my poems "all their little trophies", "the day of the dead", "games on the radio", "election day" and "haven't found a sheep yet" have been published at Synchronized Chaos. you can read the poems by going here:
i heard back from Cristina at Synchronized Chaos on my poetry submission from earlier today. my poems "all their little trophies", "the day of the dead", "games on the radio", "election day" and "haven't found a sheep yet" have been accepted for publication.
so, i got to the Toyota dealership on time, amazingly. i'm not a morning person anymore. after about 45 minutes, they told me what was up. the check engine light was not about the hose. i guess the thermostat is shot. and a speed censor needs replaced. they didn't have all the parts there, of course. so, at first they wanted me to just leave it and they'd get me a rental, etc. but, i wasn't interested in that since my back is being an asshole these days. so, i get to take the Highlander back on November 15th and they will fix it then. all in all, it should be (hopefully) less than $700 for everything. i already paid over $150 of that today. so, that was my morning.
i hope everyone has voted. if you have voted for the criminal, i'm not really interested in your thoughts or opinions. trust me, i do understand voting for the lesser of two evils. and sure, if i was a billionaire, i probably wouldn't want to pay taxes. but i'm not, and i vote accordingly. plus, given my years of history studying Russian propaganda, etc, it is real simple to pick up on it in the political ads, especially on the right. it is always about fear and a thinly veiled message of hate and discord. sadly, Ohio is so far to the fucking right now, there is no damn reason to watch election results tonight. i can already tell you what will happen. Trump will declare himself the winner tonight and warn that if the results change by morning, which they will, the fix is in and it was rigged. and then we get the fucking circus again, except he won't be doing this from the oval office this time. and honestly, he told everyone the plan the other day when he said he never should have left in 2020. what the fuck do you think he is planning this time? i honestly thought we fought a fucking revolution so we wouldn't have kings and queens here. or maybe the history i learned isn't what is taught these days.
ok, enough fucking politics...
The Voice was very good last night.
What We Do in the Shadows was fucking insane last night.
Monday Night Raw was excellent last night.
the Dayton Flyers won last night at home, 87-57, over St. Francis (PA)
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
nothing on the DVR tonight.
i will probably watch some college football and hockey tonight.
today was the NFL trade deadline. the New Orleans Saints made probably the biggest trade of the day:
i should be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done.
i need to go start dinner, so that's all for me today kids...
until tomorrow...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
i could have titled this blog voter suppression day, but that would be too fucking obvious. i read the story out of Detroit of a place not having any voting machines or the video from Georgia of the machines not having any cords to plug them in. given all the lengths people go to to make sure people of color don't vote in this country, imagine if they put that much effort into actually running the country. god fucking forbid.
i sent out 14 poems earlier today. 4 to Great Weather for Media and 5 each to Synchronized Chaos and Horror Sleaze Trash. when i hear back from these places, i will pass along the verdicts.
The Voice was really good last night. i can't wait for the live shows.
Monday Night Raw was more or less, a bunch of fucking rematches with a tag title change. since the show was recorded (the WWE is in Europe at the moment), i pretty much already knew what was going to happen. that's why i had no problem having a conversation with the muse while the show was on in the other room.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, The Jim Jefferies Show and the season finale of Mayans M.C.
the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Montreal. hopefully, they will continue their winning streak.
the landscapers came by this afternoon and planted the tree they had ordered for the yard. it will be interesting to see if it survives these fucking winds today.
i don't plan on watching election results tonight. i know how stupid the people in this state are, so i'm not expecting any of the candidates i voted for to win.
i do need to pick up the trash here and next door. hopefully, i can avoid a political discussion with my aunt. we have similar views, but i'm really not in the mood today.
i will be on here tomorrow early, well before Manchester United plays Juventus tomorrow.
and long before mom and i go to see the Dayton Flyers play their first regular season game tomorrow night against North Florida.
i hope everyone that is registered to vote did so today. i could say i don't care who you voted for, but that would be a lie.
until tomorrow kids, if there happens to be one...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
i haven't voted in an election since i was 18 years old. i went through the whole process of getting registered and then voted and then quickly realized that it doesn't matter. now, local shit, it probably does matter. but in the grand scheme of things, this world is controlled by the powers that be. i am interested to see what happens in Ohio today. one issue gets marijuana legal in this state. another issue makes it illegal. if both pass, which is what i think will happen because i live in a state of fucking idiots, then the issue ends up in the courts. and nothing good comes out of the court system. and sadly, if pot does become legal in this state, i won't get to enjoy it since my mother is allergic to it. and i'm not sure i would give a shit waiting until she dies to finally enjoy it again. i used it mostly in my teenage years. it really helped me sleep and expanded my brain immensely when it came to my writing. but i was also smoking cigarettes at the time, so i don't want to go that route again to mask the smell. decisions, decisions.
Monday Night Raw had all the makings of a great show last night. yet, it somehow managed to just come off as one of those blah blah evenings. oh what could have been...
Gotham was spectacular last night. it is easily one of my favorite shows on television.
The Voice was ok, right up until the ending. the last battle was awesome.
i am looking forward to the live shows.
enjoy some music kids:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be The Muppets, The Voice and Scream Queens.
the New York Rangers face a tough test tonight against Washington. this will be for first place in the division. i will be definitely watching.
Manchester United plays CSKA Moscow today in Champions League action. i really want to believe United will find a way to win at home, but given the way they have been playing lately, i will have to see it to believe it.
the doctor told my uncle yesterday that he does have cancer. he told him it is malignant. but they STILL don't know what kind of cancer it is or what they are going to do with it. i believe he goes to the oncologist tomorrow. hopefully he will get some concrete answers then. i'm still not sure if i'm driving my mother and him to the visit or not. ah, the life of a pro bono chauffeur.
that's all for me today kids. i hope everyone is doing better than the person next to you. i'm sure that just got awkward for someone.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
