at least the day got better as it went along...

 so, when i was last on here, it was right before Manchester United was going to play yesterday. thank fucking god i didn't watch the game. United lost to Crystal Palace 3-1. great. maybe this will be a wake up call to the club to sign some fucking people. or, maybe the owners want them to become an afterthought.

thankfully, the New York Yankees played great last night. they defeated Boston, 8-0. the winning streak is up to 10. the winning streak against Boston is up to 12. and the magic number to make the playoffs is down to 1. hopefully, the Yankees will get the sweep today.

ROH was pretty good last night.

Austin City Limits was the episode with Buddy Guy and August Greene that i deleted a few months ago.

i will probably watch some of the NFL today and maybe some of the NBA tonight.

i did watch some college football yesterday.

it almost felt kind of weird yesterday to not be knee deep in baseball cards for most of the day. that being said, i did send out 4 poems yesterday to The Rye Whiskey Review. when i hear back i will pass along the verdict.
