if it was just a little warmer today, it would have been perfect to open up the house some.

a delightful trip into the dark mind of an evil genius or simply the musings of an asshole

i'm going to start this blog off with the WWE Elimination Chamber from last night. i was pleasantly shocked that the whole show was better than i was expecting. of course, what everyone is talking about now is John Cena finally turning heel. teaming with the Rock to destroy Cody Rhodes was not on my bingo card. as one person put it last night, the road to WrestleMania just went from 0 to 100 pretty fucking fast.
today has been one of those days where if i could have slept the entire day, i would have. but, since it is nearly impossible for me to sleep more than 3 hours at a time, i at least got a few naps in.
yesterday, mom had some people over for an early Thanksgiving of sorts. i thought it went pretty well. the food was good. all in all, not bad.
the New Orleans Saints won yesterday at home against the Browns, 35-14.
so, i thought i was going to have this Monday where i was going to try to squeeze everything in. turns out, that wasn't the case. mom wasn't feeling good when i woke her up this morning. so, she cancelled her physical therapy appointment at noon. and then i thought she had an appointment to get the battery on her iPhone changed. but, i guess she thought she made the appointment for today but actually made it for tomorrow and they don't have the batteries in stock. so, she cancelled that as i have an eye doctor's appointment tomorrow. so, i was able to get to the bank without feeling rushed at all. and i got in a decent nap this afternoon.
the New York Yankees lost yesterday at Colorado, 8-7, in 11 innings. they start a series tonight at the Angels.
so, when the Yankees got up 5-0 last night, i was hoping they were going to win. silly me. they must have forgot that the Brewers are fighting for a playoff spot as well. add in some shitty balls and strikes calls and sure enough, yet another fucking Yankees collapse. they pissed that 5-0 lead away and lost last night, 7-6. joy.
so, at 5:45 this morning, a thunderstorm woke me up. it felt like i was a voodoo doll for mother nature. my left leg was throbbing, my right shoulder was throbbing, as was my head. i knew damn well i wasn't going to be able to fall back asleep. fuck.
the New York Yankees won again last night, beating the Royals 3-0. that is 8 wins in a row now. hopefully, they will make it 9 this afternoon.
i was pleased with the two guys the New Orleans Saints drafted yesterday. overall, i think the Saints filled some holes with guys they actually wanted.
i did watch a ton of soccer yesterday as well as boxing last night.
