somedays, there just has to be blood

my mother told me this morning that she had heard that they were sending my uncle home today from the hospital. she was pretty surprised as they still don't know what the fuck he really has. i told her i'd be willing to bet that they have reached the limit his insurance will pay for and they are sending him home instead of not getting paid to have him there. and it's now after 4 and he's still not home. mom went to the hospital about 30 minutes or so ago. i'm sure she'll come home bitching about something the dumb fucks at the hospital did. good times.

if you weren't a fan of either Manchester club yesterday, the Manchester derby was fucking boring as hell. as an avid supporter of Manchester United, it was fucking painful to watch. a 0-0 draw when a victory would have put United at the top of the league was brutal to watch. there was probably only a couple instances that i thought United might actually score. the most action was watching Wayne Rooney get staples in his head to stop some bleeding. they next play Middlesbrough in a couple of days in League Cup play.

the New York Rangers started off slow last night but once they got rolling, they were a snowball racing downhill. the first goal was a beauty:
and after that, the goals kept coming for a 4-1 win. that's a good way to get the shitty taste from Philly out of your mouth. they are off until Friday. here are the game highlights:

the New Orleans Saints built a 27-0 lead yesterday. i then watched them try to piss that lead away. thankfully, they did just enough to win, 27-21. at least that gets them out of last place in the division.

i am leading in all 3 of my fantasy football matchups. all of my opponents have players going tonight, as do i. my picks were finally really good. if Arizona wins tonight, i'll go 11-3 for this week. that's more like it.

wrestling last night was probably as good as i could have hoped for. i was stunned at the beginning of the show:
i was thrilled with how easy Alberto beat John Cena. now, i'm really hoping the rumors are true and Cena is taking a few months off. both Hell in a Cell matches were excellent. i enjoyed Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt and thought it really did a good job of showing the potential that Roman really has:
the match between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker felt like it was from an era sadly gone forever. blood everywhere, low blows, the ring ripped apart, tables and chairs, it was a fucking great way to end a long feud:
and it wouldn't be the WWE without the best thing going today, The New Day:

after Hell in a Cell they showed the first episode to Breaking Ground. i am definitely going to be a fan of this show. i love all the behind the scenes shit i can see.

Homeland was great last night. it had another holy shit ending that just added another level of mindfuck to this season. The Affair was excellent as always. i really appreciate the subtle differences in the storytelling. and next week certainly looks like it's going to be really good.

ok kids, enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

clusterfuck Monday brings us the crowded as hell DVR. on that tonight will be The Voice, The Big Bang Theory and Gotham. i will be flipping between Monday Night Raw and Monday Night Football.

i typed up the 4 poems i have written in the last few days. let me just say that fat fingers and a small keyboard don't go together really well. it was also my first interaction with a new version of Microsoft Word. not exactly the easiest thing to navigate without a mouse. it's also really weird to not have a printer right next to me. not sure how long this computer in the kitchen is going to last. as for the poems, 2 were pretty sad and 2 had some funny ass lines. not sure where i'm going to send them, but i do want to send out some poems this week.

that's all for me today. i have dishes to put away and i need to vacuum. i hope everyone had a great weekend. if not, figure out who to blame and take it out on them.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...
