clusterfuck 101

so, i got mom to the hospital where she was having her scan today. we went to where she was to check in and they told her that none of the scans are happening today since the machine is down. mom wanted to know if they tried calling her to tell her this before we drove 20 minutes to the facility. mom doesn't ride well anymore no matter how short the drive is. the lady couldn't tell us as she didn't know. she told us to call central scheduling to get it rescheduled. so, that was a fucking waste as i was hoping to write some more poems today and actually have a productive afternoon. we went back home and she got the appointment rescheduled for some day in November. i had some lunch and then i got a text from Rite Aid saying i had 2 prescriptions ready to pick up. so, i went there and got those 2 prescriptions. 20 minutes after i got back home, got another text from Rite Aid saying i had another prescription ready to pick up. fuck me. did they ever think it would be more efficient to just fucking wait until they were all ready to text me to come get them? so, i'll go get that one tomorrow sometime.

the grand plan for today was i was going to send out some poems, write 2 blogs and get ready for a Friday night. i guess the poems will go out later tonight as this clusterfuck of an afternoon has totally jumbled everything up. and honestly, i'm still pissed from last night.

the New Orleans Saints lost at home to Jacksonville last night, 31-24. the offense just fucking stinks in the red zone.

the New York Rangers lost at home to Nashville last night, 4-1.

Big Brother was good last night. Cory was evicted. Jag won HOH for the second week in a row.

NJPW was very good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown, AEW Rampage and Real Time with Bill Maher. i'll watch NXT Level Up sometime tonight on Peacock.

i will be on here later tonight when i get the poems sent out. i tend to work better late at night anyway.

i will hopefully be on here tomorrow before Ohio State plays at noon.

i hope everyone has a great weekend.

i need to get going on making dinner, so that's all for me kids.

here comes a busy day...

today is going to busier than shit. but, i like fucking chaos anymore. oh well.

the Yankees lost last night at Houston, 4-2. hard to win when you strike out 17 times in a game. and once again, Aaron Boone didn't use the bullpen how he should have (how many times does Clarke Schmidt have to fail in high pressure situations for you to stop putting him in those...). they play Game 2 tonight.

here are your highlights from the MLB playoffs yesterday:

the New York Knicks lost in OT last night, at Memphis, 115-112.

here are your NBA highlights from last night:

The Masked Singer was good last night.

both episodes of American Horror Story: NYC were great last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, NJPW, the season finale of Little Demon, Atlanta and Young Sheldon.

the New Orleans Saints play tonight at Arizona. the Saints have so many injuries, i have no clue how they are going to do tonight.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against San Jose. hopefully, the boys win again.

the MLS playoffs resume tonight. Philadelphia plays FC Cincinnati and El Trafico will be the other semifinal (LAFC vs. LA Galaxy).

i'm hoping i will get some poems written today while mom is at physical therapy.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after i get back from Menards.

and of course, CR7 to the rescue...

so, i got home from the grocery store right in time to watch the Manchester United game today. of course, they went down 2-0 in the first half against Atalanta. i was so angry during the first half, i went through the baseball cards i got today instead of watching most of it. paid $5 for the Fairfield box, there was around $12 worth of cards in it. i had lunch and then watched the second half. Rashford scored to make it 2-1. Maguire of all people scored to make it 2-2. and of course, Cristiano Ronaldo scored to win the game for United, 3-2. they are now on top of the group in the Champions League. hopefully, this gives them some good thoughts going into the weekend where they play Liverpool on Sunday.

the grocery stores today were ok. my back has been killing me all day long. i helped take down all the tomato plants last night and get it all out for the trash today. mom helped putting the vines in the trash bag, but i did most of everything else. i'm paying for it today.

The Voice was good last night.

NXT was really good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Masked Singer, Alter Ego, Batwoman and the season finale of American Horror Story: Double Feature.

i did watch some of the basketball games last night.

i guess the good weather ends tonight as we have rain coming in. i could tell it was coming as i noticed all the farmers trying to get their crops harvested today.

i will be on here tomorrow sometime in the afternoon, after wrestling is over.

it finally stopped raining...

we ended up with around 2 inches of rain over the last two days. not good for someone with arthritis from head to toe.

The Voice was pretty good last night.

Monday Night Raw was good last night.

the finale of The Third Day was excellent last night.

We Are Who We Are was very good last night.

Big Brother was pretty funny last night.

Fringe Nation was a bit disturbing last night. why people are so attracted to the Nazi's is beyond fucking frustrating for me.

i did watch a little of both football games yesterday. the Chiefs defeated Buffalo 26-17 and the Cardinals destroyed the Cowboys 38-10.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and The Voice.

Manchester United plays at PSG in the Champions League today. i'd love to see them get a win.

i stumbled upon a 1989 Donruss Ken Griffey Jr. today. it was in one of my old shoeboxes. i put that in hard plastic as quickly as i could.

i'll be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done.

what a cruel world...

so, the New York Yankees lost to Houston last night, 6-4, on a walk off 2 run homer from Jose Altuve. that happened after the Yankees tied the game at 4 in the top half of the 9th inning. that's the 3rd time in the last 5 years the Astros have eliminated the Yankees. that's a bitter taste that never quite leaves.

so the World Series will be the Nationals vs. the Astros. good thing i won't be watching.

i watched a ton of the MLS playoffs yesterday, as well as some college football.

NJPW was pretty good last night.

ROH was good last night.

Austin City Limits was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Axios, The Affair, the season finale of On Becoming A God in Central Florida, Batwoman and Watchmen.

Manchester United takes on Liverpool here in a little bit. i'd love for United to shock me today and actually play well for a fucking change.

the New York Rangers play at home this afternoon against Vancouver. hopefully, the Rangers can end their losing streak today.

the New Orleans Saints play later this afternoon at Chicago. hopefully, the Saints can keep on winning.

i haven't had my coffee or breakfast yet, so that's all for me kids.

i hope your Saturday was great. hopefully, your Sunday will be even better.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

until then...

if only the game ended 30 seconds sooner...

i almost got up on time this morning. i saw the clock at 7 AM. i decided to stay in bed as Manchester United hasn't won at Chelsea in years. i started watching the game in the second half. i was really, really happy when Anthony Martial scored his second goal of the game to put United up 2-1. of course, Chelsea scored in the 96th minute to end the game in a 2-2 draw. United was 30 seconds away from their first win at Chelsea in 6 years. now, do i take the positive that United got a point out of the game or do i dwell on the fact that United came oh so fucking close to a huge victory. fuck, i know me. i'll have a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the day.

NJPW was pretty good last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was the anniversary special last night. it was really good.

Pod Save America was excellent last night.

i did watch some NBA last night as well.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH and Austin City Limits.

Ohio State plays tonight at Purdue. i am pretty worried about this game. it has trap game written all over it.

mom wants to go out shopping today. after i get this done, i think we're going. she wants some Halloween decorations i guess. i'm not sure why she didn't look at Dollar Tree when we were there this past Monday. oh well.

i know there is a Game 7 tonight between the Dodgers and Brewers. i will probably watch some of that tonight.

i will probably be on here tomorrow sometime before the Saints play at the Ravens tomorrow.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money.

hopefully, tonight is the night

tonight is Game 6 of the ALCS between the Yankees and Astros. if New York wins tonight, they will go on to face the Dodgers in the World Series. i'm sure most advertising execs are hoping that happens. if the Yankees lose tonight, Game 7 would be tomorrow night. hopefully, i will be drinking my ass off tonight.

i wrote 3 poems last night. i typed those up this afternoon. so far i have written 20 poems in the 20 days of October. not bad.

the New York Rangers lost last night to the Islanders, 4-3 in a shootout. they have 4 damn points through 8 games so far this season. the last time they started this bad was 5 years ago. they made the Stanley Cup Final that year. this team isn't nearly as good as that one was. they play again tomorrow afternoon at home against Nashville. i'm not sure how many losses it's going to take for the GM to decide he finally has to do something.

The Chris Gethard Show was awesome last night.

Fuck, That's Delicious Classics was excellent last night.

Better Things was very good last night.

Gotham was fucking great last night.

Will & Grace was hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, NJPW, Real Time with Bill Maher and Mike Judge Presents: Tales from the Tour Bus.

i'm planning on watching the baseball game for most of the evening. of course, if things don't go the way i am hoping, i will probably watch some NBA or the fucking Food Network most likely.

the grocery store was a little interesting yesterday. the one thing i forget about going late to the store is it is usually ransacked by the elderly by that point. i got everything that was on the list, plus a few other things. i noticed the prices had gone up on just about everything. so, i guess the wildfires in California are finally being felt here.

i will probably be on tomorrow in the afternoon. i know Manchester United plays in the morning. that game will go right into the Rangers game with Nashville. thankfully, Ohio Sate is off this week.

i hope everyone has a great Friday night and weekend.

some days you run out of middle fingers

we got over an inch of rain last night. i'm pretty sure we've got over another inch today. i didn't sleep much at all last night. i had to be up this morning to drive mom to the doctor. right before we were leaving, she got a message from her director at her job saying the doctor never sent in the FMLA paperwork, so her leave has been denied. as you might imagine, mom was fucking pissed beyond belief. i guess the doctor and his nurse both apologized profusely for the fuck up during the appointment. the doctor has written mom off work for the rest of the year as she is still trying to find a specialist for her condition. she's hoping to get the guy that did my back 8 years ago as it appears he's the only fucker around here that is board certified.

for some reason, ever since i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, i believe i have only had 1 solid shit. if the poems take an angry fucking turn, you'll understand why.

Vice News Tonight was excellent last night.

Any Given Wednesday was very good last night.

Lip Sync Battle was very fucking funny last night.

American Horror Story was excellent last night. i wasn't sure where the show was going to go at first, but i am certainly excited to see how it ends now.

You're The Worst was great last night. the old adage is always true with therapy, it all starts when you're a child.

Total Bellas was pretty good last night.

NXT was good last night. i'm really happy that Roderick Strong has made it to NXT finally.

Lucha Underground was really, really good last night.

the New York Rangers once again managed to dominate an opponent and find a way to lose last night. they outplayed Detroit all damn night and lost 2-1.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Better Things and Fuck, That's Delicious.

Manchester United welcomed back RVP to Old Trafford today as United was playing Fenerbahce in Europa League action. RVP did score and got a well deserved round of applause from the fans, but it was Paul Pogba that stole the show today. he truly showed glimpses of why United spent all that money to get him. Pogba scored 2, Martial and Lingard got the other goals as United won 4-1. they next play at Chelsea on Sunday.

i will probably watch some of the football game tonight between Chicago and Green Bay. i do have one fantasy player going tonight.

i'm not sure when i'll be on here tomorrow. i need to go grocery shopping and i know mom needs her laundry done as well. good times.

and the hits keep on coming...

my uncle was supposed to have gall bladder surgery today. he felt fine the last few days and none of us thought anything about it. and then my mother gets a text this afternoon that he didn't have the surgery, they found cancer when they opened him up. they believe it came from the colon, which, if true, would mean my sister and i now have colon cancer on both sides of our family. good times. my mother is a wreck right now as she certainly didn't move next door just to see her brother die. i'm pretending to hope for the best but i'm not a fucking fool. he's 80 years old. i figure in the next day or so we'll know more about all of this. needless to say, my computer dying has been shifted down the importance list.

i put iTunes on my mother's laptop that i'm using. after 30 minutes of trying to figure out how the fuck to allow this computer to play music i had downloaded to another computer, i figured it out. so, at the very least, i do have some music on here now.

the New York Rangers ended their losing streak with a masterful 4-0 win over San Jose last night. i do like that this team is excellent in the 2nd game of back to backs. plus, it was the first start for their backup goalie they got from Chicago. he's the first Ranger goalie to get a shutout in his debut with the team since 1957. that was a sweet tasting victory beer.

The Voice last night was really good. one battle was fucking amazing.

Gotham was awesome last night. the show just keeps getting better each week. The Big Bang Theory was pretty funny. Life in Pieces had me laughing as well. and Men in Blazers was hilarious.

i won all 3 of my fantasy football matchups, one by just 1 damn point. the Giants QB last night did just enough for me to win. my picks for the week though were 7-7. that's fucking horrible for me.

Monday Night Raw was good last night. you could see they were swinging for the fences bringing back so many past stars for the show. not sure if it worked or not, but i will certainly be watching Hell in a Cell this Sunday.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

i watched that Star Wars trailer at halftime of the football game last night and i was just waiting for someone on ESPN to say the nerds are winning. you could see they all wanted to.

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice and Scream Queens.

i will probably be on here tomorrow sometime before Manchester United plays in the Champions League.

i now have trash and recyclables to pick up here and next door.

i hope this finds everyone with a healthy sense of humor and a hard drink in their hands.

what happens when the pain no longer produces pleasure...

i went to get on the computer last night and when i sat down in the chair, it immediately, basically went to the floor. it's one of the adjustable chairs. needless to say, my back didn't enjoy that. and today, i happened to lose a chunk of my left leg after hitting it on a piece of furniture. of course, by a chunk i mean i broke the skin. on top of everything, it's raining on and off today. misery isn't a strong enough word for what i'm feeling. of course, i was hoping to be drinking a victory beer right now...

Manchester United played West Brom to a 2-2 draw. United came from behind twice to get the point. hopefully they understand if they can't win on the road they will not win the title and will not finish in the top 4. it was nice to see Fellaini and Blind finally score. they next play Chelsea at home on Sunday. they will have to play much better than today to get anything out of that game.

i need two minor fantasy football miracles tonight to win my matches. i'm not holding my breath.

the Saints lost a game yesterday they controlled for nearly all of it. talk about being crushed. a 24-23 loss when your up 13 points in the 4th quarter is one of those losses that will haunt a team all season long.

thankfully, the New York Rangers played a complete game yesterday, shutting out San Jose 4-0. MSL and Rick Nash scored goals 4 seconds apart in the second period:
and then Kevin Hayes got his first NHL goal to finish off the scoring:
it was The King's 51st career shutout. hopefully they can keep the good times rolling when they play the Devils on Tuesday.

the Sunday night shows were excellent. Boardwalk Empire was brilliant. next week is the series finale. hopefully it goes out with a bang. Total Divas provided me with some laughs and an excuse to turn to the football game. Last Week Tonight was hilarious and informative. Homeland was insane and great once again. The Affair is a brilliant show. the storytelling is top notch, especially how they show the differences between how men and women recall the same events. just brilliant.

of course, i was up at 4 in the morning doing the dishes and drinking a beer. i just love having a bad back.

the guy who farms out here got all the corn off last night. so, hopefully that check will be coming soon.

i got some great music on NoiseTrade today. i'll provide the link below.

tonight is my usual clusterfuck of television. i'm planning on watching as much of Gotham as i can. i do want to check out some of The Voice and The Big Bang Theory. i suppose YouTube will help me with that. Monday Night Raw should be interesting considering it's the last one before the next ppv. and late tonight, i plan on watching the new episode of Men in Blazers. there's only one hockey game on tonight. and i can follow the football game online. so, needless to say i won't be getting any good sleep once again.

i figure i'll be on here tomorrow afternoon. of course, there are saying it is going to rain tomorrow. so, i may be in bed for most of the day, wallowing in pain. i think on some days it would just be easier to be a drug addict and feel nothing.

on that pretty thought, i wish all three of you a fond farewell. i do hope you had a great weekend. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.
