most part. well, let me clarify. i enjoyed Daniel Bryan last night. to work 2 big matches and be the star of both of them was absolutely great. he's quickly moving up the ranks of my favorites of all time. i still think 3 hours is too long for a live show, but i do like that they are willing to have longer matches now on television. something that actually lasts longer than one commercial break. and so far (fingers crossed) the majority of these matches have been with guys who can bring it in an entertaining style.
i might have watched 30 seconds of the Bruins destroying Pittsburgh last night. if Boston wins it all, i guess i can take comfort in knowing the New York Rangers lost to the Stanley Cup Champions.
and finally, i did watch most of the second half of the Heat taking the Pacers out behind the woodshed and reminding them who wears the pants in the family. i think the Heat will repeat as champions as i don't think the Spurs can keep up with them when they are clicking on all cylinders.
i'm shooting for later this week to send out some poems and perhaps break out the watercolors once again and let my insanity do some painting.
that's all for now. peace and chicken grease.

Metallica - Master of Puppets
Icona Pop - Iconic EP
