well, i didn't see that coming...

the New Orleans Saints whipped the shit out of Tampa Bay last night, 38-3. i fucking loved how they knocked Tom Brady on his ass all night long. my favorite part of the game had to be when Adam Trautman scored his first touchdown of his NFL career. i don't think anyone from Dayton had scored in the NFL in almost 50 years. hopefully, it won't be his last. the Saints are getting healthy and i really hope that means this winning streak is going to last the rest of the season.

the season finale of Our Cartoon President was fucking hilarious last night.

The Good Lord Bird was excellent last night. the finale is next week.

Moonbase 8 was really funny last night.

the finale of Seduced: Inside The NXIVM Cult was excellent.

The Undoing was great last night. i can't remember a show with this many twists every damn week.

Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT as usual.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice, Axios and Industry. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i'll probably flip over at some point and let mom watch some of her Jets vs. Patriots game.

i did listen to episode 316 of Notsam Wrestling this morning. you can find that by going here:

mom had an electrician come out today and look at our lights in the front of the house. i guess the sensors are messed up on all 3 of them. but, they did have an extra wire so they could be wired where i will have to turn them on and off. hopefully, that will work for awhile.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. it's supposed to be nice for at least part of the day tomorrow. then the damn rain comes. fuck.

what is yet another one gone?

i'm a little bummed out at the moment. i just found out Alex Trebek has died. i must have watched nearly every damn episode of Jeopardy! ever done. i always have credited that show with giving me some much damn knowledge that my brain is fucking full. i used to have a woman i was in love with in Michigan that would call me or i would call her every weekday and play against each other. you will be missed Alex Trebek. thank you for all the wonderful memories.

Ohio State defeated Rutgers last night, 49-27. to be honest, i didn't watch much of the game past the second quarter. there was just so much on television last night.

Florida defeated Georgia yesterday, 44-28. you'd never know Georgia was up 14-0 at one point in the game.

Notre Dame defeated Clemson, 47-40 in 2OT. i did watch some of the end of that, as it pushed everything back (local news, SNL).

Saturday Night Live was good last night. you could tell most of the cast was drunk and was just having a good time.

the 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductions were good last night. it really wasn't the same without the performances, but that's yet another thing COVID has taken from us.

Austin City Limits was really good last night. it was from the 2010 performance from John Legend & The Roots.

ROH was really good last night.

enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be the season finale of Our Cartoon President, The Good Lord Bird, Moonbase 8, the finale of Seduced: Inside The NXIVM Cult, The Undoing and Last Week Tonight.

the New Orleans Saints play tonight at Tampa Bay. if the Saints win, they will be the first team EVER to sweep the season series against Tom Brady. i'd love for the Saints to win tonight.

i will probably watch a few games today. mostly, i just want to relax and get ready for that huge game tonight.

i think i actually got some sleep last night. between Biden's victory and some alcohol, i believe my brain was fucking drained.

nothing like having your blood sugar drop out of nowhere...

that is what happened to me this morning. i was going through my emails, and out of nowhere, my blood sugar just dropped like a motherfucker. so, i was trying to get some breakfast made before i really had some problems. of course, mom is trying to tell me all this shit i have to do today while i'm struggling... good times.

so, i had to take her old pills to the police department today. holy shit, the secretary at the front desk was smoking hot. then, i had to turn in the check for the water bill that mom casually forgot about until the day before it was due. after that, i had to go make a deposit at my bank. and then, i had to drive back into town to go to the grocery store to get some shit mom forgot to put on the list last Wednesday. and after that, she wanted McDonald's for lunch. that fact i haven't gotten sick while doing all this running around is getting to be quite the fucking mystery to me. honestly, i wouldn't doubt that there is a secret plan between my mother and sister to have me die first.

it's probably a damn good thing i didn't watch Manchester United yesterday. they lost to Arsenal 1-0. i could just imagine what i would have broken if i would have watched that.

thankfully, the day got better after that.

the New Orleans Saints pissed away a 10 point lead in the final 3 minutes yesterday at Chicago. but, thankfully, they won in OT, 26-23.

the season finale of Desus & Mero was great last night.

Our Cartoon President was hilarious last night. the season finale is next week.

The Good Lord Bird was excellent last night.

the finale of The Comedy Store was really good last night.

Seduced: Inside The NXIVM Cult was good last night. the finale is next week.

i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

it feels like it has been raining for more than 24 hours now...

we had 1.1 inches in the rain gauge this morning. i feel fucking miserable. good times.

the season finale of Lovecraft Country was fucking amazing last night.

the season finale of The Vow was very good last night. season 2 will be here in 2021.

Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT as usual.

Seduced: Inside The NXIVM Cult is basically The Vow all over again, just from India's point of view.

Our Cartoon President was hilarious last night.

The Good Lord Bird was great last night.

The Comedy Store was very good last night.

Desus & Mero was fucking funny as hell last night.

i did watch some football games yesterday. i also spent a decent portion of the day getting my baseball cards in better order.

there's rain on the way...

i didn't get to bed last night until 4:30 this morning. so, i'm going on around 4 hours of sleep and a huge cup of coffee at the moment. good times.

Manchester United started off horribly yesterday. thankfully, they didn't finish that way. United won 4-1 over Newcastle. i'm really hoping that is the start of a great string of games for them.

i did watch a ton of boxing last night, especially the Lopez vs. Lomachenko fight. i thought Lopez won the fight, but not by the huge margin the judges thought he did. Lomachenko finally paid for starting off as slow as he does.

i did watch a ton of college football yesterday as well. thankfully, the Big Ten starts back next Saturday.

Saturday Night Live was not good last night. nothing against Issa Rae, but i didn't find much of the show that funny.

Austin City Limits was a look back at Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble from 1983 and 1989.

ROH was very good last night.

David Byrne's American Utopia was awesome last night. i highly recommend it.

there must be rain on the way...

first off, a little poetry news. i sent off 8 poems today; 3 to The Beatnik Cowboy and 5 to Synchronized Chaos (already accepted for publication). when i get the verdict on the poems, i will pass them along.

my sister did come down yesterday. she got me $25 of baseball and football cards. i paid her for the cards and then opened them. the first box i did was the football cards. there was an autographed card in the box, which is going for around $30 (Greg Ward Jr. rookie autographed card). i showed that to my sister and she of course couldn't give two shits. all in all, for my $25 i think i got around $75 worth of cards. i did get my order from Topps.com yesterday as well. i ordered another box of 2020 Topps Big League Baseball. i got the Aaron Judge figurine i was hoping for this time. i got a ton of good cards between that box and the 2020 Topps Heritage box i got. that $45 spent got me around $200 worth of cards. i'm still in the process of getting everything in order. it's going slow, but i'm getting there.

i watched two college football games yesterday. both were crazy as fuck. Oklahoma defeated Texas 53-45 in 4OT and Alabama defeated Ole Miss 63-48. when the fuck did the SEC become the Big 12?

ROH was really good last night.

Austin City Limits was supposed to be the Yola episode last night. instead, it was the H.E.R. episode that i have already recorded.

Saturday Night Live was pretty funny last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, Lovecraft Country, The Vow, Our Cartoon President, The Good Lord Bird, The Comedy Store and Desus & Mero.

Game 6 of the NBA Finals is tonight. i might watch some of that, most likely the ending for sure.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i know mom mentioned something about going out to look at cellphones. my sister said something yesterday about a buy one get one promotion going on somewhere. and i know mom wants me to finally have one. i don't really care one way or another. if i really wanted people to be able to contact me 24/7, i'd already have one. oh well.

while washing my hands...

i threw my back out this morning while washing my hands. i was just starting to put soap on my hands when i felt my back just give way. so, i know what i'll be doing the rest of the day. joy.

the Yankees won yesterday over the Marlins, 11-4. the last game of the season is today. if the Yankees win, they will be the 5th seed in the playoffs. if they lose and the Blue Jays win, the Yankees will be the 8th seed in the playoffs and playing down in that dump in Tampa.

ROH was really good last night.

here are your NBA highlights from last night:

here are your NHL highlights from last night:

i loved that there were some major upsets yesterday in college football.

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, Lovecraft Country, The Vow, Last Week Tonight, Power Book II: Ghost, Our Cartoon President and Desus & Mero. i'll be watching WWE Clash of Champions on WWE Network for most of the evening.

the Saints play tonight at home against the Packers. i'm really hoping the Saints play better than they have in the first two weeks and win.

i might watch some of the NBA tonight.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i'm guessing in the afternoon.

i now have an account on Topps.com. i figure it's going to be easier to get cards on there than trying to get lucky at the stores. of course, with all the backlogs in shipping, i have no clue when the two boxes of cards i ordered last night are going to arrive.

well, that was fruitless...

i had to go out and pick up some pills for my mother today at the grocery store. i figured, since i was out, i'd check out the Walgreens across the street and see if they had any baseball cards. i remember getting a jumbo box there a month or so ago. of course, they were all out. i decided to check at Rite Aid where i live to see if they had any. nope. well fuck.

the Yankees lost to Boston yesterday, 10-2, but thanks to Seattle losing to San Diego, the Yankees did clinch a playoff spot. they start a 4 game series with Toronto tonight. hopefully, they get back to winning so they can at least have the first round of the playoffs at Yankee Stadium.

the finale of Love Fraud was good last night.

we've had an amazing stretch of weather where we have been able to open up the house and really let it air out. good times.

i'll probably be on here tomorrow sometime before Manchester United plays in the EFL Cup.

i'm afraid what mood i might be in if i got on here after the game.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

at least the day got better as it went along...

so, when i was last on here, it was right before Manchester United was going to play yesterday. thank fucking god i didn't watch the game. United lost to Crystal Palace 3-1. great. maybe this will be a wake up call to the club to sign some fucking people. or, maybe the owners want them to become an afterthought.

here are your highlights from the NHL last night:

here are your highlights from the NBA last night:

thankfully, the New York Yankees played great last night. they defeated Boston, 8-0. the winning streak is up to 10. the winning streak against Boston is up to 12. and the magic number to make the playoffs is down to 1. hopefully, the Yankees will get the sweep today.

welcome to Sunday...

my sister has turned into an old woman. we had dinner yesterday around 5. i'm not quite sure when my sister became a senior citizen... and the dinner of course was a large one because she doesn't eat hardly anything during the day. so, of course, my blood sugar was up this morning. joy.

the Yankees won again yesterday, 2-1, in 10 innings. they will go for the sweep of the Orioles this afternoon.

ROH was excellent last night. i love the Pure tournament.

Coastal Elites was pretty funny last night.

to be honest, none of the college football games really interested me yesterday. maybe next week, that will change.

i did watch that UFC event yesterday from Brazil. other than that, i think i watched a ton of Maine Cabin Masters and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. i can tell you that i'm going to lose my mind without any sports pretty quickly.

been a busy boy here in the last 15 hours or so...

before i get to everything else, a little poetry news to pass along... i heard back from the folks at Chantarelle's Notebook on my poetry submission from earlier this month. they decided to pass on the 5 poems i sent. so, last night, i decided to figure out where my next batch of poems would be going. i sent out 13 poems earlier today; 3 to Red Eft Review and 5 each to Horror Sleaze Trash and Heroin Love Songs v2.0. when i hear back from these places i will pass along the verdicts.

the Dayton Flyers started off a little sluggish yesterday against Duquesne. for only the second time this season, they trailed at halftime. apparently, Coach Grant reamed their asses at halftime and the boys responded. Dayton won 80-70. and given that 3 of the top 4 teams lost yesterday, Dayton could be moving up to the top 4 teams in the country. what a time to be fucking alive. Obi Toppin scored 28 points in the game, which put him over 1,000 points in his career. he achieved that in just 60 games. Dayton plays on Tuesday night at George Mason.

the New York Rangers won last night over San Jose, 3-2. Igor Shesterkin made 44 saves for his 7th win in a row. not bad to win 9 of your first 10 starts in the NHL. suddenly, the Rangers are 4 points out of a playoff spot now, with 2 games in hand. the trade deadline is tomorrow. i have no damn clue if the Rangers are going to sell or buy.

here are your XFL highlights from yesterday:

ROH was pretty good last night.

Manchester United defeated Watford today, 3-0. Bruno, Martial and Greenwood got the goals. United are now three points out of 4th place in the league with 11 games to go.

i'll probably flip between sports today and try to get some more rest.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hope your Sunday is even better.

i should be on here in the afternoon tomorrow.

so the sun shows up on the day everyone stays inside to watch a football game...

so add my left knee to my current aches and pains. it locked up while i was walking in the parking lot last night after the basketball game and has been barking ever since. joy.

Manchester United played a toothless 0-0 draw yesterday at home against Wolves. fuck me, this team is so fucking frustrating to watch anymore.

the Dayton Flyers defeated Fordham yesterday, 70-56. 20 wins by the first of February. that's only the second time EVER Dayton has done that.

the New York Rangers won in Detroit last night, 1-0. it was The King's first shutout since 2017.

Saturday Night Live was better than i expected it to be last night.

Austin City Limits was excellent last night.

ROH was pretty good last night.

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Outsider, Avenue 5, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Our Cartoon President and The Masked Singer.

the Super Bowl tonight is between San Francisco and Kansas City. hopefully, the Chiefs will win.

i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow. mom has a doctor's appointment in the morning. so, i might be on here in the early afternoon.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully, your Sunday will be even better.
