one of these weirdos that wears shorts in the winter

i'm sure my neighbors love that i go out to get the trash cans or the paper or the mail in a hoodie and shorts. doesn't matter what the weather is like. unless it's snowing or really fucking cold, i'm one of these weirdos that wears shorts in the winter. it's finally starting to feel like winter here. of course, we've had so much damn rain, it figures it would start to freeze now.

team USA destroyed Switzerland today in the World Juniors hockey tournament over in Finland. the boys dominated from the start, winning 10-1. the only Rangers prospect on the team was in goal for the last 30+ minutes of the game. he stopped all 10 shots he faced. they will play Denmark tomorrow morning. if they can win that in regulation, they will finish in second place in the group.

i didn't watch much on television last night. i was over at my uncle's shooting the shit for almost 90 minutes i think. it's rather obvious that his wife wants nothing to do with helping him with his cancer. it's kind of sad to know they have been married for over 60 years and this is how it gets at the end. i wonder why i'm still single?

tonight is a big sports night, but before that, enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

the Dayton Flyers take on Arkansas tonight at home. this is the last non-conference game of the season. coach Archie Miller will be going for his 100th win at the school. and the game is on national television (CBS Sports Network). needless to say, i will be pumped for this one as i will be in attendance.

the New York Rangers take on Tampa tonight. i really hope they play better than they did in Nashville. they are going to have to if they want to win.

i will probably catch the highlights from the hockey game when i get home from the basketball game. i suppose mom and i will go out to eat after the game as well. most likely another trip to Waffle House.

i will be on here tomorrow after the USA game with Denmark and before the HUGE college football games start. it will seem a little weird to be watching football that really means something on New Year's Eve.

that's all for me today kids. i hope everyone is well and looking forward to getting out of 2015.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

what to do when a toilet clogs and you can't find a plunger

apparently, i took a big of enough shit this morning that i clogged up the toilet. all those years on the farm with power flush toilets, i never even thought of needing a plunger. so, imagine my surprise when my mom uses the toilet and then runs into my room and asks why isn't the fucking toilet flushing? i went to the garage because i thought i remembered there was two plungers in there when we moved in. eventually i found them and of course, they didn't work for shit. so, off to the hardware store. funny thing is, mom and i were at a different hardware store last night. so we ended up getting a couple of plungers and a better outdoor timer for the Christmas lights. that was what we went out last night for. mom was hungry so we went to Waffle House for lunch. i figured that would be the true test to see if the plunger actually works. after lunch, i went to work. we got a plunger that's almost like an air tube you use to pump up tires or a basketball. thankfully, i got the damn thing unclogged before my damn back gave out. good times.

The Voice last night was pretty good. i think Jordan should win tonight, though if there is an upset, it will be because of Emily Ann's performance last night. that was the best performance she has done all season. but, nothing compares to the performance Jordan gave last week.
honestly, if that performance doesn't win him the show, i'll be shocked yet again.

i did pull off a little miracle last night and won the fantasy football match that i had to win. so, for the first time EVER, i have made the playoffs in all 3 leagues. given how crazy my life has been the last month or so, i'm pretty fucking happy with this. now, i've already pissed away the chance to win a championship in all 3, but i will be happier than a pig in shit if i win the other 2 leagues. it won't be easy.

check out a food blog from my good friend, Cynthia Lewis. 2 Spoons Of Sugar you can also find some posts from the blog on the right hand side of this blog.

i did enjoy the Adele special last night. it's hard to believe she hasn't done much performing in the last 4 years. she sounds as amazing as she ever has.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. i didn't care for the pacing of the show, but the main event made up for everything. excellent storytelling, great action, and a true "organic" kind of moment with a new champion. i'll give Roman Reigns credit, to get thousand of fans to cheer for you less than a year after those same fans booed the shit out of you is impressive. hopefully he takes the ball and runs with it.

tonight on the DVR will be The Voice finale.

the New York Rangers will try to end their losing streak tonight at home against Edmonton. the game will mark the NHL debut of Brady Skjei. he's the young defenseman that i have been longing for the club to call up. hopefully he plays well enough to stay. and hopefully the team gets a damn win tonight.

in between the hockey and The Voice, i'll probably be helping mom with some Christmas shit as well as getting the trash ready to take out.

my uncle isn't home yet. i think the family has finally figured out that the chemo is whipping his ass much more than anyone thought it would. and sadly, that includes the doctors as well. hopefully my uncle also understands that he needs to be completely honest with the doctors and tell them exactly what is going on. as i learned with my stepfather, pride will kill you before cancer will.

and on that uplifting note, i bid you adieu.

i hope everyone had a great day. hopefully your Christmas shopping is done. but not before you remembered to get me something (HINT, HINT).

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

facing an ugly world with nothing left in the soul

so i got a phone call from my mother this afternoon. she took my uncle to his next round of chemo this morning. the appointment was for 9 and they didn't see him until around 11. not exactly the best way to treat a diabetic... these were long chemo doses. plus, they need to see if he has any immediate side effects. so she called to let me know that there was no way she could make her 4 PM appointment at Best Buy. she gave me the number to call and to try to get it rescheduled. so like a good boy, i called. after 20 minutes of being on hold, i suddenly remembered i live in the digital age. so i got into my mother's email, found the confirmation email from Best Buy that was sent yesterday and worked my magic. thankfully, i had all the info needed to reschedule it. so, (fingers crossed), my computer will get looked at 1:15 tomorrow. hopefully that time works for everyone. i have no delusions that it is going to get fixed tomorrow. i get the feeling i'll be lucky if i get it back before Christmas. and seeing that i use that as my cd burner, some kids are going to be disappointed this year. a good lesson for them to learn. you count on other people for things, it hardly ever works out the way you want it to.

it has been another dreary day here. the day started off with a thick fog and we got just enough sun to burn that off. and then it went right back to rain and just the kind of skies that call for a rope and a long note.

i was not shocked with The Voice last night. Korin was in the final 2 for the third week in a row. and there was no way she was going to win against Braiden. all my favorites are still alive. i think Jordan will win it but the dark horse is going to be Emily Ann. she has the look, voice, only 17, and has all the country fans behind her.

the VICE special on HBO last night was great. i wish everyone in the world would get to see it and learn something.

The Muppets was hilarious last night. Scream Queens was excellent. the finale next week should be great.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be American Horror Story, You're The Worst and the Saturday Night Live Christmas Special. on WWE Network, NXT will be on but i'll watch that later tonight.

that's because the New York Rangers play at the fucking Islanders tonight as they renew their rivalry. given the injuries the Rangers have, this will probably have to be another game The King steals.

hopefully i will be drinking a victory beer tonight while i'm catching up on the shows.

i'm really hoping this cough i have is gone by the weekend. i don't want to miss the basketball game because of it.

that's all for me today kids. this rain has my back crying for help. so, it's time to go park myself in the massage chair with an ice pack. good times.

i hope everyone is doing better than i am. i think i'm going to get started on the Christmas cards/gifts to my fans and friends this weekend.

this could only be my life

before i get to a rather frustrating and funny bathroom situation today, here's an update on my uncle. the oncologist told my uncle that he has adenocarcinoma. it is between his spleen and colon. they told him that without treatment, he has probably 3 to 6 months. with treatment, he probably has maybe a year to 18 months. of course, he still has another scan to do that will determine the type of chemo he gets. he does want to do treatment, so he's fighting. the part that scares me is the cancer has probably made it into the lungs and i know where it goes from there. this is the same type of cancer my stepfather had. his went from his lungs to his bones and then to his brain. and my uncle's cancer is far enough along that it is certainly in stage 4.

i did go over and sit with him yesterday, just sort of shooting the shit. i figure i take out the man's trash, i can sit on his couch. of course, after 60 minutes of shooting the shit, i was ready to go. we mostly talked about the pot issue that was being voted on yesterday and life on the farm.

i wasn't surprised that pot failed in this state. the bible thumpers have this state by the balls. i figure the only way medicinal marijuana becomes legal in this state is if jesus comes down and tells all these stupid fucks that it should be. it still amazes me that so many people vote against their own best interest.

ok, so here's the story of why i was taking a shower 20 minutes after taking a shit. mom had left to go with my uncle to his doctor's appointment. i figured, given my luck, i would have a nasty shit while she was gone. sure enough at noon, my stomach started rumbling. in the process of wiping my ass, my back locked up. this is always fun. it more or less becomes just how much fucking pain can i take. somehow, while wiping and wincing in pain, i knocked some shit down into my underwear and shorts. just my luck, i didn't know i did this. so, imagine my joy when i pull up my underwear and shorts when i'm finished and then notice shit on my left leg. this is when i started to laugh as i know this could only be my fucking life. thankfully, the shower is right next to the toilet. of course, it's not exactly easy showering with a bad back. add on to that i'm trying to make sure i don't step in any shit that the water might break off. i know a fucker in Sweden that's laughing his ass off reading this.

to top my day off with a cherry, my doctor called today and had me schedule an appointment for Monday to go over some results. i figure this will be when they tell me i have some fucking disease. good times.

Manchester United actually fucking scored yesterday. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. even better, it was Wayne Rooney that did it. a HUGE win over CSKA Moscow that puts them on top of the group.

the New York Rangers were very sloppy last night and spent nearly the whole damn night in their own zone. amazingly, they still won 5-2. that to me is a huge win over a really good team, albeit the Capitals were their usual whiny bitchy pussy selves last night. that makes it even better when the Rangers eliminate them from the playoffs year after year. enjoy some highlights:

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

The Muppets was pretty funny last night. it also gave an important life lesson every male should know. never ask an ex for help picking out a gift for the new girlfriend. NEVER. The Voice was a recap show that showed the road to the live shows. i am really looking forward to the live shows. Scream Queens was hilarious last night. the ending was really good.

on the DVR tonight will be American Horror Story and You're The Worst. i will be watching NXT and probably Table for 3 on WWE Network.

i got some great FREE music on NoiseTrade today. i will put the links down in the music section.

amazingly, i got most of the people i wanted for fantasy football this week. i have one team with all 3 starting wide receivers on bye weeks. that was a hilarious oh shit moment when i figured that out yesterday. i've been tinkering with my fantasy hockey team as i really need to find the right mix of players quickly. it doesn't help that i'm facing the best team in the league this week.

that's all for me today kids. i am fucking drained. my back is killing me. and i have had enough cancer talk for my next lifetime. hopefully some wrestling and some horror will take my mind off things.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

today we find out just how stupid people really are

i haven't voted in an election since i was 18 years old. i went through the whole process of getting registered and then voted and then quickly realized that it doesn't matter. now, local shit, it probably does matter. but in the grand scheme of things, this world is controlled by the powers that be. i am interested to see what happens in Ohio today. one issue gets marijuana legal in this state. another issue makes it illegal. if both pass, which is what i think will happen because i live in a state of fucking idiots, then the issue ends up in the courts. and nothing good comes out of the court system. and sadly, if pot does become legal in this state, i won't get to enjoy it since my mother is allergic to it. and i'm not sure i would give a shit waiting until she dies to finally enjoy it again. i used it mostly in my teenage years. it really helped me sleep and expanded my brain immensely when it came to my writing. but i was also smoking cigarettes at the time, so i don't want to go that route again to mask the smell. decisions, decisions.

Monday Night Raw had all the makings of a great show last night. yet, it somehow managed to just come off as one of those blah blah evenings. oh what could have been...

Gotham was spectacular last night. it is easily one of my favorite shows on television.

The Voice was ok, right up until the ending. the last battle was awesome.
i am looking forward to the live shows.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Muppets, The Voice and Scream Queens.

the New York Rangers face a tough test tonight against Washington. this will be for first place in the division. i will be definitely watching.

Manchester United plays CSKA Moscow today in Champions League action. i really want to believe United will find a way to win at home, but given the way they have been playing lately, i will have to see it to believe it.

the doctor told my uncle yesterday that he does have cancer. he told him it is malignant. but they STILL don't know what kind of cancer it is or what they are going to do with it. i believe he goes to the oncologist tomorrow. hopefully he will get some concrete answers then. i'm still not sure if i'm driving my mother and him to the visit or not. ah, the life of a pro bono chauffeur.

that's all for me today kids. i hope everyone is doing better than the person next to you. i'm sure that just got awkward for someone.

the joys of constant pain

there has been a steady drizzle all day long here. strong enough that my arthritis is at the fuck the world stage. this is the kind of day that i expect i will one day overdose on heroin. the liquor doesn't help nor does the constant badgering of fuckers on Google+ trying to scam me out of money. one of these days i'll slip off into the void and just get off the internet for good. i suppose i should wait for everything to be paid off first.

my uncle is now back home. he came home today. he had another biopsy done yesterday. they can't tell if the cancer is malignant but the dumb fucks told him yesterday to treat it like it was stage 4 cancer. when my mother told me that i said i hope he quickly asked where the fuck my morphine drip is. if it is supposedly stage 4, he might as well get the good shit. it's painful to know that the doctors in this town are simply grasping at straws, hoping they have the right answer without really giving a shit if they do or not. this is the kind of medical system you get when you let the insurance companies run things. i watched it with my stepfather and sadly, it hasn't changed that much since 2002.

i won all 3 of my fantasy football matchups. i believe i was the underdog in all 3 of them. i also got the Monday Night Football game correct. i went 11-3 on picks, which is easily my best showing this season.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. they had to send the shit in a different direction for the next ppv and i think they accomplished their goal.

The Voice was really good last night. three of the performances i thought were excellent:
i am simply amazed at how young some of these performers actually are. it completely reminds me just how bad my singing voice really is.

Gotham was pretty close to perfect last night. yet another fantastic ending that will keep me coming back for more.

let's enjoy some more music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Muppets and The Voice. the World Series starts tonight but thankfully, so does the NBA season. not that i'm going to watch much of either with hockey going on.

i need to get going. i have trash to pick up which should be really fucking fun with my back. plus, i might actually start looking at some poems and decide what i'm sending where in the next few days.

i will be on here tomorrow before Manchester United plays. hopefully they will do better than Chelsea is doing currently.

i got a wild hair up my ass for some music today. so the 3 songs you will see below all came from iTunes.

that's all for me. hopefully it will be a less rainy, miserable fucking day tomorrow.

drizzle to start the day

i installed Windows 10 on the seldom used laptop i'm using now. i was hoping it was going to be done overnight. my dumb ass forgot to change the standby settings, so it was only halfway done. so most of this morning was getting that done. mom went to the hospital to go see her brother. she asked me when the Red-Blue game is today, so i'm at least assuming she's thinking about going to it.

i just heard from my mother. i guess the cancer is outside of my uncle's colon. it is rare, so rare that most of the doctors have no clue what the fuck it is. so i think my sister's thought to at least send the records to Columbus or Cleveland and their cancer centers is the correct route to go. not saying that i think an 80 year old man is going to beat this, but the cancer being on the outside is a bit of a game changer. or, this could all be just silly people trying to grasp at some ray of fucking hope. who knows.

Undateable last night was excellent. my only complaint is the show is so damn funny, it's too short.

NJPW last night was good. it's the same matches that i watched in January of this year, but that was at 3 in the morning, so i don't mind seeing these matches again.

The Knick was great. this season looks like it is going to be just as great as last season was.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH and Austin City Limits. i believe the artist tonight is Don Henley.

Ohio State plays tonight at Rutgers. i want to believe since they are finally starting the correct quarterback, the blowouts will now commence.

the New York Rangers play tonight at Philadelphia. that should be an interesting game.

since i now have Windows 10 on here, i may try to type up some poems just to get the feel of doing it on here and printing them out on a printer in another room. as you might imagine, technology and i have been at war for most of my life.

just found out that my sister has landed in South Africa. she told mom that if the wi-fi is good enough at the hotel, she will email. i'm hoping she takes some good pictures because i know damn well i'll never make it there in my lifetime.

i listened to Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast late the other night. it is really worth a listen if you would like to hear Roman Reigns the way he should actually sound on television.
you can hear the podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, notsam.com and on the right hand side of this blog.

that's all for me today. i hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday. take it easy and then take it again. have a good bottle of wine and eat like you are a god. and if you happen to feel like sending me some naughty photos of it all, you are more than welcome to do so.

now the fun begins

well, i got the news on my uncle today. they believe it is colon cancer. and the cancer is so involved with the intestines and other shit, that they aren't going to do any surgery. so i suppose when he told my mother that he felt like he was going to die this year, he was probably prophetic in that statement. like this family doesn't hate the holidays enough... my mother is crushed by this news. she can't understand how the cancer never showed up of any scans or tests over the last year. i have no clue how my sister is taking this as she is much closer to my uncle than i am. i can't help but think that both my sister and i have colon cancer on both sides of our family now. talk about losing the genetic lottery. i have no clue what is going to happen next. i suppose hospice care at home is the most likely, which my mother has already told me i'm on shit duty. good times. as you might imagine, chalk today up as another one i'd love to forget.

Manchester United got a 1-1 draw yesterday against CSKA Moscow. any point on the road is a good one but i can't help but think if the two mistakes in the first half didn't happen, United leaves with all 3 points. i blame their goal more on Phil Jones than Anthony Martial. sure, the handball is inexcusable in the box but who the fuck falls asleep on a penalty kick. De Gea did his job making the save, Phil has to get to that ball first. Martial tied the game in the second half with a well placed header. hopefully they can put the game out of their heads quickly as they have the Manchester derby on Sunday.

NXT was interesting last night. the women, as always, were excellent. Asuka will be excellent in the company. the other matches were ok but nothing special. that should change in 2 weeks when Apollo Crews takes on Finn Balor.

our DIRECTV fucked up right at 10 PM last night. it was like everything was fucking frozen. 30 minutes later everything was back to working. i have no fucking clue what happened. all i know is the shit froze right as American Horror Story: Hotel was getting ready to record.

so my disjointed viewing of American Horror Story last night made it really interesting. the show was excellent once again. the cast this season is close to perfect. Lady Gaga has fit much better than i thought she would.

You're The Worst answered the big question that the show was teasing for weeks. i'm really interested to see how they handle clinical depression in a comedy show.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be WWE Smackdown, mostly so i can see the debut of Tyler Breeze. he's a guy that should have been up on the main roster a long time ago. he absolutely owns the Prince Pretty gimmick.

the New York Rangers face the Coyotes tonight, or as i 'm calling it the return of Anthony Duclair. i really hope he doesn't put on a show tonight. but, i fear that he would love to show us fans what we're missing.

i don't have anyone going in the NFL game tonight. i'll probably watch some of it as both Seattle and San Francisco hate each other. amazingly (knock on wood) i don't have many injury concerns this week in fantasy football. i can't believe all 3 of my teams are on 5 game winning streaks. that's bound to end sometime. hopefully not soon.

i'm still on my mother's rarely used laptop. i have set it up in the kitchen. mostly because i'm too lazy to take apart the old computer to make room for this in my room. it's interesting sitting here with just some slow music playing. we have 8 windows in the kitchen, so my imagination tends to start to go a little nuts at times. hopefully it makes for some interesting poems.

mom is talking to me right now about how my sister is adamant that my uncle gets a second opinion. after seeing what happened to my stepfather in this town with cancer, i'm with her. with the facilities in Columbus and Cleveland, it wouldn't hurt for him to get a second opinion. fuck, once again, cancer has taken over my fucking life.

FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that's all for me today. i have no fucking clue when i'll be on here tomorrow as mom is saying we might go to the hospital. good times.

as always, i hope this finds you in a much, MUCH better place than i am.

and the hits keep on coming...

my uncle was supposed to have gall bladder surgery today. he felt fine the last few days and none of us thought anything about it. and then my mother gets a text this afternoon that he didn't have the surgery, they found cancer when they opened him up. they believe it came from the colon, which, if true, would mean my sister and i now have colon cancer on both sides of our family. good times. my mother is a wreck right now as she certainly didn't move next door just to see her brother die. i'm pretending to hope for the best but i'm not a fucking fool. he's 80 years old. i figure in the next day or so we'll know more about all of this. needless to say, my computer dying has been shifted down the importance list.

i put iTunes on my mother's laptop that i'm using. after 30 minutes of trying to figure out how the fuck to allow this computer to play music i had downloaded to another computer, i figured it out. so, at the very least, i do have some music on here now.

the New York Rangers ended their losing streak with a masterful 4-0 win over San Jose last night. i do like that this team is excellent in the 2nd game of back to backs. plus, it was the first start for their backup goalie they got from Chicago. he's the first Ranger goalie to get a shutout in his debut with the team since 1957. that was a sweet tasting victory beer.

The Voice last night was really good. one battle was fucking amazing.

Gotham was awesome last night. the show just keeps getting better each week. The Big Bang Theory was pretty funny. Life in Pieces had me laughing as well. and Men in Blazers was hilarious.

i won all 3 of my fantasy football matchups, one by just 1 damn point. the Giants QB last night did just enough for me to win. my picks for the week though were 7-7. that's fucking horrible for me.

Monday Night Raw was good last night. you could see they were swinging for the fences bringing back so many past stars for the show. not sure if it worked or not, but i will certainly be watching Hell in a Cell this Sunday.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

i watched that Star Wars trailer at halftime of the football game last night and i was just waiting for someone on ESPN to say the nerds are winning. you could see they all wanted to.

one step back into the late 20th century

i now have a phone in my room again. i enjoyed those few months where i had no inclination who was calling or any desire to pick it up. now, there's a phone by my bed. all that truly means is the likelihood of phone sex has gone way up. anything other than that, not really.

just had some kids come to the door trying to sell me food. now i remember why i hate living next to people. one of the good things about being poor, no money to buy shit like that.

Big Brother went sort of how i expected last night. Meg got evicted. the house guests were shocked by the double eviction. i was sad to see James get evicted next as he was one of the only reasons to still watch. Steve won the latest HOH and all that means is Vanessa is sitting pretty until the final 3 most likely. these dumb fucks will realize soon that they should have got her out about a month ago.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll was excellent last night. so was Married.

i did flip between some college football games last night. it's always good to see that shit school from up north lose. i was doing that while trying to figure out what to write in a card to one of my aunts suffering from cancer. that evil fucking disease. i was a little surprised with what i came up with, given that this aunt is on my father's side. but, i'm too old to hold them accountable for my father's mistakes. besides, i have no clue if she'll still be alive when the card arrives. so if anyone wonders why on any given day this blog could become one long depressing post about death, i am absolutely surrounded by it at the moment. my uncle needs gall bladder surgery and is ever increasingly depressed that he's 80 and can't do what he used to be able to do. maybe the unrealistic gene skipped me. or maybe that's why i picked writing as my "job". i'm pretty sure i'll do this until i die or until the words run out.

speaking of that, it's Flashback Friday time. first up today is my poem "at the community picnic". this poem was published in 2010 at Opium Poetry 2.0. you can find the poem by going here: http://opiumpoetry.blogspot.com/2010/08/at-community-picnic.html

the next poem is "a purple sky of tomorrow". this poem was published in 2013 at The Camel Saloon and comes from my endless amount of love poems for all the women that never gave me the time of day. you can find the poem by going here:

ok kids, time for some music:
those last 4 videos are all bands from the local scene around here.

now, some of this and that:

tonight on the DVR will be NJPW.

the New York Yankees take on Tampa tonight from Yankee Stadium. at the same time, team USA will be taking on Peru in an international soccer friendly. i might have to do a little picture in picture action tonight. hopefully i'll be enjoying two victory beers later tonight.

my sister is coming down tonight for this weekend is her 20 year high school reunion. and since she was a class officer, she has to participate in the festivities. not sure if that is better than not even getting invited like what happened to me at my high school reunions. i guess we're going to celebrate her birthday this holiday weekend. it's really on the 8th but i think she has to work. so, i'm hoping it's a good weekend. other than it being hotter than hell and the threat of a popup storm every other hour, it shouldn't be too bad.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i do hope everyone has a great weekend. if you are in the USA, enjoy the holiday weekend. if you are somewhere else in the world, invent your own holiday weekend and get to drinking.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

and just when i thought it couldn't get any worse...

so i waited around all day for the New York Yankees to do something at the trade deadline and they did nothing. it's a bit of a gamble when just about every other team in the American League got "better". hopefully these prospects they have decided to hold on to become the next "Core Four" like they are thinking they will.

the Yankees lost last night in Texas 7-6 on a walk off single. it was a game where the Yankees had plenty of chances to kill them off but never did. oh well. they start a series tonight in Chicago with the White Sox, who are on fucking fire at the moment. it should be an interesting series.

my sister forwarded me an email from one of our aunts last night with some eye opening news. i never knew that colon cancer runs on my father's side of the family. perhaps that is why i didn't sleep well last night. i did finally get all the addresses to my father's sisters. so, i will start the Christmas cards this year. i figure that is a decent start for someone who genuinely hates most humans.

enjoy some music kids:

Big Brother was pretty good last night. it should be an interesting week with James as the new HOH. he wants to carry out the plan Jason had before he got evicted. if it happens, the house will be crazy in a few days.

Married was pretty funny last night. it also reminded me why i hate dating. SDRR was pretty good as well. Lip Sync Battle was probably the first one that did nothing for me, but that was probably because i had no fucking clue who the two stars were. first time i really felt old in a while.

tonight on the DVR will be NJPW and Treehouse Masters.

enjoy some funny shit:

for the Friday Flashback this week, here are 3 poems from the archives:
the darkness in us all
i could just kill a man & empty pockets

i got some FREE music at NoiseTrade today. i'll put that link in the music section below.

i hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. i believe my sister might stop by sometime tomorrow, plus the art i ordered from Fracture Me is supposed to be here tomorrow. i can't wait to see how the photos of the farm turned out.

that's all for me today. call if you need bail money.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
