well, i got a few things done...

 i was able to get to the post office today. i had to mail a book back i autographed for CRK. after that, i went to Kroger to pick up my prescription and mom's new prescription. i wanted to get those today so i wouldn't have to worry about that tomorrow. when i got home, i had lunch and at least thought about doing my laundry. i guess that will have to wait until Thursday. at least i still have clean underwear.

so, the Yankees have this terrible tendency this season to play down to their opponents level. last night was the perfect example as they lost to the White Sox in Chicago, 12-2. thank fucking god i didn't watch any of the game.

April showers bring... apparently May showers...

 so, at 5:45 this morning, a thunderstorm woke me up. it felt like i was a voodoo doll for mother nature. my left leg was throbbing, my right shoulder was throbbing, as was my head. i knew damn well i wasn't going to be able to fall back asleep. fuck.

the New York Yankees won again last night, beating the Royals 3-0. that is 8 wins in a row now. hopefully, they will make it 9 this afternoon.

i was pleased with the two guys the New Orleans Saints drafted yesterday. overall, i think the Saints filled some holes with guys they actually wanted.

i did watch a ton of soccer yesterday as well as boxing last night.

i need to return some things for mom, so i have to go to the UPS Store in a little bit. after i get that done, i think i'm going to swing by Big Lots and see if they have any basketball or baseball cards. i have a $5 off coupon to use.

i do plan on watching some soccer this afternoon. i really want to see what the new stadium in Nashville looks like. i'll probably watch some of the NBA playoffs today as well.

 so, Manchester United started like shit today against the worst team in the Premier League. thankfully, it seemed like they finally woke the fuck up and scored the next 3 goals. of course, it got nervy at the end when it became 3-2, but United held on, against a team they should fucking destroy, for the victory. they are now up to 6th in the league and play Leeds this weekend.

NXT was really good last night.

AEW was really good last night as well.

the finale of The Masked Singer was good last night. i did correctly guess the winner of the show, The Sun.

i did some work on my baseball cards today and last night. i went through all the good ones and separated the rookies from the other cards. i'm really going to be pushing to sell the rookies when 2021 rolls around. 

i decided to put up my Christmas tree today. i figured the living room needed to be a touch livelier. 

i'm a little sad today. the guy who played Boba Fett passed away.
