that phrase has become a go to in the last few years for me. i try to apply that to everything i do anymore. poetry, sports, watching tv, anything... what i have found is my frustration has simply grown that others don't have the same philosophy. now, i have tried to mend my asshole ways and not take that frustration out on others. but, taking frustration out on myself is an old ass pastime that has never been as productive as i would hope. which leads me to the playoffs last night...
the New York Rangers lost Game 5 last night at home to Carolina, 4-1. considering they went into the third period up 1-0 last night, i'm a little pissed at the lack of urgency they showed in the last 20 minutes. with that being said, they are still up 3-2 in the series. Game 6 will be Thursday night at Carolina.
here are your highlights from the NHL playoffs last night.
here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs last night:
The Voice was really good last night. i have no damn clue who is going home tonight.
Monday Night Raw was excellent last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be NXT, The Voice and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon 10 year anniversary show.
the New York Yankees play tonight in Minnesota.
i'm sure i will watch some of the NBA and NHL playoffs tonight.
now, tomorrow, everything gets a bit tricky for me. mom has a doctors appointment in the afternoon. i will have to do the grocery shopping after that. that means i am going to try to get the blog done in the morning tomorrow. i also need to go to the bank tomorrow. plus, doing all this in the afternoon means i will miss watching Manchester United play the final home match of the season against Newcastle.
i need to get the trash picked up and figure out what i'm making for dinner tonight.
this rain has been just enough today to be fucking miserable.
until tomorrow kids...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
if the pain in my bones is correct, it will be raining here in a few hours. in a perfect world, i'll be home from the grocery store before it starts. in reality, it will probably be raining as i'm putting the groceries into the car. good times.
last night was a pretty fucking funny one. i laughed so damn hard i nearly pissed my pants and passed out, at the same time. you talk about talent. the first thing that made me howl was this from Lip Sync Battle:
Big Brother went as i thought it would. it should be an interesting week with one of the twins as HOH. Married was hilarious last night. and i think i'm really going to enjoy Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll. that show made me really laugh. and to have Robert Kelly on drums makes me laugh even harder.
then came The Tonight Show. as i told my mother this morning, this completely reminded me of Carson in the 70's:
i haven't laughed that fucking hard in a long time.
now enjoy a long musical break my friends:
i had a fan send me this next song a long time ago. i still think of her even though we have long since lost touch. so, wherever you are Kelly, i do hope you are well.
the baseball season starts back up tonight. the New York Yankees will be at home playing Seattle. hopefully the boys can get on a nice winning streak to start the second half.
on the DVR tonight will be NJPW and Treehouse Masters.
and then late tonight, Manchester United takes on Club America in Seattle, Washington. i'm really interested to see how all the new players look. plus, i never turn down a chance to have a victory beer.
i feel like today is going to be a good one. it's always nice to wake up to poems being accepted. and then i found some new FREE music from Wilco and Third Eye Blind.
i smile when anyone says i make this shit up. god, i really wish that was the case. but, sadly, all the "good" poems comes from experience. and i get those published a hell of a lot more often than when i just sit back and let my imagination take over. now i like the imagination ones better, mostly because they didn't involve me going through any fucking pain to make them.
i hope everyone has a great weekend. i will be back on here sometime before the USA plays Cuba tomorrow in the Gold Cup.
the weather is supposed to be really hot and sticky this weekend. just perfect weather for fat people like me.
enjoy that visual.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
so today did not go exactly as planned for me. mom decided that she wanted to go to the store, so my day of gift wrapping is going to be a long night of one. we're celebrating Christmas this weekend as my sister is on call for her job over the holidays.
winter has set in here again. i could definitely tell when i was doing the dishes or when i was out feeding the cats and birds; my back has been killing me all damn day. good times.
so, on the way to the store i heard a news tease that two players got kicked off of the Dayton Flyers basketball team today. i found out who they were and when i got back from the store, i found out what they did. Devon Scott and Jalen Robinson, both juniors, got caught stealing from dorm rooms at 4 in the fucking morning over the weekend. the coach kicked them both off the team permanently. so, that leaves the team with only 8 scholarship players and none over 6 feet 6. to say i'm a bit pissed is an understatement, especially considering Scott was one of the fucking captains. to go from an elite 8 run to this shit. and what kills me is two fucking dumb asses pissing away a chance to play at a school i would have given part of my soul to be able to play at. Saturday's game is going to be real fucking interesting now. fuck me runnin'.
the New York Rangers won last night in Calgary 5-2. Rick Nash continued his great play this season with 2 more goals. this marked the first time in franchise history that they won all 3 games on the Vancouver/Edmonton/Calgary trip. here are some highlights to the game:
my sister sent me a picture of the tickets to the NHL All-Star game next month. looks like we have some fucking great seats for this. i might actually have to take my camera for this one.
The Voice shocked the shit out of me last night. i thought for sure Matt was going to win. so, when Craig from Team Blake won, i literally said holy shit. team Adam had the other 3 finalists. Matt still had the number one song on iTunes after the show was over. but, when i saw that Blake has 4 million more twitter followers than Adam, it started to make sense. i believe Craig is on The Tonight Show tonight, so i'll probably watch that while i'm wrapping gifts.
also tonight i'll be watching Lucha Underground and American Horror Story. that should be an interesting night of television.
that's all for me today. i hope everyone had a great day. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

it feels like i have been on the computer all damn day long. i just happened to look at the time and got that 'oh fuck' feeling that i need to get going.
i spent most of today going through the piles and piles of CDs i have and deciding what i was going to burn and/or sell. that took a few hours. given that, you can imagine just how many CDs i have. i picked out over 30 to try to sell tomorrow. hopefully i make a little money. i would love if i made enough to cover what i have already spent for Christmas.
of course, i'll be repeating this process in a month or so when we start the move. i have so much shit, i'm not sure what i'm going to be doing with it. fuck, i've been living here since 1997. you can imagine what has piled up around here.
tv last night was pretty damn good. Lucha Underground was fucking awesome last night. the ladder match was the best match they have had to date. i loved it. below are some of the highlights:
American Horror Story was excellent as well. i certainly love how sick the show is getting.
and then, Jimmy Fallon once again found a way to make me laugh my ass off:
mom found out the price it's going to cost to have the county deal with the cats...$60 a cat. fuck me. i guess if anyone wants any cats, please contact me. i suppose i have to hope the new owner of the farm, whoever the fuck that ends up being, loves cats. now the moral dilemma, do i stop feeding them? i can't imagine me doing that. fuck fuck fuck.
the fantasy football playoffs start tonight. i have Arizona's defense going tonight. hopefully they get me off to a good start. i'm a comfortable favorite as of right now, but i know that doesn't mean shit. it also doesn't mean shit that i have beaten the other 3 teams in the playoffs in the regular season. i'll be in and out of the game for most of the night.
i think The Big Bang Theory is new tonight, so i'll definitely be watching that.
i'm not real sure when i'll be on here tomorrow. mom has some clothes she wants to donate tomorrow and since that place is not far from the place i go to sell music, we're carpooling tomorrow. i figure we will probably end up doing lunch and the grocery shopping while we're out as well. so, maybe i'll be on here after all that. don't get your hopes up that i'll be a good boy and post early in the morning. i feel like i really need to get some fucking sleep.
as my mother has said for the last 20 years... getting old is not for sissies.
thanks again to all 3 of you for letting me waste a few minutes of your time.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

today was one of those days where i just marveled at the incompetence of certain human beings. how a package with my address ends up in a post office 40 miles away from me is apparently a mystery to everyone involved. if it did end up at the wrong post office, it's supposedly on a truck going back to another city to be rerouted to the correct address. this is the special kind of stupid. of course, i found at today at the post office i have my PO Box at, they don't actually look at the addresses. they simply scan everything as delivered and then sort them. how anything gets to the right address is simply a game of chance i guess. and these assholes wonder why everyone sends shit online now. so, now i have to check in the morning to see if the package has been re-scanned somewhere. what pisses me off more is this is one of my mother's Christmas presents. amazingly, one for my sister came today and last i checked, it hasn't even been shipped yet according to amazon.com. this is going to be a crazy fucking Christmas, i can already feel it coming on.
i did watch The Voice last night. i guess the horny housewives got their wish, they voted the last woman off of the show. i have a feeling Matt from Team Adam is going to win it all this year, unless Adam somehow fucks it up (like he has done before).
the Dayton Flyers play on the road tonight at the alma mater of my mother and sister. no tv for the game, so i will be going old school and listening to it on the radio. hopefully i will be drinking a victory beer later tonight.
also tonight i'm planning on watching Lucha Underground and American Horror Story.
saw this last night and laughed pretty good:
i heard from the muse last night. we hadn't talked for a few weeks. it sounded like she is doing well. she did express her worries for me with the upcoming move. i appreciated it, though i think my cage needs to be rattled a bit. and nothing will do that better than making me live around people again for the first time in 17 years. it truly will be a sink or swim type moment. thankfully, i haven't been afraid of death since i was a child.
that's all for me today. thanks again for letting me waste a few minutes of your time.

i was pleasantly shocked this morning that Manchester United FINALLY got rid of David Moyes. when i read that they only had to pay him 1 year of the 5 years he had left on the contract because the club didn't qualify for the Champions League next year, i knew it then made financial sense to dump him. now, i'm not happy that the guy i want to replace him has already said no, but i'm pretty damn sure whoever they get will do better. Ryan Giggs will manage the team for the last 4 games. i'm sure the players will actually respect him.
i did catch a good portion of The Voice last night. i have no clue who is going home tonight. the talent this season is really fucking amazing.
Monday Night Raw started off with a brutal beating of Daniel Bryan that cast quite the shadow on the rest of the show. of course, i found out after the show that his dad died suddenly and i suppose they needed to write him out for a week for the funeral, etc. makes sense in hindsight. i didn't agree with RVD going over Cesaro. he's way too good to be in a mid card feud with Jack Swagger.
tonight is an impossible night of television for me. somehow, i'm going to try to flip between the Yankees at Red Sox, Rangers at Flyers, The Voice, and Deadliest Catch. plus, other playoff games in hockey and basketball. now, i know there's no fucking way i'm going to pull this off, but i will try.
took my mother out to the store today to get her meds that the doctor called in and some other shit we needed. she feels bad that i have to help her, so she bought me some rum. i'm just enough of an asshole to not say no. the bleeding has stopped for her, finally. she does believe she has lost most of her hearing in her left ear. i keep telling her to give it time, etc. i don't think she's in the mood for pep talks. oh well, at least she's slowly getting better. she's going to have a nasty scar though behind her ear. i get the feeling i'm going to call her van Gogh at some point.
saw this last night and it made me laugh
hope everyone is doing well. until tomorrow kids. take your vitamins, eat your veggies and pray to whatever the fuck you please.

first off kids, here is your national poetry month goodies for the day:
i went through the stack of unpublished poems i have and came up with 25 i'm going to send out. i'm going to try to stagger these submissions throughout the month as i really can't sit at the computer for hours on end anymore. i think i know where i'm going to send the poems, just need to do my double check and make sure i'm not resending something that was previously rejected. ah, paperwork. good times.
the New York Rangers set the franchise record with their 25th road win of the season last night, 3-1. Marty St. Louis FINALLY scored his first but more importantly the Rangers best defenseman and the best one on my fantasy hockey team got blindisded late in the game and left the arena with his arm in a sling. he did travel with the team to Colorado and not back to New York, so i'm going to assume that's a good sign. i really hope is good to go for the rest of the season.
the New York Yankees shit the bed to start the season, losing 6-2. and it never really felt that close. the game was so bad that i rarely turned back to it while watching The Voice and the shows after it. they play again tonight. i'm not going to get pissy until the losing gets to the insane stage. losing twice to a team with a payroll less than the cost of your infield would be at the insane stage.
speaking of The Voice, it was excellent last night. i believe i know who can win the show and probably witnessed the best battle of the season last night:
just amazing. can't wait to see her in the live shows.
woke up in pain this morning as it was already raining and i was up after 3 hours of sleep. the arthritis medicine seems to be working, so maybe i caught it early. and my neck seems to be getting better each day now.
sometime during the Yankees game tonight i'll flip over to watch Legit and Ali G. hopefully the Yankees will be winning when i do so.
that's pretty much all for me today kids. i think i'm going to sneak in a nap before i have to help put the groceries away.
i'll be on here tomorrow sometime. not sure when as i believe i'm going to start sending the poems out tomorrow. wish me luck or tell me to fuck off. they both get the desired effect.
peace my enemies. be well, be creative, be drunk, be destructively good at whatever you want, be warm, be naked, be cheap...
later...

it started raining last night, but amazingly i was able to get some sleep. painful, but i got a few hours. the wind really started to kick in this morning. i checked the radar and decided i better get my ass moving. i got the cats fed and got into town before the snow hit. we only had one piece of mail. i made it back home before it started to snow. near white out conditions at times, but, in the end, just a fucking dusting. hopefully this wind now dries everything out before it gets down to the single digits tonight. hopefully this is the last bit of winter for this season. i'm sick of this shit.
i started doing some neck exercises today. just really wanted to stretch the muscles to see if i could make some more progress. they definitely helped so far.
finished my brainstorming this morning and came up with the 10 songs i needed. so, now i just need to get all of other songs my cousin wants downloaded and i'll be good to go. i'm hoping to get this done by the weekend.
the New York Rangers disappointed the shit out of me last night. completely outworked the entire game. if Hank wouldn't have been as good as he was, they would have lost by more. 3-1 loss in a game that really never felt that close. they start a back to back on the road tomorrow. they better have their asses in gear as they are a few more losses away from falling out of a playoff spot.
saw the news today that the New Orleans Saints are going to try to trade away my favorite player, Darren Sproles. i'm not happy about this, but i just hope they send him to a place where he'll have a chance to play and win. he deserves at least that much.
i believe the episodes of Legit and Ali G are new tonight. i'll hopefully be out of the shower in time to watch those. other than that, it's the crap shoot to see if i can stay up to see the late night shows or not. i did a pretty good job last night. i didn't fall asleep until halfway into Late Night. i imagine that was due to my brain overworking to try to understand the Spanish Juanes was singing in his performance last night on The Tonight Show. i got a few words here and there. not bad for not working on it since high school.
i did catch a little of the New York Yankees this afternoon. i was flipping between that and all the NFL free agency news. the Saints got a good safety. here's hoping they do a little more than just that.
that's all for me. i need to get over to iTunes and start doing some pricing. hope this finds everyone well. and warm. and ready for warmer weather. and hopefully not involved in the fire on the west coast or the apartment explosion on the east coast. seeing i know people in both places, this has been one of those afternoons where i wish i could just sleep all of it away.
peace bitches...

i have spent most of the day looking at weather reports. how this next monster storm is tracking has me a little worried. most every model i've seen has my area getting hours of freezing rain/sleet. that hopefully will be wrong or there is a good chance there will be no fucking power here on the farm. i'd prefer 10 inches of snow to all that freezing rain. hopefully, knock on wood, they are wrong like they usually are.
the New York Rangers played a great game last night, defeating Chicago 2-1. Cam Talbot was great in goal, and should have got the shutout. he had 2 amazing saves in the final seconds to keep the game from going to overtime. they next play in Philly on Saturday.
here's some funny shit from Jimmy Fallon:
i did watch the new episode of The Big Bang Theory last night. always funny. that show is so well written.
as for tonight, i'm sure i'll be bouncing around some basketball and hockey games, all while watching the tree house show most likely and whatever is on the Food Network as well. and probably a healthy dose of Weather Nation as well.
i do know a storm is coming. i can feel it in my bones. i'm amazed i haven't taken another pain pill today. my left arm has been killing me. but, i did have a little fun watching the cats enjoy the sunshine today. we must not have any coyotes on the property anymore as the cats were all over the fucking place today. up in trees, down by the creek, and then they of course shit in unison in the backyard. i imagine there will be some poems from that.
i'll be on here tomorrow in the afternoon most likely. the Dayton Flyers play a MUST WIN game at 11 in the morning. at this rate, with how i feel, there is no chance in hell i'll be going to that game. i believe it is on ESPNU. so, hopefully i'll be enjoying a victory beer while on here tomorrow.
hard to believe it is the end of the month already. hopefully everyone has enjoyed my subtle black history month tributes.
i hope this finds everyone well. hope everyone has a great weekend and hopefully mother nature doesn't fuck any of us in the ass this weekend.
peace and chicken grease...

so i woke up this morning to the news that Finland was getting their starting goalie back for today's game. my first thought was oh shit. after watching Finland humble the USA 5-0 to win the bronze, i was correct. the USA got exactly what it deserved today. the team basically quit and played selfishly and like shit. Finland deserved the game and the bronze medal.
so, after that debacle, it was time to watch Manchester United. their 41st game of the year and 41st different starting lineup. at this point, i hope Moyes uses a different one for every game just for the sake of being an asshole. 0-0 at half didn't exactly fill me with hope. but, a pk from RVP and a wonderful goal from the insanely rich Wayne Rooney and suddenly, a 2-0 win. MUCH needed 3 points. hopefully the team can continue to get healthier and really do well in the upcoming Champions League games.
while that game was ending, the Dayton Flyers were starting on the radio. they must have decided they didn't need to try in this game as they started off colder than a dead person. down 17-2 at one point. and early in the second half, they were down 18 points. then, either the lights went on or the coach threatened death to all of them as Dayton came all the way back to win 57-54. helps when the other team plays not to lose instead of playing to win. Dayton is now 19-8 and firmly on the bubble for the NCAA tournament.
i'm currently enjoying that second victory beer. and it is my favorite, Sam Adams Cherry Wheat.
i wrote 3 poems before going to bed last night. i typed them up this afternoon as alcohol helps ease the pain of typing. 1 of them i really like. i'm planning on going through all the poems here next week to get a few submissions ready.
i did watch the tree house show last night as they were building a recording studio up in a tree house. if i only had some fuck you money...
as for tonight, plenty of college basketball to flip through and then some ROH to end the evening. hopefully i stay awake.
here is probably my favorite moment from last night:
i'll be on here tomorrow sometime after the gold medal game at the Winter Olympics. and after i pick up the trash and get it down to the end of the lane. and after i feed the cats and try to explain to them how it can be 60 one day and then be snowing the next. and sometime during the Daytona 500 as i'm not doing any NASCAR fantasy this year, so i really don't give a shit. my favorite driver is back in Indy Car again.
hope everyone has had a wonderful Saturday. if you are going out tonight, drink one for me. and remember, only fuck the ones that cough.
peace and chicken grease.

i'm trying to get this done before a fuck you amount of storms comes rolling through here. if you somehow don't see this until hours later, you'll understand.
i got good and bad news from the doctor today. the good, i have shown enough progress that i can continue on the path i am on. he upped the nerve pill a little and gave me more pain pills. the bad, the insurance company says that i have to go through physical therapy and it has to fail me before i can get a MRI. might be the dumbest fucking thing i have heard, but i imagine it is to save them money, not the patient. needless to say, since i have shown progress, physical therapy isn't happening. now, if i haven't shown more progress in a month when i go back to see him, physical therapy will be happening. my big goal for this evening is to try to sleep in a bed for the first time in 3 weeks. my fingers are crossed.
the Dayton Flyers started off colder than shit last night. but, they finally woke up and absolutely took over the game. finished the first half on a 20-4 run that gave them the lead by 6. they went on to win 65-53. another must win on Saturday and they will be right at the door of march madness. when this team is clicking, they are really good. when they aren't, it is bowling shoe ugly.
i got home from the doctor/sports bar/grocery store in time to see the USA women's team lose in OT to Canada in the gold medal game. i was really sick when i found out they blew a 2 goal lead with a little over 3 minutes left in the game. just brutal. hopefully the men have a better fate tomorrow.
my tomorrow will be Olympic hockey and hopefully a victory beer.
the victory beer i had last night put me to fucking sleep better than i have for 3 weeks. here is what i missed on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon:
now that is some funny shit.
i'll probably be bouncing between basketball games this evening. maybe a little of the Olympics, but i saw most of what i wanted to see live during the day. of course, if the weather is too bad and the satellite signal goes down, i won't be watching shit. then it will be a night listening to the radio. i haven't had one of those in quite some time.
i hope this finds everyone well. hope the weather is less crazy in your neck of the woods.
be well. be creative. be drunk. be naked. be the train at the end of the tunnel of hope.

we had an ice storm move through here last night that started off with some thunder. the weather this winter is straight out of a fucking b-movie. thankfully, it wasn't enough ice to bring down power lines or knock down any trees. although, i did wake up to plenty of branches down in the yard. when i saw how icy it was this morning, i didn't bother to even try to deal with it. i tried to get some more sleep as the sun started to make an appearance. thankfully, it damn near got to 50 today and melt most of the ice. it looks like it will be above freezing for the rest of the week. that should melt most of the snow and leave a good bit of mud everywhere. that will make it fun walking over to feed the cats.
i was in and out of the hockey action today at the Winter Olympics. the quarterfinals are now set. Sweden plays Slovenia, Finland plays Russia, USA plays Czech Republic, and Canada plays Latvia. i feel pretty good in predicting Sweden, USA, and Canada will win. i have no damn clue in the Finland vs. Russia game. i could see both teams winning.
i fell asleep last night before the main event of Monday Night Raw. after checking YouTube, i didn't really miss much. the match between Cesaro and Cena last night was great. sadly, the wrong guy won.
i did wake up in time to watch The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. i enjoyed it. you could tell Jimmy was nervous as hell. this was really fucking funny:
and U2 doing their new song on the roof with that sunset was amazing. beyond picturesque. i was happy i woke up to watch it. it'll certainly get tricky for me when it is going up against Letterman. thankfully, Jimmy puts most of the damn show up on YouTube. that certainly helps.
the beauty or horror of the chili i make is 12 hours later and you are planted on the toilet. as my mother put it this morning, i guess both of us are cleaned the fuck out now. you're welcome for the visual.
i really don't know what i'm going to watch tonight. i'm getting the itch to do some writing. that may happen here soon. most likely after my next visit to the doctor on Thursday. i have spent most of the day listening to music. and watching Barcelona beat Manchester City in Champions League play. so much for Shitty's coach saying that they were the only club in Manchester. i always love when those fuckers get humbled.
that's all for me. i'll be on here tomorrow after all the hockey games. and hopefully sipping on a victory beer. i hope this finds everyone well.
peace and chicken grease.

that title is what happens when you spend a good portion of the day listening to The Flaming Lips. the mind relaxes into a state of consciousness that is out of this realm. either that or the smell of that chili i made for dinner tonight is piercing my brain cells.
let us begin with the Sunday night shows. True Detective went where i thought it was going to go after episode #2, and that opens up a ton of new directions the last few episodes could go. Shameless was brilliant once again. Girls was uncomfortably funny, especially with Lena Dunham in an ill-fitting bikini for nearly the entire episode. House of Lies had a few laugh out loud moments. Episodes was what it was.
i caught a few minutes of the NBA All-Star game. the final score didn't surprise me. i'm actually a little surprised one team didn't reach 200 points. that will happen in my lifetime the way the game is trending.
there are a few things i'm looking forward to tonight. Monday Night Raw is a given. the last one before the next ppv. that usually means it will be good. i'm just hoping it keeps me awake. and that is for the next thing i'm looking forward to... The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. if it is like i think it is going to be like, i really should enjoy it. plus, this will be the first time in my life the show will be based in New York City. i believe the last time it was there was 1972. plus, Jimmy has a ton of great guests the first week.
i did catch a little of the team USA women's hockey win today to send them to the gold medal game against Canada. that should be their usual war. hopefully the right team wins this time.
the rest of today was spent laying around, trying to relax knowing damn well yet another cold front will be moving through tonight. i know my body will be in agony when that happens. plus, we're supposed to get mostly freezing rain followed by snow. that will be a bitch to deal with.
no update on the pain front. it is still there but i do believe my mind is winning the war of ignoring it. of course, that doesn't mean it will go away. it simply allows me to live my life just a tad bit better. i go back to the doctor on Thursday. i should have enough pain pills to make it to then. should.
had to check on my chili. i usually turn it down after a good 7 hours. i'll let it bathe in those juices for another hour or so and then it will be time to add a little cheese and sour cream and enjoy. i don't believe we have any cornbread or i'd make that to go with it. don't get the impression that i actually like to cook. there's just a few things i do really well in the kitchen. and no, one of them is not toast.
i saw all but one of the cats today. not sure if the missing one was hiding or was trying to flee. i'm sure if it gets caught out in the ice storm, it will be on the way back rather quickly. i thought we almost had a bird commit suicide today. flew right into the bay window about as fast as i have seen any bird do it. it was in the snow for a little bit and then flew away. it probably heard me getting the shovel ready to take it to the cats.
that is all for yet another Monday in the snow in Ohio. hope everyone is well. enjoying life. or at least attempting to fool yourself into believing that you do. be well my friends. have yourself a bowl of chili.
peace.
