so, i got a haircut today. i think i look a little different.
there's the before...
and there's the after...
NXT was really good last night.
AEW was really good last night as well.
What We Do in the Shadows was hilarious last night.

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Total Bellas, Holey Moley and No Mercy No Malice with Professor Scott Galloway. i'll watch NXT UK sometime tonight on WWE Network.
i was pretty pleased with all the safety measures at the place i got my haircut. i gave her a pretty nice tip as well. we both laughed at how much hair i had cut off.
i'll be on here tomorrow after a trip to pick up one of my medications. i also need to pick up a few things that weren't on the grocery list (tomatoes, chips, etc.).
that's all for me kids. i need to go figure out dinner.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
i flipped back to the game last night just as Aaron Judge was leading off the bottom of the 9th inning with a walk. i stayed glued to the game and experienced nearly every emotion i could by the end of it. the Yankees lost last night to Boston, 4-3. Gary Sanchez missed a walk off grand slam by about 5 feet or so. the sad thing about the Yankees this year was they were way too reliant on the fucking home run. if they simply knew how to have situational hitting, they would be the team moving on. instead, i had to look at video of Boston living it up in Yankee Stadium. talk about a bitter fucking taste.
so with the Yankees eliminated and the New York Rangers still looking for their first win, it was time for a change. so, i broke out the clippers and holy shit, it's a brand new face. i took mom to get a haircut today. when i sat down to get mine, i told the woman just make me look different than when i walked in.
we'll see how long the "normal" goatee lasts.
Smackdown was really good last night.
The Jim Jefferies Show was hilarious last night.
The Voice was pretty good last night.
Mayans M.C. was excellent last night.
the finale of Mr Inbetween dragged last night, right up until the finish. the finish was great.

i might do a little writing here today as well. i mean, i don't sleep worth a shit anymore, so i might as well make my insomnia fucking productive. and i think i have my next poem for my SoundCloud recordings.
so yeah, never a dull moment in the life of a crazy person.
i had a fascinating dream about the muse last night. i sent her a message about it. i haven't heard back. i believe Tom Petty was correct, the waiting is the hardest part.
they have most of the landscaping finished. it looks really good. we're just waiting on another tree that was ordered to show up. and then once that gets planted, it's all done.

so my checking account with Chase got suspended today due to suspicious activity. Debbie had requested me to send her some money out of the donations, so i did. of course, that was my 3rd transfer of money in 6 days, so i can understand why there was some suspicion. of course, i told Debbie back in the beginning how much easier it would be to just have it directly deposited into her account, but what the fuck do i know. so, after 25 minutes of me finally remembering the PIN number to a debit card i haven't used in over a decade and explaining why i am wiring the money, they sent the wire through and unlocked my account. the funniest part of this was the guy's reaction to me not having a cell phone where he could send a verification code to. he was so dumbfounded, he had no clue how to talk to someone from a previous century.
hopefully, since someone gets paid in a few days, i won't have to wire any money for a few weeks. of course, knowing how things ago, i'll probably have a request tomorrow.
here is your World Cup update:
Colombia defeated Senegal 1-0 this morning. Poland defeated Japan 1-0. this afternoon, Belgium defeated England 1-0 and Tunisia defeated Panama 2-1. so now the final 16 are set.
France vs. Argentina, Uruguay vs. Portugal, Spain vs. Russia, Croatia vs. Denmark, Brazil vs. Mexico, Belgium vs. Japan, Sweden vs. Switzerland and Colombia vs. England.
the New York Yankees lost last night in Philadelphia 3-0. they are off tonight and start a series at home against Boston this weekend.
Big Brother was pretty good last night. it's the one guilty pleasure show i allow myself. hard to believe it's fucking season 20 already.
NXT was really good last night.
Lucha Underground was excellent last night.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Big Brother and Lip Sync Battle.
i went and got a haircut today. since summer is really supposed to kick in here soon, i figured i'd go get a new identity. judge for yourself:
can't you tell i just love taking pictures.
since it's supposed to feel like 105 degrees when i normally go to the grocery store tomorrow, i'll be going in the fucking morning. so, if all goes well, (go ahead and laugh), i'll be blogging tomorrow afternoon. at least i won't be missing any World Cup games as the round of 16 doesn't start until Saturday.
that's all for me kids.

i'm a pretty superstitious person, most of the time. and sometimes, when the shit or "mojo" gets bad, a change is in order. needless to say, after watching the Dayton Flyers lose the way they did last night, i went and got a haircut this afternoon. i think she might have lopped off about a pound of hair. just in time for it to get cold again. joy.
the Dayton Flyers lost last night at Mississippi State 61-59. this was after Dayton had dug themselves out of the 21 point hole they were in at one point in the game. but, leave it to their senior leader, who for some fucking reason, still can't dribble with his left hand at the age of 22, to turn the ball over in the final seconds of a tied game. that was Dayton's 26th turnover of the game. hard to win playing like that. they are really missing Xeyrius Williams at the moment. hopefully they will have him back on Wednesday when they play Tennessee Tech. after watching 7 games, i can see why Archie left. this is the team's worst start since the mid 90's.
thankfully, the New Orleans Saints won yesterday, sweeping the season series over Carolina. they simply have the best running back duo in the NFL. both were really good yesterday in the 31-21 victory. that puts them in first place alone in the division. they next play on Thursday at Atlanta. a victory there and they will have a firm grip on winning the division.
i did do a little poetry work yesterday. i have a pretty good idea where my next 40 or so poems are going. that will be my final submission of the year, most likely. i'm shooting for Thursday to do that. once that is done, i can turn my focus on getting my Christmas cards done.
with that being said, if you'd like to be on my list, be sure you email me your current mailing address. i believe there will be some lucky people getting broadsides this year.
the season finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm was fucking great last night.
Shameless was excellent last night.
SMILF was hilarious last night. man, i do miss doing drugs.

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice and The Newspaperman: The Life and Times of Ben Bradlee. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.
judging from the pile of dirty clothes in my room, i believe tomorrow will be laundry day.
i will probably be on here in the morning tomorrow, before Manchester United plays in the Champions League. all they need is a point to win the group. hopefully that happens.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.

so when i last left you, i was on a manic search for a haircut. after i got out of the shower yesterday, i knew there was no chance i could make it to my barber. my mom said she would call the place she goes to and get me in there. i haven't had my hair cut by a woman in something like 16 years. so we went to the place (not sure why mom decided to come along) and this stunning woman was going to be the one to cut my hair. as soon as i saw her, i had just about every dirty movie i had ever seen flash before my eyes. Kelly had a beautiful face, thick body, just about everything my dream woman has. we started chit chatting and then she says something about how her husband would just love my goatee. the first thing i thought in my head is this kind of shit only happens to me. i didn't say much for the rest of the haircut, though i didn't mind the number of times she was rubbing my head to get the hair to go the way she wanted it to. there will be some dirty poems down the line about this experience for sure.
more on public nightmares in a moment...
Undateable last night was excellent.
NJPW was the match between Tanahashi and Okada from Wrestle Kingdom 9. that was probably one of the five best matches of 2015.
The Knick was spectacular last night. if you're not watching this show, you are truly missing out on one of the better shows around.
the New York Rangers won last night 2-1 in Colorado. they started off slow but once they got their legs, they started to control the game. once they got the lead, The King took over. they play again tonight in Arizona.
enjoy some music kids:
and now some of this and that:
Manchester United broke through in the second half this morning to beat West Brom 2-0. 2 goals in a game, holy fucking shit. that was the 5th clean sheet in a row for United. a very nice win to take them into the international break.
after the game, mom and i went to the Dayton Flyers exhibition game. it was a pretty chippy game at times. but, Dayton was playing Saginaw Valley State, so it wouldn't stay a game for long. Dayton has a ton of freshmen this season. thankfully, most of them have a clue how to play the game. that should make it interesting for much of the season. Dayton won 96-69.
now the fun part. for some fucking reason, pissing in public has become a problem for me. not sure if it is nerves. too much pubic hair, fat, unknown health ailment or i have simply become one of those functioning insane people. sadly, i know where i'm putting my money. needless to say, i will be doing laundry tonight.
Ohio State plays against Minnesota tonight. Cardale Jones will be at QB. hopefully he plays his best game of the season and gets it over with quickly.
on the DVR tonight will be Saturday Night Live, Austin City Limits and ROH. i will be flipping between hockey, Ohio State and the Alabama vs. LSU game for most of the evening. and folding clothes and knocking shit out of my underwear.
as i told my mother, when my father told me he married her because he needed someone to knock the shit out of his underwear, i knew i came from the bottom of the gene pool.
i will be on here tomorrow morning, probably after some manscaping and hopefully way too many victory beers.
i'm sure someone is cringing as they now have a visual they just can't shake. if anyone female is smiling, please email me. thanks.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday night. call if you need bail money.

so i finally ventured out today and got a haircut. if my memory is correct, this was the first one since my birthday in January. it feels like my barber took off a ton of hair. this should work good for the dog days of summer. i left the mop on top though. eventually these bangs will fall over my eyes and then some silly YouTube madness will begin.
i was searching for some new music on NoiseTrade last night and found two artists that i wouldn't normally listen to. more on them in the music section. i wanted the music as i got the writing itch last night. i wrote 3 poems in about 15 minutes. that gave me 4 to type up this morning. i really like all 4. i think all of them will be in some submissions before the end of the month.
i wasn't surprised when i heard the Hulk Hogan news this morning. when i saw the actual comments and where they came from (his sex tape), that made me laugh. i'm actually thankful he will be gone from the WWE. i've been long since tired of his act. and i guess i have seen so many fucking racists in my life, that nothing really shocks me anymore. the bigger the person, the bigger the skeletons are. that's a theory that never really fails.
here's some music, enjoy:
the New York Yankees whipped Baltimore yesterday 9-3, to earn the sweep. this is the Yankees best record in i believe 2 1/2 years. they start a long road trip tonight in Minnesota.
i got my wish with Big Brother last night with Audrey being evicted. the new HOH's are Vanessa and Jackie. sadly, i believe Austin is going to be the target this week. he's made the mistake of talking to Jason.
Lip Sync Battle was hilarious last night. Married was very funny. and Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll made me think of my early days as a poet. i was usually drunk when i wrote anything. it was weird to try to write anything sober. eventually though, i got through it.
there was some really funny shit on late last night, enjoy:
tonight on the DVR will be NJPW and Treehouse Masters.
i will be on here tomorrow before the crazy soccer day starts. i believe the Manchester United vs. Barcelona friendly is on at the exact same time when the USA faces Panama for 3rd place in the Gold Cup. might be time for some picture in picture action tomorrow. though, to be honest, i'm much more interested in the United vs. Barcelona game.
i'm probably going to go to the grocery store early in the morning, at least that's the plan mom has. of course, we were going to go today as well but she's still in her pajamas working. as i tell her, she's living the life. and then i duck if she has anything in her hands.
the local festival is going on this weekend. i have lived here since 1997. i have never gone to it. i now live a few miles closer to it. i still probably won't go. though, i will most likely be able to see the fireworks when they go off on Sunday. of course, that's a big if as it is supposed to really rain hard on Sunday. good times.
that's all for me. i hope everyone has a great weekend. remember, tip your waitress and only fuck the ones that cough.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
today became a birthday of getting shit done. i woke up in a decent enough mood and decided to be a glutton for punishment. i started typing up poems. exactly how any asshole who thinks himself to be a poet should spend his time at 7 in the morning on his birthday. in my utopia, i would be getting a blowjob while eating grapes. in reality, i'm wondering why my fingers don't work as fast on this keyboard.
anywho, i sent 16 poems out today. 3 to The Camel Saloon and 6 each to ZYX and The Stray Branch. when i hear back from these places, i'll pass along the verdicts.
i deposited my birthday money today at the bank. i also entered the gift card my mother got me for amazon.com. i'm not planning on getting anything from there until the move is complete. but, once that happens, i feel sorry for the postal service. i also got a New Orleans Saints shirt, some comfy house shoes, a Dayton Flyers scarf, and a book about Dayton's run to the Elite 8 last season. all in all, not a bad birthday at all.
mom and i went to the sports bar for my birthday this afternoon. when the waitress found out it was my birthday, she asked if i was turning 21. i laughed and noticed the ring on finger and thought to myself, if only... the drinks were a little stiff, which i certainly didn't mind.
now for the sports last night... the Dayton Flyers were due for a stinker. of course, they chose to play that one on national television after getting ranked in the top 25 for the first time this season. they got whipped in every aspect of the game by Davidson last night, 77-60. and quite honestly, it wasn't that close. but, shit happens. they are still 15-3. they play Richmond at home on Saturday night.
while Dayton was playing like shit, the New York Rangers were following right along. to say i was frustrated was an understatement. thankfully, New York came alive in the 3rd period and got the game to OT. and then, this happened:
what a great fucking way to go into the All-Star break. here are the highlights from the whole game:
tonight i'm planning on watching Lucha Underground and American Horror Story. i might watch some hockey as well. and then late tonight, i'm going to catch up on some podcasts while eating some birthday cake.
i also got a haircut today. the barber almost didn't recognize me without my goatee. he then asked how old i was. when i told him i turned 39 today, he was stunned. he remembers when my mother brought me in as a child. now, the funny part of this is this may have been the first time we have spoken outside of how do you want this cut in over a decade. after that, we shot the shit about sports for the next 20 minutes or so.
thankfully, my truck started right up today. i hadn't started it for almost a month. of course, i had to put some air in the tires, but it ran great. that takes a huge burden off of my mind.
ok, that's all for me today. i have some birthday cake waiting for me. thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. i truly do appreciate them.
thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

there was more persistent drizzle today. but. my back didn't feel nearly as bad as it did yesterday. i'm guessing it was the victory beer.
the New York Rangers started their season off with a tough task, win in St. Louis. thankfully, they did just that. the top line was brilliant and the goaltending was top notch as well. a big 3-2 win to start the season.
that's the first goal of the season by Rick Nash. his next one was the game winner...
i'll get to see them play tomorrow night in Columbus. two undefeated teams in a building where i don't think i have ever watched the Rangers win in person. hopefully that changes tomorrow. the backup goalie is playing. who knows, maybe that's a good thing.
i picked the football game right last night. sadly, my WR didn't do much of anything in the game. so, i know damn well i'm swimming upstream in a river of shit in that matchup now.
mom changed up her plans today and went into work. so, i changed up mine and got my haircut today. the old guy that has been cutting my hair since damn near my birth did a pretty good job. i can't stand when my hair gets over my ears. it drives me nuts. so i basically get it really close on the sides and a fucking mess up on top.
tonight will be the final national team game for Landon Donovan as the USA plays Ecuador. hopefully he goes out in style. it will be sad to see him leave but he gave us all enough memories to last forever...
after i get done wiping my tears and hopefully drinking a victory beer, i'll be watching The Knick on Cinemax.
did a little poetry work as well today. i think i may have found another place to send some work to. other than that, it was alot of porn and suddenly realizing i'm getting low on lotion.
enjoy that visual.
i'll be on here sometime before i leave to make the trip to Columbus with my mother tomorrow. i hope everyone has a great Friday night and weekend. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

today i turned 38. to celebrate, i gave myself a ridiculous haircut and sent out some poems. nothing quite like being a genius that has grown bored and tired.
as for the haircut, my best way of describing it... it's like a bad toupee. my mother hates it so i immediately love it. we'll see how long it lasts.
as for the poems, i sent out 5 to My Favorite Bullet and 6 to ZYX. more on this in the next post.
the weather has took a turn to shit here. a windchill somewhere in the -15 area. it certainly was not fun clearing off the walks this morning and feeding the cats. i'll hand it to the cats though, they are amazingly all still alive and generally healthy.
i had a good laugh today at all the Manchester United rumors. ah, just love the silly season.
also some juicy New York Yankees rumors going around as well. more on that hopeful good news later in the week.
Monday Night Raw disappointed me last night. it had all the makings of being great but just seemed a step off at times. not surprising, considering the building they were in is a 13,000 seat dump. with the worse parking design ever. sort of happy i didn't go now.
tonight, for my birthday, the New York Rangers play the team i have hated since i was a child, the New York Islanders. sadly, the King is sick tonight, so i'm really hopeful Cam Talbot continues his great play. i'll be really fucking pissed if i'm not drinking a victory beer sometime tonight.
other than that, i'm sure i'll be bouncing between some college basketball, other hockey games, and some NBA games since they are FREE this week. might as well take advantage of it.
hopefully my arm feels a little better tomorrow and i'll set up my new camera and maybe take some shots with it.
a big thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday today. i really appreciate it.
hope this finds everyone well. hope your heat is going strong. let's just say that every heater in this joint will be on at some point tonight.
peace and chicken grease.

i'll start this off by saying i'm a very superstitious person. way past the point of it being quirky... it's more of a psychosis at times. so, when i got the haircut yesterday in the middle of a Yankee winning streak, it was done to tell myself that little mundane things aren't going to wreck my universe.
so, when the Yankees were down last night, 7-2, i more or less was ripping myself a new asshole. then i turn back and the Yankees are winning 8-7. hope springs. then, of course, Mo blows the save, thanks to a horrible throw from Austin Romine and the Yankees eventually lose the game 9-8 in 10 innings. a big thank you to that blind fat fuck lousy excuse of a fucking umpire Joe West for his blown call in the 10th. nothing like yelling like an insane person for 20 minutes about how you hope a man's family dies of AIDS because the dumb ass can't tell what a check swing strike actually is. thankfully, Tampa lost so the Yankees are still 2 1/2 games out of a playoff spot. but, if a losing streak starts, i undoubtedly will bring it all back to my haircut and how it's all my fault. it's a sickness.
i got the result i wanted on Big Brother last night. both cunts are gone. now, the show won't be as entertaining, but at least there should be a winner who isn't a complete douchebag.
as for the NFL game, i'm very happy i'm not playing against anyone who has Peyton Manning this week. and i would feel really good about last night's game if i would have started the TE from Denver who caught 2 TD's instead of having him sitting on my bench. whoops.
the season finale of Wilfred was the usual cliffhanger that i normally expect. didn't expect a death to go along with it, but i'm certainly interested to see where the show goes now.
in a few hours i will be on my way to Columbus to see my sister and some of her friends. plus, the kid that grew up next to me who is now a college graduate and a young woman. i haven't seen her in years. i should feel pretty damn old tonight.
hopefully i get back in time to catch some of the team USA vs. Costa Rica World Cup Qualifying match. if the USA can pull this one off, next Tuesday against Mexico is going to be really sweet.
no matter what time i get back, there's a decent chance the Yankees vs. Red Sox might still be going on. i almost forgot what those games are like when both teams are "good". slow pitch softball games.
and seeing that the first NFL weekend of the season is coming, i might as well get used to either being in my chair watching the television or on the computer checking stats. fun.
to top off everything today, i spent most of the morning with the shits. you simply can't imagine my joy when i go after i have already taken the medication to stop me from going. and people wonder why i rarely like to be in public.
chalk this up as yet another day where i wonder what the fuck i was thinking by telling the 8 year old me no when it came to suicide. just 4 months to go until the 30th year anniversary of that mistake.
hope everyone has a great weekend. for all my soccer (football) friends around the world, here's hoping your national team does well. for all my gambling buddies, start your betting season slow. trust me, it works. and lastly, for the few of you who read this blog and couldn't give 2 shits about sports, i will try to get some poetry and artsy shit for you in the coming days.
until i come to you tomorrow, hopefully without a hangover...

yeah, yeah, yeah, i know what you're thinking. yet another blog post about shit i did today. here's a quick thought, you could always send me money to write about something else.
so i had big plans today to go get a haircut. might not sound like much, but for a person who hates being out in public 99% of the time, it is. so i shaved this morning and was getting ready to take a shower. of course, i had to shit. and i think i might have shit out the last 3 days of food. this made my shower a little more interesting, to say the least. but, i eventually did make it to the barber shop. now, other than a handful of times in my life, the same guy or myself have cut my hair. luckily, there was no wait and the price was the same as the last time i was in there, roughly 2 years ago. $10.50. i left a $3 tip. not bad for a poor fucker. one thing i did notice while driving around, my truck fucking sucks. i do believe it is nearing death. just in time for winter.
only 1 piece of mail in the po box today. and it wasn't for me. tomorrow i imagine the box will be full.
the Yankees last night got their sweep of the White Sox, 6-5. CC pitched better than he had in a long while, David Robertson played the role of 'let's make this shit interesting', which allowed the hammer of god to get his first four out save in 2 years. up tonight is the first of 4 games against Boston.
which brings me to my big dilemma tonight. Yankees vs. Red Sox. start of the NFL season. double eviction on Big Brother. and the season finale of Wilfred. all on at the same time more or less. these are the nights i'm happy i'm just crazy enough to be able to watch them all on one television.
The Bridge last night was excellent. plenty of tension and just when i thought i could take a breath, a vicious car crash that i didn't see coming. i absolutely can't wait to the episode next week.
Duck Dynasty really made me laugh. i believe the beaver in the kitchen sink really had me howling. mom just looked at me and said, i'm not white trash enough for that. good times.
i only have 1 player playing this evening in the Denver vs. Baltimore NFL opener. sadly, my opponents have a slew of players playing. so, i have no choice but to watch.
4 kittens seems to be down to 3 now as the little gray kitten has been missing the last 2 days. of course, it was the adventurous one, so who knows where the fuck it is. it's been so damn dry around here, i'm just hoping it didn't wander to outside of the barn. it wouldn't last long.
that's all for today. best of luck to all my gambling buddies on the first day of losing way too much money to be able to hide it from your wife. to all my fantasy football competitors, may you all lose to me at some point this season. and lastly, i wasn't joking about the money thing. you know my address. feel free to use it.

i heard back from 5AM on my poetry submission from back in August. lets just say i'll really have some fun pointing out where these rejected poems get published.
always fun to get a rejection notice on a Friday. let the drinking begin. especially when you know these were the good ones, the ones you saved to send to a "better" zine. may we all raise our glasses for piss poor taste.
got a haircut today. went into the barbershop i've gone to since i was a kid. the same guy who has cut my hair for over 30 years looked a bit shocked. i hadn't been in for almost a year. feels good to have the mop gone. and, i gave a little better tip than normal as well. it can't be easy running a barbershop in a town that's been dying for the past 20 years.
nice to see the Yankees sweep a shitty team for a change. big series this weekend against Oakland. hopefully the train can keep rolling. and hopefully Ichiro stays hot. he has turned back the clock. must be smelling the playoffs.
thankfully, i didn't change my pick last night in the Giants game. i almost did because of all the injuries. a rare moment where my guts didn't have shit for brains.
laughed my ass off last night at Wilfred and Louie. 2 of the best shows on TV.
hope everyone has a great weekend. if all my sports teams win, i will be flying high. happier than a dog with two pricks.
