today is going to be nothing but strong winds and rain. oh goody.
the New York Rangers defeated the Coyotes last night, 3-2.
AEW Dynamite was amazing last night. the match between Hangman and Bryan Danielson was off the charts great. a 60 minute time limit draw masterpiece. now, i can't wait to see them do it again.
The Masked Singer finale was crazy. i did guess the Queen of Hearts correctly, it was Jewel. i would have never guessed The Bull in about a million guesses.
Young Rock was pretty good last night.
Kenan was pretty funny last night.
Vice News Tonight had two great episodes this week. they are done until 2022 arrives.
Hard Knocks was excellent last night.

on the DVR tonight will be Desus & Mero. i'll watch NXT UK sometime tonight on Peacock.
mom has a doctor's appointment this afternoon. i'm going to try to go to the bank before i take her there.
the grocery stores yesterday were crazy. but, i did get everything that was on the list.
so, Manchester United has had their Saturday match at home against Brighton called off. COVID is winning again. joy.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. kind of depends on how much my arthritis kicks my ass today.
until tomorrow kids...

i think we got maybe a little over an inch of snow. hell, i didn't go outside until it had all stopped. i had to get the paper and mail, plus the trash can and recycle bin. i put some salt out on the walk up to the front door as i know there are some packages coming. as for the driveway, fuck it, it's going to get warmer and it will melt.
The Voice did not go like i wanted to last night. as soon as the guy i thought was going to win finished 5th, i knew some bullshit was in order. of course, he was black as was the woman who finished 4th. i said to my mother, watch, that little fucking kid is going to win. sure enough. i guess the producers must have thought we gave a shit about Gwen vs. Blake in the final. boo.
i think i got some sleep last night, close to 6 hours. that was when i devised my plan with the SoundCloud recordings. i think i have it mapped out that the last one will come out sometime on Christmas day. hopefully, you have checked out the latest one, "stuck in neutral".
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, NXT, AEW, the season finale of The Masked Singer and the Saturday Night Live Christmas Special.
i did watch a good portion of the Liverpool vs. Tottenham game today. i'm not happy, i was hoping both teams would drop points.
i should be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays. if they don't win tomorrow, i'll be apoplectic.
we finally put a Christmas tree up today. mom doesn't want a lot of shit up this year. i think that is mostly from my sister deciding she didn't want to participate in Christmas this year, because of the pandemic. i'm still not buying my sister's bullshit excuse that she couldn't shop the way she wanted, so she didn't want to do shit this year. she shops all the fucking time. i mean hell, she works from home and is constantly browsing the internet all day long. i'm not going to pry her open and find the real reason though, i don't think my mother can stand that this Christmas. so yeah, fun times as always.

we got a couple inches of snow last night. there's supposed to be a couple more on the way this evening. i was thrilled to see that the driveway was already cleared when i got up this morning. and much to my surprise, the newspaper was at the front door. i wouldn't mind if that's the case tomorrow as well. mom has her injection at noon tomorrow and depending on the weather, i'm not sure how early we will have to leave. the roads were fine today for her physical therapy.
now for a little poetry news... i heard back from The Blake-Jones Review on the poems i sent last month. they decided to pass on them. i wrote 7 poems today while mom was doing physical therapy. i typed those up this afternoon. i like most of them.
i did some cleaning around the house yesterday. mom was slightly shocked.
WWE TLC was pretty good last night. it could have been better, but i've been saying that for years now.
the season finale of Watchmen was fucking great last night. i seriously hope there is a season 2.
Dublin Murders was really good last night.
Ray Donovan was good last night.
Shameless was excellent last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be The Voice and Moonlight Sonata: Deafness in Three Movements. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.
the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Nashville. hopefully the boys will get a win.
the New Orleans Saints play their final home game of the regular season tonight against the Colts. the Falcons did the Saints a favor yesterday by winning out in San Francisco, so i'm hoping the Saints will win tonight and send the NFC playoffs into chaos.
today is one of my really busy self-inflicted days that i love. unless of course, the games don't turn out how i want and then it's just all shit.
i did take mom out yesterday in the rain. other than forgetting to use her cane at times, she did pretty good. now, i believe she is done with Christmas shopping.
both NFL games yesterday were a little nuts. the Texans beat the Jets, 29-22 and the Browns won at the Broncos, 17-16. hard to imagine that Cleveland still has a chance to make the playoffs.
ROH was really good last night.
Saturday Night Live was excellent last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Ray Donovan and Escape at Dannemora. i'll be watching WWE TLC for most of the evening.
Manchester United plays at Liverpool in a few minutes. i'm hoping against reality that United pulls off a victory today.
the New York Rangers play this afternoon at home against Las Vegas. i'd love to see the Rangers not blow a fucking lead today and actually win.
the Dayton Flyers play Tulsa this afternoon at the Mohegan Sun. i hope Dayton wins but i have no damn clue if they will or not.
all that is back to back to back and will go right into WWE TLC. so yeah, i'll either be really happy and hopefully drunk while watching wrestling tonight or i'll be a bitter asshole wishing the matches were better.
i am really looking forward to the wrestling tonight. at least on paper, the event should be really, really good.
at some point today, my sister is supposed to show up. i need to give her a few things to take back home for Christmas.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after a trip to the bank.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday is even better.

so i wanted to be somewhat productive this morning. i went out to get gas for the car. of course, the wind was bad enough that the door closed on my bad leg before i could even fully get out of the damn thing. nothing quite like some blood before 9 in the morning. after i got the gas, i went and got breakfast. i was limping pretty bad when i walked into the house. mom asked me what happened. i simply said life.
after breakfast, i did take a shower. there's nothing quite like the feeling of warm water and soap hitting a fresh wound. thank god my pain tolerance still exists.
shopping this morning with mom wasn't too bad. we went to Office Depot first as she had some store credit that was going to run out soon. i got some envelopes i needed and a cheap notebook to write in. she had enough store credit to cover all of that. after that, we went to Meijer. that's the only store around here where mom can find small bottles of spices. it felt like we were restocking the pantry today. i got some more cheap notebooks for me to write in and a little sign for my room. I GET MY CARDIO BY RUNNING FROM ADULT RESPONSIBILITIES. that pretty much sums up my life i suppose.
the New York Rangers won last night against the Kings, 4-2. hopefully they can get another win today up in Boston.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
NJPW was excellent last night.

i saw the news this afternoon that the New York Yankees are bringing back CC for another year. the contract makes sense as well, $10 million. they still have enough room under the luxury tax number to bring in another starter as well.
it looks like i will be going to the Dayton Flyers game tonight by myself. mom isn't feeling that well. i get the sense that the shopping this morning was about all she could handle today. oh well. hopefully, i will get to see a better game than the last time Dayton played. it would also be nice to see a damn win.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays and before the New Orleans Saints take on the New York Jets.
i hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday. call if you need bail money.

before i gripe about single digit temperatures and no fucking sun for another day, a little poetry news.
i sent out 21 poems today, most likely my last submission of 2016. i sent 5 poems each to Horror Sleaze Trash, Easy Street and Synchronized Chaos. i sent 6 poems to The Recusant. when i hear back from these places, i will pass along the verdicts.
it was cold as fuck again this morning. thankfully, the temperatures have been rising, of course, that means we're going to most likely get some freezing rain tonight. good times.
the guy working on the furnace showed up on time this morning. he told me that we'll most likely have to get a new igniter for it in 2017. that's better than a new furnace, and cheaper.
The Big Bang Theory was very funny last night.
Life in Pieces was hilarious last night.
Total Impact was funny last night. some of the matches were just laugh out loud for how bad they were. seeing a ton of the old faces from my youth simply reminded me just how long i've been watching wrestling. but, in the end, if the object was to be memorable, they pulled it off. i still won't be a regular viewer, but crazy shit will always get me to stop and watch.
i didn't watch much of the football game last night. i certainly didn't miss anything, but i picked the game right.
the New York Rangers won last night, 2-0 over Dallas. i nearly lost my voice when The King got run over by that piece of shit Cody Eakin. thankfully, The King was able to return to the game. he was spectacular last night. Rick Nash scored the game winner shorthanded. the Rangers added an empty netter for the final score. they next play at Nashville on Saturday.
Eakin did get suspended for 4 games for the play. hopefully he will also get his ass whipped when Dallas comes to play in New York.

thanks to the ones who have already sent me Christmas cards. i really do appreciate it.
i guess the insulation project has been rescheduled for next Friday. that's going to be a grand clusterfuck for me. i have an eye appointment and a basketball game that day as well. oh joy.
it's supposed to get up to 50 degrees tomorrow. that should be high enough to get everyone sick after 3 days of it's fucking cold.
i hope everyone has a great weekend. i'll be on here in the morning before Manchester United plays. if not, i will certainly be on here before the Dayton Flyers play Saturday night in Chicago.

i was feeling pretty good this afternoon. i just got done watching some wrestling and then it started raining. it's almost like it's a trigger now... my back started to tighten up, my hands started to ache... the whole damn body just wanted to go into a cocoon. it's a damn good thing my mantra is find the pleasure in the pain. i don't suggest that masturbating while in pain is for everyone, but it does have a way of turning the screw so to speak. enjoy the visual.
NXT Takeover: London this afternoon was awesome. i really enjoyed most of the show. i thought the tag team match and the main event were the best ones. plus, anytime you can see Finn Balor come out looking like Jack the Ripper, you know it's going to memorable. it was certainly an excellent way to spend my afternoon.
i guess my uncle is going to be moved to the nursing home right down the street from us. i think the family is having a hard time understanding that he isn't going to be around forever. i don't know if i have ever come across so many people that just are unwilling to accept death as what it is. that there is some cure or hope or whatever the fuck that is going to keep him around forever. quite honestly, it's fucking baffling.
the New York Rangers did just enough to get a win last night. i thought the kids (McIlrath and Skjei) played pretty good. i'd love to see the team keep them both around for the rest of the season. this team needs some youth. a much needed 4-2 win over Edmonton. they go back out on the road next, i believe to Minnesota.
i was happy that Jordan won The Voice last night. he truly has a wonderful voice. plus, to dominate like he has on iTunes all season, he truly deserved to win. that being said, i have no doubt that Emily Ann Roberts will have a much better career in music.
enjoy some music kids:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be American Horror Story.
i will be watching Abby Wambach's final game tonight. as a lover of the sport, it can't be understated what she has meant to Women's soccer in this country.
other than that, i will probably be helping my mother with some more Christmas shit.
hopefully i get to bed at a decent hour tonight. i've been finding myself up at 3 in the morning for the last few nights. that's not fun when you wake up usually before 7 in the morning. i guess i will sleep well when i'm dead.
i hope everyone had a great day. if you didn't, go tell someone else about it.

i had a hard time falling asleep last night. it used to be that the sound of rain would put me to sleep. now, it's nothing but pain for me. so when i heard it raining at three in the morning, i knew i was going to be in for a long day. that's pretty much exactly what it has been.
i did make it to the bank to make a deposit. there wasn't much going on at the bank. i still go to the one in the town i grew up in. and honestly, that fucking town is more or less on its last legs. hopefully the last business out remembers to turn off the lights.
a big thank you to my buddy Sam Roberts for what he sent me today. i finally got the stickers i ordered back in May with a big surprise... an autographed Hulk Hogan picture. that's what i call a fucking cool early Christmas present.
i advanced to the finals in my fantasy football playoff game last night. i ended up winning by 10. of course, the winning points didn't come until the end of the game. needless to say, i was a bit pissy all night. but, the Saints did win the game (31-15) so that victory beer helped calm me down.
The Voice was really good last night. when i saw the original performance from Matt on team Adam, i knew after it was over that he was going to win it this year. the song and performance blew me away. if he doesn't win tonight, i will be totally fucking shocked.
Monday Night Raw was just as good as it was bad. i did like the ending though. Brock Lesnar beating the piss out of John Cena and then the handshake between Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins. hopefully that means some great things in the future. i heard the rumor that they are thinking about cutting the show back to 2 hours. that would be a very smart move as the writers obviously can't fill 3 hours at all.
i caught most of Men in Blazers. fucking hilarious as always. i did love their take on the Manchester United game.
tonight is yet another clusterfuck on television for me. Smackdown is live tonight, so i'll try to watch some of that. but, of course it will be on at the same time as The Voice finale and the New York Rangers game in Calgary. i tell ya, i'm going to get that damn Elvis wall of televisions sometime before i fucking die.
since mom wanted a few of the songs from The Voice last night, i had a little fun on iTunes today. i figure i hadn't bought anything from there for a few months, so it was ok. all the songs you'll see below came from there.
i think i'm going to start wrapping gifts tomorrow. i just use newspaper to do it. i try to avoid the obituaries... try.
if all that goes well for me, i may try to do a little writing and maybe get one last submission out there before the end of the year. i've got a few poems swimming in my head. at least the words are up there. i guess i need to turn them into something.
that's all for me today. it's supposed to start getting colder here again. almost like mother nature remembers it's supposed to be winter or something here. hopefully the heat in the great room keeps on working.
thanks again to all three of you for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

if you'd like to get me something for Christmas, please feel free to get me ANYTHING off of my Amazon.com Wish List. you'll find a direct link to it on the right hand side of the blog.
yesterday was mostly a sports day for me to forget. Manchester United looked lost and disinterested for most of the game against Everton and lost 2-0. there are reports today that David Moyes is going to be fired. i'll believe it when i see it.
the New York Rangers got up 2-0 on the Flyers and then feel into their usual Game 2 trap. for some fucking reason, they took the foot off the gas and got shelled, losing 4-2. not pretty.
the New York Yankees turned a win into a near loss into a win in extra innings yesterday. 5-1 in 12 innings. they play 3 games at the Red Sox starting tomorrow night.
the Sunday night shows were good as usual. Nurse Jackie made me long for my days on drugs. Californication is the show i always wanted to write. Silicon Valley was really good. i think that show is really starting to click. Veep is always funny as sadly, that's how the government actually works. Total Divas was really good. i need to get to Hawaii one day before i die. and Years of Living Dangerously is so sad to see how this planet is being raped by the greedy and the ignorant. i usually have to have a rest period after that show or i'll go to sleep angry.
tonight is my usual struggle between The Voice and Monday Night Raw. The Voice is live tonight, so i'll probably give that some more attention.
spent most of today doing some running for my mother and fucking around on iTunes. mom has this one spot that is leaking where it looks like the liquid glue they used to close her up didn't work. so, that's been fun trying to get that bleeding stopped while trying my best to not cause anymore pain. that's a little tricky to say the least. she got some sleep today, so hopefully she'll start feeling better soon.
it's supposed to rain tonight into the morning. that should help either both of us sleep better or be angry as fuck with pain. i'll let you know tomorrow.
check out the right hand side of the blog for my latest gift, the i crave freebies links. they actually work. use them people.
that's all for me. be well. hope everyone enjoyed the weekend.
