first off, a Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. i hope you have a wonderful day.
mom wants pizza today, so i guess i will be ordering from Pizza Hut shortly.
i did put out suet for the birds. hopefully my little trick will keep the flying rats away from the house.
the New York Yankees came from being down 6-0 yesterday at home to Tampa to win the game 9-8. they will hopefully win the series this afternoon.
here are your highlights from the NHL playoffs last night.
AEW Rampage was really good last night.
amazingly, i did get everything done yesterday. i vacuumed the house, got what i needed at Kroger and Rite Aid and i finished my laundry a little after midnight. i got the dishes done before 2 in the morning.
that exhausted me enough to get a whole 5 hours of sleep.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be VICE, Yellowjackets, Waco: The Aftermath, Succession, Barry and Somebody Somewhere.
i'm sure i will watch some of Game 7 between Boston and Philadelphia in the NBA playoffs today. Game 6 between Vegas and Edmonton is on tonight in the NHL playoffs.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.
i should be on here tomorrow before my mother has her physical therapy session.
hopefully, the weather stays nice today. i'm guessing the rain is out of the area.
until tomorrow kids...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
so, here was my day at Rite Aid today. i got a text saying my prescription was ready. i put air in the left front tire and went to Rite Aid. the line wasn't too bad and i got the prescription for no charge. i got back in the Highlander and realized, it wasn't the pills i was expecting. i was expecting the pills i ran out of yesterday. so, i went back into the store. the line was now twice as long, but both registers were being operated. i got back up to the counter and was told the pills i needed would be ready in about 10 minutes. not sure why i couldn't be told that 15 minutes earlier when i was in line the first time. oh well. i finally got the pills i ran out of yesterday and left the store. i pride myself at being as patient as i can be. and honestly, if i wasn't, i would be in jail for murder. i just don't have the time for incompetence. it drives me fucking insane.
at the World Cup Today, Croatia beat Japan on penalty kicks, 1-1 (3-1). Brazil put on a show and defeated South Korea, 4-1. Brazil vs. Croatia should be a fascinating game. tomorrow at the World Cup, Morocco plays Spain and Portugal takes on Switzerland.
the New York Knicks won last night at home against Cleveland, 92-81.
here are your NBA highlights from yesterday:
The White Lotus was hilarious last night. i can't wait for the season finale next week.
George & Tammy was excellent last night.
Let The Right One In was really good last night. i can't wait for the season finale next week.
Ziwe was fucking crazy last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be The Voice, That's My Jam and Monday Night Raw.
i did listen to episode 424 of Notsam Wrestling this morning. you can hear that by going here:
it warmed up enough to melt everything around here today. i went out to Big Lots since i had a 20% off coupon that was expiring soon. i found everything i was looking for and kept everything under $30. i got 5 packs of baseball cards and i got some pretty nice 2021 Topps Update Series rookies in them.
i'm not going to the basketball game tonight. my back is not really good enough right now to be able to sit that long at a game. it always gets like this in the winter. and it never fails that my back will be killing me around my birthday anymore. good times. at least the Dayton Flyers game tonight against St. Bonaventure will be on ESPN+.
i did watch a little of the NFL playoff game between the Rams and Cardinals last night. it wasn't much of a game to be honest. the Rams won, 34-11.
Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.
Kenan was pretty funny last night.
That's My Jam was fucking hilarious last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be NXT.
i should be on here tomorrow before i do the grocery shopping. i'm guessing that by the time i get the grocery shopping done, Manchester United will be playing.
i need to get the trash picked up and figure out what the fuck i'm making for dinner tonight. so, that's all for me kids.
until tomorrow...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
so, i wrote 6 poems today while mom was doing her physical therapy. i typed them up this afternoon before i went to the bank. i think they are pretty good. i would love to write some more as i want to get the first submissions of 2022 out this weekend.
so, i nearly got into an accident today. some stupid fuck decided to run a red light as i was turning into the hospital. thankfully, i was quick enough to hit the gas so the fucker missed my mom's side of the Highlander. as i told her, i'm taking it as a sign i need to start thinning the herd.
the New York Rangers defeated Edmonton last night, 4-1. that put the Rangers at the top of the league after that win. i'm really starting to think something special could be possible this season.
Manchester United lost yesterday to Wolves, 1-0. it was the first time Wolves had won a league game at Old Trafford since 1980.
both episodes of Kenan were pretty funny last night.
That's My Jam was hilarious last night.
Monday Night Raw was good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be NXT.
the bank was great today. in and out in less than 3 minutes. of course, it was funny when mom realized yesterday that she hadn't paid me yet.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done. if you see the blog early in the morning, it means my crazy ass has decided that after i get the grocery shopping done i'm going to attempt to go to the Dayton vs. VCU game tomorrow night. i'm leaning against going given i know i will be fucking tired as hell tomorrow. and we are expecting snow for Thursday. and i know if we do get that snow, i'll be the one with the shovel on Thursday.
so yeah, given that the basketball game is on TV tomorrow night, that's the more likely scenario.
i need to get the trash picked up and decide what the fuck is for dinner, so that's all for me kids.
until tomorrow...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
mom had a doctor's appointment today. all her numbers look good after they took her blood. after the appointment, we went to Perkins to finally use the coupon i got for my free birthday meal. and thankfully, the weather has been really good today.
my order from Walk Off Wax arrived today. i paid around $65 for the baseball cards. i think there was a little over $100 worth of cards in the boxes. i am very pleased with that.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
NXT UK was really good yesterday.
the season finale of Young Sheldon was excellent last night.
the season finale of B Positive was hilarious last night.
The United States of Al was good last night.
Clarice was really good last night.
Dark Side of the Ring was about Nick Gage last night. that was my mother's first time of really watching death matches. she was fucking shocked.
Dark Side of Football was mostly about Chad Johnson last night. that brought back some memories.
Manchester United lost to Liverpool yesterday, 4-2. i'm still pissed about it.
the Yankees got their asses handed to them last night, losing to Tampa 9-1. they start a series at Baltimore tonight, amid a COVID outbreak that's up to 8 people now and more fucking injuries.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown and A Black Lady Sketch Show. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on Peacock.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. if i get a wild hair up my ass, i might send the poems out tonight. so, there could be a second blog late tonight / early Saturday morning.
i am not thrilled that the mask orders are being changed. i will probably still wear mine for the most part as i have lived too long to trust fucking humans.
my bad back is crying for my massage chair, so that's all for me kids.
i really hope everyone has a great weekend.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
i didn't get to bed last night until 4:30 this morning. so, i'm going on around 4 hours of sleep and a huge cup of coffee at the moment. good times.
Manchester United started off horribly yesterday. thankfully, they didn't finish that way. United won 4-1 over Newcastle. i'm really hoping that is the start of a great string of games for them.
i did watch a ton of boxing last night, especially the Lopez vs. Lomachenko fight. i thought Lopez won the fight, but not by the huge margin the judges thought he did. Lomachenko finally paid for starting off as slow as he does.
i did watch a ton of college football yesterday as well. thankfully, the Big Ten starts back next Saturday.
Saturday Night Live was not good last night. nothing against Issa Rae, but i didn't find much of the show that funny.
Austin City Limits was a look back at Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble from 1983 and 1989.
ROH was very good last night.
David Byrne's American Utopia was awesome last night. i highly recommend it.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Our Cartoon President, The Good Lord Bird, The Comedy Store, Desus & Mero, the season finale of Lovecraft Country, The Vow, Last Week Tonight and Seduced: Inside The NXIVM Cult.
i'm sure i'll probably fall asleep to some football game this afternoon.
i'm hoping to be on here early tomorrow, since there are two Monday night football games.
thanks to everyone for the feedback on my latest published poem. i really appreciate it.
i had my first drinks with alcohol in them last night in weeks. i certainly had less than what i had been drinking. it's funny, it still fueled me to staying up until almost 4 in the fucking morning. my blood sugar was normal when i woke up less than 4 hours later. all seems well. so back on the fucking train.
i took advantage of the Yankees rain delay yesterday to watch the rest of Dunkirk. i liked the movie. the cinematography was great. you could really tell that this was Christopher Nolan's passion project. it will be on the DVR for awhile.
the New York Yankees won over Oakland yesterday, 6-2. that's the seventh straight series the Yankees have won. they are off today and start a quick 2 game series at the Nationals tomorrow.
here are your highlights from the NHL and NBA playoffs yesterday:
Westworld was fucking great last night.
the season finale of Silicon Valley was excellent last night.
the season finale of Barry was great last night.
Last Week Tonight was fucking brilliant as always.
Billions was really good last night.
I'm Dying Up Here was excellent last night.
Drop the Mic was better than i thought it was going to be last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and the semi-finals of The Voice. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.
i'll probably check out some of the NHL and NBA playoffs tonight as well.
i laughed when i out to get the paper this morning. apparently, my sister thought that someone else was going to put the weeds she pulled yesterday in the trash. they were still in the spot she left them in when she left yesterday. thankfully, i was out there before it got fucking hot today.
i'll probably be on here tomorrow after a trip to the grocery store. i'll have some pills of my own to pickup and i'll need to buy more tissues, as mom's allergies have her going through a box a day basically. good times.
i hope everyone had a good weekend.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
well, not quite a tornado but the wind was whipping somewhere around 80 mph while i was running the vacuum in the kitchen. i had to vacuum the whole house today because mom sneezed. i truly love that she is getting crazier as she gets older. like she's going to out-crazy me. please.
the storm knocked down some huge limbs here in the cul-de-sac. i had some solar lights come out of the ground. and of course that's in the part of our front yard that floods.
i did watch a good portion of the Home Run Derby last night. if the world didn't know about Aaron Judge before last night, they sure as hell know who is now.
Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. i especially liked that they decided to keep Samoa Joe in the main event picture. and thank god the Kurt Angle drama will come to a head next week.
The Defiant Ones, Part 2 last night was mostly about N.W.A. i can still remember exactly where i was the first time i heard Fuck Tha Police.
i did write one poem last night after mom's physical therapy session. i haven't typed it up yet. i'm hoping a few more pop in my head before the end of the week.
i had a pretty good trip to the bank yesterday. the one teller that sort of knows who i am, who just happens to be this cute black woman as well, was the one working yesterday. she saw me walk up and smiled. i figure i'm reading too much into that. i made a quick one liner that made her laugh, which i took as a good sign. not good enough for me to engage further or anything. but... she did call me Mr. Campbell when she handed me my receipt. that's a good way to make me feel fucking old.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight. The Defiant Ones, Part 3, Smackdown, Deadliest Catch and The Jim Jefferies Show. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.
i will probably also watch a little of MLB All Star Game tonight. i know Aaron Judge is batting third in the top of first inning, so i have no clue how much i will watch after that.
i'll be on here tomorrow after i get back from taking mom to another doctor's appointment and to get some blood work done. joy.
i now have trash to pick up and dishes to do. at least the rain has stopped.

first off, Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there.
i believe mom liked everything she got today. plus, she wanted Chinese food for some damn reason. my sister went and got that for her.
from what i got to see last night, Saturday Night Live was pretty fucking funny. sadly, my local NBC station doesn't know what the fuck it is doing on Saturday night. they will just run local commercials sometimes rather than the show. as a guy who loves comedy, that's a good way to piss me off.
ROH was excellent last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Silicon Valley, Veep, Last Week Tonight and two episodes of Guerrilla.
i got some great FREE music on NoiseTrade this morning. i'll post the links below in the music section and i HIGHLY urge you to check it out.
the New York Yankees are playing a doubleheader today against Houston, weather permitting. the second game tonight is when they will be retiring Derek Jeter's number 2.
Kevin Hayes and Brady Skjei, from the New York Rangers, got added to team USA over at the 2017 Ice Hockey World Championship in Europe. so, i guess i will be paying attention to that now.
i did see Ottawa beat Pittsburgh in OT last night. i just happened to flip over and 20 seconds later Bobby Ryan scored in OT.
i wasn't looking forward to the Manchester United game today against Tottenham. it was the last game to be played at White Hart Lane, so i figured the Spurs would be gunning for a victory. United has nothing to play for but pride really, as they have no chance to finish in the top 4 now. they have to win the Europa League or this season will be a complete fucking failure. United lost 2-1 today. they showed no desire to play until the last 25 minutes or so. i guess if i want to be an asshole, Wayne Rooney did score the last ever goal at White Hart Lane. so there's that...
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
i believe my adrenaline is still running high from last night. the New York Rangers slayed another demon to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the second time in three years. the 2-1 victory over the crybaby Penguins last night was beautiful. the King stood on his head and became the first goalie in NHL history to win 5 straight game 7's. and when you think of all the great goalies that have played this sport, that's an accomplishment. they'll find out tonight who they play on Saturday. i think we have a better chance against Montreal though i would LOVE to beat Boston in the playoffs. below are the highlights from Game 7:
8 wins to go. halfway to the ultimate goal. The Stanley Cup.
also on the good/great news front, my health situation seems to have returned to normal. normal color. normal texture. not sure what the fuck i had but i am thrilled it is gone.
the Yankees last night got no pitching at all and lost 12-7. Tanaka goes tonight so they might have a chance. i'm really happy i didn't sit through that shit last night. injuries are slowly killing this team.
we are under a Tornado Watch until 9 tonight. so you might notice my music this afternoon has a bit of a theme. i did a little poetry work this afternoon and came up with 21 poems to send out, probably on Friday. i was a little surprised that i had that many poems sitting around.
i got 2 out of the 3 finalists correct on The Voice. i believe everyone knows that Christina made it because of all her YouTube fans. it will be a crime if she wins it all. Jake and Josh are much better than she is.
Deadliest Catch was pretty damn good last night. i have also started watching the show after it, Alaskan Bush People. i imagine i might get a few poems from that show.
on top of watching some playoff basketball and hockey tonight, i will be watching the final 2 episodes of Legit for this season. should be yet another busy night, as long as the storms cooperate.
and speaking of the weather, the skies are getting dark so i'm going to close up shop. hope this finds everyone well. if you enjoy this blog, tell a friend. or send me money. that will work as well.
peace and chicken grease my enemies. until tomorrow, long after i have erased the backlog of victory beers.
