80 degrees in April... nothing to see here...

i'm not going to get into the global warming rant i normally have on here, if you don't believe it exists you are simply fucking stupid. i can't wait to do the grocery shopping tomorrow, hopefully after the madness of what is coming in the morning is over with.

i did do a little poetry work this morning. i know where my next 20 poems are going. that should happen in the next few days.

here are your videos for this day of National Poetry Month.

the New York Yankees got swept in Houston last night, losing 8-6. they are thankfully off tonight before they start a series tomorrow night at home against the White Sox. it was the first time the Astros ever swept the Yankees. joy.

i did watch a good portion of the NHL playoff games last night. will probably do the same tonight. if you ever watch any hockey, make sure it's the playoffs.

NXT was good last night, as was NXT UK.

Dark Side of the Ring was excellent last night.

What We Do in the Shadows was hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Better Things and Desus & Mero.

i honestly have no damn clue what the Sacramento Kings are doing. they had their best season in years this year and the reward is firing the Assistant GM and head coach.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done. i'm hoping to get the poems out in the morning. hopefully, the storms don't knock out the power or the internet. (knock on wood)

i'm going to check out some of the Frozen Four now. (college hockey final four)

until tomorrow kids...

eradicating negativity in my life...

about a week or so ago, i said something about wanting to eradicate the negativity in my life. well, yesterday, i believe i took two giant steps forward in that process. first up, this woman i had been talking to since August tried to rope me into this scam where i would set up a credit line for her to buy things on. excuse me. now, this was a woman i had thought i was really starting to connect with, but, she's like the rest of them. so, i blocked her. fast forward to last night. my former best friend, the most recent one, contacted me and started to vent about her job. i told her i understand, as a published poet, i've had plenty of shit said about me in social media circles. she took that as me making it about myself and just tore into me, like she normally does when a conversation isn't going the way she scripted it in her head. so, i've had more or less 15 years of this shit, so i told her to fuck off. i then blocked her on every social media platform i have. that felt fucking great to do. hard to believe at one point i wanted to marry that woman and build the rest of my life with her. now, i'm free to be whatever the fuck i want to be. and i honestly hope any success i have drives her fucking nuts. not less than ten minutes after that happened, this happened:

maybe the worm has turned my friends.

of course, earlier in the night, the New York Rangers pissed away another late lead and lost to Columbus in OT, 4-3.

they finally got the part they forgot for the front door on it this morning. honestly, the new doors are light years better than the ones that were here before. plus, mom got black storm doors for both doors. it really looks good.

the grocery store was a bit of a zoo today, but i didn't mind. now, standing in line at the UPS store before i went to the grocery store, that was a little pissy. mom had to return something, so the UPS driver was going to bring the label out and take the package. well, what happened was he came out, dropped the label off at the front door, never rang the doorbell and left. so, i went to the UPS store not far from where i do the grocery shopping. 10 minutes of standing in line, watching these old people not understand any of the fucking directions they were getting... the woman at the counter looked so relieved when she saw all she needed to do for me was scan it and give me a receipt with a tracking number. i had to get gas today and pick up two of my pills as well. all in all, thank god i went in the morning. i was back at the house before 2 in the afternoon.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

nothing on the DVR tonight. i might watch some college football or i might watch the DVD i got for Christmas.

team USA takes on Kazakhstan tonight at the World Juniors. i do plan on watching that.

i will probably be on here tomorrow in the morning. Dayton plays in the afternoon and the college football playoff semifinals are tomorrow as well.

i put my last load of clothes in the washer. i should be done with that before dinner tonight.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. it's the last weekend of 2018, might as well enjoy it.

even a hot shower didn't help

i knew i had to get up early this morning as mom had a doctor's appointment. so, i was hoping the hot shower i took at 1 in the morning was going to loosen me up and help me sleep. so much for hope. i might have got a couple hours at best. and when i did get up this morning, both of my shoulders and my neck felt like i tried to sleep in a position as close to me sticking my head up my own ass as possible. enjoy that visual.

the doctor's appointment was almost 5 minutes long. he wanted to see how the incision was coming along and to know if mom was in any pain. he really thinks the spot above mom's incision is getting better. so much so, that she doesn't have to go back until August. hopefully by then, the spot will be gone.

the New York Yankees didn't do much of anything yesterday in a 4-1 loss. Aaron Judge hit a home run and that was about it. hopefully they will win this afternoon and actually win a series for the first time in a month.

Smackdown was really good last night. the rap battle between The New Day and The Usos was way better than what i thought it was going to be.

205 Live was really good last night as well.

Deadliest Catch was excellent last night. i could just imagine the number of people watching the show that had no clue about Dutch Harbor being bombed in WWII. or the fact that the Japanese occupied a couple of the islands in Alaska during that time.

i did see some fireworks last night. they really don't do much for me unless i'm high.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Big Brother, Lucha Underground and Snowfall. i'll watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.

i did listen to the latest Jim Norton & Sam Roberts podcast. you can find that by going here:
https://soundcloud.com/jimandsamshow/ep-033-bert-kreischer-and-mark-normand

i did watch the hot dog eating contest yesterday. amazingly, i had some hot dogs for dinner last night.

i absolutely loved the two signings the Sacramento Kings made yesterday. adding veterans George Hill and Zach Randolph to this group of kids should be great.

i will probably end up going to Menards today. i'm tempted to go while the Yankees are playing, seeing that they usually play better when i don't watch. i know i need to get some suet and some other bird food. plus, i think they have some solar lights on sale.

i'll be on here tomorrow before my mother's physical therapy session.

4 inches of rain and counting...

i have been in pain all day long. the rain started this morning and hasn't stopped. the field behind our house is starting to have spots where the water is standing. i know a couple of hours ago we were at 4 inches so far. i have no clue when the rain is going to stop.

since the rain was so bad it knocked out the satellite feed this morning for a few minutes, i decided to start writing. i wrote one poem last night and ended up writing 4 more this morning. i typed up all 5 this afternoon. i think a couple of them are really fucking good.

the New York Yankees pissed away a 5-1 lead last night to lose 10-5. fuck me. they start a series tonight at home against Texas.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

i absolutely loved what the Sacramento Kings did last night in the NBA draft. and i haven't been able to say that for years. to come out of the draft with 4 solid players that really can add so damn much to the franchise was well beyond my wildest dreams.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be VICE, NJPW and Real Time with Bill Maher.

i wasn't planning on paying much attention to the NHL draft tonight and then the New York Rangers traded their backup goalie and their top center to Arizona for a defenseman and the #7 pick in the first round tonight. so, i guess i will be paying attention to the first round for sure. the Rangers have 2 picks in the first round and i get the feeling they aren't done wheeling and dealing just yet.

i'm trying to write this while doing mom's laundry. nothing quite like trying to figure out what to type while folding underwear.

i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. i know i have some shit to return that mom doesn't want now. i was going to do that today but decided not to once the fucking monsoon hit. and since the Confederations Cup games start at 11 in the morning here, i suppose i will try to be on here in the morning, maybe right after the morning shit.

now there's a visual to leave you on.

i hope everyone has a great Friday night. hopefully it's not raining wherever you are.

remind me again why i root for the Sacramento Kings?

i woke up this morning and went through my emails. since i didn't watch much of the NBA All-Star game last night, i had no clue what kind of stupid shit the Sacramento Kings did last night. i figured they would trade DeMarcus Cousins, but i figured it would be for more than some fucking spare parts and draft picks. but, once again, it's the Sacramento Kings. they can't get anything right, no matter what the fuck it is. so, they traded Cousins and Omri Casspi to New Orleans for Buddy Hield, Langston Galloway, Tyreke Evans and a 1st and 2nd round draft pick in this year's draft. the first round pick can't be a top 3 pick, so most likely it will be around 10 or so. so they traded an All-Star for 3 guards that stink and two picks they will fuck up. great. at least Boogie gets out and now gets to play with his good friend Anthony Davis. the Kings are definitely testing my fucking loyalty on this one.

the NBA All-Star game was mostly a dunk exhibition and a glorified pick up game from what i did see.

Homeland was really good last night.

Billions was good last night. i do see why so many people think the show is bad though.

Big Little Lies was excellent last night. i never read the book, so i was coming into the show not knowing what to expect. i do love a well acted murder mystery.

Girls was pretty funny last night.

Crashing was really fucking funny last night. i love comedy and know of so many of the comics in the show, i really think i will enjoy it.

Last Week Tonight was fucking brilliant as usual.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Hate Thy Neighbor and Unlocking the Cage. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

mom made an appointment to take the car in today to get an oil change and whatever else needs to be done to it. it has over 220,000 miles on it, so i figure some maintenance will have to happen. she told me about it this morning that she had it changed to this afternoon. that's why i am doing this now.

i managed to get some sleep last night without the help of NyQuil, so hopefully the worst of my cold is now over. of course, i figure the 2 rum and cokes last night did help me sleep.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

with the weekend in sight...

well, i can tell the economy around here still sucks. i went to sell some music today and got $2 per CD. and trust me, i was selling the good shit today. but, beggars can't be choosers, so i took the $32 and came back home. that money will either be spending money in Cleveland or alcohol money beforehand. i guess time will tell.

i got a good laugh today watching this white woman cross the street while i was driving through a black neighborhood on my way to the record store. she was casually trying to cross in a 45 mph zone where most people are driving 60. when i saw her i laughed, said this is why people get hit here. he who hesitates loses. never forget those words.

i did watch most of the NBA Draft last night. i'm not sure what Sacramento was doing. they got a decent return for trading the 8th pick in the draft, but it appears to me they wasted most of it with some shitty draft selections. now, i do like the player they got from Syracuse as i remember he torched Dayton in the NCAA tournament. of course, maybe the team likes not making the playoffs. who knows.

i did see that the Dayton Flyers got a commit yesterday from someone that probably shouldn't be going to Dayton. when you get a 4 star recruit that is the younger brother to a NBA star to pick your school over Florida, you know you're doing something right. welcome to Dayton Kostas Antetokounmpo.
http://www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1681110-dayton-adds-quality-late-pledge

i didn't mind seeing Glenn leave Big Brother last night. the oldest cast member rarely does well on the show. it does appear that the newbies are totally fucking clueless how this game works. i expect the veterans to run the house easily for the first few weeks or so.

Lip Sync Battle was fucking hilarious last night.

WWE Smackdown was pretty good last night. but i'm definitely ready for the show to go live.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NJPW and Vice.

the New York Yankees start a series tonight against Minnesota. hopefully they... fuck, it doesn't matter.

i might watch some of the NHL Draft tonight. unless a miracle happens, the New York Rangers won't have a first round pick tonight.

i'm going to go to the grocery store as soon as i get this done. hopefully, i find some summer beers.

that's all for me today. i'll be on here early tomorrow, hopefully before the Saturday of soccer gets underway.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. call if you need bail money.

who needs the sun anyway

these are the days where i know i'm surely taking a few hours off of the end of my life. burning the candle at both ends... either it runs out or you get burned. either way, dissatisfaction. welcome to life.

i believe it rained last night. that would explain why i could never find a comfortable spot in bed. good times. but, i woke up to a new album from Kendrick Lamar, so the day started off good.

while mom was in her physical therapy session today, i wrote another 7 poems. 4 days into March and i have written 15 poems. i'll gladly take that kind of production at anytime. i haven't had a chance to type them up yet. but, i do think i have a few winners in this batch. (fingers crossed)

afterwards, mom decided she wanted to go out to lunch. we hit up the sports bar we both like, which thankfully wasn't busy. we ate enough that i think dinner tonight is going to be just a sandwich.

then i convinced mom we needed to get gas and go to the grocery store. she wanted to do it tomorrow and i asked what time during the snow would you like to go to the store. we were able to fill up for under $20 and actually remembered everything we had written down on the grocery list that was still at home. good times.

Smackdown was really good last night. as i have stated before, i could watch Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose fight each other for the next decade and never get tired of it. the triple threat divas match at WrestleMania could actually steal the show. if all 3 of the ladies get over the nerves of it being their first Mania each, watch out. the NXT matches that Charlotte, Becky and Sasha had together were totally fucking amazing.

Baskets was hilarious last night. Life in Pieces was great as well.

the New York Rangers fell asleep somehow after they took the lead last night. i happened to change the channel and the fuckers gave up 3 goals to Pittsburgh in a little over 2 minutes. fuck me. worse yet, The King had to leave the game with neck spasms. the Rangers ended up losing 4-1. they play tonight in Washington. the backup goalie is getting the start and they called up a goalie from Hartford to be his backup tonight. hopefully the neck spasms didn't lead to something else for The King. i'm not looking forward to the game tonight.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice, Treehouse Masters, NJPW and an interview with Jim Ross.

i'll probably spend a decent portion of tonight typing up the poems i wrote today. i figure the hockey game will be my background typing noise.

tomorrow night is senior night for the Dayton Flyers. they are playing VCU on the CBS Sports Network. VCU will be playing for the outright regular season title. if Dayton wins, there could be a 4 way tie for first place. there's also the chance that Dayton could be playing for the #1 seed in the A10 tournament as well tomorrow.

i'll be on here early tomorrow afternoon most likely.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. drink, fuck, write, paint, get out of the fucking box for a few hours at the very least.

people watching on overload

so i wrote 10 poems yesterday in the waiting room while my mother was doing her physical therapy. let's just say with the number of old people, the woman with one leg and the kid that asked me if i drove a truck (because i look like someone that would), i had enough to probably write another 20 if i had the time. i typed them up this afternoon and i really like a few of them. i will probably have another round of submissions in a week or so.

my mother's physical therapist said she has much more than just Meniere's disease. she was shocked to learn that mom is still working full time. mom told her that's because none of the doctors think it is serious enough to call it a disability. so, hopefully that shit will soon change. they want her to come down there twice a week, which should be interesting.

after the physical therapy, we went out to eat. this was my birthday meal from Perkins. since i didn't use the coupon the week of my birthday, they sent another one. we showed up just about at a shift change. so imagine my surprise when our waitress went from a lady closing in on 70 to this amazing woman in her 20's. that poem should be coming soon.

and then the grocery store. of course, my mother didn't bring any of that shit along as she didn't think we'd get to the store as early as we did. thankfully, i was able to remember most of the shit that was on the list. and i figured we might as well get some food for when we're watching the Super Bowl so we don't have to go out again this weekend.

we ended up back home before 6 PM. i think she thought we were going to be pushing 8. thankfully, that wasn't the case.

the New York Rangers started off like shit last night, giving up 2 goals in the first 8 minutes. thankfully, the games are 60 minutes. the Rangers scored the next 4 goals to win 4-2. they next play against Philadelphia tomorrow afternoon.

The Big Bang Theory was hilarious last night. Life in Pieces was very good. Baskets was fucking weird as hell and great. Lip Sync Battle was ok, other than the fact that Tim Tebow was on it. thankfully, Nina Dobrev was his opponent. talk about easy on the eyes.

WWE Smackdown was really good last night. i am really enjoying how they are building AJ Styles up. plus, anytime i can watch Kevin Owens beat the shit out of people, i'm all for it. all in all, a good 2 hours.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

i listened to Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast today finally. i highly recommend it if you love Lucha Underground as much as i do.

on the DVR tonight will be NJPW, VICE and Treehouse Masters.

i will probably watch team USA take on Canada tonight in a soccer friendly. hopefully they win so i can drink myself to sleep tonight.

i will probably be on here in the morning tomorrow as my afternoon is pretty much packed with sports. the Rangers and the Dayton Flyers play in the afternoon.

i finally got my Sacramento Kings t-shirt in the mail yesterday. it's hard as hell to find something in my size that has the Kings on it. but, i had a 15% off code from a survey i did on the NBA, so i finally have something to wear from my favorite NBA team. now if they would just win more...

this was going to be a good one...

so i was up at 6 in the morning because i knew i had to drive my mother around this morning. of course, little did i know that driving wasn't going to happen until 10 AM. as i watched the storm coverage on television, i more less braced for a shitty day. and other than a few hours, that is exactly what i got.

the drive to the lawyer's office is a long one. but, the papers mom had to sign will greatly help her taxes, so i didn't mind making the drive. after the drive, we went out to a late breakfast / early lunch. i had a coupon for 22% off at a place, so of course we went there. it was a little crowded, but ok. i should have ordered some coffee as that might have helped me. i couldn't find a comfortable spot for my left hip at all. i realize i'm going to have to really up my pain tolerance and quickly.

after we got home, i took a nap before Manchester United played this afternoon. i figured i would need the sleep.

well, well, well, where the fuck has this Manchester United team been all season? scoring in the first half? holy shit, i thought they forgot how to do that. 3 goals in a game? yet another holy shit. feels like it has been ages since i have seen them play like this. goals from Lingard, Martial and Rooney in a very clean and efficient 3-0 win over Stoke.

i just got done watching the New York Rangers piss away 2 leads and lose at New Jersey 3-2. so much for my fucking good mood.

The X-Files were pretty good last night.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good as well. i really enjoyed Owens vs. Ziggler and just how crazy Dean Ambrose really is. plus, i think they are doing a good job putting over AJ Styles.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight is Total Divas and The Muppets. hopefully both of them recorded without any problems. it's raining pretty heavy here.

i got my test results back from my blood work. all the numbers were better than the last time. i just don't know if they were improved enough that he'll take me off of the pill he's had me one for the last couple of months. i'll find that out on Monday i suppose.

that's all for me kids. the hip is bothering me and i need to go angrily drink after a Rangers loss. thank you Manchester United for giving me this chance to vent.

i hope this finds everyone well. i guess the groundhog said we're going to have an early spring. it's 50 in February and we're having a thunderstorm. an early spring? no shit.

the war with arthritis

these days where the sun doesn't exist, the days where it feels like it is raining inside your body, where each step or breath or thought comes with an amount of pain; these are the days where i'd love to curl up in bed with a needle or go grab a bottle of something strong and find the train tracks. if this is what i have to look forward to for the next 40 years or so, i promise i'll be checking out before i hit 50.

the New York Rangers rebounded nicely last night, though i did get pissed when they gave up a 2 goal lead in the 3rd period. thankfully, they responded quickly and took back control of the game. the Rangers beat Buffalo 6-3. that's a nice way to go into the All Star break.

The X-Files was very good last night. i have always enjoyed a show that is a bit of a mind fuck. plus, i love a good conspiracy theory every now and then.

Monday Night Raw was ok last night. i did enjoy the matches between Owens and Ziggler and Styles and Jericho. and the triple threat match they set up for the next pay per view has some potential to it, Ambrose vs. Reigns vs. Lesnar. i just wish the show was more wrestling and less nostalgia. when the 2 guys made to look great on the show are The Rock and HHH, it takes me back 15 years. that is the complete opposite of what the company should be doing.

enjoy some music kids:

now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Total Divas.

i did catch some of the Sacramento Kings game last night. glad to see the refs still stick it to the Kings any chance they get. leave it to the officials to ruin what should have been a great night for DeMarcus Cousins.

i've got a few lines swimming in my head that might turn into a poem sometime tonight. hopefully it happens after i take a shower and not during the shower. you'd be amazed at how many poems i have created while washing my balls or taking a shit. creativity is something i don't know how to turn off.

i will be on here earlier tomorrow. the Dayton Flyers are playing Saint Louis at UD Arena and mom and i will be there.

i hope this finds everyone enjoying a beverage that's too strong for an umbrella.

the eve of something

i was certainly hoping today was going to be a good day. but given the storms last night and my inability to ever get comfortable in my bed, i've been a cranky fuck all day long. my right hip is killing me today. i've decided not to put anything on it and just accept the pain. this is most likely a sign of impending insanity. so be it.

today was another morning where i was racing to the toilet after eating breakfast. i decided not to take any Imodium after this one, as i doubt that shit does anything good for my intestines. plus, i've made my chili for dinner tonight, so why would i want to block all the glorious shit coming from that?

WWE Tribute to the Troops last night was ok. i wasn't expecting much and that's exactly what i got. NXT was pretty good. it was nice to see Sami Zayn back in action. plus, 2016 should be the year that Chad Gable and Jason Jordan make some huge strides. they are amazing as a tag team.

today i watched The Who Live in Hyde Park. i recorded that a few weeks ago and finally decided to watch it. they are a huge influence on my musical taste and kind of how my mind works.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

my fantasy football finals start tonight as i will have 4 players playing in the San Diego vs. Oakland game. i really hope it is a high scoring shootout as i definitely need the points to get an early jump on my opponent. i know if i end up losing both finals i will be pissy for the rest of 2015.

i'm sure there are some Christmas programs on television tonight, but i will be watching football. i'm not really big on traditions anyway. my sister has to watch Home Alone and A Christmas Story every single year. i suppose if i really loved this holiday, i would be doing something like that. i wasn't blessed with the gift my sister has. she hardly remembers any of her childhood. i can recall years by each fucking day. good times.

i hope everyone is doing good. i hope the weather is good wherever you are. it's in the upper 50's today. crazy for Christmas Eve. i guess there is supposed to be a full moon on Christmas. that should be interesting.

i will do a very short blog tomorrow. my best to you and yours. have a very happy holiday and may something you actually want be under your tree.

so, i guess i'm supposed to be single until i die

when the question got asked this morning, i was a little stunned. not that it was asked, but that it was asked again. anyone that knows me knows that i have had horrific luck with meeting women on Google+ in my life. chalk today up as yet another one. and this was from one i actually thought was legit. we said our hellos this morning and then she wanted to know what bank i used. my first thought was holy shit, it's happening again. she said her mom needed to send her some money. her mother is in Texas. i said something about it being sent online and that there would be no need for my help in this matter. and right after whoever typed back ok, the next thing that pops up is exactly what you see in every you have won money from Nigeria email you get. all i need is your full name, address, phone number, etc. i started to laugh and asked if you would like my credit cards and bank account as well. i hit the block button before i got a reply. holy fucking shit. i have purposely opened myself up as i know i need fans, friends, etc. as a writer if i ever want to make a little money doing this before i die. but if part of that means i am going to get scammed every other day... i might just have to shut down the whole fucking thing and go back in my hole. i feel sorry for anyone that is of the opposite sex and actually does like me. the amount of fucking hoops they will have to go through will probably drive anyone away. so, there's how my morning went, how was yours?

enjoy some music as i clean my pallet:

i am still fucking pissed from the USA losing last night to Jamaica 2-1 in the Gold Cup. once again, the shitty fucking defense killed them. plus, it doesn't help that they lacked urgency when it came to scoring. now, they will play Panama in the 3rd place game and have to face either Jamaica or Mexico in October to see who plays in the Confederations Cup in 2017. i'm not shocked at all the columns i see today calling for the coach to be fired. i doubt that happens, but he's definitely on some thin fucking ice now.

i also watched some of that Mexico vs. Panama game last night. to any American that watched that game but doesn't watch many games from Mexico or South America regularly like i do, now you see what you have been missing. it's usually a damn near riot every game.

the New York Yankees won last night 4-3. that gives them another series win. this afternoon, they go for the sweep.

Big Brother did a decent job but didn't go far enough to show just how far off the deep end Audrey has gone the last few days. i truly can't wait for her to be evicted tonight.

wrestling was pretty good last night. NXT did the usual contract signing shenanigans that always happen in the WWE. that being said, the rematch between Finn Balor and Kevin Owens should be great. Eva Marie has made some real strides but she still has a long way to go. hopefully she makes it because she totally has the look of a star. and i do hope that Bayley gets the title soon, mostly so Sasha Banks can stay up on Raw and Smackdown. Lucha Underground was great last night. excellent storytelling as usual and i am totally psyched that Ultima Lucha will start next week. that should be awesome.

here's some funny shit:

i have been pleasantly surprised with who the Sacramento Kings have signed this season. they probably won't make the playoffs, but they should be way closer to being respectable once again.

after the Yankees game this afternoon, it's either going to be a haircut or a trip to the grocery store. not sure what will happen first. tonight on the DVR will be Big Brother, Married, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll and Lip Sync Battle.

that's all for me today. hopefully everyone reading this is doing better than i am.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

what happens when it literally starts raining cats and dogs?

we're under a flood warning or a watch or an end of the world type shit event going on now as it is fucking pouring rain. my mother felt good enough to go into work today by herself and is going to go to the grocery store afterwards. to say i'm a bit nervous would be an understatement. but, hopefully i'll be putting away groceries right after i finish this blog today.

i decided to clean the toilets and take out the trash today. i told my mother i would at least make an effort when we moved and i would like to think that is what i'm doing.

the New York Yankees lost 4-0 last night in Houston. i only watched the 9th inning, when they brought the tying run to the plate. at least they gave themselves a chance. hopefully they will get back to winning tonight.

i mostly watched the NBA Draft last night. it went sort of like i expected. i was really disappointed that Jordan Sibert didn't get drafted. Dayton hasn't had anyone drafted since 1990. god willing, that will change soon. Sacramento drafted Willie Cauley-Stein. if they keep DeMarcus Cousins, i love the pick. two Kentucky guys controlling the front court. now, just get a decent point guard and the team can start the climb back to being relevant.

Big Brother was interesting last night. the first twist to annoy the shit out of me is 2 people from the show The Amazing Race are now playing Big Brother. something like this will happen each week of the game. i did catch some of Big Brother After Dark last night as well. hopefully in a few weeks the alcohol starts flowing as there definitely seems to be some freaky people in the house this year.

the season finale of The Comedians was hilarious. i'm not sure if it will be back for another season, but hopefully it will be.

here's some funny shit from last night:

today is really all about the NHL Draft. the New York Rangers are trying to get back in the first round. they have been offered a first round pick for Cam Talbot, but they would have to take a bad contract back for that pick. this is a deep enough draft that if i was the Rangers, i'd bite the fucking bullet and do it. so, as you might imagine, i'll be glued to that tonight.

also tonight, team USA plays China in the Women's World Cup. i'm sure i'll catch plenty of that during the draft.

on the DVR tonight, weather permitting, will be NJPW and Vice.

i guess my sister is coming down tomorrow. we're planning on going out to lunch, so it looks like i may be taking a shower tonight.

my sister's friend came by the house this morning to get her furniture that was here. that cleans out even more from the garage. and thankfully they got here long before the rains came.

here's a little music to take you into the weekend:

i hope everyone has a lovely weekend. hopefully the rain stops here before i have to start building an arc.
