i didn't get to sleep until 5 AM. i didn't wake up until 11:15 AM. now, i wish it would have been 6 straight hours of sleep, but i don't live in that fantasy world. i didn't eat breakfast until 1 in the afternoon. good times. after that, i had to vacuum the house. mom told me to do it in the morning. of course, she didn't wake up until 12:30. i took a weed gummy because my back is absolutely killing me. after i get this done, i'm going to ice my back down and hopefully be high enough that i enter a few different dimensions while taking a nap.
the USMNT at the Olympics defeated New Zealand yesterday, 4-1.
the Yankees won last night at Boston, 11-8, in 10 innings. hopefully, they will win the series tonight. they did make a trade yesterday that will hopefully be good for the offense.
Manchester United lost last night to Arsenal, 2-1. two players got injured last night, Yoro and Hojlund. i'm hoping they won't be out for long. United did win the penalty shootout after the game, so there's that.
AEW Collision and AEW Battle of the Belts were both pretty good last night.

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother and Last Week Tonight.
the USWNT takes on Germany today at the Olympics.
since i woke up late, i only watched some of the USA men's basketball game today against Serbia. the USA won, 110-84.
i should be on here tomorrow before i take mom to her physical therapy appointment.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.

this week will be nothing but hot and humid weather. not the greatest of times for us fat people. i could take 10 showers this week and still feel everything sticking to me. i like to think if there is a hell, this would be the closest version of it. i was out in it a little today as i had to return some things for mom. thankfully, it didn't take that long.
the Yankees won yesterday at home, sweeping the Royals, 8-5. they are off tonight and start a series tomorrow night at home against the Mets.
i did watch some of the Leagues Cup games last night.
The Righteous Gemstones was fucking hilarious last night. the two part season finale is next week.
and i did watch some of the Women's World Cup last night as well.
enjoy some music:

i did listen to episode 457 of Notsam Wrestling this morning. you can hear that by going here:
i had a cramp in my leg this morning at 5 AM. between that and the rain overnight, joy...i was hoping to get up early and feed the birds this morning as we're supposed to have storms tonight. oh well.
the USMNT tied Jamaica last night, 1-1, in the Gold Cup. considering the USA trailed for most of the game, salvaging a point out of it was better than what i was expecting.
the New York Yankees won yesterday at home against the Texas Rangers, 1-0. hopefully, they can win the series today.
AEW Collision was excellent last night.
i did catch a little of the MLS games last night.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice and The Righteous Gemstones. i will hopefully (weather permitting) be watching AEW Forbidden Door tonight on ppv.
i am sure i might watch some of the Gold Cup today, NASCAR and maybe golf if i need a nap.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after mom has her physical therapy. i need to go to the bank and the post office tomorrow morning.

so, i got what i guess i can call some decent sleep last night. my arms weren't killing me the entire time. and i got what i needed to get done this morning (put the dishes away, make coffee) in time to watch Manchester United play at Leeds.
when United went up 2-0 by halftime, i was pretty pleased. of course, by 10 minutes into the second half, it was 2-2. thankfully, Fred of all people scored the game winner. Anthony Elanga added in the insurance and United won 4-2.
the Dayton Flyers won yesterday at Saint Joseph's, 74-62.
Celebrity Big Brother was just some of the never before seen moments from this season last night. the season will thankfully be over on Wednesday.
WWE Elimination Chamber was pretty good yesterday. my hunch was correct, as i figured one of the main events of WrestleMania would be Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns, title vs. title. i didn't see the Bobby Lashley injury angle coming, but it makes sense.
NBA Saturday Night was good for the most part. the dunk contest sort of dragged on, mostly because i think most of the guys were trying to do dunks they can't do. at least Obi Toppin did dunks he knew he could make. and he won, finally.
enjoy some music:

maybe this is becoming my new normal for Mondays. going to bed sometime around the sun coming up and being up less than 3 hours later to put the coffee on. and then another power nap in the late morning and boom, tackle the rest of the day. i did go grocery shopping today. i found everything, between two different stores, that i needed to get for Thanksgiving. my sister will be down here tomorrow night. we should have plenty if she brings everything she said she was going to.
so, yesterday was a bit crazy. first off, let me start with the bad news. the New Orleans Saints lost to the Eagles yesterday, 40-29. honestly, it never even felt that close. the Saints play at home on Thanksgiving night against Buffalo. oh joy.
now, some better news. the New York Rangers defeated the Buffalo Sabres last night, 5-4. the wining goal was scored with less than 1 second left in the game. good times.
WWE Survivor Series was pretty good last night.
the season finale of BMF was good last night.
Power Book II: Ghost was very good last night.
Axios was good last night.
Succession was very good last night.
Insecure was great last night.
Curb Your Enthusiasm was fucking hilarious last night.

i had to go out and pick up some pills for my mother today at the grocery store. i figured, since i was out, i'd check out the Walgreens across the street and see if they had any baseball cards. i remember getting a jumbo box there a month or so ago. of course, they were all out. i decided to check at Rite Aid where i live to see if they had any. nope. well fuck.
the Yankees lost to Boston yesterday, 10-2, but thanks to Seattle losing to San Diego, the Yankees did clinch a playoff spot. they start a 4 game series with Toronto tonight. hopefully, they get back to winning so they can at least have the first round of the playoffs at Yankee Stadium.
here are your NBA highlights from last night:
the finale of Love Fraud was good last night.
Our Cartoon President was fucking hilarious last night.
Desus & Mero was great last night.

Lovecraft Country was fucking great last night.
The Vow was excellent last night.

we've had an amazing stretch of weather where we have been able to open up the house and really let it air out. good times.
i'll probably be on here tomorrow sometime before Manchester United plays in the EFL Cup.
i'm afraid what mood i might be in if i got on here after the game.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.

thanks again to everyone for checking out my latest published poem:
first off, a little poetry news to pass along. i sent out 14 poems today; 3 to Terror House Magazine, 5 to The Ramingo's Porch and 6 poems to Record Magazine. when i hear back from these places i will pass along the verdicts.
i thought i got some pretty decent sleep last night, but of course i didn't. the 15 minute nap i got in my massage chair while i was icing my back this afternoon was better i suppose. the heat finally broke last night when he had some storms roll through. that screwed up the DVR a little, but thankfully not too much.
the season finale of VICE was excellent last night.
Penny Dreadful: City of Angels was very good last night. the finale is next week.
The Chi was amazing last night. i didn't think they would start the new season off with a holy shit ending.
Hightown was really good last night.
Perry Mason was very good last night. i love that it seems to be a much more gritty version than ever seen on television.
Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT as usual.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

i was in a bit of a mood last night. i got a couple lines in my head and i knew i had to get them out or i would be up all night. thankfully, i put on the right music (a mix of Morphine and Massive Attack) and i wrote 3 poems. i typed those up this morning and i really like them. i will probably have another batch of poems ready to go out in early 2019.
i did watch the USA defeat Slovakia last night, 2-1 in the World Juniors. that's the 12th straight year they have won their first game. they play Kazakhstan on Friday.
both episodes of NXT UK were really good yesterday.
205 Live was a best of 2018 show last night. that was a fun hour of television.
NXT was really good last night.
they are done putting the new doors in, other than the one part to the front door they forgot yesterday and again today. the doors look really good.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after i get back from the grocery store. i'll probably be doing my laundry tomorrow as well. joy.

let's start with what Manchester United did against City yesterday. clearly, it wasn't enough or even close to being enough to compete with City. United lost 3-1. oh well.
the New Orleans Saints absolutely destroyed the Bengals yesterday, 51-14. that was a pleasure to watch. that's 8 wins in a row for the Saints.
Ray Donovan was really good last night.
the season finale of Kidding was fucking great last night. i can't wait for season 2.
Axios was excellent last night.

i had to run out to the grocery store to get some things for mom this afternoon. the store was a little crazy, which i was expecting since there is snow on the way tonight. i think we're expected to get around a 1/2 inch or so.
i have no idea when i will be on here tomorrow.

so there i was eating breakfast this morning with my mother. i was taking a sip of my coffee and suddenly mom sneezed. and she didn't cover her nose and mouth in time. next thing i know i've got whatever on my arm. thankfully, i was already done eating by this point. i looked at her and she started to laugh and wipe whatever off my arm. i suppose i'm going to be paid back for all the times i shit or pissed on her as a child. joy. i have already witnessed the decline of her brain. now, i get to watch the motor skills fade away. so much fun.
the New York Yankees tried to piss away a victory yesterday. their closer couldn't throw a strike to save his life. so, they brought on Chasen Shreve, who i have given the nickname the human white flag to, to try to clean up Chapman's mess. amazingly, he got the job done before all of the lead had evaporated. the Yankees won 7-6. they can win the series against the Mets with a victory tonight, weather permitting.
ROH was excellent last night.
as mom tried to go to sleep last night, she asked me if i smelled something. that's never good. i went into her room and could immediately smell a skunk. i went into the kitchen and could smell it there as well. i opened the door to our back porch and didn't see anything, but you could definitely smell it. it was all stench and fog. mom tried to sleep in the living room, which didn't have the smell in it. my nose isn't as sensitive as hers, so i was able to fall asleep in my bed. of course, i sleep with the fan on. that seems to take care of any smells i don't want.

i'm watching the British Open right now. the leaderboard is fucking crazy at the moment.
i think Manchester United plays the San Jose Earthquakes this afternoon. the game isn't on television, so i'll follow it online i suppose.
the weather here is still shitty. there is all this rain in the area, so i'm feeling fucking miserable at the moment. i'm hoping icing my back down will help. this kind of misery is usually when i feel like i could use a needle and a spoon.
i hope everyone had a good Saturday. hopefully, your Sunday will be even better.

i just watched a "news" conference with President dipshit and the dumb fuck decided to take questions and immediately went right back to his words from Saturday... violence on many sides. that pretty much proves what i said yesterday, his "new" remarks simply being a public relations clean up mess more than his heart, was actually true. he can't fully remove himself from the racists because he knows that eliminates so much of his damn support that he won't have much to stand on. so if he thinks the protests against him are bad now, just fucking wait. i always wondered what this country was like in 1968 with the threat of assassination constantly in the air. my gut tells me i'm going to see it firsthand. i almost feel sorry for the fucker at the White House who has to clean up this mess, again.
the New York Yankees came from behind last night to beat the Mets 4-2. solo home runs from Judge, Sanchez and Hicks did the job. for all of them, that was the 40th home run of their careers. that's kind of spooky. even better last night, the Red Sox lost, so the Yankees picked up a game in the division. hopefully they can win again tonight.
Monday Night Raw was very good last night. they certainly are going into SummerSlam with some good momentum.
I Hart Food is the new show on the Food Network from Hannah Hart (My Drunk Kitchen on YouTube). it was really good, as i thought it would be. it certainly provided a bit of a mental break from the fucking news, that's for sure.
Vice News Tonight last night was great. it was completely a behind the scenes look at what happened in Charlottesville over the weekend. i highly recommend it, especially since it shows you the fucking dumb fucks behind the rally to begin with.

i think the alcohol worked last night as i got a good amount of sleep overnight. not as much as i probably needed as i probably need a damn coma to catch up quite honestly.
i do need to get the trash picked up here and next door, so that's all for me today kids.
i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. everything has been sort of thrown out of whack now that mom is more or less finished with her physical therapy.

Monday Night Raw was not good last night. the only things i really enjoyed were the taped segments that Finn Balor and The Club did. the rest of the show was blah at best. the Stone Cold Podcast after the show was bizarre. Dean Ambrose is just a different cat and Stone Cold couldn't seem to get that through his head. it's almost like two different interviews were going on at the same time. it didn't help that for some reason my Blu-Ray was fucking up last night and i had to watch it on the computer. i got all that figured out today thankfully.
the trash is all picked up and is out at the curb. the humidity today is somewhere near hell levels.

i am excited that the Paul Pogba drama is over and he has come home.
i can't wait to get this season started now. hopefully this will be the year Manchester United returns to glory.
i did watch the USA men's basketball team last night. they struggled early but eventually buried Venezuela, 113-69. next up will be Australia.
i will probably watch the USA women's soccer team take on Colombia later today.
the New York Yankees start a series at Boston tonight. if they have any prayer of making the playoffs, they have to sweep this series. i doubt that happens.
