i always love the days where the back pain stops me dead in my tracks and i can do nothing but put ice on it and hope it fucking works. that was pretty much my morning today. good times.
i did get mom to the hair salon on time. she got her hair washed (both of her shoulders hurt so bad most days it is harder for her to do it; can't bring herself to asking me to help) and got a few dashes of purple in it. as i was waiting, i wrote 4 poems. i typed those up when we got back home. i should have some poems to send out tomorrow to more than one place, thankfully.
NXT last night was excellent.
AEW Dynamite was pretty good last night.
The Masked Singer was crazy as usual last night.
Abbott Elementary was very funny last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage and NJPW.
the New York Rangers play at home tonight against Buffalo.
i will probably watch some of the Bengals at Ravens game tonight on Amazon Prime.
Manchester United won 2-0 today at home in the Europa League. Amad Diallo scored both goals.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
i need to get going and make dinner. i think i'm making some pizza tonight.
until tomorrow kids...

i'm really hoping issue 1 (abortion) and 2 (marijuana) passes in Ohio tonight. if not, i might actually really think about leaving the state i have lived in for 47 years.
i wrote 3 poems today while mom was doing her physical therapy. i typed those up this afternoon. i will hopefully get some poems out by this weekend.
the Dayton Flyers won last night at home over SIU-Edwardsville, 63-47. they play at Northwestern Friday night.
The Voice was very good last night.
Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.
enjoy some music:

here are your NBA highlights from last night:
the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Detroit.
i might watch some of the MLS playoffs tonight. hopefully the Columbus Crew will win their series tonight in Atlanta.
a big thank you to everyone for checking out my latest published poem:
most of the time with my bad back, a little ice and a nap will do the trick. and of course, on the day i need to be on the go and ready, my bad back has decided it wants to be an attention whore. fucking great.
so, the New York Rangers pissed away a 2 goal lead yesterday and lost to Detroit, 3-2 in OT.
The Masked Singer was crazy last night, as usual.
Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT once again.
The White Lotus was excellent last night.
Let The Right One In was great last night.
here are your NBA highlights from last night:
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Monday Night Raw, The Voice, Avenue 5 and The Vow.
i'm hoping i will feel better after i take a shower. if i do, i will be going to the Dayton Flyers game tonight at home against Lindenwood. i think Dayton is favored to win by 32.
the New Orleans Saints play at home tonight against Baltimore.
the New York Knicks play tonight at Minnesota.
i did listen to episode 420 of Notsam Wrestling this morning. you can hear that by going here:
i did remember to turn back the clocks last night. sometime today, i'll get around to checking the smoke detectors.
i did do a little poetry work last night. watch out for another blog post this afternoon about the poems i'm sending out later today.
Ohio State defeated Nebraska yesterday, 26-17. i hated that they never really tried to establish the running game. that nearly cost them the game against a team that really, is only good enough to cover the spread and that's it.
i did watch a few other games yesterday while doing my laundry.
the New York Rangers had their asses handed to them last night in Calgary, losing 6-0. as the coach said after the game, at least we're done playing Calgary this season.
Saturday Night Live was pretty funny last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Axios, Succession, Insecure, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Last Week Tonight, Hightown, the season finale of American Rust, Desus & Mero and Dexter: New Blood.
the New Orleans Saints play today at home against Atlanta. hopefully, the Saints will find a way to win again.
i should be on here tomorrow in the afternoon, sometime after i take mom to get her booster shot at Rite Aid.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.

as much as it pains me to see how many fucking idiots in this country voted for an asshole who is racist and a fucking fascist, i'm very happy that he will be a one term president. now, i'm sure he will sue everyone under the sun and urge all the republican governors to do the unthinkable, which i highly doubt they want that suicide mission, and i doubt he has the stomach to actually concede and leave office gracefully... just like the impeachment, this loss will never go away and will be the right ending for a fucking loser like Donald Trump.
i think i'm more happy that a female will actually be Vice President and it breaks a ceiling that should have been broken ages ago.
Real Time with Bill Maher last night was fucking great.
Smackdown and 205 Live were both pretty good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Saturday Night Live, ROH, Austin City Limits and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2020 Inductions.
so, i was up at 7 this morning to watch Manchester United play at Everton. when United went down 1-0, my first thought was here we go again. thankfully, Bruno had other plans. he had 2 goals and an assist today as United won 3-1. it's amazing, anytime Ole looks like he is going to lose his job, the boys turn out a great performance for him. thankfully, they will go into the international break with some good vibes.
there are a good number of college football games i will probably watch today. Georgia plays Florida. Notre Dame takes on Clemson. and of course, i will watch Ohio State vs. Rutgers tonight.
mom and i had to take a drive this morning to do a favor for my sister. that only took 20 minutes, thankfully.
i did get the water shut off finally to the leaking toilet. that took down mom's stress a great deal. we're penny pinching like the world is ending anymore these days. so, she was happy she wouldn't have to call a plumber and pay weekend prices. i don't blame her.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. the Saints play tomorrow night, so i have a nice big window to get the blog done tomorrow.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday. our long national nightmare will be over soon...

so, the woman i am madly in love with last night told me that she only wanted to be friends. now, i was a bit crushed in the moment, but in reality, i don't have very many friends. so, maybe over time she will come around or maybe i have a good soul i can bounce things off of for the rest of my life. so yeah, i'm sure there will be poems.
speaking of poems, i heard back from Alan at Misfit Magazine. he's taking a break to work on his own shit, so he asked me to send him work in late January. so, those 5 poems are going to be sent elsewhere in the next few days. hopefully, i have a little writing session and i have another bulk submission to send out before all my health shit takes over my life.
physical therapy went well today. my pain is really down from when i started. next Tuesday should be my last session.
the New York Rangers won last night over Detroit, 5-1. they play at Carolina tonight. i'll be tickled pink if they actually win two games in a row, again.
The Masked Singer was really good last night. i got one of my guesses correct last night.
NXT was really good last night.
AEW was really good last night as well.
Cake was excellent last night.
American Horror Story was crazy last night. the season finale is next week.
i did watch NXT UK when i got home today. it was really good.
Manchester United won 3-0 today in the Europa League. that means they are on to the next round of the competition.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Perfect Harmony, Will & Grace, Desus & Mero and Mr Inbetween. our local CBS station has been out for days, so i'll have to find Young Sheldon and The Unicorn sometime tomorrow on demand i suppose.
i might watch some of the NFL game tonight between the Raiders and Chargers.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done. it's supposed to be cold as fuck tomorrow, with a little snow and wind. joy. so much for fall.
that's all for me kids. i need to go figure out what is for dinner.

i do love the fact that the Democrats took back the House last night. that should make Trump's life a living hell, especially since that dumb fuck doesn't understand how government actually works. as for Ohio, i'm a little dismayed at the governor's results. i have no clue what this state's fascination with old white men truly is. and since the new governor is totally in the pocket of the insurance companies, i'm sure all of us with pre-existing conditions are fucked in this state. i often think back to the Mark Twain quote... if voting actually mattered, they wouldn't allow us to do it. the only thing that truly made me happy last night was the city of Dayton decriminalizing marijuana.
thankfully, i had plenty of other shit to watch last night.
i did catch some of the Duke vs. Kentucky college basketball game last night. oh shit, Duke looks like a fucking NBA team this year.
the New York Rangers were down 3-1 last night and i was interested to see what would happen next. thankfully, the Rangers scored the next 4 goals to win the game over Montreal 5-3. that's 4 wins in a row. i really like the progress i have seen from the team so far this season. and honestly, the goal Neal Pionk scored last night was fucking beautiful.
Smackdown was very good last night.
The Jim Jefferies Show was fucking hilarious last night.
the season finale of Mayans M.C. was excellent last night. and the ending perfectly sets up season 2.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, American Horror Story, Total Divas and Lucha Underground. i'll watch NXT, NXT UK and 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.
i'm really hoping the DVR doesn't fuck up tonight as i'll be at the Dayton Flyers regular season opener against North Florida. this should be a bit of a test for Dayton's shitty defense as North Florida will shoot a ton of 3's. that being said, i can't imagine Dayton losing tonight.
Manchester United plays at Juventus this afternoon in the Champions League. i will probably watch some of that, hoping for the best. in case you missed the preview of the match, here it is again:
that's pretty much all for me kids. i'll be on here sometime tomorrow after the guys have finished installing the new blinds in the house.

i have my television set up to turn off if the channel hasn't changed in 4 hours. i know if i wake up and it's still on, i didn't get enough sleep at all. that happened this morning. thankfully, i was able to go back to sleep. when i next saw the clock, it was over 3 hours later. hot damn. this will be as close as i get to refreshed for days.
the New York Rangers came from behind last night to defeat Columbus, 5-3. that's 4 wins in a row. amazingly, they have pretty much dug themselves out of the hole they started the season in. they play tomorrow at home against Boston.
Vice News Tonight last night was all about the Paradise Papers. i urge everyone to find this show on demand and watch it.
The Voice was pretty good last night.
Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. i was a little surprised at Sheamus & Cesaro winning the tag team championship. but, if that produces The Shield vs. The New Day at Survivor Series, i'm cool with it.
Rolling Stone: Stories From the Edge was very good last night. the music was great and i learned a few things from the stories. hopefully tonight's episode will be just as good.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Rolling Stone: Stories From the Edge, The Voice, 30 for 30: Nature Boy, American Horror Story, The Jim Jefferies Show, Drop the Mic and Smackdown. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.
i have to take mom to get some blood work done and a brain MRI today. after she's done with that, i have to take her to go vote. she forgot to send in her absentee ballot. and then after all that, i have to get back here and get the trash done and do something for dinner. thank god i did the dishes last night.
i'm going to bring along pen and paper with me today, just in case a few poems pop in my head.
i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow.

you ever have one of those days where you just have to get the fuck out of the house? today was that day for me. i knew mom needed a bigger flowerpot for this flower she has growing in the kitchen, so there was my excuse. of course, i didn't think i would have to go to 3 different stores to find what the fuck i was looking for. even the Lowe's i went to had fucking Christmas shit all over the place. talk about turning my mood to shit rather quickly. but it did feel good to get a little sunshine and be away from the house for a bit. of course, when i got back home, mom told me that our neighbors called looking for me. apparently my uncle was out on his scooter and it died right next door and he needed to be pushed back home. i went over there after i ate lunch and said shit, i guess missed all the excitement today. that turned into 30 minutes talking about politics and jesus fucking christ, i can't wait until November 9th.
the New Orleans Saints got back to .500 with a 41-23 victory out in San Francisco yesterday. now, the true test comes. they play Denver at home next week. if they win that game, i'll actually believe that they might just have a chance in the division.
the New York Rangers kept the winning and the scoring going last night. they defeated Winnipeg 5-2. this is the first time they have scored 5 goals or more in 5 straight victories since the 1978-79 season. the Rangers went to the Stanley Cup Final that year. they play again tomorrow at home against Vancouver.
even the damn Sacramento Kings won last night, defeating Toronto 96-91. nothing quite like a night full of alcohol...
Westworld was spectacular last night. a very nice twist at the end that should make the show even more interesting now. Insecure was very funny last night. Divorce was very funny as well. Last Week Tonight was fucking brilliant as always. Shameless was great once again last night. Masters of Sex was very good as well.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice, Gotham, Saturday Night Live: Election Special and Vice News Tonight. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw and probably some of the football game tonight as well.
for those of who actually believe in the government, i do hope you vote tomorrow. for those of you like me and don't believe in it, sit back and laugh at everyone bitching about the one who lost. and if Hillary does win and Trump's supporters go ape shit over it, at least the cops will have something to do then. i enjoy chaos a little more than anyone else it seems. but honestly, i just want the fucking election over with. lord knows, people will start running for the 2020 presidency before too long.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.

so when i last left you, i was on a manic search for a haircut. after i got out of the shower yesterday, i knew there was no chance i could make it to my barber. my mom said she would call the place she goes to and get me in there. i haven't had my hair cut by a woman in something like 16 years. so we went to the place (not sure why mom decided to come along) and this stunning woman was going to be the one to cut my hair. as soon as i saw her, i had just about every dirty movie i had ever seen flash before my eyes. Kelly had a beautiful face, thick body, just about everything my dream woman has. we started chit chatting and then she says something about how her husband would just love my goatee. the first thing i thought in my head is this kind of shit only happens to me. i didn't say much for the rest of the haircut, though i didn't mind the number of times she was rubbing my head to get the hair to go the way she wanted it to. there will be some dirty poems down the line about this experience for sure.
more on public nightmares in a moment...
Undateable last night was excellent.
NJPW was the match between Tanahashi and Okada from Wrestle Kingdom 9. that was probably one of the five best matches of 2015.
The Knick was spectacular last night. if you're not watching this show, you are truly missing out on one of the better shows around.
the New York Rangers won last night 2-1 in Colorado. they started off slow but once they got their legs, they started to control the game. once they got the lead, The King took over. they play again tonight in Arizona.
enjoy some music kids:
and now some of this and that:
Manchester United broke through in the second half this morning to beat West Brom 2-0. 2 goals in a game, holy fucking shit. that was the 5th clean sheet in a row for United. a very nice win to take them into the international break.
after the game, mom and i went to the Dayton Flyers exhibition game. it was a pretty chippy game at times. but, Dayton was playing Saginaw Valley State, so it wouldn't stay a game for long. Dayton has a ton of freshmen this season. thankfully, most of them have a clue how to play the game. that should make it interesting for much of the season. Dayton won 96-69.
now the fun part. for some fucking reason, pissing in public has become a problem for me. not sure if it is nerves. too much pubic hair, fat, unknown health ailment or i have simply become one of those functioning insane people. sadly, i know where i'm putting my money. needless to say, i will be doing laundry tonight.
Ohio State plays against Minnesota tonight. Cardale Jones will be at QB. hopefully he plays his best game of the season and gets it over with quickly.
on the DVR tonight will be Saturday Night Live, Austin City Limits and ROH. i will be flipping between hockey, Ohio State and the Alabama vs. LSU game for most of the evening. and folding clothes and knocking shit out of my underwear.
as i told my mother, when my father told me he married her because he needed someone to knock the shit out of his underwear, i knew i came from the bottom of the gene pool.
i will be on here tomorrow morning, probably after some manscaping and hopefully way too many victory beers.
i'm sure someone is cringing as they now have a visual they just can't shake. if anyone female is smiling, please email me. thanks.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday night. call if you need bail money.

i didn't sleep much last night. i didn't have any weird dreams or anything, it was more of a restlessness that comes with the unknown. this is my mother's second bad reaction to the last two medical procedures done to her. it's rather easy for me to think the worst is coming soon. now, while that probably isn't going to happen, i'm the type of asshole that has to be prepared for such events. so, this will be a quicker blog than usual as i have to go shopping. and for someone who hates people as much as i do, i kind of have to get my mind in the right place to go out in the world. so, think of yourself as my therapy.
the NFL game last night was pretty damn boring. i picked the game wrong and my fantasy player didn't do much. thankfully, neither did my opponents. of course, i did have Cleveland's defense sitting on my bench. that will probably come back to haunt me.
The Big Bang Theory was pretty good last night. it did make me think of the 3 school dances i went to in my life. nothing quite like being the awkward white guy with the beautiful black girlfriend. if i only would have learned to dance...
after i get back from the store, i will hopefully get to watch Sonic Highways tonight. i believe the Foo Fighters will be in Austin, Texas for this episode. that should be a good one.
i figure i'll probably watch some hockey and pro basketball tonight as well. my buddy Paul asked me if i wanted to see the local hockey team play tonight. i passed as i really don't want to leave mom alone for long while she's feeling like this.
at least the room has stopped spinning for her.
i got some great music on NoiseTrade today. i'll post the links below.
that's really all for me for now. if something crazy happens at the store, you might see another post from me this evening. chances are that won't happen. i will be back on here before Manchester United plays in the morning.
hope everyone has a great weekend. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.
