the Yankees lost last night at Houston, 4-2. hard to win when you strike out 17 times in a game. and once again, Aaron Boone didn't use the bullpen how he should have (how many times does Clarke Schmidt have to fail in high pressure situations for you to stop putting him in those...). they play Game 2 tonight.

the MLS playoffs resume tonight. Philadelphia plays FC Cincinnati and El Trafico will be the other semifinal (LAFC vs. LA Galaxy).
i'm hoping i will get some poems written today while mom is at physical therapy.
