plenty of doom and gloom...

i don't think the sun has come out at all today. one of those kind of gloomy autumn days that reminds you death is around every fucking corner anymore. good times.

the New Orleans Saints lost yesterday at Houston, 20-13. yet another one of those games where you can look back and realize, they should have won. they play this Thursday at home against Jacksonville.

i did watch a few NFL games yesterday.

Big Brother was good last night.

Billions was excellent last night.

Power Book IV: Force was crazy last night.

Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT as usual.

Shining Vale was pretty funny last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice and Monday Night Raw.

i did listen to episode 469 of Notsam Wrestling today. you can hear that by going here:

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Arizona. hopefully, they will find a way to win.

i will probably watch a little of the Monday night football game between the Chargers and Cowboys.

i did make it to the bank today to deposit my check.

i should be on here tomorrow after i take mom to her physical therapy appointment.

i also have to go to Rite Aid tomorrow to pick up a prescription.

sorry, my mother just had a mental breakdown that came out of nowhere. have to take off my therapist hat now.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

until tomorrow kids...

when anger never leaves...

so, the Yankees were up 5-3 last night in Cleveland, in the bottom of the 9th. i figured Holmes would be coming on for the save. apparently, so did the players. when Aaron Boone brought in Schmidt instead, my first reaction was what the fuck. of course, the Yankees lost the game, 6-5. after the game, Boone said Holmes was only going to be used in case of emergency. apparently, having the bases loaded and holding on to a 5-4 lead isn't an emergency. Holmes after the game said he was good to go and told the coaches that before the game. so, one of them is lying and considering Boone can't coach himself out of a wet paper bag in the playoffs, i'm going to say he is. i'm so fucking sick and tired of how this team plays in the playoffs, i'm at the point where either Boone needs to go. or, maybe it is time to finally have a new GM for the first in a quarter century. or hell, how nice would it be if Hal Steinbrenner grew a set of balls and got rid of them both. i won't be watching Game 4 tonight, even if the Yankees are winning.

here are your highlights from the MLB playoffs yesterday:

so, when i saw the clock this morning, it was 6:30. i had been asleep for roughly 2 hours. i decided to sleep a little longer and then i would get going. that little longer became roughly 9:10 this morning. so much for getting the blog done before Manchester United played this morning.

Manchester United finished 0-0 against Newcastle today. United was fucking horrible in the final 3rd today. they had point blank chances they fucking missed. that's how you make a draw feel like a loss.

the Saints are playing at home today against the Bengals. it is currently 7-7.

Saturday Night Live was hilarious last night.

i did watch a little of the MLS playoffs yesterday. i will probably watch some today as well.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Last Week Tonight, Power Book III: Raising Kanan and Let The Right One In.

the baseball cards i got from Repacked Wax yesterday were very good. a good handful of the cards were from before i was born.

i think i'm going to fill out my absentee ballot today. i don't trust the postal service much anymore, so i'm going to fill it out and send it way before the deadline.

the Saints are currently up 20-14 at halftime.

here are some of the highlights from a crazy Saturday of college football:

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.

i should be on here in the morning/early afternoon tomorrow. unless i actually get up early enough to get my haircut and get a flu shot.

until then kids...

i believe i have found the definition of insanity...

so, i got up this morning really hoping Manchester United was going to play good today. when Mason Greenwood put them up 1-0, i was happy. when Leicester scored because of a Harry Maguire fuck up, i wasn't happy. soon, 1-1 became 2-1 for Leicester and i decided to remain calm. Marcus Rashford scored to make it 2-2. i figured now they can find the winner out there. well, one team certainly did. 15 fucking seconds after Rashford scored, Leicester scored again to make it 3-2. when they scored near the death to make it 4-2, i simply turned the fucking tv off. i went into my bathroom, started to shave and then took a shower. i'm hoping whatever fucking bad mojo that is clinging to me is off now. at least Paul Pogba said it best in the post game interviews, they deserved to lose today. i'm hoping they will play better on Wednesday in the Champions League, but i'm not insane. at least, not yet.

Smackdown and 205 Live were both pretty good last night.

AEW Rampage was fucking awesome last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be AEW Dynamite, Rhodes to The Top, Saturday Night Live, Austin City Limits and ROH.

since Ohio State is off this week, i will probably watch a few college football games this afternoon while doing my laundry.

the New York Rangers play tonight in Montreal. neither team has won this season, so i know that will change after tonight. hopefully, the Rangers will win.

i will most likely be on here in the morning tomorrow, before the NFL games start. the Saints are off tomorrow, so i might end up napping the day away. our absentee ballots came in the mail today, so i might fill mine out tomorrow and get that mailed back in on Monday.

i will need to hit the bank and the post office Monday anyway...

that's all for me kids. i hope everyone has a great Saturday.

the sun shines on a dog's ass every now and then...

and today was the day i realized i was the dog in this scenario.

i went to the bank and made a deposit. sadly, it was only one thing to deposit and not two. after that, i decided to go to the Big Lots near the bank and see if they had any baseball cards. now, i wasn't expecting much but as soon as i walked in the store, i noticed it looked completely different than the last time i was in there. and the only reason i went in there was one of the guys i follow on YouTube got some baseball cards at a Big Lots in Pennsylvania. so, i walked around a little while and HOLY SHIT!!!! i found more baseball cards than i had seen in the last 4 months. i got some 2018 Topps Series 2, some 2019 Topps Series 1, some 2020 Topps Heritage and then 3 football packs of 2020 Score, 2020 Donruss and 2020 Prestige. i ended up spending $62 for everything. with the cards i found in the packs (including Joe Burrow's rookie card!!!!!!) i believe they are worth something around $200 or so. i'm pretty fucking pleased with this.

after that, i went to Burger King to get mom her frozen Coke that she loves. i handed the guy $2 and he didn't have the change to give me back, so he just handed me $1 back. once again, the sun shines on a dog's ass every now and then...

i did write 3 poems this morning. i typed those up and really like them.

i didn't have lunch until 5 this evening. mom said that's nuts. i told her, i'm juggling 3 fucking jobs (her caretaker, poet/blogger, baseball card dealer). she paused and realized i was right. joy.

Big Brother was pretty good last night. Memphis got evicted. Enzo is the new HOH.

Desus & Mero was fucking hilarious last night.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown and Real Time with Bill Maher. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

and then it started to rain...

the New York Yankees lost yesterday to Houston, 4-1. they are now trailing in the ALCS 2-1. Game 4 tonight has already been postponed, so the Yankees are now up against it. that means there will be no off day on Friday. so, the Yankees need to get some innings from their starters or this series will be over quickly.

the USMNT lost to Canada last night, 2-0. it was the first time that Canada had beaten the USA in 34 years. fuck me, it was awful. no urgency, no desire, hell, Canada should have won by 4 or 5. fucking pathetic.

and to make my night even worse, it started to fucking rain like the end of the world was happening. thunder, lightning, wind howling like a motherfucker. good times.

i guess there is something going on between C5 and C6 in my neck. good thing i was telling the nurse this for weeks before she actually decided i should get some x-rays done. so, next month i see an orthopedic doctor to examine my neck. i guess that means the physical therapy i start next week is for my carpal tunnel in my right wrist.

The Voice was very good last night.

Total Divas was pretty funny last night.

The Jim Jefferies Show was fucking hilarious last night.

Mr. Mercedes was awesome last night.

Mayans M.C. was very good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NXT, AEW, The Masked Singer, American Horror Story, 24/7 College Football and Cake.

i went to the bank today to make a deposit. after that, mom wanted me to get her something at McDonald's. it was kind of weird. the lady running the cash register in the drive thru had the same name as the love of my life when i was 23. and then the lady, who maybe was in her early 20's at best, that handed me the food called me sweetie. i chuckled and wondered what fucking world am i living in.

my arthritis has been fucking with me all day long. it's quite the scene when i'm in the shower and my body starts to radiate from the pain. i know one thing, my death isn't going to be pretty.

i'm going to try to be on here earlier tomorrow, but i truly have no clue when i will be on here. i get the feeling i'll be doing something for mom tomorrow. who knows, just trying to stay in the will.

hope everyone is doing good. until tomorrow kids...

a million things to do with no time to think

this is one of those days where i have a million fucking things to do and not nearly enough time to get all this shit done. thankfully, mom's eye surgery went well. she was right when she said it would take longer to get set up than the actual process. she was a little nervous, but thankfully she should be less nervous next week when she has the left eye done. i wrote 7 poems while i was there. i typed those up this afternoon. i think they are pretty good. that gives me 16 poems for the month.

The Voice was very good last night. i'm so happy they have started the Battle Rounds.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, The Jim Jefferies Show, Mayans M.C. and The Voice.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Colorado. i will probably watch some of the game.

the USA Men's National Team plays a soccer friendly tonight against Peru. i will probably watch some of that as well.

on top of all that, i have to vacuum the house and round up all the trash and get that down to the curb, here and next door.

on top of all that, i had to run out to the local grocery store to get some chicken gravy because mom forgot to put it on the list and then forgot to tell me to get it over the weekend. joy.

so yeah, i'm a little busy. all part of actually living i suppose.

i have no damn clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. it will most likely be after the WWE airs NXT UK on WWE Network. wrestling at 3 in the afternoon on a Wednesday. sure, why not.

that's all for me kids. until tomorrow...

one of those games you'll remember forever

i can't count the number of football games i have watched in my lifetime. i suppose between college and pro, i have seen easily thousands of games. the game yesterday between New Orleans and Detroit was one of the craziest fucking games i have ever seen in my life. the Saints started on fire and the defense was playing great as well. when the Saints got up 45-10, it was like i was living a fucking dream. sadly, human nature took over and the Saints took their foot off the neck. so the Lions then scored the next 28 points. now the score was 45-38. i'm in my room cussing loud enough that the next city could probably hear it, wondering how the fuck the Saints were going to fucking blow a 35 fucking point lead. thankfully, the Saints defense scored again (their 3rd touchdown in the game) to seal the victory, 52-38. 4 damn hours of one of the craziest NFL games i can ever remember. the Saints are now 3-2, the first time they have been over .500 in 4 or 5 seasons. they next play at Green Bay. that game suddenly became winnable now that Aaron Rodgers is injured.

i sent out 9 poems today. 5 to The Homestead Review and 4 to HST Quarterly. when i hear back from these places i will pass along the verdicts.

Last Week Tonight was fucking hilarious last night.

Ray Donovan was really good last night.

The Deuce was excellent last night.

Vice Principals was good last night.

Curb Your Enthusiasm was very funny last night.

i really wanted to like White Famous last night. i watched the first two episodes and while there were a few laughs, that was 60 minutes of my life i'll never get back. it simply wasn't funny enough for my Sunday night rotation.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice and The Big Bang Theory. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

the New York Yankees play Game 3 of the ALCS tonight at home against Houston. this is basically a MUST WIN game for the Yankees. they haven't lost at home yet in the postseason, so i really hope that continues tonight.

i made a little trip to the bank today. i don't think the woman that flirted with me works there anymore. there's the story of my life.

i will be on here tomorrow before the Yankees play in the afternoon. i'm really hoping that will be a game where the Yankees can tie the series.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

thankfully, alcohol still works

my back was killing me for most of yesterday. but, it's amazing what one big stiff drink can do to cure the pain. thankfully, Ohio State came through for me last night to make it all possible.

Ohio State played like shit for most of last night. thankfully, they played like the team i know they can be in the second half. they came from behind to beat a very good Wisconsin team 30-23 in OT.

the New York Rangers ran into a goalie standing on his head last night. they absolutely dominated St. Louis, especially in the 3rd period, but lost 3-2. a little puck luck and they win that game going away. they next play at home on Monday night.

ROH was excellent last night.

Saturday Night Live was fucking hilarious last night.

Austin City Limits was very good as well.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Strain, Westworld, Divorce, Insecure, Shameless, Masters of Sex and Last Week Tonight.

the New Orleans Saints play at home today against Carolina. i'm really hoping the Saints used their bye week to put together a great game plan for today.

i will probably be on here tomorrow before Manchester United plays at Liverpool. i fear what evil i may spew if i do the blog after the game, good or bad.

here comes a hard freeze

i just got in from taking down the hummingbird feeders as the "experts" have us under a freeze warning for tonight into tomorrow morning. i figure something is coming as my back has been tight all day long. good times.

mom decided she could drive herself to the doctor's office today. given all the other places she had to go, it's probably best i didn't come along. hopefully the x-rays on her wrist come back good.

the New York Rangers lost last night to Montreal 3-0. both goalies put on a show last night. sometime in my lifetime, i truly wish that the Rangers will fix their fucking power play. it has been bad for as long as i can remember. needless to say, i watched more football last night than hockey.

the New Orleans Saints defeated Atlanta 31-21 to give the Falcons their first loss of the season. that was fun to watch. plus, my fantasy running back from Atlanta got me plenty of garbage points so i was twice as happy.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Undateable, NJPW and one of my favorite shows from last season, The Knick.

i figure i will watch some of the hockey game i was supposed to go to tonight. i can't imagine what my sister will be like with two kids there with her.

i'm going to be lazy and just do a video today for Flashback Friday. that being said, it's a favorite of mine:

i hope everyone has a great weekend. i will be on here tomorrow after the Manchester United game against Everton. i have no clue if i will be in a good mood or not.

testing every ounce of my patience...

here's a little slice of the last 18 hours of my life... i was up late last night doing some poetry work. i came up with 31 poems to send out. now, only 20 are going to get sent out here soon. decided to do a little future planning with some poems that will get sent out in 2015. basically, i wanted to thin out the unpublished file a little more. i will hopefully send the 20 poems out next week sometime. the reason i say hopefully will be revealed here in a bit. i got into bed around 3 in the morning. right as i was falling asleep, the muse calls around 4 am. she's crying and upset. i've lived long enough to know it is best to just shut up and listen. she gets it all out (more guy troubles) and she eventually has me pray for her. that was interesting to say the least. and just as i think i'm going to fall back asleep, the muse calls back two more times. so, now i'm up as i don't want the phone to wake up my mother. sure enough, the muse doesn't call back again. figures. so, i get maybe 2 hours of sleep total and get on the computer. and sure enough, it has a virus. just my fucking luck. so, from roughly 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, Frontier Communications took their sweet ass time getting rid of the virus. if i could ever help anyone bankrupt that company and watch every incompetent fucker they employ die a slow death, i'll be the first asshole in line.

the cats weren't exactly happy that i was feeding them nearly 3 hours later than usual. i was pretty sure one of them would try to take a shit on me, but i was wrong. i did give them a little extra, just in case one of those fuckers were thinking about revenge.

needless to say i've spent the last 3 hours trying to catch up on everything. i finally achieved that in time to try to write this before the hockey game comes on tonight. good times.

American Horror Story: Freak Show was excellent last night. i really enjoyed this episode much more than the first one this season. i'm really looking forward to the episode next week.

the New York Rangers play Carolina tonight. this is about as close to a MUST win game as you can have in October. hopefully the defense plays much better tonight. and i would like to have a victory beer tonight as well.

i will be paying a bit of attention to the football game tonight as i have a running back for New England. hopefully that will start my fantasy football week off on the right foot.

i'll be in Columbus tomorrow night for another hockey game. it will be the last one for us for a little while. i believe my sister is trying to figure out where we'll be having dinner after the game. that should be interesting for me as i won't be drinking. i have night driving duties for my mother.

so, i'm planning on being on here earlier tomorrow. maybe late morning or so. of course, that all depends on what madness happens to me tonight. i'm hoping for a quiet one.

that's all for me. i need to get going. i've got to get my rosters checked and it seems like my email fills up constantly now. how i wish it was people wanting to give me money.

thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

the joy of afternoon naps

hello again kids. here are your daily links for national poetry month:

http://www.nybooks.com/blogs/nyrblog/2014/apr/23/great-poets-brawl-68/
http://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/books/a-poets-glossary-by-edward-hirsch/2014/04/22/49b1cb56-c966-11e3-95f7-7ecdde72d2ea_story.html
http://www.edweek.org/tm/articles/2014/04/21/fp-raschka-poetry-books-teacher-lament.html

amazingly, i made it through last night without going completely insane. i was able to watch just about everything i wanted to last night. sadly, the sitcoms after The Voice had to be sacrificed last night. i need a damn DVR. anywho, here's my thoughts:

The Voice - was a little shocked at the final 3 as i thought Tess should have already been saved. thankfully, she did make it to the final 10.

Deadliest Catch - this looks like a really great season to watch. didn't even think how the government shutdown would affect them. should be a crazy, intense ride.

the New York Yankees beat the shit out of the Red Sox last night 9-3. i'm convinced that Tanaka is the second coming of (name your favorite pitcher of all time here). hopefully they can keep it rolling tonight.

the New York Rangers played a complete, solid game last night and won 4-1. i love that they are frustrating the Flyers to the point where they are making stupid guarantees now for game 4. LOVE it. can't wait to watch them lose again. game 4 is on Friday.

tonight will be a little baseball, some playoff hockey, hopefully sneak in Legit and Ali G. and then some late night tv.

i watched The Tonight Show last night and was pleasantly thrilled with Rita Ora. not my type of music per se, but DAMN, i do believe i have found my new dream woman. that should spice up my nights and hopefully get me out of the high school remembrances of nightmares.

that's all for me kids. be well. be creative. be the change that the fucker down the street refuses to believe in. and then shit that change out on his front porch.

the last 18 hours or so...

i woke up this morning to some potentially great news from my Swedish artist friend, Janne Karlsson. we may have a publisher for our collaboration. and a very good one at that. i spent a good portion of this afternoon emailing the poems off. while i'm not quite ready to start popping champagne, i do have a pretty good feeling about this. when i get some more details i'll pass them along.

so, i was watching the USA vs. Panama match last night when Panama took the lead late. i didn't really react or get pissed off much. my mother asked why and i explained to her if the USA lost that would snuff out any chance of Mexico making the World Cup. she wasn't understanding it so i explained it like this. the Yankees lose a game to Tampa and it keeps the Red Sox from making the playoffs. she finally understood what i was saying and within seconds the USA scores to tie the game. and then about a minute later the USA scores again to win the game. that was one of the weirdest victory beers i have had in years. below are the highlights:

The Voice last night was pretty good. the talent this year is really good. of course, none of my "potential winners" have gone yet in the battle rounds.

tonight the New York Rangers play in Washington. hopefully, a game against the Eastern Conference brings them back to life. or, it could very well be another ass whipping. and if the rumors are true, more changes will be on the way. this team could be a team of rookies before too long.

Duck Dynasty and American Horror Story are on tonight as well. i'm home alone for the evening as my mother is at a conference. all that really means is i can take a shower at 2 in the morning and not worry about waking anyone up.

i got all my waiver wire moves in fantasy football, which shocked the shit out of me. these next 2 weeks are huge as i have a ton of players on bye weeks. if i can survive this and still win, i'll be in really good shape.

that's all for today. hope this finds everyone well and feeling good. or inebriated.

feeling miserable on a Tuesday

i'm not sure if there is a fresher form of hell than feeling like shit when it starts getting hot outside. pure fucking misery. not exactly sure what's going on with my stomach/body, but i imagine if it keeps up for a few more days, my stubborn ass will call a doctor. i guess.

the Yankees forgot to have their offense show up last night. on top of that the bullpen had a rare shitty night. that all adds up to a 2-1 loss to the lowly Mets. fucking irritating as hell. the Mets have their young phenom going tonight. i'm not sure what to expect. the Yankees could make him look mortal or just lay down in the fetal position like last night again. i'm not looking forward to it.

i did manage a few views of The Voice last night. i have no clue who is going home this evening. honestly, it's a popularity contest from now on. the talent is pretty much even.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good. i'm very pleased that the young talent is getting pushed and brought up. The Wyatt Family will make for interesting television if creative stays out of the way. i downloaded the WWE app on my mother's tablet last night (i'm sure she's going to love that). it made for an interesting experience, especially given my shitty internet.

looks like the Western Conference in the NHL is coming down to two game sevens. game 7 in the playoffs become must see TV. tonight is the Kings vs. Sharks and tomorrow is Red Wings vs. Blackhawks. should make for 2 great games seeing that both teams HATE each other.

i'll try to squeeze a little playoff basketball in this evening. hopefully, Miami is blowing them out again so i won't have to bother.

i will be paying plenty of attention to Deadliest Catch tonight. judging from the previews, my thoughts on this being one of the best shows on television will only get stronger tonight.

did a little shopping on amazon.com today. got my usual strange ass hodgepodge of music. a little blues, a little techno, a little metal, and a little alternative. hopefully enough of a mix to get the creative juices flowing at a much brisker pace.

that's pretty much it for today. i would say i hope i feel better tomorrow, but i stopped believing in miracles long before now.

all things must pass

as i said here a few days ago, my writing session last night was either going to be one of glee or anger. and despite a win from Manchester United earlier in the day, although they played the last 45 minutes holding on for dear life, the Dayton Flyers brought me the anger i was expecting. sort of.

not winning at Xavier is nothing new, fuck, they haven't done it since 1981. but to be out-rebounded like a bunch of pussies was really hard to watch. 1 damn rebound here and there and they win the game easily. i did appreciate the coach saying after the game that the basketball gods don't reward teams that don't deserve to win. no shit.

so, my writing session was 7 poems long. a few winners i think. i typed them up this afternoon while watching the snow come down outside. i know 1 of the poems will go to Jeremy Benson for the poetry e-book project he is putting together. you can find out more about the project by going here:
http://blog.jeremy-benson.com/2013/01/enter-your-poem-free-e-book-for-all.html

and now allow me to address the comments left on this blog by my "best friend" Debbie Kirk, the queen of wannabe tough women. and trust me, that last comment has her pissed off already. not sure why she wanted to air the dirty laundry in public, but that was her choice. i only feel it is right that my retort is public as well. let me peel back the onion a bit so you know how all this bullshit started. Debbie didn't like my first YouTube video. it is completely her right not to like it. she gave me some criticism on it, which i took, but apparently not in the way she wanted. i assume that was by agreeing immediately and kissing her ass. when i posted my next videos, she ate a bit of crow and said they were improvements from the first one. now, over a week later, last night she brings it up again. her big problem is that some people actually like the first video and they shouldn't. apparently personal preference is not allowed in the world of Debbie Kirk. i can't give 2 shits either way in this. i'm simply thrilled that people have taken the time to watch them at all. so, long story short i told Debbie enough was enough, which of course was met with you never tell me to stop talking, blah blah blah. which i replied with i will tell you whatever the fuck i want just like you do me. if you can't show me the same respect i show you, who has the problem? she typed back i have the problem and i told her to fuck off.

little did i know that she didn't have the balls to call me on the phone but instead chose to blast me in a public setting. now, i think i must set the record straight and get the FACTS out there.

if anyone needs to know anything about me, all you ever have to do is ask. but since i am hiding behind some fake image, allow me put it all out there. i'm 350 lbs. i'm 37. i live with my mother on 80 acres in Ohio. i haven't had a girlfriend in 10 years. i haven't had sex in 2 years. i have had sex with 11 partners in my life, all female by the way. as for my poetry being about situations i have never been in, i believe some people call that IMAGINATION. but, let's be honest. most of my poems are about masturbation, porn, taking a shit, wanting to kill myself, life on the farm, the drive into town for the mail, etc. etc. i fucking wish all of that was some imagined bullshit. my life would be perfect. do i write like i'm a badass, sure. anyone that "really" knows me knows the joke. also, anyone that "really" knows me, knows all the personal shit already. you know, like the poems i wrote about being molested in my grandmother's house by a female cousin when i was a kid or how i nearly died 5 years ago from blood clots in my left leg and both lungs. or, are those all imagined bullshit as well?

and now from her comments this morning... you do realize that the photo shoot with Anna was over 10 years ago right? why the fuck are you bringing it up now? and why are you taking it upon yourself to tell me things that she never told me? i need to know shit from 10 years ago? as for your husband, if he has something to say to me, allow him to say it. he has my email and my number, i'd be more than willing to have a conversation. as for talking down to you. guess what? it's a two way street. the day you stop talking down to me i'll do the same. as for questioning my Christianity...that's a good one. am i perfect? far from it. do i have a high opinion of myself? at times, but honestly, it's called a healthy ego. try it sometime. and i take pride in being an asshole? guess what, you do the same shit. and not once have i ever questioned your faith in anything. never will as that's not my job to do so.

to think i have spent nearly 15 years listening to all your problems, all your family bullshit, all your downs, all your highs, you telling me the same fucking story for the 5th time in a week because you can't remember if you told me at all and just letting you go on, letting you get it all off your chest, and this is how you choose to repay that friendship. guess what Debbie? i want the best for you. i want you to be happy, to have a great life and find the peace you deserve. i want you to enjoy your marriage and all the fruit life brings you. but since i'm such a fucking drag on your existence, i will remove myself from the equation.

i'll leave it up to you if you want some fake fuck like me to continue to edit your book. if not, that's cool. if so, that's cool as well. i don't dick over people, like some people i know.

thank you for making me a better person. and i thank you for blowing this friendship up in a spectacular fashion. i can't wait to write these poems. of course, they will all be fake and not any good. the funniest thing you typed was how none of this was to be mean. perhaps you should have tried a less public option for me to believe that bullshit. and if you honestly believe that my meanness is an act, ask my family. you happen to have the gift of catching me at the wrong time more often than not and 2 strong willed creatures can't exist without friction. none of it is good for either of us. and i will not be your excuse for not getting better.

and lastly, something i have never shared with anyone. but since we're airing dirty laundry, when in rome... the real reason i think all this shit with the YouTube video has lasted is your fear that if any of your cool friends thought my video was stupid, and you being my friend and all, they would think you would be stupid as well. and god forbid, you can't have anyone on this planet thinking a negative thought about Debbie Kirk. maybe i'm wrong, or maybe that's much closer to the TRUTH than even you want to realize.

i hope everyone enjoyed a nice behind the scenes look on much of my life for so damn long. guess i'll see what this freedom thing is like now. hope everyone is good. look forward to seeing the insanity Debbie writes in response. hopefully she knows i'm childish enough to drag this out for as long as she wants to. does that make me a bad person? yes, i know it does. i just enjoy the consequences of such things.

and to think all i really wanted when i sent you the link to my first YouTube video was for you to be happy that i was taking a chance and doing something completely out of left field for me. but, i guess in hindsight, that was simply too much to ask for.

amid oncoming storms

you know, it never fails. whenever i want something to happen, all i need to do is start doing something else and then... case in point. back oh so many years ago, when i had a girlfriend, if i wanted her to call all i had to do was go take a shit or a shower and sure enough the phone would ring. back to today.

i was watching Manchester United this morning and the game was boring as hell. so, i decided to go into to town before it got really hot, get the mail, maybe a little breakfast and come back. as i was driving down my bumpy ass lane to the road, i laughed and said to myself, you know when you get home Man U will be winning 1-0. and sure enough, i get back and they are up 1-0, 5 minutes left in the match. nice goal from Kagawa by the way. i'm reserving judgement on the team until i see all the pieces in place.

a big fucking thank you to Jayson Nix for his bases loaded double to help the Yankees pull out a win in Seattle, 5-2. my constant bitching and moaning but the inability to do the small, fundamental shit was answered by that double in the gap. win the series and come back home to face the Red Sox. hopefully whipping their asses will get the stench of a horrible road trip out of sight for a while.

had my first taste of the Cherry Wheat beer from Sam Adams this evening. Holy Shit that was good.

had a good laugh watching Chelsea lose to the MLS All-Stars 3-2. i believe the last 2 times Manchester United played in that game Man U won by a combined 10-0. i will sleep with a smile on my face this evening.

if you don't see a post from me tomorrow, chances are the storms they say are coming has knocked out the power. or, i'm too busy masturbating. or writing, whatever you choose to call what i do.
