from a breezy day in the middle of nowhere...

the random nature of life at times has always mystified me. or perhaps life as individual for so damn long has simply deactivated my senses when it comes to some shit. i don't know. the grocery store yesterday was the perfect example. everyone with their faces stuck in their phones, either checking a list or talking to someone. and here i am, pen, paper and coupons. old school. the only people that look at me are children. i'm the one in their nightmares or the image their parents use as someone to avoid. i suddenly remember why i stopped doing this shit back in the day. of course, now i have no choice. and usually anytime i start to think about being alone i remember the story about the guy on the online dating site that got killed using it. that's when i know that i can't win at this. so why bother playing the game?

i took mom to the doctor this morning. she's going to be off for another 2 weeks, at least. if she doesn't start to show signs of improvement soon, she's going to get a MRI to see what else is going on. good times.

i watched Big Brother last night on an illegal feed out of Canada i found on the computer. the show pretty much went as i expected. Michelle got evicted and Victor is the new HOH. i'll be stunned if he doesn't put up James and Natalie.

the season finale of Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll was excellent last night. season 3 should be pretty interesting given all the possible directions it could go in.

i also watched the documentary Springsteen & I last night. i haven't been able to ever see The Boss in concert, so it was cool to see all the old footage.

Fuck, That's Delicious was hilarious last night. i love when they take the show into the hidden parts of big cities, especially in a place like Australia where i highly doubt i'll ever get to go to.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Treehouse Masters.

2 out of the 3 fantasy football moves i wanted to make came through for me this morning. i like my team a little better now.

team USA plays St. Vincent and the Grenadines in World Cup Qualifying today. this is a MUST win game for team USA. given all the injuries and absences, i'm very interested to see how they play. hopefully i'll be enjoying a victory beer later.

the New York Yankees start a series in Baltimore tonight. just like last weekend, these might as well be playoff games.

i'll probably be on here tomorrow after Ohio State plays Bowling Green. i'm really excited to see how all the kids play on Ohio State this season. they have the lowest number of returning starters in the country.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. if you happen to be in the USA, enjoy your holiday weekend. as for all the Russians that visit this blog, enjoy your vodka.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

away goes the humidity and in comes the football

it felt so good when i went out to get the paper this morning. the air didn't stick to me as i walked. fucking refreshing.

the New York Yankees were down 4-0 last night and i figured, fuck, so much for this. amazingly, they clawed their way back to even the game and eventually won 5-4 in 13 innings. thank god rosters can expand now as i know that pitching staff is tired as hell. they are 2.5 games out of a playoff spot again. they are off tonight and start a series at Baltimore tomorrow. it should be a very interesting month.

Big Brother was pretty good last night. i'll be stunned if Michelle isn't evicted tonight.

Tyrant was really good last night. the season finale looks like it is going to be crazy. You're The Worst was fucking hilarious last night. i absolutely love this show.

NXT was basically just a showcase for Shinsuke Nakamura. the CWC last night was really good. i was a little surprised Akira Tozawa lost. the match between Brian Kendrick and Kota Ibushi was excellent.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, Fuck, That's Delicious and the season finale of Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll. of course, Big Brother won't be on until 1 in the morning because of preseason football, so i'll be following on the internet to see what happens.

one more video for shits and giggles:

i highly recommend listening to Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast. the interview with Gallows and Anderson is fucking hilarious. you can find it by going here:
http://notsam.com/wrestlingpodcast/2016/9/1/wrestling-podcast-97-gallows-anderson-live-in-nyc

i will probably have to go to the grocery store after i take mom to the chiropractor as we're low on bread and milk, etc. i suppose i should take a shower before i venture out into public, so that's all for today kids.

i hope this new month finds everyone in a good place.

laundry done and the weekend approaching...

i got up this morning after a night of pretty shitty sleeping and decided i had to get my laundry done. i know when i'm running out of good underwear, it's time. thankfully, the storms that were supposed to come have held off, so i was able to get my laundry done without my back hurting too much.

my sister's birthday gift arrived today. thankfully it was in a box that the mailman couldn't stuff into the mailbox. i got myself a shirt with her gift, mostly so i could get the free shipping. plus, i don't find shirts in my size that i actually like that aren't wrestling or music related that often.

Big Brother went pretty much as i expected last night. Victor got voted out and then came right back into the game for the third time. i was a little surprised that Nicole won HOH. of course, James gave it to her. so, i expect the exact same two people that were up last week to be up this week.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll was excellent last night. i can't wait to see what happens on the season finale next week.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NJPW and Treehouse Masters.

the New York Yankees start a series with Baltimore tonight. these might as well be playoff games.

i did listen to the latest Sam Roberts' Show podcast this afternoon. you can find it by going here:
http://notsam.com/srshow/2016/8/26/srshow-sammiversary-part-2

i did see the teams that Manchester United got in the Europa League draw. i don't mind the teams, but i don't like how far they will be traveling though.

i will probably be on here early tomorrow. mom has a chiropractor appointment in the late morning. Manchester United and the Yankees will basically be playing at the same time tomorrow. so, early morning is my best shot at getting this done and enjoying the rest of the day.

i hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. be safe and only fuck the ones that cough.

another long day

i knew i wanted to get the grocery shopping done before the storms come tonight. but, i had no clue mom was going to hand me a scroll of items to go get. amazingly, i did manage to keep it under $100 (thanks to some coupons). i didn't take much time to enjoy the scenery today at the store. it's too damn hot and humid today. i wouldn't be shocked if we don't have some strong storms tonight.

the New York Yankees won yesterday 5-0 over Seattle. a great outing from Tanaka and Gary Sanchez went deep again. he even got walked intentionally twice later in the game. looks like someone is going to be a star. the Yankees are off today and start a series at home against Baltimore tomorrow.

Big Brother was pretty good last night. i think Victor will get voted out tonight and then either him or Paulie will walk right back into the house when the jury come back competition happens tonight. it should be interesting.

Tyrant was great last night. the old adage is always true: absolute power always corrupts.

NXT was mostly some highlights from Takeover Brooklyn II and the two dark matches before the event. it will be interesting to see what happens in the coming weeks.

the CWC was spectacular last night. all 3 matches were great. they are now down to the final 8. i don't think there will be a less than fucking awesome match from here on out. Tozawa vs. Gran Metalik, Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Noam Dar, Brian Kendrick vs. Kota Ibushi and TJ Perkins vs. Rich Swann. 4 amazing matches. i can't wait.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother and Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll.

i urge everyone to check out the latest episode of the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast. you can find it by going here: http://notsam.com/wrestlingpodcast/2016/8/25/wrestling-podcast-96-kevin-owens-live-in-nyc

well, i got my fantasy football shit all lined up this morning. i even got some early fantasy hockey shit going.

the birthday gift i got my sister should be here in the next couple of days. i think she's going to like it.

i saw this today and thought it was rather appropriate:

i saw the New York Rangers made a very smart depth move today, signing Brandon Pirri. yet another guy with something to prove with plenty of speed. that's one thing they shouldn't lack this season, if they stay healthy. they have speed on every line now.

that's all for me kids. i really need to take a shower. i've been up since before 7 this morning as mom had an early appointment at the chiropractor's office.

until we meet again.

finally, the weekend

being out in the sun yesterday felt good, but it certainly drained me. i believe i fell asleep around 10 or so last night. of course, that only lasted 30 minutes. i could just feel all the energy drained right out of my body. i suppose that would have been a good time to drink myself to sleep. oh well.

i did type up the 2 poems i wrote yesterday. they are really good. i figure i'll probably have another round of submissions going out before the month ends.

Big Brother went as i expected last night. i can't wait to see the joy on the faces in the jury house when Paulie walks in. of course, the twist announced at the end of the show probably means he won't be there for long. i believe Natalie is the new HOH. i'm pretty sure that is whom the producers want to win.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll was hilarious as always last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother and NJPW.

the USA men's basketball team takes on Spain this afternoon. hopefully they play their best game of the tournament today and win. the winner advances to the gold medal game.

Manchester United takes on Southampton today. hopefully the home opener goes as well as last week's win did. i'm really looking forward to seeing Paul Pogba play again.

tonight, the New York Yankees play the Angels out in California. i'm interested to see how the rookies do in their first true road games.

i imagine at some point i'll be making a trip to the grocery store today. i know both mom and i have prescriptions that are ready to be picked up.

i'll probably be on here tomorrow after i take mom to the chiropractor. hopefully she starts to feel a little bit better.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. take it easy and then take it again.

father time catches us all

i took my mother to the chiropractor today. she has some vertebrae that are fucked up and she needs her right hip replaced. her orthopedic doctor told her that a year ago, but she didn't want to believe him. so, there's a good chance i'll be going to basketball games alone for a few months. i have to take her back to the chiropractor on Saturday. thankfully, i won't be missing anything.

the New York Yankees lost again yesterday, 7-4. that ended what could have been a really good homestand. oh well. they are off today and start a series out in California tomorrow night.

team USA men's basketball team defeated Argentina yesterday 105-78. i didn't think the score was going to end up like that when Argentina was up 10 in the first quarter. thankfully, the coaches remembered that defense actually wins games. they next play Spain.

Big Brother was pretty funny last night. i'm pretty sure Paulie is going to get evicted tonight. i would watch, but it won't air here until 1:30 in the morning because of preseason football. i'll find it online somewhere.

Any Given Wednesday was pretty good last night.

NXT did a really good job of setting up the next Takeover coming up this Saturday. Samoa Joe vs. Nakamura should be amazing. the CWC last night was amazing once again. i think i could watch Akira Tozawa and Jack Gallagher wrestle each other forever and be entertained.

Tyrant was excellent last night. i do enjoy just how brutal the show is at times. i don't think you can do a show about politics in the Middle East and not have violence as a big part of the show. sad but true.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother and Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll.

i listened to Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast today. an excellent interview with comedian Dan Soder going over favorite matches of the past and previewing SummerSlam this Sunday. you can find the episode by going here: http://notsam.com/wrestlingpodcast/2016/8/18/wrestling-podcast-95-dan-soder

hopefully the humidity has gone down from this morning. i'd like to go outside and feed the birds.

i wrote 2 poems last night at like 3 AM. i haven't typed them up yet, but i think i'm going to like them.

i'll be on here tomorrow after Manchester United's home opener. hopefully i will be enjoying a victory beer.

nice of them to issue the flood watch the day before...

when i saw this morning that the national weather service issued a flood watch for tomorrow, i knew they are expecting some holy shit rain to happen. i'm sure it's a case of being safe rather than sorry, or at least i hope it is.

i just watched the USA women's soccer team get knocked out of the Olympics by Sweden in penalty kicks. all i saw of the game was the penalty kicks as i completely forgot the game was on at noon today. oh well, it should be interesting to see what happens to the team now. not a good sign for the first tournament after the heart and soul of your team retires.

the New York Yankees came from behind to win 4-2 last night up in Boston. they took 2 out of 3 in the series, which i think says more about Boston than New York. the amazing thing is the Yankees are now just 3.5 games behind in the wild card race. tonight is A-Rod's last game as a Yankee. they start a series at home against Tampa tonight. it's a bit of a nostalgia weekend as tomorrow the 1996 World Series team will be honored. on Sunday, Mariano Rivera will get his plaque in Monument Park. hard to believe it's been 20 damn years since Charlie Hayes caught that popup.

Big Brother had the chance to be really exciting last night, and then like most of this season, it fizzled. but, after the double eviction that really didn't do much, Victor won HOH again. his plan (really Paul's plan) is to put up Corey and Paulie for eviction. that should do the trick for setting the house on fire.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll was excellent last night. i'm so happy none of my former girlfriends ever owned a chainsaw.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Cypress Hill: Live from Austin.

i did listen to the latest episode of Seton Calling today. a great interview with Horatio Sanz. you can check it out by going here:

i will probably watch the USA men's basketball game against Serbia later today.

i finally shaved off most of my beard yesterday. i still have the long goatee but the rest of it hadn't been shaved in over a month. not exactly comfortable in 90+ heat. but, i did nearly pass out in the shower yesterday. all i could think of as i was drying off was if i fall, how long am i actually going to be down there? mom can't help me up. no one in this pseudo retirement community can help me up. so i toughed it out and made it to the fan in my room. good times.

not sure when i'll be on here over the weekend. Manchester United starts their Premier League season on Sunday. the Yankees play day games on both Saturday and Sunday. i'll shoot for the mornings and hopefully you'll live with getting it in the afternoons.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. take it easy and then take it again.

94 in the shade

it's hard to believe it's been 2 years since Robin Williams died.

the New York Yankees got some hits last night and actually got them with runners on base. they defeated Boston 9-4. tonight will be A-Rod's last game in Boston. i'm sure they will take great pleasure in booing him.

team USA men's basketball team survived Australia yesterday, 98-88. hopefully it's a good wake up call for them.

Big Brother was pretty good last night. i guess the house went crazy last night. hopefully this means Paulie is going to lose his shit on live television tonight during the double eviction.

Any Given Wednesday was really good last night.

NXT was good last night. i think the next Takeover in Brooklyn is going to be glorious.

CWC was absolutely amazing last night. the match between Kota Ibushi and Cedric Alexander was off the charts great. and then to see the crowd chant "Please Sign Cedric" after he lost was great. it only got better when they showed HHH coming out to hug him and walk him to the back. that certainly makes me think that he'll be showing up somewhere in WWE soon.

Tyrant was great once again last night. the reason i really love this show is just how real it feels.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother and Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll.

i did listen to Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast today. listening to Jake "The Snake" Roberts brought back many memories of my youth. i highly recommend it. you can find it by going here:

napping in the heat

nothing quite like a Friday where i start to sweat walking out to get the morning paper. i think i have spent most of today in my room enjoying the air conditioning. this is more of a bunker these days than a room.

i might have some more good news to share on my poems here soon. i'm just waiting on official word. how's that for a tease?

the New York Yankees lost last night 4-1. they are back to .500 like any mediocre team should be at this point of the season. they did get some good news today. Mark Teixeira announced he will retire at the end of the season. that's a nice chunk of money coming off the books and will open first base up finally. the boys start a series at home against Cleveland tonight. and considering that the Yankees took 3 out of 4 from them when i was up in Cleveland, i fully expect the Indians to seek revenge this weekend. plus, they need the wins since Detroit is just 3 games behind them now.

Big Brother went as i expected last night. i'm sure Da'Vonne is happy she made it to jury this time. Victor is the new HOH. i'm interested to see who he nominates for eviction since they are correctly predicting a double eviction is coming.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be 3 episodes of NJPW. that should keep me from watching the opening ceremonies of the Olympics in Rio.

i'm going to try to figure out which poem will be my next Soundcloud recording this weekend. i guess i should also figure out what poem becomes the next YouTube video as well. it ain't exactly easy being creative and lazy.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. it's supposed to be hotter than fuck here, so i'll be indoors for most of it.

too hot to even think

i went with mom to get some banking done today. i know how much the heat fucks with her, so i like to go along as much as i can. after we got that done, we went to lunch. on the way home from there, she decided she wanted ice cream. the a/c in her car sucks, so this was going to be an interesting drive to get the ice cream home without melting. thankfully, i'm a skilled asshole driver. but between the heat, the grease of lunch and the ice cream, i'm ready for a damn nap.

the New York Yankees offense woke up last night and defeated the Mets 9-5. they'll go for the series win tonight at home. hopefully Gary Sanchez gets more at bats tonight. it was nice to see him get his first major league hit last night.

team USA women's soccer team won 2-0 yesterday. their toughest game of the group stage comes up on this weekend against France.

Any Given Wednesday was pretty interesting last night. i'm not a big fan of Caitlyn Jenner, but it was an interesting interview.

NXT was really good last night. it was nice to see Hideo Itami finally come back from injury and i can't wait to see what Bobby Roode does in NXT.

CWC was totally amazing last night. the match between Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa was match of the year quality. i can't wait to see what the next round of the tournament brings.

Big Brother was pretty good last night. our satellite went out for some fucking reason during the middle of it. like all technology anymore, the first thing i fucking do is just reboot the damn thing. sure enough, 3 minutes later everything was working again. thankfully, i already knew what was going to happen on the show. it looks like Da'Vonne is going to get evicted tonight. unless she has the round ticket in her envelope, which would make for some great television tonight.

Tyrant was excellent last night. the twists and surprises just keep on coming.

one of these days i'll be given the green light to...

i'm one of these hyper sensitive fucks who is probably paranoid about his surroundings and whatnot. so, to watch my mother almost get hit by a woman backing out her car because she wasn't paying attention infuriates me. mom got out of the way. like the dumb ass i am, i stood there to see if the bitch would hit me. she didn't. it baffles me how many people don't pay attention ALL of the fucking time. especially when you happen to be behind the wheel of something that can kill. i used to joke with my mother that i'm only living waiting for god to give me the go ahead to thin the herd. i'm too old to joke about it now.

we went out to lunch and to Menards today. i wanted some cheap shelves to try to organize my closet better. that's the weekend project. plus, i needed some better containers for the bird food and whatever else we could find while the sale was going on. we were in there for 2 hours i think. i guess we walked off lunch.

i think my angry side came out last night. both of the poems that got published last night; i thought that they had been rejected already. so imagine my horror when i noticed that i had already sent one off in another submission. thankfully, the publisher that got fucked in this understood and was thankful that i got in touch with her immediately. i'd like to think i have a pretty good reputation built up over the 21 years i've been published. the last thing i want to do is to start shitting on that. so, sorry to say it, but a certain place won't be seeing work from me again.

Big Brother went as i expected last night. i didn't mind seeing Frank leaving. i love that Paul is the new HOH.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll was excellent last night. i'm going to have to find that version of I Can't Stand the Rain they performed. so, so good.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NJPW and Treehouse Masters.

the New York Yankees start a series in Tampa tonight. if they are really serious about making the playoffs, they have to win all 3 games down there. i doubt that happens. if it doesn't, this series should be the last one for a few of the players. the trade deadline is coming soon.

it's raining right now, so my body is starting to take a turn for the worse. good times.

hopefully everyone has a great weekend. i know the community picnic is going on out here. i have lived in this area since 1997. i have been to the picnic exactly 0 times. if i wanted to see a bunch of white people walking around thinking they are having fun, i'd watch fox news all day long.

i figure between my closet and my laundry, my weekend is pretty much set.

apparently, my pain radius is around 100 miles or so

i tossed and turned all night long last night. i couldn't get my back into a comfortable position for most of it. my arthritis was killing me. i figured it had to be raining. when i finally got up, it wasn't raining at all. that rain was down in southern Ohio/northern Kentucky. so i'm guessing if i have to move somewhere so i don't feel the pain of rain coming and going, i'll be going to a desert somewhere. good times.

the New York Yankees pissed away a golden chance yesterday to gain ground in the playoff race by losing to Houston 4-1. in other words, they went back to reality. they are off tonight. they start a series in that dump in Tampa tomorrow.

Big Brother was pretty good last night. i knew Michelle had won the VETO comp, but i was more impressed with how she did it. i'm pretty sure Frank will be evicted tonight, unless the producers decide to pull some bullshit.

Tyrant was excellent last night. the show is incredibly real at times, especially with the drone attacks and the deaths of children, etc. i was stunned by the end of the show, but i should have seen it coming.

NXT was great last night. i love that they have set up Samoa Joe vs. Nakamura for the next Takeover event in Brooklyn. dream match alert. plus, it was so cool to watch Ibushi make his NXT debut.

CWC was excellent last night as well. i really enjoyed watching Zack Sabre, Jr. wrestle. he is fucking amazing.

Any Given Wednesday was pretty funny last night.

if i would have felt better today, i'm sure i would have at least started my laundry. i still have two toilets to clean. good times.

at least the fucking weekend is closer to being here.

i hope this finds everyone hoping that the political season would already be over.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

a morning thunderstorm surely sets the tone

i had the misfortune of turning on the television last night, hoping to catch the local weather. instead i got to hear a snippet of a douchebag scream about this horrible country that apparently only he can save. that to me sounded a bit too much like Hitler for my liking. and it also brings up the point, if this country is so damn bad, why is Trump still here? oh that's right, he makes money off of chaos and despair. but the night did bring back one of my favorite words...

dystopia

i always wondered if i would live long enough to see the book of Revelations. if a certain jackass gets elected, i think i may have my answer.

we had a thunderstorm roll through here this morning. i've been achy since the moment i woke up this morning. good times.

i wrote 3 poems this afternoon and typed them up. i really like them and probably will include them in my next round of submissions.

the New York Yankees came back to reality yesterday and lost 4-1. they start a series with the Giants tonight. i wouldn't be shocked if a trade happened between the two teams. maybe not this weekend, but certainly by the end of the month.

Big Brother went as i expected last night. tonight will be the Battle Back competition. the first 5 evicted houseguests will compete against each other to see who goes back into the house.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll was really good last night. i was happy to see Robert Kelly get more lines this week. he's one of my favorite comedians.

enjoy some music:

now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, NJPW and Treehouse Masters.

i did listen to Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast yesterday. it was excellent. if you want to hear an amazing interview with #BROKEN Matt Hardy and some great insights on the draft, go here:

i saw this picture today and i thought it really summed up things precisely:

i saw that Manchester United lost to Borussia Dortmund over in China today, 4-1. good thing it's only the preseason. i just want them to be ready by the time the games actually matter.

the New York Rangers signed both of their restricted free agents today, Kevin Hayes and Chris Kreider. i really like both deals. the GM had a much better offseason this season than last. hopefully that means a better season, especially in the playoffs this coming year.

that's all for me kids. i need to go take a long shower and see if i can get my bones to stop aching.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. call if you need bail money.

when the air starts to feel like hell

nothing quite like going out to get the morning paper and it feels like it's already 90 degrees outside. i believe the heatwave has started.

the New York Yankees won again last night, 5-0. 4 wins in a row. first time they have been 2 games over .500 since early April. i really hope this isn't causing the geniuses running the team to think they have a chance. they go for the series sweep this afternoon.

Big Brother was pretty funny last night. i believe Tiffany will be evicted tonight although i think the producers will try to make the viewers think someone else is going.

Tyrant was fucking amazing last night. they ended on the brutal murder of the president's daughter, so i really expect the show to go fucking nuts now.

Lucha Underground was great last night. it was the right way to end season 2. plenty of things that could get carried over to season 3 with some great wrestling to go along with it. plus, when you end the show with a man enjoying the blood of his former master and the owner going to prison, the possibilities of where it goes from there is limitless.

WWE NXT was really good last night. 3 great matches that served as a goodbye to some of the people that got drafted to Smackdown. plus, Bayley is simply amazing. she reminds of all the great babyfaces from the 80's.

the CWC last night was great. i really enjoyed seeing some wrestlers i haven't seen ever. plus, it was so good to see Tozawa wrestling in a WWE ring. this tournament is easily the best thing the WWE has done in years.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother and Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll.

hopefully the air conditioning keeps running today. i have some cleaning around the house to do and i don't want to be trying to clean in a fucking inferno.

i'll probably catch up on some podcasts today as well. and who knows, i might watch some baseball.

i hope this finds everyone keeping cool.

i was looking forward to the weekend

i just love getting an email from a editor or publisher that points out a mistake i have made. not saying that i don't want editors and publishers to do this... i'm saying i always beat the shit out of myself for making the mistake in the first place. that's the fun part of having a father that never showed you any love unless you were perfect. so, you can imagine why i am fucked in the head.

i haven't even begun to think about what to write about what happened in France yesterday. sadly, i don't think anything shocks me anymore. i've been immune to death for almost my whole life now. in this rinse/repeat cycle we live in now, it just shows how disposable we as humans truly are in the eyes of other humans. we've already fucked over the planet, now it's time to get what's left.

i did listen to the latest Sam Roberts' Show podcast this afternoon. Sam talked about the incident in France. you can find it by going here:
https://soundcloud.com/samrobertsshow/srshow-nice-france-terror-attack-reaction

Big Brother did have the surprise eviction last night. but, the ladies forgot they have to win the next HOH to have the plan work. whoops. so, basically, nothing got accomplished. that certainly sounds like reality.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll was hilarious last night. i really like this show.

last night was the final taped Smackdown for the time being. the show will be moving to Tuesday nights next week. that should make things a little more interesting. i did like the show last night, mostly for KO and Seth Rollins winning.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NJPW and Treehouse Masters.

the New York Yankees start the second half of the season tonight at home against Boston. i read a report today where it said the GM of the team wants to start trading players away but the owner and team vice president thinks they can still win and want to trade away young talent to get better players for now. no wonder the team fucking sucks this season. hopefully, since they are playing 3 of the better teams in baseball on this homestand, they go on a nice losing streak so the non baseball people in the organization can see the benefits of selling at the deadline.

i saw the New York Rangers signed 3 more players today. they still have 2 big restricted free agents to sign. i like how they have really made the bottom six forwards much better. that should definitely help the penalty killing next season.

i got some great FREE music on NoiseTrade last night. i'll post the link below in the music section.

i don't have any big plans over the weekend. i imagine i'll have to take mom to the grocery store at some point and hopefully, get some writing done.

i hope all of you have a great weekend.
