the weather today was fucking perfect. so perfect, i opened some windows and took a long fucking nap. of course, i was running on 3 hours of sleep, so i really needed it.
the New Orleans Saints lost to Atlanta yesterday, 27-25. between all the dropped passes and mistakes the Saints made, i was fucking pissed for nearly the whole game. they made a huge comeback in the 4th quarter, but of course, pissed that away as well. as Duece said after the game, the Saints beat themselves.
here are your NBA highlights from last night:
i did watch some of the MLS games yesterday as well:
Axios was good last night.
Succession was excellent last night.
Insecure reminded me why i never wanted kids last night.
Curb Your Enthusiasm was very funny last night.
Last Week Tonight was brilliant as usual.
Hightown was good last night.
Dexter: New Blood was very good last night.
the season finale of American Rust was fucking great last night. i really hope they make season 2. i need answers.
Desus & Mero was fucking hilarious last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be The Voice and Monday Night Raw.
the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Florida. i'd love to see the Rangers end their losing streak tonight.
i did listen to episode 368 of Notsam Wrestling this morning. you can find that by going here:
i did take mom to get her booster shot today. that went pretty smoothly. and then like a child, she wanted the new milkshake at Arby's afterwards. she got a large Caramel Cinnamon shake and i'm pretty sure that made her happy.
i have to take her to the podiatrist tomorrow afternoon.
i'm going to try to have the blog done in the morning tomorrow as i have a college basketball game to go to tomorrow night.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.
until tomorrow kids...

there's nothing quite like waking up to phantom pains in your left leg. i suppose i was dreaming of the cramp that partially tore my calf muscle and woke up feeling the pain. as soon as i stood up, the pain went away. the joy of being fucking crazy.
i want to get this blog done, feed the birds and take mom to the store before the Champions League final starts this afternoon. so, here we go...
the New York Yankees won last night 2-1 over the Angels. Gleyber Torres became the youngest Yankee ever to homer in 4 straight games. he drove in both runs last night. Aaron Judge threw 2 runners out last night. hopefully, the Yankees will win again tonight.
NJPW was very good last night.
Major League Wrestling was good last night.
Mauro Ranallo: Bipolar Rock & Roller was great last night. it was one of the best documentaries to show the effects of mental illness i have ever seen.
Wyatt Cenac's Problem Areas was very good last night.
here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs last night:
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be ROH, Patrick Melrose and The Tale.
i will probably watch some of the NBA playoffs tonight as well.
the Champions League final today is between Real Madrid and Liverpool. if there ever was a day i need CR7 to be magical, today is the day.
that's all for me today kids. i'll probably be on here tomorrow morning. i hope everyone has a great Saturday.

it's hard for me to even imagine the New York Yankees are 1 win away from going to the World Series. before i get deep into that, a couple of things first...
mom had her appointment this morning cancelled. she's on an antibiotic for an ear infection and the doctor didn't want to give her steroids while on that. at least they called before i made the drive down there.
i heard back from Larissa at Rose Red Review on my poetry submission from back in July. she thanked me for the submission but informed she has decided to close Rose Red Review. so, that's 6 more poems back in circulation now.
the Yankees got some great pitching yesterday and finally solved their nemesis to defeat Houston 5-0 to go up 3 -2 in the ALCS. i loved that the Houston players admitted after the game that the Yankee Stadium crowd got to them in the 3 games. the Yankees will go to the World Series if they win Game 6 in Houston on Friday night. this will probably be the most jacked i have been for a baseball game since 2009.
Manchester United won 1-0 yesterday against Benfica in the Champions League. that pretty much guarantees that United will make it out of the group stage. the game was truly fucking boring and if it wasn't for Benfica's goalkeeper making a huge mistake, i doubt there would have been a goal scored in the game. the injuries that United have at the moment are truly catching up with them.
NXT was excellent last night.
Lucha Underground was fucking spectacular last night. i hope to hell there's a season 4 coming soon.
Total Bellas was pretty good last night. that season finale will be next week.
You're the Worst was excellent last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Chris Gethard Show, Better Things, Gotham, Will & Grace and Fuck, That's Delicious Classics.
i haven't really got into the NBA season starting yet. i think i might actually give a shit about it once Christmas rolls around.
the New York Rangers play tonight at home against the fucking Islanders. if the Rangers lose this game, i'm really hoping the GM knows it's time for a fucking change. be it players or the coaches, do fucking something before the whole damn season is lost.
i think i'm going to be a true asshole and make a trip to the grocery store now. i love going once in a while where i'm around people who just got off of work. i fully come across with that i've been retired since i was 26 look. it's fun at times.
i have to go today because if i go tomorrow and the Yankees lose Game 6, then it's my fault. hello, my name is fucked in the head. pleased to meet you.
that's all for me today kids.

just saw the weather forecast and the "experts" are saying we might get some snow flurries on the weekend. good times.
thankfully, i didn't watch much of the USA vs. Costa Rica game last night. Costa Rica won easily, 4-0. from what little i did see, which included Costa Rica scoring twice, the USA absolutely looked like they quit on their manager. if that is so, even if it is only perception, a change is needed. they aren't in a horrific spot in qualifying, but they also can't afford any more losses. if they are going to make a coaching change, the sooner the better.
the New York Rangers won last night over Vancouver 7-2. it was the second time in team history they have swept the Western Canada trip. they play again on Friday at Columbus.
i wasn't really surprised with the results on The Voice last night. voting in this country has simply gone to shit.
Scream Queens was fucking hilarious last night. i'm so happy that show is back.
David Blaine: Beyond Magic last night was great. i truly enjoy a good mind fuck every now and then.
Smackdown was excellent last night. it was good seeing Edge and The Undertaker again last night. i am really looking forward to Survivor Series on Sunday.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, the season finales of American Horror Story and You're The Worst, Lip Sync Battle, Total Divas and Lucha Underground. i'll watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.
i'm probably going to go to the grocery store in the morning tomorrow. we're supposed to have this massive cold front move through and bring some winds along with it. 25-40 m.p.h. so, i figure i should get it done before that shit really hits. plus, i have my medicine to pick up.
so, the plan is to send some poems out tomorrow as i'm doing my laundry. at some point during that chaos, i'll be back on here.

so my sister got our father's medical records yesterday. i copied them to my computer and started reading through a few of the nearly 2,000 pages. let me just say, the poems will be writing themselves for the rest of my life. a treasure trove of information. plus, it reaffirmed my thoughts on the funeral. it was all a joke. people were telling me what they thought i wanted to hear. the files showed me the truth. he was the same prick at death that he was 25 fucking years earlier. that's a much different picture than they painted at the funeral. he never was a saint. never fucking close to it. and the parts of when dementia was setting in were the best. i know i am an asshole for taking delight in the misery of others. but i now can look back on washing my father's feet in church one evening with much less horror now knowing that one day that fucker would believe there was a secret worm inside of him making him shit his pants.
mom decided she wanted her birthday dinner at Outback Steakhouse. i hadn't been there in years. i got steak tacos as i decided i wanted to be different. they were excellent. overall, it was a pretty good dinner. we got there right before they got full of people, so that was good. after dinner, we went to Menards. i needed bird food and a new lamp for my desk. my sister got some things she needed and mom found a few things as well. everything had a 11% rebate on it, so that's good. after that, we went to get some gas for the car. mom and my sister are out driving the state today, sort of. down to IKEA to get some beds. and then to Columbus to drop them off and then back to the house. when my mother left this morning, i told her i'll see you at 6 tonight. that would be 9 hours after she left with my sister. sadly, she knew i was probably correct.
Copa America Update:
Colombia defeated Peru last night on penalty kicks. i felt bad for Peru, but ultimately the better team won. tonight Argentina takes on Venezuela and Chile takes on Mexico. should be two really good games.
Euro 2016 Update:
Spain took care of Turkey yesterday, 3-0. i got up this morning to see Belgium play Ireland. Belgium finally woke up and started playing like a good team. they won 3-0. Iceland is currently leading Hungary 1-0 at halftime. later today Portugal takes on Austria.
the New York Yankees won again last night, 8-2. two in a row, stop the presses. they will try to get back to .500 again by winning this afternoon.
NJPW was excellent last night. 2 hours of great wrestling.
VICE was enthralling last night. to have a reporter with ALS do a story on others with ALS, even some getting into the clinical trials she didn't get into, was amazing. i highly recommend the episode.
Dateline: On Assignment was good last night. i'm happy that David Letterman still has the same sense of humor.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be ROH.
i may go outside and get a little sun while feeding the birds. but, i won't be out there for long. it's fucking hot this weekend. of course, The Air Show is happening, so that's how the weather usually is no matter when they have the show.
that's all for me kids. i hope you have a great Saturday. only fuck the ones that cough.

as you might imagine, i'm not a big fan of Black Friday
i managed to get 95% of my Christmas shopping done yesterday. i got 12 items on Amazon and with all my gift codes, it cost me around $30. other than a few things here and there, i'm all done. that's the way it should always be done. of course, i don't really care for shopping or people, so perhaps i'm a bit biased.
my Thanksgiving was okay. i didn't eat nearly as bad as i usually do. of course, when my mother told me she was going to bring me a plate from next door, i figured it would be turkey, stuffing, potatoes, etc... instead it was 3 different desserts. so much for hoping your son doesn't get diabetes like everyone else in the family. it wasn't until 8 at night that i had some turkey and the fixings. i often wonder what i did in a previous life that i am in this family.
my fantasy football teams did pretty well yesterday. i picked 2 of the 3 games correctly. i still can't believe Chicago won last night in Green Bay.
the Dayton Flyers had the lead for most of the game yesterday against Iowa. but, being a life long Dayton fan, i know how quickly those leads get pissed away at times. sure enough, Iowa was ahead late. thankfully, Dayton caught a second wind and stormed back to win 82-77. they will play Monmouth tonight as they upset Notre Dame last night. if Dayton can win tonight it will most likely set up a final against their hated rival Xavier. that would come on Sunday.
for some reason Life in Pieces didn't record last night. i found it online and watched it this morning. pretty funny as usual.
my sister and i were hoping to go see the new James Bond movie while she was down here this holiday. she won some free tickets to the movie. unfortunately, her work (she's on call) has fucked her over and my sports teams are playing at times that don't exactly fit her schedule. so, that's not going to happen. of course, i wasn't real sure i wanted to sit for 2 1/2 hours for a movie i probably won't like.
enjoy some music kids:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be The Knick (hopefully).
the New York Rangers play this afternoon in Boston. hopefully they can get back to winning.
i will probably be on here in the morning tomorrow with a quick blog. my afternoon is crazy as Ohio State, New York Rangers and Manchester United will all be on at the same time tomorrow. i figure i'll be in my room as i will surely be going fucking crazy.
i hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. if you are going out shopping today, pick me up something nice. it doesn't have to be expensive. feel free to check out my Amazon.com Wish List for ideas. you can find a link to it on the right hand side of this blog.
until tomorrow you crazy kids. it's going to be raining all day here. so i figure i'll be in misery for most of the day.

my mother told me this morning that she had heard that they were sending my uncle home today from the hospital. she was pretty surprised as they still don't know what the fuck he really has. i told her i'd be willing to bet that they have reached the limit his insurance will pay for and they are sending him home instead of not getting paid to have him there. and it's now after 4 and he's still not home. mom went to the hospital about 30 minutes or so ago. i'm sure she'll come home bitching about something the dumb fucks at the hospital did. good times.
if you weren't a fan of either Manchester club yesterday, the Manchester derby was fucking boring as hell. as an avid supporter of Manchester United, it was fucking painful to watch. a 0-0 draw when a victory would have put United at the top of the league was brutal to watch. there was probably only a couple instances that i thought United might actually score. the most action was watching Wayne Rooney get staples in his head to stop some bleeding. they next play Middlesbrough in a couple of days in League Cup play.
the New York Rangers started off slow last night but once they got rolling, they were a snowball racing downhill. the first goal was a beauty:
and after that, the goals kept coming for a 4-1 win. that's a good way to get the shitty taste from Philly out of your mouth. they are off until Friday. here are the game highlights:
the New Orleans Saints built a 27-0 lead yesterday. i then watched them try to piss that lead away. thankfully, they did just enough to win, 27-21. at least that gets them out of last place in the division.
i am leading in all 3 of my fantasy football matchups. all of my opponents have players going tonight, as do i. my picks were finally really good. if Arizona wins tonight, i'll go 11-3 for this week. that's more like it.
wrestling last night was probably as good as i could have hoped for. i was stunned at the beginning of the show:
i was thrilled with how easy Alberto beat John Cena. now, i'm really hoping the rumors are true and Cena is taking a few months off. both Hell in a Cell matches were excellent. i enjoyed Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt and thought it really did a good job of showing the potential that Roman really has:
the match between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker felt like it was from an era sadly gone forever. blood everywhere, low blows, the ring ripped apart, tables and chairs, it was a fucking great way to end a long feud:
and it wouldn't be the WWE without the best thing going today, The New Day:
after Hell in a Cell they showed the first episode to Breaking Ground. i am definitely going to be a fan of this show. i love all the behind the scenes shit i can see.
Homeland was great last night. it had another holy shit ending that just added another level of mindfuck to this season. The Affair was excellent as always. i really appreciate the subtle differences in the storytelling. and next week certainly looks like it's going to be really good.
ok kids, enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
clusterfuck Monday brings us the crowded as hell DVR. on that tonight will be The Voice, The Big Bang Theory and Gotham. i will be flipping between Monday Night Raw and Monday Night Football.
i typed up the 4 poems i have written in the last few days. let me just say that fat fingers and a small keyboard don't go together really well. it was also my first interaction with a new version of Microsoft Word. not exactly the easiest thing to navigate without a mouse. it's also really weird to not have a printer right next to me. not sure how long this computer in the kitchen is going to last. as for the poems, 2 were pretty sad and 2 had some funny ass lines. not sure where i'm going to send them, but i do want to send out some poems this week.
that's all for me today. i have dishes to put away and i need to vacuum. i hope everyone had a great weekend. if not, figure out who to blame and take it out on them.

the beauty of being a passionate sports fan is that on some special nights, you get to be a fucking fool. last night was one of those nights.
the New York Rangers were in a do or die situation. they had to win. so, when Washington scored in the 3rd period to go up 1-0, that certain feeling of doom was in the air. thankfully, the boys decided they weren't finished:
that sent the game to overtime. the Rangers had won 8 straight elimination games at MSG. let's make it 9:
yet another one goal game for the Rangers. but, they are still alive. game 6 will be on Sunday night in Washington. here are some highlights:
the victory beers were sweet after that one. it also helped that the New York Yankees held on to win last night 5-4. they have found a recipe that works but is fool's gold. get an early lead and let the excellent bullpen finish the game out. they are working that excellent bullpen to death. hopefully they can get another win this afternoon.
here's a little late night music:
after i get in a little breakfast, it will be time to watch Manchester United take on Crystal Palace. United desperately needs to win this game if they want to finish in the top 4.
other than the Yankees game this afternoon, i'm sure there will be some playoff basketball i'll watch. on top of that, i know Saturday Night Live is new tonight as is ROH.
i did catch the latest episode of VICE last night. easily, the best news program on television.
here's another song to send you on your way. go enjoy the weekend:

so i slept a little better last night. i got almost 5 hours, which for me is like a normal person getting close to 8 hours. i did feel a little refreshed when i woke up this morning and i knew it was more than just the shower i took last night.
it rained all damn night. thankfully, none of it was frozen. my body is telling me it's going to rain most of the day. this will be fun.
the Dayton Flyers open up A10 play today at home against Duquesne. it's a game Dayton should win easily, but nothing comes easy for any damn team i root for. the game is on national television, airing on NBCSN. hopefully i'll be drinking a victory beer later today.
i caught up on some podcasts last night, notably Talk is Jericho and The Art of Wrestling. i finally took the time to actually start subscribing on iTunes to the podcasts i listen to all the time via rss. i also started deleting shit from my library on my computer. nothing like getting rid of shit you don't use anymore.
after the game, we're coming back home because the NFL playoffs start today. that will start off a crazy day for me on tv. after the two NFL playoff games and the New York Rangers game, i'm planning on watching the new episode of ROH. i believe it's all highlights from 2014. now, if i'm somehow still awake (i'm hoping to nap during the football games) i'm hoping to watch the NJPW ppv (Wrestle Kingdom 9). it starts at 2 in the morning here. i'm trying to force myself to stay up because this is basically the Japanese Wrestlemania. and all the matches look like they are going to be fucking awesome. and with it being the first time on American television... you get the point why i want to stay up. now, here's the kicker. the show will get over around 6 in the morning. at 10 in the morning, Manchester United will be playing. do i stay up, take a nap, say fuck it to everything and just sleep for 10 hours... decisions, decisions. seeing that the ppv is $45, if i'm getting it, i'm staying up to watch it.
i fed the cats this morning. i think they were a little surprised to see me that early. no dead ones, as of yet. i saw that in the middle of next week the lows are supposed to be below zero. that's when i'll truly be on alert for dead cats.
that's all for me today. i have to get ready to leave. and you know how concerned i am with my public appearance. stop laughing.
hope everyone has a great weekend. hopefully the weather is better where you are. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

i woke up this morning and as soon as i rolled over in bed, i knew it was raining outside. my back felt like two elephants decided to fuck on it all night long. but not typical elephant style, but more like some twisted kama sutra type shit. thankfully? the temps are supposed to rise today so the rain won't be freezing for very long. of course, this also means the snow and ice will melt. so, the farm will be a joyous pit of mud before too long.
i did watch Sonic Highways last night on HBO. another great episode. i think the reason i have never been to New Orleans is the simple fact that i KNOW i would never leave. it's almost earned some like mythical stature in my head actually. perhaps i'll go there sometime before my poor ass dies. as for the Foo Fighters song at the end, i wish it would've had some horns or some tribute to jazz in it.
today is going to be a busy ass day for me. besides all the sports, i have a ton of dishes to do (i'm lazy), two toilets to clean (still lazy), 4 poems to type up (the words finally came out last night), and finally start the process of deciding what the fuck i'm going to take with me when we move. i have a feeling i might try to sell some shit. or, i'm going to be investing in some of those good plastic storage tubs as we'll have a ton of storage out in the attached garage at the new house. i haven't lived anywhere with an attached garage since i was 21. to think that i won't have to walk over ice and snow and mud and shit and dead animals to start a vehicle is pretty much foreign to me now.
Ohio State plays at home this afternoon against Indiana. they are 34 point favorites. hopefully, the game is never close, because at the same time...
Manchester United is playing at Arsenal. United has so many injuries right now that i have no clue who is even going to play for them. hopefully, i'll be enjoying two victory beers later in the afternoon.
also tonight, i'm hoping to watch Saturday Night Live and ROH. sometime before that, i have to squeeze in a shower. this is one of those days where i'm going to test just how much i can get done in 24 hours while dealing with a bad back.maybe i should go lay naked in a snow pile before it melts.
enjoy that visual.
that's all for me now. i have to get the trash out and get something done before the games come on at noon. plus, i guess the cats would like to eat.
hopefully the fucking newspaper is in plastic this morning.
i do hope everyone has a great weekend. may all your sports teams do well, or may you get to see your favorite play or movie or concert, or maybe she/he will fuck you for free this time.
thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

we had a nice thunder and lightning show here last night. so when i woke up this morning and my back was tighter than normal, i figured it must have rained overnight. sure enough. it's struggled to get to 60 degrees today. the seasons have officially changed.
the New York Rangers made their final cuts today. i'm really happy that a few of the kids have made the roster. of course, with Stepan being injured, everything will change when he gets back. i'll have to try to remember to take my camera when i see them play in Columbus on Saturday.
i did pretty damn good picking NFL games yesterday. if Seattle wins tonight, i'll go 12-3 for the week. that's a nice rebound from last week. i have won one of my fantasy matches by 17 points. i'm trailing the other by 2 points, but i have Seattle's kicker tonight. so, hopefully that will be another win. sort of amazing if it does happen as i had two players get zero points yesterday.
the New Orleans Saints won in OT yesterday, 37-31. as entertaining as it was frustrating, i was happy to have that victory beer after that one. i truly needed it.
the Sunday night shows were excellent. Boardwalk Empire had a nice little twist at the end of it that should set up the next few weeks. The Strain was brilliant. and it ended with the perfect cliffhanger for next season. Total Divas was interesting for me, mostly because of the behind the scenes details with Daniel Bryan's injuries. Last Week Tonight was funny and eye opening at the same time. and finally, Homeland was great. the show certainly started a little slow but quickly picked up the pace that then lasted for the next 90 minutes. next week should be good.
tonight is another clusterfuck on television for me. i'll hope that YouTube helps for what i miss on The Big Bang Theory and The Voice. i'm hoping to watch most of Gotham and Monday Night Raw. then, i'm hoping to catch the Men in Blazers show at midnight. and sometime in between all that, watch a little baseball and football. the Elvis wall of televisions would be good for tonight.
my back has been really in misery since i did the dishes this morning. i don't think i pulled anything or anything like that... i just think the weather is kicking my ass again. hopefully i can get a good stretch in here soon.
well, i need to go do some fantasy hockey homework and think about what we're doing for dinner tonight.
i hope everyone had a great weekend. thanks again for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

i worked my ass off yesterday. i warned all of you, i hadn't touched my closet in years. hence, today my mother and i took 5 trash bags full of clothes to this local charity. hopefully someone in the community gets some use out of that stuff. as for me, i believe my back is still hurting from it. so be it.
mom and i had another full day today. had some lunch at a little Lebanese place. i had a coupon for it that of course they weren't honoring any longer. that's my luck. the food was really good. we went to a coin shop trying to sell some old coins that my grandfather for some reason turned into a necklace and key chain. needless to say, i may have to start an eBay account for mom. after that, a trip to the grocery store that wasn't nearly as bad as either one of us thought it was going to be.
now i would love to take a nap. of course, that's not going to happen.
the Yankees got some GREAT pitching yesterday and beat Detroit 1-0. i'm still shocked they won 3 out of 4 from that team. they are getting ready to play Cleveland as i am typing this. hopefully i'll be enjoying another victory beer tonight.
Big Brother last night was awesome. the looks on the faces of the clueless when Zach stayed was great. Jacosta and Hayden were sent to the jury house. hopefully they do another double eviction later in the season.
i've been emailing back and forth with this amazingly beautiful woman i have met on Google+. of course, i have my suspicions as this is my life after all. my luck, i'm being catfished. but, as a writer, you have to welcome the threat of chaos every now and then. of course, i would be beyond fucking happy if this woman is legit and is actually interested in me. talk about the worm turning my friends.
Married and You're the Worst were pretty good last night. FX is just about the best network out there anymore. right up there with Showtime and HBO.
besides the Yankees game tonight, i will probably be watching a little football and maybe some soccer late tonight on the west coast. i also want to write some poems as well tonight. scroll back to the emails and you'll know what i'm planning on writing about.
i'll be back on here tomorrow morning as the Yankees will be playing in the afternoon. they are honoring Paul O'Neill tomorrow. that will be a roller coaster of emotions for me.
be sure all of you check out part 1 and 2 of the latest episode of The Jim Norton Show. the interview with Whitney Cummings was really good. you can find it on vice.com
i do hope everyone has a great weekend.
be well. be creative. be quick to send me cash, panties, or hate mail. be sure to only fuck the ones that cough. and be an entertaining drunk.

the New York Rangers showed life last night, got some great puck luck, and The King stood on his head. he stopped 40 of 41 shots last night and the Rangers won 2-1. this forces the series back out west for Game 5 on Friday. here are the highlights:
the Yankees got a great start from Tanaka (minus the Cano HR in the 9th), a rare 3 run HR from Tex and won 4-2. Tanaka is fucking amazing. he is now 10-1 on the season. worth every fucking penny they spent on him. they go for the sweep tonight.
not sure when the last time i had two victory beers in a night was. feels like weeks. needless to say, i slept well last night.
the World Cup starts today with Brazil vs. Croatia. i think this match will be a little tighter than most people believe it will be.
after that, i really need to get the fucking dishes done. i've been a lazy bastard here for the last few days. of course, i probably will be that way for the next month as well.
tonight, i will be watching a little basketball, some baseball, and god knows what else. chances are i will fall asleep at some point as the weather continues to fuck with my back.
mom got me this cool ass New York Rangers shirt. it arrived today in the mail. has all the players names on it, forming a big NY. pretty damn cool. will be even cooler if they happen to win it all.
that's pretty much all for me today. i'll be on here tomorrow with some World Cup updates, my thoughts heading into Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final, some NBA musings, some bathroom humor, maybe some poetry news, and who knows what else.
hope everyone is well. hope everyone enjoys the World Cup. i decided i'm drinking anytime the USA wins (since i'm American), anytime Germany wins (since i'm part German), and anytime a Manchester United player scores (since i'm an alcoholic).

the New York Rangers took a commanding 2-0 series lead over Montreal last night with an outstanding performance from The King, Henrik Lundqvist. stopping 40 of the 41 shots, he absolutely stood on his head. and to think this team is 2 wins away from going to the Stanley Cup finals is mind boggling to me. they play again on Thursday, at home.
i didn't catch much of The Voice last night. i honestly didn't really care. as long as Jake or Josh wins, i'll be happy. if not, i'll seriously wonder how many times did the producers vote to get this shitty outcome.
as for Monday Night Raw, since it was taped last night from London, i read online to see what happened before it aired. that allowed me to watch the hockey game without feeling like i was missing something.
i did catch both episodes of Louie last night. funny and awkward. such a great show.
tonight will be the mix of playoff basketball, the NBA draft lottery, the Yankees playing the Cubs in Chicago, The Voice season finale and some Deadliest Catch as well. Tanaka is pitching for the Yankees tonight, so hopefully his winning streak continues.
the weather has finally warmed back up here. sadly, the humidity did as well. nothing like some uncomfortable sleeping.
i did write a little poem this afternoon. let's just say i had an interesting time watching some porn today. anything for a poem.
that's all for me kids. i want to get a shower in before dinner so i'm out of here. hope everyone had a great day. i'll be on here tomorrow after the Yankees afternoon game. hopefully it's after a win.
peace and chicken grease... now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
