a rainy start to the weekend...

we got 1.4 inches of rain overnight. that made for a fucking miserable night of sleep for me. Biz Markie dying at the age of 57 didn't help things either. thanks for all the laughs over the years. you will never be forgotten.

the Yankees lost yet again to the Red Sox last night, 4-0. that's 7 losses in a row to them. i doubt much changes tonight either.

Smackdown and 205 Live were both really good last night. so great to have the fans back.

the season finale of Betty last night was good.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH.

Game 5 of the NBA Finals is tonight. i will probably watch some of that.

i might watch some of the MLS and the Gold Cup tonight as well.

i did write a poem before i went to bed last night. i had a woman send me a message on MeWe yesterday asking me to become her sugar boy for $3,000 a week. so, as you can imagine, that poem wrote itself.

hopefully, it won't be raining when my sister is here today. and hopefully, she brings the umbrella for the table on the back porch.

i will probably be on here early tomorrow.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday.

until tomorrow kids...

what is yet another one gone?

i'm a little bummed out at the moment. i just found out Alex Trebek has died. i must have watched nearly every damn episode of Jeopardy! ever done. i always have credited that show with giving me some much damn knowledge that my brain is fucking full. i used to have a woman i was in love with in Michigan that would call me or i would call her every weekday and play against each other. you will be missed Alex Trebek. thank you for all the wonderful memories.

Ohio State defeated Rutgers last night, 49-27. to be honest, i didn't watch much of the game past the second quarter. there was just so much on television last night.

Florida defeated Georgia yesterday, 44-28. you'd never know Georgia was up 14-0 at one point in the game.

Notre Dame defeated Clemson, 47-40 in 2OT. i did watch some of the end of that, as it pushed everything back (local news, SNL).

Saturday Night Live was good last night. you could tell most of the cast was drunk and was just having a good time.

the 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductions were good last night. it really wasn't the same without the performances, but that's yet another thing COVID has taken from us.

Austin City Limits was really good last night. it was from the 2010 performance from John Legend & The Roots.

ROH was really good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be the season finale of Our Cartoon President, The Good Lord Bird, Moonbase 8, the finale of Seduced: Inside The NXIVM Cult, The Undoing and Last Week Tonight.

the New Orleans Saints play tonight at Tampa Bay. if the Saints win, they will be the first team EVER to sweep the season series against Tom Brady. i'd love for the Saints to win tonight.

i will probably watch a few games today. mostly, i just want to relax and get ready for that huge game tonight.

i think i actually got some sleep last night. between Biden's victory and some alcohol, i believe my brain was fucking drained.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hope your Sunday is even better.

life with a splitting headache...

i have had a splitting headache since i woke up this morning. i thought maybe some fresh air would help. nope. maybe going out and driving would help. nope. going to the bank and depositing some money into my checking account. nope. it's a little warmer and much more humid here today. i figure that's part of the headache. i'm hoping a quick afternoon nap will do the trick here in a bit.

the New York Yankees lost last night at Arizona, 3-1. CC Sabathia did get his 3,000th strikeout in the game. hopefully, the Yankees can split the series this afternoon.

here are your highlights from the NHL playoffs last night:

here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs last night:

i think all my favorites are still on The Voice, so i can't really complain about last night's show.

Deadliest Catch was really good last night.

The Jim Jefferies Show was hilarious last night.

Smackdown was ok last night, but could have been so much better.

205 Live was pretty good last night.

Miz & Mrs. was really funny last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, What We Do in the Shadows and Dark Side of the Ring. i'll watch NXT, NXT UK and WWE Worlds Collide sometime tonight on WWE Network.

i do plan on watching some of the NBA and NHL playoffs tonight.

i'll be on here tomorrow after i get back from taking mom to her doctor's appointment south of town. she has already told me we're going out to eat after the appointment. so, with my luck lately, i'll be driving back home in rush hour traffic. joy.

that's all for me today. i need to go ice my back down (still hurting from yesterday by the way) and take a nap.

until tomorrow...

now that the anger has gone down some

i was really looking forward to the Manchester United game this afternoon until i saw the names Cleverley and Young in the lineup. i just can't understand what the fuck David Moyes is doing. it is now at the point where it is fucking baffling. if the asshole had a soul or an ounce of respect for the fans of the club, he'd step down and apologize. it is beyond fucking clear that he can't handle the pressure of being the manager of this club. now, i know damn well he won't step down as he has 5 1/2 years left on that contract and he wants every fucking penny due on it. i don't know if i can stomach watching this club become just average. oh, by the way, they lost 2-0 today to a team that wasn't playing all of their regular players. and quite frankly, United should have lost by more. they absolutely fucking sucked today. from the manager on down to the players to god knows who else. they all fucking sucked.

now that that is out of my system, on with the show...

like an old man, i fell asleep watching wrestling last night. i missed most of The Voice and probably half of Monday Night Raw. thankfully, by the time the late night shows were over, what i missed was on YouTube. The Voice is back on tonight. i will be in and out of that as the Dayton Flyers are playing tonight. i really hope they win or this day will just be a total fucking waste.

i did watch the first episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers. it almost felt like a long Saturday Night Live skit. i guess with Amy and Fred there, that was inevitable. i think Seth will do fine with the show, but i can imagine it taking awhile to get his legs firmly on the ground. the set did make me laugh as it screamed of a public access show set. if that becomes a running gag, i'm all for it. though, i do imagine i will be checking out CBS more often now that Jimmy Fallon is at 11:30.

i'd like to address the countless number of people that have invited me to join Twitter. if the day ever comes that i get a cell phone, an idea i have resisted for more than a decade, i will give in and join. but not until then. so unless one of you want to buy me a smart phone, it's not happening anytime soon.

the polar vortex is making another appearance here in the next few days. windchill below zero again and snow that needs to be shoveled by the weekend. i guess i'll start getting my back ready now. joy.

i should have known today was going to go south on me the moment i was wiping my ass this morning and i started to shit again while wiping. enjoy that lovely visual right around dinner time.

that's all for me. i'm off to go have some dinner and get ready to watch some basketball. and hopefully not be angry again later tonight.

be well. be creative. be smart enough not to write any death threats on a public forum to a public figure. be lucky with how you deal with that anger. be a calm drunk. be ready to smoke a bong.

peace and chicken grease my enemies.
