i can feel the rain coming...

i got up this morning a little after 7. i could feel the rain coming right as i sat up. joy.

so, mom's physical therapy yesterday went well. i wrote 3 poems while i was in the waiting room. i typed those up when i got home. they will be part of the 8 poems i'll be sending out on Monday.

the Yankees lost last night to Tampa Bay, 9-0. what is the point to calling up a top prospect and not play him? makes no fucking sense. the lead in the division is down to 5 games. the Rays are just 4 games behind the Yankees in the loss column. this is starting to feel like one of the greatest choke jobs in history.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both pretty good last night.

AEW Rampage was excellent last night.

i did watch the last few minutes of Old Dominion and Virginia Tech last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

nothing on the DVR tonight.

i am looking forward to watching WWE Clash at the Castle today. it's the WWE's first big European event in 30 years.

tonight, Ohio State starts its season at home against Notre Dame. hopefully, Ohio State wins.

the USWNT plays Nigeria today in a friendly.

i'm sure i will watch plenty of college football and soccer today.

i did watch some of Serena Williams last match last night.

i should be on here tomorrow before Manchester United play Arsenal at home.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday.

a restless night...

so, mom and i got into it last night. she has this very passive aggressive way of taking her pain out on other people. she called me an ungrateful shit last night, which i found pretty amusing. i then said i guess you'll have to find someone else to get your groceries next week. i went to my room after that and didn't see her again until this morning. she of course is acting like last night never happened. for me, it is a reminder of my youth. no matter what i ever did, my mother and father always had a way of letting me know it was never good enough. i can't imagine why i have spent the majority of my life wanting to die.

the Yankees overcame Chapman blowing another save last night to win in the bottom of the ninth, 6-5, over the Royals. the rubber game of the series is this afternoon.

here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs last night:

here are your highlights from the NHL playoffs last night:

in the Copa America last night, Brazil defeated Colombia, 2-1. today, Bolivia plays Uruguay and Chile plays Paraguay.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, the season finale of Clarice, the season finale of The United States of Al, When Nature Calls, Holey Moley, the season finale of Dark Side of Football and Desus & Mero. at some point today, i will watch NXT UK on Peacock.

the landscapers are out here today to dig out the one flower bed and change it completely. i guess they are putting rock in with some plants. all i care is they put my bird feeders back where i had them. they are hoping to have it all done today.

i will probably watch some of the NBA and NHL playoffs tonight.

i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

at least the day got better as it went along...

so, when i was last on here, it was right before Manchester United was going to play yesterday. thank fucking god i didn't watch the game. United lost to Crystal Palace 3-1. great. maybe this will be a wake up call to the club to sign some fucking people. or, maybe the owners want them to become an afterthought.

here are your highlights from the NHL last night:

here are your highlights from the NBA last night:

thankfully, the New York Yankees played great last night. they defeated Boston, 8-0. the winning streak is up to 10. the winning streak against Boston is up to 12. and the magic number to make the playoffs is down to 1. hopefully, the Yankees will get the sweep today.

ROH was pretty good last night.

Austin City Limits was the episode with Buddy Guy and August Greene that i deleted a few months ago.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, Lovecraft Country, The Vow, the finale of Love Fraud, Our Cartoon President and Power Book II: Ghost.

i will probably watch some of the NFL today and maybe some of the NBA tonight.

i did watch some college football yesterday.

it almost felt kind of weird yesterday to not be knee deep in baseball cards for most of the day. that being said, i did send out 4 poems yesterday to The Rye Whiskey Review. when i hear back i will pass along the verdict.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hope your Sunday will be even better.

it was fun while it lasted...

the New York Rangers lost last night to Carolina, 4-1. the Rangers had a lead in the series for all of 3 minutes. they were outworked the entire series. so, i'm not going to bitch and moan about this or that, Carolina deserved to win. now, i can only hope that the Rangers get the #1 pick in the NHL Draft and hope that The King wants to stay or wants to go win a cup somewhere else and agrees to a trade. joy.

i nearly forgot that Manchester United was playing today in the Europa League. it's the second leg of their match from months ago. they are up 5-0 going into the match today. it's currently 0-0, so i haven't missed much.

Deadliest Catch was really good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Big Brother, NXT and AEW.

the New York Yankees play a doubleheader today at Philadelphia. i'd be thrilled if they can win both games today.

i did write 4 poems last night after the Rangers loss. thankfully, none of them had to do with hockey. i typed those up and i should have enough to do another round of submissions here soon.

the grocery stores were pretty quiet today. i had to go to 3 stores to get everything on the list. i did manage to keep everything around $100 though.

i did pick up some baseball cards today. it was one of those cheap packs at the drugstore. i wasn't expecting much out of it. there was a few hits, including one card going for $8, so that made me happy.

i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

at least the snow didn't stick to anything...

when i got up this morning, it was snowing. i hung around the house, hoping the pharmacy was going to have both of my prescriptions ready by the time they said they would. of course, they didn't. i went to the grocery store anyway. the roads weren't bad and there wasn't many people out and about. by the time i got home, i had spent nearly $200 getting the food and pills and more importantly, the liquor for this weekend. as i told my mother when i got home, we're fully fucking stocked for the Super Bowl. and then she tells me how her back doctor called and asked if she wanted to move her appointment up to Monday at 11 AM? i shot her a look and said let me guess, you said yes? of course she did. so yeah, that's going to be fucking fun.

i did type up those 10 poems last night. i really liked a few of them. i should have a nice stack of poems ready to send out early in February.

i did listen to the latest episode of Notsam Wrestling last night. you can find that by going here:

The Unicorn was really good last night.

never forget

to everyone who has served this nation, died in battle, wounded, scarred mentally for your entire lives, etc., happy Veteran's Day. i heard a veteran say last night that never forget means more to a veteran than thanks for your service. so, never forget.

yesterday was one of those days where i laugh that i'm still alive in 2018.

Ohio State defeated Michigan St. yesterday in a god awful game. as soon as i saw Gus Johnson was calling the game, i knew some crazy shit was going to happen. sure enough, Ohio State's punter was easily the best player in the game. it was like the team turned back the clock a decade. and i love that Michigan St. talked all this shit this past week about revenge and could only score 6 points. Ohio State won 26-6.

the Dayton Flyers destroyed Coppin State last night, 76-46. i went to the game alone and honestly, might have said 5 words the entire time i was there. the game was really fucking boring. the conversations around me were as boring. hell, the only excitement for me was the old white woman next to me that had her ass up against my leg for the entire first half. most action i've got in years.

the New York Rangers won in Columbus last night, 5-4 in a shootout. the Rangers have got points in 6 straight games. that's much better than i was fearing this season would start.

Shut Up and Dribble was excellent last night. it went over the LA riots and really focused on Michael Jordan's inaction during the time, and how Craig Hodges and Mahmoud Abdul Rauf got blackballed out of the league for voicing their concerns. i lived through all of this and remember it way too well.

Saturday Night Live was very funny last night.

Austin City Limits was excellent last night.

ROH was really good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Axios, Camping, Last Week Tonight, Ray Donovan and the season finale of Kidding.

Manchester United plays Manchester City today. if United wins, not only will i be pleasantly shocked, i will be drunk for the rest of the weekend.

the New Orleans Saints play today down the road from me against the Bengals. hopefully, the Saints will keep their winning streak going today.

the muse and i had a fascinating conversation last night that lasted until 4 in the morning. that certainly brought back some memories.

i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. i know most things will be closed to observe Veteran's Day. and, i want to get some writing done. so, probably late afternoon maybe, maybe sooner.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully, your Sunday will be even better.

who drinks coffee and then gets sleepy?

i swear, i think i'm the only person on earth that fucking drinks coffee and then gets sleepy. it never fails. i'll have a nice cup of coffee and in under 2 hours i'm slowly drained and tired. or, maybe my body is just slowly rejecting all of life.

you would think this morning would have been a good one. 3 different poems published. another morning alive. yet, i opened a fucking email from my former best friend that was written last night and that has left a shitty taste in my mouth. i'm guessing she had to write the email to somehow, in her mind, be the better person before she dies. she wanted to forgive me. that made me laugh out loud. this coming from the cunt who went to the authorities and said i was stealing from her. i couldn't give two shits what stage your cancer is or how close you are to dying. in my world, you are already dead.

i did watch a good portion of the New York Rangers game last night. although it was a pre-season game, if the team is going to play like that all season, they will at least be entertaining. the Rangers defeated New Jersey 4-3 in OT last night.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, The Jim Jefferies Show and Mayans M.C.

the New York Yankees game that was supposed to be played this afternoon is now going to be played tonight. all that does is make Boston wait a few hours before celebrating.

i'm getting ready to go out with mom and get a new television for the living room. i think after we go to Best Buy she'll want to go out to lunch.

i will be on here tomorrow before Manchester United plays in the Champions League.

welcome to the days where college basketball runs my life...

i told my mother this morning that i filled out a bracket but didn't enter any contests. this will be the year where i probably only miss 2 or 3 games.

i started the day off getting the first 3 games right, so...

the First Four games last night weren't as good as the games on Tuesday. Texas Southern defeated NC Central 64-46. the game didn't feel even that close for most of it. i did get a high school feel from the game as NC Central had one white player on the team. that sums up my basketball life for the most part. plus, the cheerleaders certainly reminded me of my time at a black high school as well. i'm sure those dirty thoughts will end up in some poems soon. the battle of the bands stunk as it was completely unorganized and a clusterfuck for the most part. in the second game, Syracuse defeated Arizona State 60-56. mom wanted to leave before the game was over, so i didn't get to see the last 2 minutes or so. i had the game on in the car. i think she wanted to leave early so she didn't have to sit in traffic like the night before. one of the things i pride myself in is never leaving early. so, i was clearly pissed. i was actually hoping the game would go into OT so i could really be an asshole about it.

Waffle House was a little better last night than the night before. amazingly, the meal i got was less greasy than the night before, even though it probably shouldn't have been. of course, mom ordered too much food and started putting shit on my plate. i wonder how i got fat?

The X-Files were pretty fucking creepy last night. the season finale looks like it should be pretty damn good next week.

NXT was really good last night. i'd love to see Adam Cole and Pete Dunne fight forever.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Gotham, Will & Grace, Lip Sync Battle and Atlanta.

i'm sure i will be watching plenty of college basketball tonight as well.

the New York Rangers came from behind last night and defeated Pittsburgh 4-3 in OT. to say i was shocked when i got home and saw the highlights would be an understatement. this team can't even fucking tank the season correctly.

i see the Yankees won this afternoon over the Pirates 9-5. looks like i'll be drinking tonight.

i did listen to the latest Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast this afternoon. you can find that by going here: https://soundcloud.com/srwrestling/srw-177-wade-keller-the-build

i will be on here tomorrow, probably sometime after a trip to the grocery store.

well, the snow started earlier than expected...

i think it started snowing a good 2 hours before the weather assholes on television thought it was going to. i figure that will probably push us into the 6 to 8 inches of snow instead of 2 to 4. so, i think i made the right decision by not going to the basketball game tonight. now, i'm still debating if i should get the mail or just wait until tomorrow. of course, if we get 8 inches of snow, i might be waiting until Sunday. good times.

i wrote 8 poems last night. that brings my total for the month up to 11. i typed the poems up this afternoon. my printer went on strike for a portion of this afternoon. i laughed when i saw the troubleshooting step for me was to just wait. i waited a good 20 minutes and sure enough, the printer started working fine. crazy shit. i do like a few of the poems. i am planning another round of submissions around my birthday. i at least have 1 place in mind to send to for that. i'd love to get in the routine of sending to a place i have never sent to with each round of submissions, but i don't think that's going to happen.

The Big Bang Theory was really funny last night.

Young Sheldon reminded me that i never got into D&D when i was a child.

Life in Pieces was hilarious last night.

Will & Grace was fucking hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, NJPW and Treehouse Masters.

the Dayton Flyers play at home tonight against VCU. i'd love to see Dayton win as that would be the first time all season they have won 2 games in a row. the game is on ESPN2 tonight.

i figure the rest of the evening will be watching it snow and probably taking a shower.

i'm going to try to be on here before the New York Rangers play tomorrow afternoon against the Islanders.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. hopefully you're somewhere nice and warm, with a drink in your hand.

i guess i'm too bitter to be naive

i really have no clue why it took my uncle's family so god damn long to get him into hospice. was it that they were too fucking naive about cancer and death? were they so fucking selfish that they had to have him at home? it never made any damn sense to me, but it was never my place to say anything. so my uncle went to hospice yesterday. they cleaned him up and 10 minutes later he was dead. i figured his goal was to make it to Christmas and since he achieved that, it shouldn't be too long... the service is on Wednesday. i'm not looking forward to it. my uncle died without ever knowing what one his daughters did to me. now, i put that on my mother since she chose to not tell anyone about it. so, there's an ocean of feelings for me going into this one. i respected my mother's wishes of not telling him myself, but now i get to spend a funeral where the cousin that molested me will be just a few feet away. the stages of grief, they are all fucked up for me. i went a quarter century not being around my uncle, always thinking that my mother and father had told him why. and then to think that we moved next door to him so he could live out his final days around his sister. i have no fucking clue if we are staying here or not now. i was thinking in the car today that there's probably only 5% of me that's left that doesn't want to die. i have no fucking clue how much longer i can live for that 5%. and i know damn well Wednesday is going to be a shit show where i'm supposed to have a brave face on and not embarrass anyone or make a scene. it's not easy for me to swallow everything that has happened to me and pretend it never fucking existed in the first place. it's even harder when you know the people that are supposed to love you simply don't give a shit. and to think all i ever really wanted was for someone to say i'm sorry. nearly 35 years later, i doubt sorry fucking cuts it now. and when i've exhausted the poems about it, where the fuck do i go from there? so yeah, the funeral will be on Wednesday. i'll be highly medicated.
http://www.gilbert-fellers.com/notices/Donald-Holland

i thought The Golden Globes was pretty good last night. being a very liberal person, i enjoyed all the shots at the incoming king. i would say president, but i know better. i was really happy for Donald Glover. i thought Atlanta was a really amazing show. the two awards last night proved it.

The Affair was a bit of a holy fuck episode last night.

the football games went how i expected them to last night. next week's games should be better.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

sure, i know Alabama is playing Clemson tonight for the national championship. if Ohio State was playing, i'd be watching. i suppose the football game will be on during commercials.

i did write 7 poems today, shocker. i certainly wasn't in the mood to type them up. maybe i'll do that later tonight.

i got the artwork i ordered from Etsy today. it's fucking awesome. here's a link to the shop:
https://www.etsy.com/shop/JamesLinckeCreations

i went to the grocery store this afternoon, mostly just to get out of the damn house. for most of the time i was in the store, i was sort of like a zombie. but then i happened to turn up an aisle and be behind this beautiful black woman wearing tight sweatpants. something about watching as ass shake that snaps you right out of being a zombie. yes, the poem is already written.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays. and i will probably have some more poems written and all of them typed up (hopefully).

my mom is depressed, which i completely understand. as i wrote today, sometimes when we grow old we enter a perpetual state of grief. i'm only 40, so i don't know if there's any fucking way out of it yet.

oh what could have been

i waited until i calmed down some before i got on here today. if i wouldn't have, i believe someone connected to Manchester United would probably be seeking my arrest. i was beyond fucking livid watching them get knocked out of the Champions League today. it's sad when i have grown accustomed to the shitty officiating, even worse when i know anytime United is lucky enough to score, the ball when end up in their own net in just a matter of minutes. today was the fucking perfect example of that. so now it's off to Europa League and most likely another embarrassing exit without a damn trophy. fuck me.

i have all the trash picked up around the house. i even cleaned the fucking toilets. mom had to go into work tonight so we won't be getting the trash from next door until late tonight. that should be fun.

i really enjoyed The Voice last night. i have no damn clue how they will cut the 9 to 4. i'd love to see Jordan, Amy, Jeffery and Madi make it to the finals but i can't imagine no one from Blake's team making it to the finals. needless to say, tonight's show is gonna have some drama.

Monday Night Raw had the chance to be really good last night. instead, they flushed that chance right down the fucking toilet and kept doing the same stupid shit they have been doing. with the new computer though, i was able to get on my Google+ group for wrestling and at least have some fun on the live chat. Breaking Ground on WWE Network after Raw was pretty good, thankfully.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice, The Muppets and the season finale of Scream Queens.

i got a couple of Christmas cards today that were sent to my old address. i guess i need to get my ass in gear and get my cards out.

i talked to my good friend out in California today. first time we had spoke in months. i guess she's moving to Virginia and is doing some adult shit now, like helping to raise children, etc, etc. i'm really happy for her.

i made my cousin a mix cd today. he's 11 years old. i didn't try to corrupt him too bad with this one, but i can't wait until we get to the hip hop/metal years. that will be fun.

that's all for me today kids. i was really hoping Manchester United was going to win today and lift my spirits from their usual holiday hate the fucking world level of depravity. i suppose that will be the job of alcohol now. and yes, i know it's a depressant. you have to mix the pills in to really have some fun.

i hope this finds everyone with their pants around their ankles, dreaming of taking a shit in their neighbor's yard. enjoy the visual.

thunderstorms and dead phones

we had a nice big thunderstorm come through here and it has wiped out our phones. or, the old ass phones have died. either way, i don't care because i rarely ever use the phone anymore. but, it looks like something else we'll have to do to once again join the 21st century.

the rain hasn't killed me yet. my back isn't tight, yet. but my arthritis is licking its chops. hopefully the rain will cool everything off. it's 88 degrees on Sept. 2nd. fucking ridiculous.

the New York Yankees won 3-1 last night. a couple of timely hits (what a concept) and some good pitching. they play again this afternoon. hopefully they can get the win, which would end this road trip with a record of 5-1. i'll gladly take that.

the season finale of Tyrant was excellent. i thought for so long that it was just going to be a paint by the numbers finale and then the ending blew me the fuck away. and if you know the back story of the character that did the shooting, it makes so much more sense. i can't wait for season 3, if there is to be one. FX has a tendency to end shows after 2 seasons.

Total Divas was the usual nonsense. the show did make me laugh a few times, mostly at Paige:

Hard Knocks was great last night, mostly because of the i will never be able to erase this image from my mind of Vince Wilfork:
keep in mind he has on the overalls, cowboy boots and nothing else. enjoy that visual.

anyone else like a little music with the pain:

and now some of this and that:

tonight on the DVR will be Big Brother. i am really interested to watch NXT tonight as the Dusty Rhodes tag team tournament starts. if done right, that should be excellent.

the phones are working again. i guess the storm was the root of the problem.

and now the thunder is starting back up again and my bone spurs are acting like they are at a Slayer concert. fuck me runnin'.

that's all today for me kids. i hope this finds everyone with a cold drink in their hands and their pants around their ankles.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

creativity strikes me right between the eyes

in my sophisticated white trash upbringing, one of the phrases i would always hear about would be about a wild hair getting up your ass. i suppose, you could say that happened to me today. i turned on some music, poured myself a glass of lemonade and went to an extremely dark place in my head. 20 minutes later i had 6 poems written. i haven't typed any up yet, just in case something else pops into my head. but, after reading a few of them, i think i may have some really great shit on my hands. now there's a visual. hopefully i bang out a few more of them by the weekend.

the New York Yankees pissed away a 6-2 lead last night to lose 8-6 in extra innings. they play again tonight in Washington to hopefully split the series. there's little to no chance i'll watch any of the game.

The Voice went exactly as i expected it to last night. i even got the order of the top 4 correct this year. i really wanted Meghan to win, but i know that the housewives look at Sawyer as fresh meat. i might like him more once his voice gets a little bass in it.

Deadliest Catch last night was great and sad at the same time. heroin addiction is one of the worst things on earth. and to see it played out like that on television was pretty riveting and sad.

David Letterman had a fucking great show last night. first, you can never have a better guest than Bill Murray:

and then end it with something magical and strange:

i can't wait to see what happens tonight on the final show. i'm sure i will laugh as much as i cry. i've been a Letterman fan since i stayed up WAY past my bed time to watch him when i was like 7 or 8 years old. that's over 30 years. and i know some of my crazy sense of humor comes from Dave. hopefully the final show tonight is a classic.

tonight is a true clusterfuck for me on television. all at the same time: New York Rangers play Game 3 down in Tampa, a new episode of Lucha Underground (thank god i have a DVR now) AND NXT: Takeover Unstoppable on the WWE Network. i will probably have to watch wrestling later in the night due to the hockey. of course, if the Rangers play like shit once again and take stupid penalty after stupid penalty, i'll gladly switch over to the wrestling.

speaking of wrestling, i urge everyone to check out this podcast when you get a chance:
listen on iTunes, Stitcher, the RSS you can find on the right hand side of this blog, or at notsam.com. it is a fascinating interview with my favorite wrestler of the last decade.

here's some comedy for you on a fucking gloomy day:

and in case if that wasn't enough videos for you:

the Sacramento Kings will be picking 6th in the NBA Draft this year. at least they didn't get shifted down like most years. and this is going to be a deep draft. they should be able to get someone that will help immediately at number 6.

that's all for me today. i don't think the sun has come out at all today. good times.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

enjoying the sun

so i saw my father's obituary in the paper today. i was actually shocked that i was listed as his son. of course, i did get a chuckle with the errors in it. now i really believe that he told his new family what he wanted them to believe and we were left with the truth. i went online to see it and saw two pictures of him one of my aunt's posted. that's the first time i saw him since 1995. pretty much looked the same as i remembered him. i suppose i'm happy that he found a second wife and from everything i've heard, enjoyed his second life. but, i can truly say i'm much happier knowing that he is dead. seeing the obit today lifted a fucking cloud, that's for sure. the funeral is Tuesday at 10 am. i told my mother it was sort of fitting my father would be buried on Cinco de Mayo. kind of a tip of the hat to his former drunken self. that brought back the memory of him passed out on the bathroom floor at the house from getting way too drunk. i think i was like 5 at the time. can't imagine why i started drinking at 6.

i got an email from another one of my aunt's yesterday as well. not exactly defending my father, but sort of in a way. i was pretty proud of my response. i didn't use any dirty words once. lord knows, i wanted to. the link to this blog has been given to all of my dad's family by now. that also means they should all have my new address. so, there really isn't any excuse for ignoring me and my sister now.

my sister and i are going to the funeral. i think mom might go as the designated driver since there is going to be some drinking afterwards. probably in a bar. we are Irish after all.

yesterday was one of the craziest sports days i can ever remember. it started off for me with Manchester United pissing the living shit out of me once again. losing 1-0 to West Brom. how the fuck can you have nearly 80% of the possession for the entire game and never score? oh, that's right, RVP missed a penalty kick that he rarely ever misses. just another one of those days. that makes 3 of just another one of those days in a row. not good.

the New York Yankees won yesterday 4-2. they go for the sweep tonight up in Boston.

the New York Rangers got off to a great start yesterday:
and The King was being The King again:
which made all Rangers fans like this:
here's the highlights from the 4-2 win:

the horse i picked to win The Kentucky Derby finished 3rd. that's actually better than what i normally do.

Game 7 between the Spurs and Clippers was fucking awesome. any playoff game that comes down to a final shot goes well beyond any hype before the game. and Chris Paul did exactly what i've watched him do for years now:
even more amazing considered he strained his hamstring in the first half.

ROH was great yesterday. and Saturday Night Live was pretty damn good as well:

now, a music break:

i really haven't watched any television so far today (SHOCKER). i took mom to Menard's to pay a bill and 90 minutes later we leave with $100 worth of shit for the birds and the house. then, we had to go over to the farm and get the rest of the shit that needed to be put in the trash or taken to be shredded. now that that's finally over, time for some tv.

tonight will be a full night for me. on top of the Yankees game on ESPN, there's some playoff hockey going on. on Showtime, there's Nurse Jackie, Happyish, and one of my favorite shows ever comes back tonight, Penny Dreadful. over on HBO, it will be Veep, Silicon Valley, and Last Week Tonight. given the nice sunburn i got today, i think it's the perfect night to just lay in bed with the fan on and relax.

not really sure when i'll be on here tomorrow. Monday night is shaping up to be another classic clusterfuck for me. more on that tomorrow.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.
