2020 strikes again...

as a music lover, i'm pretty gutted today. the deaths of Andre Harrell and Little Richard are two direct punches to the dick. all that late 80's and 90's R&B i loved was mostly all due to Andre Harrell. and 59 is just too young to go. as for Little Richard, as a music lover of rock music from the 60's.. you could obviously see the influence he had on the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. not to mention that Jerry Lee Lewis might as well have stolen his entire gimmick from Little Richard. 87 years of rock and roll. thanks for laying the foundation...

i wrote 3 poems last night. of course, i was up until 5 in the morning doing that. i typed them up after a nap and i really think they are good. i'd love to write a few more before i do my next round of submissions.

Smackdown and 205 Live were both pretty good last night. i'm really hoping Money in the Bank is going to be better than i'm hoping for on Sunday.

Betty was good last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was pretty funny last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be the season finale of Saturday Night Live and ROH. i'll probably watch some of the UFC fights tonight and god knows what else.

i know once i get this done, i need to vacuum the house. fun, fun, fun.

i believe my sister is coming down for lunch tomorrow for Mother's Day. so, i'm going to try to be on here before she gets here.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday.

stay healthy.

you would think the world is ending tomorrow...

the way people were acting in the grocery store this afternoon, you would think the snow they are calling for is actually the end of the world sneaking up on us. the store was out of shit left and right. it was like people lined up this morning to pick through everything. on top of that, it has been raining all fucking day. so you can just imagine the joy i have had today.

on to the poetry news. i sent out 37 poems this morning. 3 each to The Beatnik Cowboy and The Apache Poetry Blog (already heard from); 5 each to Horror Sleaze Trash (already heard from), Brief Wilderness, Duane's PoeTree (already heard from), Synchronized Chaos (already heard from) and Misfit Magazine; 6 poems went to The Record magazine. when i hear back from the rest of these places, i will pass along the verdicts.

NXT was really good last night.

Total Divas was pretty good last night.

The X-Files was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, Life in Pieces and Will & Grace.

i have had a splitting headache since i woke up this morning. i get the feeling i may have to drink myself to sleep tonight.

i'm definitely not going to the basketball game tomorrow night after the latest forecast. we're supposed to get a nice thick layer of ice before we get anywhere from 2 to 6 inches of snow. oh great. you would have no clue it's going to turn to that after today with it in the fucking 50's and rainy.

i did listen to the latest Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast this morning. you can check that out by going here: http://notsam.com/wrestlingpodcast/2018/1/11/wrestling-podcast-168-dalton-castle

the joys of arthritis

i kind of figured it would go like this. i've had a good number of poems published in the last 12 hours or so. and i try to do my part and make sure to post them on the places i always post, help get the word out. but, my arthritis is such now that even typing is becoming a fucking nightmare. i feel like i have had 40 some years of trying to find the pleasure in the pain... and just when i need to the most, i won't be able to. if that doesn't sum up my existence on this earth, i don't know what does.

the New York Yankees scored 4 in the first inning last night. so, to see them lose 7-5 to the Angels made me a little fucking angry. one of those games where they couldn't get a big hit when they needed it and the third base coach made one of the worst decisions i have ever seen. i know Aaron Judge has pretty good speed for a man his size, but to send him from second when the outfielder has the ball before the runner even touches third base is inexcusable. fuck, i probably would have fired him on the spot, that's how damn bad it was. the Yankees will try to end their losing streak as they start a series out in Oakland tonight.

NXT was pretty good last night.

Lucha Underground was excellent last night, mostly because Pentagon Dark was back.

The Putin Interviews, Part 3 were pretty interesting last night. i got a good laugh at Putin explaining that he did nothing wrong in Ukraine and it was all Europe's and the USA's fault. it was also the first time i had seen inside The Kremlin in years. i think the only thing that had changed since Stalin was the paint. Part 4 should be interesting tonight. of course, i expect more creative bullshit answers.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and The Putin Interviews, Part 4.

i did listen to the latest Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast today. i highly recommend checking it out.

mom did pretty good today with the occupational therapist. i do like the fact she seems to be sleeping more. that actually gives me a chance to do some shit; like shave, shower, put the dishes away, etc.

there's a rumor my sister is coming down for the weekend. mom's birthday is tomorrow. i still have to figure out a damn card.

i guess i need to go figure out dinner. joy.

taking care of some loose ends...

the only reason i really write down what poems i send to where is to make sure i don't send the same rejected poems to the same place that rejected them. another thing it does is remind me of the places i don't hear back from. i usually will wait 3 to 6 months before the first query. but, when it gets to over a year, like a few places i've had to query here lately, it becomes this tedious fucking thing to do. i sent out about 6 queries today, some dating back to poetry submissions from 2015. i heard back from Oddball Magazine and Live Nude Poems who both passed on the poems i sent. Rusty Truck asked me to send the poems again, which i did. hopefully i will hear back from Scot this time, as i never heard back from him the first time i sent the poems in the summer of 2015. this is where i wish i had enough money to have someone to do this shit for me.

i went to the bank today. just my luck, they were training new employees. oh goody. i guess since i had a roll of quarters and 2 checks to deposit, the new guy was a bit flustered. what usually takes 2 minutes took about 10. thank god i had nowhere to be.

i got gas for 94 cents a gallon today. that'll work.

i was pretty much able to find everything i was looking for at Menards. i'm really hoping the frame i got works for the Ben Harper poster i have. plus, i got the shelving unit i wanted for the garage and a new household air station. the old one from the farm bit the dust. plus, i got all the cleaning shit mom wanted. all the rebates we had and the gift card my uncle gave me for Christmas knocked everything down to under $40. that was a good trip.

Smackdown was pretty good last night.

i really enjoyed the match between Neville and Cedric Alexander on 205 Live last night.

Taboo was super fucking dark again last night. the show is getting better with each episode.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and Total Divas. i'll watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.

i see the celebrity deaths are starting early again this year.

the New York Rangers play tonight against Philadelphia. i'd love to see them enter the All-Star break with a winning streak.

my sister is coming down here on Friday. i guess that's when all of us will be belatedly celebrating my birthday.

i'll be on here tomorrow probably after Manchester United plays.

time is running short

the weather is back to being crazy again. we just had some hail and we're supposed to have snow by the weekend. i guess Spring isn't coming this year.

for National Poetry Month, i give you:

i sent out 5 poems today to Dave Roskos. hopefully he can find a place for them in one of his zines. when i get the verdict back i will pass it along.

the New York Yankees found their offense last night and won their first game of the season 16-6. they can win the series with Houston with a win this afternoon. hopefully they didn't use up all the runs last night.

NXT was sort of a clip show from their excellent Takeover:Dallas event.

Lucha Underground was great last night. from the start of the Trios tournament to the main event, it was awesome.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Big Bang Theory, WWE Smackdown and Lip Sync Battle.

the New York Rangers play the fucking New York Islanders tonight at home in a game that both teams want to lose. a loss could set up an easier path in the Eastern Conference playoffs. so i'm not expecting much or any inspiring hockey tonight.

i guess my uncle is having a hard time dealing with the end being near. i guess he did the exact same thing the rest of the family did. these dumb fucks think the word remission means the cancer is gone, so life can go back to normal. it looks like he's going to go back into the hospital today. good times.

that's all for me today. i have a television and some over paid baseball players to go yell at.

facing an ugly world with nothing left in the soul

so i got a phone call from my mother this afternoon. she took my uncle to his next round of chemo this morning. the appointment was for 9 and they didn't see him until around 11. not exactly the best way to treat a diabetic... these were long chemo doses. plus, they need to see if he has any immediate side effects. so she called to let me know that there was no way she could make her 4 PM appointment at Best Buy. she gave me the number to call and to try to get it rescheduled. so like a good boy, i called. after 20 minutes of being on hold, i suddenly remembered i live in the digital age. so i got into my mother's email, found the confirmation email from Best Buy that was sent yesterday and worked my magic. thankfully, i had all the info needed to reschedule it. so, (fingers crossed), my computer will get looked at 1:15 tomorrow. hopefully that time works for everyone. i have no delusions that it is going to get fixed tomorrow. i get the feeling i'll be lucky if i get it back before Christmas. and seeing that i use that as my cd burner, some kids are going to be disappointed this year. a good lesson for them to learn. you count on other people for things, it hardly ever works out the way you want it to.

it has been another dreary day here. the day started off with a thick fog and we got just enough sun to burn that off. and then it went right back to rain and just the kind of skies that call for a rope and a long note.

i was not shocked with The Voice last night. Korin was in the final 2 for the third week in a row. and there was no way she was going to win against Braiden. all my favorites are still alive. i think Jordan will win it but the dark horse is going to be Emily Ann. she has the look, voice, only 17, and has all the country fans behind her.

the VICE special on HBO last night was great. i wish everyone in the world would get to see it and learn something.

The Muppets was hilarious last night. Scream Queens was excellent. the finale next week should be great.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be American Horror Story, You're The Worst and the Saturday Night Live Christmas Special. on WWE Network, NXT will be on but i'll watch that later tonight.

that's because the New York Rangers play at the fucking Islanders tonight as they renew their rivalry. given the injuries the Rangers have, this will probably have to be another game The King steals.

hopefully i will be drinking a victory beer tonight while i'm catching up on the shows.

i'm really hoping this cough i have is gone by the weekend. i don't want to miss the basketball game because of it.

that's all for me today kids. this rain has my back crying for help. so, it's time to go park myself in the massage chair with an ice pack. good times.

i hope everyone is doing better than i am. i think i'm going to get started on the Christmas cards/gifts to my fans and friends this weekend.

what happens when it literally starts raining cats and dogs?

we're under a flood warning or a watch or an end of the world type shit event going on now as it is fucking pouring rain. my mother felt good enough to go into work today by herself and is going to go to the grocery store afterwards. to say i'm a bit nervous would be an understatement. but, hopefully i'll be putting away groceries right after i finish this blog today.

i decided to clean the toilets and take out the trash today. i told my mother i would at least make an effort when we moved and i would like to think that is what i'm doing.

the New York Yankees lost 4-0 last night in Houston. i only watched the 9th inning, when they brought the tying run to the plate. at least they gave themselves a chance. hopefully they will get back to winning tonight.

i mostly watched the NBA Draft last night. it went sort of like i expected. i was really disappointed that Jordan Sibert didn't get drafted. Dayton hasn't had anyone drafted since 1990. god willing, that will change soon. Sacramento drafted Willie Cauley-Stein. if they keep DeMarcus Cousins, i love the pick. two Kentucky guys controlling the front court. now, just get a decent point guard and the team can start the climb back to being relevant.

Big Brother was interesting last night. the first twist to annoy the shit out of me is 2 people from the show The Amazing Race are now playing Big Brother. something like this will happen each week of the game. i did catch some of Big Brother After Dark last night as well. hopefully in a few weeks the alcohol starts flowing as there definitely seems to be some freaky people in the house this year.

the season finale of The Comedians was hilarious. i'm not sure if it will be back for another season, but hopefully it will be.

here's some funny shit from last night:

today is really all about the NHL Draft. the New York Rangers are trying to get back in the first round. they have been offered a first round pick for Cam Talbot, but they would have to take a bad contract back for that pick. this is a deep enough draft that if i was the Rangers, i'd bite the fucking bullet and do it. so, as you might imagine, i'll be glued to that tonight.

also tonight, team USA plays China in the Women's World Cup. i'm sure i'll catch plenty of that during the draft.

on the DVR tonight, weather permitting, will be NJPW and Vice.

i guess my sister is coming down tomorrow. we're planning on going out to lunch, so it looks like i may be taking a shower tonight.

my sister's friend came by the house this morning to get her furniture that was here. that cleans out even more from the garage. and thankfully they got here long before the rains came.

here's a little music to take you into the weekend:

i hope everyone has a lovely weekend. hopefully the rain stops here before i have to start building an arc.

at least there was a few hours of sunshine

mom has decided to spend her birthday week going through all the boxes here at the house. have i mentioned that most of the boxes are in the garage and the garage doesn't have air conditioning. talk about working in a damn sauna. thankfully, we must have got enough done yesterday that she didn't so much out there today.

mom wanted to go out for lunch today, so we did. we had a guy do some work on our furnace and air conditioner today, so it ended up being a late lunch. after that, we did a little shopping. i'm trying to find a stand for wine glasses, not one that you attach to anything. of course, didn't find it. but, i did find a commemorative football about Ohio State winning the national championship. so, i got that instead. plus, i was looking for some frames. of course, they are all odd sizes, so no luck there either. but i did find some black construction paper that will allow me to finish another project i have for some autograph photos i have. if we would have made it back home before the storms hit, it would have been a perfect day. but that didn't happen. nothing like driving and seeing HUGE lightning bolts hitting the ground a few miles from you. the rain was coming down so hard at one point i felt like a damn storm chaser. i avoided the highway as i figured some fucker would cause an accident. so, i drove a little out of the way, but made it home.

now enjoy a musical break:

the New York Yankees finally won last night, 2-1. they got some great pitching and just enough offense to get it done. they hopefully get the split in the series tonight. they are currently leading in the game.

wrestling last night was very good. sadly, the storms fucked with my viewing for most of the night. so that means i didn't watch much of ROH and TNA at all. but what i did see was awesome.

the match on Lucha Underground last night was spectacular. hats off to Johnny Mundo and Prince Puma for some excellent story telling and some true HOLY SHIT moments. enjoy the highlights:

on NXT last night, Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe beat the shit out of each other. i didn't expect a clean finish as i expect these two will feud with each other for a few more months. plus, the package they put together about Finn Balor was top notch. enjoy both below:

while enjoying a victory beer, i came across some pretty funny shit on tv last night:

i suppose i will flip between some baseball and soccer tonight. on the DVR will be Smackdown (mostly because of Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro) and The Comedians.

if my arthritis allows it tonight, i'd like to get some writing done. or, get a project done with my sports collectibles. if the way i feel now is any indication, it most likely won't happen.

do give the Sam Roberts Wrestling podcast a listen this week. it's a very good show:

that's all for me today. i hope the weather is better wherever you are. i'm currently having a conversation with someone on Google+ who tells me she's this hot woman in Florida but currently is in Nigeria. gee, wonder when the money scam starts.

maybe a shower will do the trick

let me put on the broken record... it's hot, humid, steamy, miserable, and it's been like that today since 8 am. lovely.

mom decided that we needed to clean out the vacuum cleaner. like take it apart and clean it. that's always fun in the heat. hopefully we got all of the dirt and shit. the fun part will happen tomorrow after everything air dries. putting it back together.

we went to Bob Evans for dinner last night. i probably haven't been there in well over a decade. i was a little surprised that the food was really good.

here's something to make you think:

the soccer yesterday was somewhat hit and miss. i left and missed Paraguay's comeback on Argentina. i did see most of the Columbia women's huge upset over France. of course, the mistakes by the officials have been horrendous. i closed my night out by watching the U20 USA team lose to Serbia in the U20 World Cup. they lost on penalty kicks. i was sad to see the fairy tale end, but i'm happy to see some real talent coming for team USA in the years to come.

Power was excellent. i ended up watching that this morning. i really love how many layers the story has this season.

i also watched ROH this morning. i love me some heel Cedric Alexander. that should help his career. plus, the ongoing drama between BJ Whitmer and Steve Corino via Steve's son has been damn near perfect. another great episode.

enjoy a quick music break:

i did find the Yankees on tv last night. of course, i stopped watching once they started having their asses handed to them once again. another day, another loss, 9-4. they have to be the worst built first place team in baseball. they try to avoid the sweep this afternoon. i doubt i watch much of it.

my arthritis has been killing me today. trouble typing, trouble turning the knobs of doors, trouble holding a fork. good times.

i will probably watch some more soccer today before the hectic night schedule starts. since i will be watching the Money in the Bank ppv on the WWE Network, these shows will be on the DVR: the season finales of Veep and Silicon Valley, Last Week Tonight, Nurse Jackie, Happyish and Penny Dreadful. i suppose i will keep track of the NBA Finals tonight on the computer as the wrestling is going on.

i guess depending on how the rest of my day goes will decide if i watch all that late tonight or spend most of my Monday catching up.

that's all for me today. i can no longer find any pleasure in the pain. i'm speaking in the now, not in a metaphorical sense of suicide or something. i do hope your weekend is going good.

a little spring in winter

it got over 50 degrees today. as the guy said on the radio, that probably means we'll have a foot of snow to deal with in March. i, of course, didn't take advantage of the good weather. i've been inside most of today, readying poems for a birthday submission. that's a sure sign that i'm fucked in the head.

last night was a pretty good night of television. Gotham was totally fucking awesome. just when i think that show can't get any better, it does by leaps and bounds. i can't wait for this to come out on DVD or something so i can own it and watch it for every beautiful detail.

the Men in Blazers was pretty funny last night. my mother watched a bit of it as well and was laughing pretty hard at them. i just wish the show was longer. 30 minutes flies by way too quickly.

Monday Night Raw was really good last night. mostly because the veterans were booked great and the surprises truly were the holy shit kind of surprises that reminded me why i love pro wrestling. here are a few clips that made me feel like a child again:

and then Jimmy Fallon reminded me of just how damn hot Jennifer Lopez still is:

i slept pretty good last night. i'm still not happy about waking up around 5 each morning, but i guess i'm just fucking old now. by this time tomorrow, i'll be even older.

tonight will be an interesting one for me. the New York Rangers come on at 7 with their game against Ottawa. and then at 7:30 the Dayton Flyers play at Davidson. so, there's either going to be a ton flipping back and forth or one game will be on mute on the television and the other game will be on the radio. either way, my mom is going to be fucking pissed within 20 minutes. good times.

hopefully i'll be enjoying a couple of victory beers later tonight.

i think in the morning tomorrow i will be emailing some poems out and getting all my mail ready to send. then, i'm hoping my truck starts and i really need to get a fucking haircut. i believe late in the afternoon/early evening, mom is playing on taking me out to eat. i'm guessing sports bar as in all honestly, i'm just a cheap whore.

so, i'm guessing i will be back on here after all that. if not, send a search party.

hard to believe my grandmother would have been 103 today. sadly, she's been somewhere else for the last 22 birthdays.

i highly urge you to read this and share it with anyone and everyone:
http://allymalinenko.com/2015/01/20/welcome-to-cancerland/

that's all for me today. i have to go make dinner as mom is finally trying to take care of her pulled groin. of course, who am i to talk as this pinched nerve or whatever the fuck is ailing me in my left arm isn't getting any better. i suppose the difference is i'm crazy enough to accept the pain and just move on and she isn't. or, maybe i don't want to spend my birthday in a doctor's office. either way, i'm sure you're thinking, just finish this fucker already.

thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

a busy boy and the inevitable wait at the post office

i woke up this morning amazingly refreshed. perhaps i should do more drinking right before i go to bed. what could possibly go wrong in that scenario? i got my ass in gear and decided to get all my Christmas cards done today. so, be checking your mail boxes in a few days to see if you're a lucky one or not. my apologies to my friends and fans not in the USA, my poor ass has nothing for you this year. i'm hoping to make up for that next year. and if you think you should have gotten something from me, chances are i don't have your address or you have suddenly found out what i really think of you.

i got to the post office and i must have been the 7th or 8th person in line. god bless the guy behind the counter, he was going as fast as he could go. and, given that most of the customers were elderly, i'm surprised he still has patience left. he must love me. i know exactly how i want the shit shipped and i have cash in hand. amazingly, the last package i was waiting on for Christmas arrived today. so, now all i have is some wrapping of presents to do. i burned my sister's CD this morning, so i can actually take a breath and relax for a few moments. i think i'll do the wrapping later in the week.

i'm trailing in my fantasy football playoff game by 3 points. thankfully, i have a WR going tonight for Chicago. but, i'd love to see New Orleans actually win the game. so, if i can just get 4 points from the guy, i'll be thrilled. if that happens, i advance to the finals.

the Sunday night shows were awesome last night. The Newsroom was a reintroduction to the characters and why we as the audience care about them. it was an excellent series finale. Homeland was fucking crazy once again. i can't wait for the season finale next week. The Affair was amazing last night. the acting was top notch. and the ending was fucking perfect. that season finale next week should be great.

i was able to watch the last 5 minutes of the New York Rangers game last night after the shows ended. apparently, i didn't miss much. the Rangers won 2-0 over Edmonton. that shutout by King Henrik helped me win my fantasy hockey week 8-2. below are some highlights from the game:

tonight is my usual clusterfuck of a Monday. the season finale of The Voice starts tonight. i'm a little interested in seeing what songs they perform to try to win the show. at the same time, Monday Night Raw will be on. they are coming off a ppv that most people didn't like, so tonight should be real interesting. also, i'll be keeping an eye on the Monday Night Football game. i'd love to enjoy a late night victory beer, but i'm not getting my hopes up. later tonight i'm planning on watching the Men in Blazers show as i figure they will have some fun with the Manchester United win from over the weekend.

after all that, hopefully i'll get some sleep. i'll probably be on here tomorrow after my trip to the bank. got the first bill from my Christmas shopping today, so this deposit will be a timely one.

that's all for me today. i've got to go make dinner. frozen pizza. lovely. i do hope everyone had a great weekend. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

slow news day

so i was watching the news this afternoon about the plane crash in the Ukraine. i fell asleep. i woke up to Israel starting a ground operation in the Gaza Strip. except in my mind, it was the same event. so i'm flipping through the channels thinking WW3 is starting. i eventually took a shower to make sure i was really awake.

mom made some really good turkey burgers for lunch. i think she may have sprinkled on some extra tryptophan on them. at least that's what i'm going with for the long nap this afternoon.

i watched Big Brother last night, just to really see how Donny beat Devin in the POV competition. that made me laugh out loud. so, thankfully, Devin will be evicted tonight and i can go back to enjoying the show.

other than Big Brother tonight, i'm going to try the new comedies on FX, Married and You're the Worst. hopefully the previews didn't have all the good parts. i love some good crass humor.

Wilfred was really good last night. i love how they are doing this final season.

The Bridge was creepy as fuck last night. just when i think that show can't get any better, it proves me wrong.

since i'm not a big fan of golf, there really isn't much sports going on today. thankfully, that will change in the next week or so.

amazingly, the humidity held off for another day here. so, the windows are still open.

my mom and sister went in on some hockey tickets for the Columbus Blue Jackets. i think they did a quarter season. all i know is i get to see my beloved New York Rangers twice next season. it's always fun to wear the enemy colors into a building. of course, when the Rangers aren't playing, i'll just be a fan for those games.

i heard a Todd Snider song on the radio yesterday as i was scrubbing the toilets. thankfully, i found the full, uncensored song on iTunes this morning. i've been playing the shit out of it today.

that's pretty much all for me today. hopefully this finds everyone well. and hopefully no one reading this had anyone on that plane today.

ignoring the pain

yesterday was the first day in a long time that i was tempted to start mixing pain pills and alcohol again. my body ached all fucking day long with all the rain and humidity. miserable isn't a strong enough word. but, as usual with my life, i just ignored it. that doesn't make it go away, but my brain usually wins most wars.

Germany won the World Cup 1-0 over Argentina. the first half was really good. the second half bored me to death. i must have fallen asleep 3 different times. i was awake for extra time. the Germany goal basically came out of nowhere. i thought for sure Argentina was going to get it to penalty kicks. but, hats off to Germany. they were easily the best team in the tournament.

the Yankees lost last night, 3-1, in a rain-shortened affair. i might have watched 3 minutes of the 4 1/2 innings they played. they sit at .500 at the all star break, 5 games out of first place. with so much of the starting rotation on the disabled list, i will be fucking shocked if this team makes the playoffs.

the all star festivities kick off tonight with the home run derby and whatever other shit they do for it. needless to say, i won't be watching. i might watch some of the actual game tomorrow, mostly for the Derek Jeter tributes, etc, but that would be it.

the Sunday night shows were pretty good. Big Brother had a few laughs. Ray Donovan was good. reminded me that i really could use a Spanish woman in my life right about now. Masters of Sex was good. Last Week Tonight was fucking hilarious. The Strain was creepy as fuck. definitely will have to keep that show in the rotation.

as for tonight, basically it will be Monday Night Raw and probably a nap.

got some words swimming up around my head. i'll probably have some poems try to bust out here soon, most likely right as i start washing the dishes. i've been a lazy ass, so i have a big stack to get to.

looks like we have one more night of storms to get through and then it will be unseasonably cool once again. i know one thing, all this rain has done wonders for the corn. hopefully, we will have a great harvest this year. i wouldn't mind, if it is going to be our last, to go out with a bang.

that's all for me today. hope this finds everyone well.
