the New York Yankees pissed away a 6-2 lead last night to lose 8-6 in extra innings. they play again tonight in Washington to hopefully split the series. there's little to no chance i'll watch any of the game.
The Voice went exactly as i expected it to last night. i even got the order of the top 4 correct this year. i really wanted Meghan to win, but i know that the housewives look at Sawyer as fresh meat. i might like him more once his voice gets a little bass in it.
Deadliest Catch last night was great and sad at the same time. heroin addiction is one of the worst things on earth. and to see it played out like that on television was pretty riveting and sad.
David Letterman had a fucking great show last night. first, you can never have a better guest than Bill Murray:
and then end it with something magical and strange:
i can't wait to see what happens tonight on the final show. i'm sure i will laugh as much as i cry. i've been a Letterman fan since i stayed up WAY past my bed time to watch him when i was like 7 or 8 years old. that's over 30 years. and i know some of my crazy sense of humor comes from Dave. hopefully the final show tonight is a classic.
tonight is a true clusterfuck for me on television. all at the same time: New York Rangers play Game 3 down in Tampa, a new episode of Lucha Underground (thank god i have a DVR now) AND NXT: Takeover Unstoppable on the WWE Network. i will probably have to watch wrestling later in the night due to the hockey. of course, if the Rangers play like shit once again and take stupid penalty after stupid penalty, i'll gladly switch over to the wrestling.
speaking of wrestling, i urge everyone to check out this podcast when you get a chance:
listen on iTunes, Stitcher, the RSS you can find on the right hand side of this blog, or at notsam.com. it is a fascinating interview with my favorite wrestler of the last decade.
here's some comedy for you on a fucking gloomy day:
and in case if that wasn't enough videos for you:
the Sacramento Kings will be picking 6th in the NBA Draft this year. at least they didn't get shifted down like most years. and this is going to be a deep draft. they should be able to get someone that will help immediately at number 6.
that's all for me today. i don't think the sun has come out at all today. good times.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
peace and chicken grease...
