welcome to the apocalypse

Game 7 of the World Series last night was fucking crazy. the Cubs got out to a big lead and then blew it (of course). the game went to extra innings, had a rain delay, crazy manager decisions, a little bit of everything. the Cubs won the game 8-7 in 10 innings for their first World Series title since 1908. i know a good number of Cubs fans that thought this day would never happen. so, enjoy the fuck out of it. you deserve it.

Lip Sync Battle was pretty funny last night.

Any Given Wednesday was really good last night.

You're The Worst was very good last night.

American Horror Story was bloody as hell once again last night. i'm very curious to see who makes it to the end of the season still alive.

Lucha Underground was good last night.

Total Bellas was a little sad once again last night.

NXT was really good. i think i got done watching everything around 3 in the morning.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Big Bang Theory, Life in Pieces and Better Things.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Edmonton. two high powered offenses that are clicking... this might be one of those games that will look like a game out of the 80's. 7-5, 8-6, something crazy like that. or, knowing how the sports gods work, the game will be 1-0. hopefully i'll be enjoying a victory beer later tonight.

Manchester United got scored on today in the first 90 seconds of the game. it was a crazy fucking bicycle kick. they eventually went down 2-0 to Fenerbahce on a perfectly placed free kick. Wayne Rooney scored late to make it 2-1 but they could never find the equalizer. it might have helped if they wouldn't have waited to the end to actually show some fucking urgency. now, Manchester United is in danger of not making it out of the group stage of the Europa League. even worse, Paul Pogba got injured in the first half and given the team's luck at the moment, i'm sure he'll miss the weekend. they play Sunday at Swansea. The Special One will be watching from the stands as part of his punishment from the FA. when it rains, it fucking pours.

i need to go to the grocery store now. mom has medicine i need to pick up and i need to get a few other things. hopefully, i will be back before the hockey game starts tonight.

i'll be on here in the morning tomorrow.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

today we find out just how stupid people really are

i haven't voted in an election since i was 18 years old. i went through the whole process of getting registered and then voted and then quickly realized that it doesn't matter. now, local shit, it probably does matter. but in the grand scheme of things, this world is controlled by the powers that be. i am interested to see what happens in Ohio today. one issue gets marijuana legal in this state. another issue makes it illegal. if both pass, which is what i think will happen because i live in a state of fucking idiots, then the issue ends up in the courts. and nothing good comes out of the court system. and sadly, if pot does become legal in this state, i won't get to enjoy it since my mother is allergic to it. and i'm not sure i would give a shit waiting until she dies to finally enjoy it again. i used it mostly in my teenage years. it really helped me sleep and expanded my brain immensely when it came to my writing. but i was also smoking cigarettes at the time, so i don't want to go that route again to mask the smell. decisions, decisions.

Monday Night Raw had all the makings of a great show last night. yet, it somehow managed to just come off as one of those blah blah evenings. oh what could have been...

Gotham was spectacular last night. it is easily one of my favorite shows on television.

The Voice was ok, right up until the ending. the last battle was awesome.
i am looking forward to the live shows.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Muppets, The Voice and Scream Queens.

the New York Rangers face a tough test tonight against Washington. this will be for first place in the division. i will be definitely watching.

Manchester United plays CSKA Moscow today in Champions League action. i really want to believe United will find a way to win at home, but given the way they have been playing lately, i will have to see it to believe it.

the doctor told my uncle yesterday that he does have cancer. he told him it is malignant. but they STILL don't know what kind of cancer it is or what they are going to do with it. i believe he goes to the oncologist tomorrow. hopefully he will get some concrete answers then. i'm still not sure if i'm driving my mother and him to the visit or not. ah, the life of a pro bono chauffeur.

that's all for me today kids. i hope everyone is doing better than the person next to you. i'm sure that just got awkward for someone.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

how ecstasy can quickly become misery

i had a pretty damn good evening last night. my sports teams won, i was able to stay awake for SNL and ROH, got the clocks turned back, and got some decent sleep.

i wake up this morning feeling good. got through my email and whatnot in good time, got the trash picked up, had breakfast, helped my mother, and just as i was changing out the trash bag in the kitchen, that oh fuck feeling hits me.

i clinch my cheeks and try to get to the bathroom, but, this time i didn't make it. i'm not sure how i can take care of my mother when i can't even take care of myself. needless to say after a horrific storm of cussing, my mother came in the bathroom. can't imagine a more humbling situation for a male at age 37. wiping off shit from your legs with your mother watching.

the cats are now fed, the trash is down at the end of the lane and i have a toilet i need to clean, so i will try to make this quick.

the New York Rangers exploded for some goals last night and another win, 5-1.

i listened to most of the Dayton Flyers basketball game last night. they held off a pesky Findlay team to win 96-87.

i thought Saturday Night Live was pretty good last night.

ROH last night was excellent. some great action between Kevin Steen and Mike Bennett. i could see that feud having some legs.

i have one big injury concern today in fantasy football. but, that game isn't until tonight. so i just have to remember to check the inactives list around 7 tonight. other than that, i feel pretty good about my teams today.

i've got a huge lead in fantasy hockey that i'm hoping i don't find a way to blow today.

i did type up those 3 poems i wrote the other day. i think they are pretty good. i'm sure today's debacle will bring some more poems.

my mother is feeling a little better. i think more than anything, she's just tired of feeling like shit. i don't think she thought she would turn 60 and her body would just fall apart at once.

ok, enough babbling. i need to get this shit (bad choice of words there) done before the pregame shows come on. hope everyone is doing better than i am.

peace and chicken grease.
