the NFL playoff games yesterday were fucking crazy. but, given that Tom Brady is out of the playoffs, i am a happy boy. it is pretty amazing that this will be the first championship week in the NFL in 12 years that don't involve Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers. the Rams defeated Tampa Bay, 30-27, after they tried their hardest to blow a fucking lead. the Chiefs defeated the Bills, 42-36 in OT. that was one of the craziest fucking games i have ever seen in my 46 years of life. so, the Bengals will play at the Chiefs for the AFC Championship and the 49ers will play at the Rams for the NFC Championship. it would be pretty crazy if the Bengals and the 49ers play in the Super Bowl, especially since both times the Bengals have made it, they have lost to San Francisco.

what a weekend...
The Righteous Gemstones was fucking hilarious last night.
Somebody Somewhere was very good last night.

on the DVR tonight will be two episodes of Kenan, That's My Jam and Monday Night Raw.
the New York Rangers play tonight at home against the Kings. i'd love to see the Rangers win tonight.
so, i went to the bank today to deposit the money from my birthday. after that, i went to Rite Aid to get some stuff for mom. and after i got done there, i finally got my hair cut. it feels so much better now.
i should be on here tomorrow after i go to the post office to sign for some mail that they don't trust the carriers to actually deliver. i'm guessing it is from the property in Florida that sold. i haven't decided if i am going to the Dayton Flyers game tomorrow night or not. kind of depends on the weather and my bad back. good times.

the joys of NyQuil...
i found some NyQuil last night and i actually got some decent sleep. of course, i was in a fog until this afternoon.
i did watch that UFC event yesterday from Brazil. other than that, i think i watched a ton of Maine Cabin Masters and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. i can tell you that i'm going to lose my mind without any sports pretty quickly.
ROH was pretty good last night.

the governor is closing all the bars and restaurants here. i said when this all started that within a week we'll be chained in our homes.
my first load of laundry just got done in the dryer, so that's all for me kids.

life with a splitting headache...
i have had a splitting headache since i woke up this morning. i thought maybe some fresh air would help. nope. maybe going out and driving would help. nope. going to the bank and depositing some money into my checking account. nope. it's a little warmer and much more humid here today. i figure that's part of the headache. i'm hoping a quick afternoon nap will do the trick here in a bit.
the New York Yankees lost last night at Arizona, 3-1. CC Sabathia did get his 3,000th strikeout in the game. hopefully, the Yankees can split the series this afternoon.

just looking at it makes my back hurt...
i think we ended up with something like 8 inches of snow. it still is snowing actually, so that number could get higher. i think they said on the news last night that it's the most snow we have got from one storm in a couple years. i haven't even bothered to go outside to get the paper yet. that's going to be an afternoon outing today i guess.
the New York Rangers won yesterday, for the first time ever in Brooklyn, over the Islanders 2-1. as i saw one Rangers fan put it online, okay, now lose the rest of them so we get a high draft pick. my sentiments exactly. the Rangers play tonight at Columbus.
NXT UK Takeover Blackpool was excellent yesterday.
i did watch a good portion of the NFL games yesterday, although the snow was fucking with our satellite feed. the Chiefs defeated the Colts 31-13 and the Rams beat the Cowboys 30-22. today, the Chargers play at the Patriots and the Eagles play at the Saints. more on that in a bit.

Manchester United plays Tottenham here in a little bit. if United wins, their new manager will set the club records for most wins in a row to start a coaching career at the club. i'd love to see it.
i really hope the New Orleans Saints win today at home against the Eagles. i know it will be much closer than when the Saints destroyed them in the regular season. if the Saints do win, they will host the Rams next week in the NFC Championship.
the Dayton Flyers play today at home against UMass. i'm not going to the game, mostly because it's on television and i'd rather not drive out in the snow. i'm hoping Dayton can keep on winning.
i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i'm hoping i'll be hungover from a day full of victory liquor.

what is sleep again?
my father would have been 72 years old today. thank god he isn't.
i have spent the majority of the day helping the muse deal with some corporate racist shit at her job. that's always fun. thank god i have plenty of experience helping black women with their grievances against stupid white people. that's also sad that i have been helping since the early 90's with this shit.
the New York Yankees lost yesterday at Tampa 3-2. when they don't win the division this season, all these fucking losses to Tampa will be the reason. but, it does look like the Yankees are making another trade. nothing is official yet, but getting a solid starter and the best reliever on the market and staying under budget is good business i think. the Yankees start a series tonight at home against the Royals.
Manchester United played one of the crazier games i have seen last night against AC Milan. the game finished 1-1. so they went to penalty kicks after that. 26 fucking kicks later, United won 9-8. fucking crazy.
NXT was great last night.
Lucha Underground was really good last night.
Big Brother was good last night. i don't care who gets voted out tonight, Kaitlyn or Rockstar. either will have the chance to get back into the house. hopefully, they fail.
