 so, i decided i would do the blog first today. mostly because my mother said she wanted to take a shower while i was home. i figured this way, she can take one and i'm just in the next room. of course, as of right now, she has changed her mind. good times.

Vice News Tonight had two excellent episodes this week.

the Yankees defeated Oakland last night, 13-4. hopefully, they will do it again tonight.

Big Brother was good last night. Jasmine and Joseph both got sent to the jury house. i believe that Turner is the new HOH.

NJPW was really good last night.

both episodes of Little Demon last night were fucking hilarious.

the New Orleans Saints play tonight at home against the Chargers.

i need to get going to Menards. i have a ton of things to look for, mostly suet for the birds and prices for flooring, etc. for the new bathroom mom wants to do in her room.

and finally, rain...

 so, i got mom to the place this afternoon to get her blood drawn. i had to show her how to get the appointment online and everything, but now at least she has the app on her phone. after we got done there, we went to Perkins for lunch. i had a 20% off coupon. as we were leaving there, we could see the rain clouds rolling in. we got back home and of course, it hadn't rained here. 20 minutes later, we had a thunderstorm warning and showers pouring down. hopefully, this will break the fucking heatwave.

everything went well with mom's appointment with her heart doctor yesterday. her heart is much better than when she had congestive heart failure. of course, this meant they had to change up her meds again. joy.

as for the grocery shopping yesterday, it felt like it took forever. and since i was shopping later, they didn't have everything that was on the list. but, i eventually got everything for the most part. i did get a box of Fairfield baseball cards when i was at Rite Aid. $5 box that had about $15 worth of cards in it. that works for me.

AEW was really good last night.

Big Brother was good last night. sadly, it looks like Derek X is going to be evicted tonight.

American Horror Story: Double Feature was fucking great last night.

my arthritis is screaming for an ice pack and my massage chair, so that's all for me kids.

laundry done and the weekend approaching...

i got up this morning after a night of pretty shitty sleeping and decided i had to get my laundry done. i know when i'm running out of good underwear, it's time. thankfully, the storms that were supposed to come have held off, so i was able to get my laundry done without my back hurting too much.

my sister's birthday gift arrived today. thankfully it was in a box that the mailman couldn't stuff into the mailbox. i got myself a shirt with her gift, mostly so i could get the free shipping. plus, i don't find shirts in my size that i actually like that aren't wrestling or music related that often.

Big Brother went pretty much as i expected last night. Victor got voted out and then came right back into the game for the third time. i was a little surprised that Nicole won HOH. of course, James gave it to her. so, i expect the exact same two people that were up last week to be up this week.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll was excellent last night. i can't wait to see what happens on the season finale next week.

i did see the teams that Manchester United got in the Europa League draw. i don't mind the teams, but i don't like how far they will be traveling though.

i will probably be on here early tomorrow. mom has a chiropractor appointment in the late morning. Manchester United and the Yankees will basically be playing at the same time tomorrow. so, early morning is my best shot at getting this done and enjoying the rest of the day.
