managing frustration...

the Yankees pissed me off so much last night, i was shaving and showering at 3 in the morning. sometimes, i just do that to (hopefully) change up the mojo. i guess time will tell if it actually fucking works. i did get some decent sleep after the shower, so there's that.

i had to go to the post office today to mail some books back to my partner in crime (CRK). it amazes me the number of characters in this town that are just dumb as shit. thankfully, i'm not one of those.

so yeah, the Yankees lost last night at the Nationals, 5-2. they are off tonight and start a series at home tomorrow night against St. Louis.

Big Brother was good last night. i have no damn clue who gets evicted tonight. part of me hopes it will be Angela, but i'm not getting my hopes up.

AEW Dynamite was good last night.

enjoy some music:

more water left in the rock...

i did squeeze out another poem last night. this one was a little more unexpected, which made me happy. i wasn't going to push my luck and see if i could squeeze out any more.

the Yankees lost yesterday at Miami, 3-1. they play again this afternoon.

AEW Collision was very good last night.

we are supposed to get some strong ass storms tomorrow, so i don't know if i will be on here before Manchester United plays or not.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.

a rainy start to the weekend...

so, i guess the rain moved in right around the time i was trying to fall asleep last night. you can imagine just how fucking restless i am today.

the Yankees won last night over Boston, 5-4. the magic number to clinch the division is now down to 4. i'm really hoping today is the day Judge hits home run number 61.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both pretty good last night.

AEW Rampage was excellent last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was very good last night.

Los Espookys was hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

nothing on the DVR tonight.

Ohio State plays tonight at home tonight against Wisconsin. it should be tougher test for them, but i still expect Ohio State to win.

i'm sure i will watch plenty of college football today.

apparently, i will sleep more when i die...

i think i am going through another stage of insomnia. joy. i didn't get to bed last night until 5 this morning. if my brain would be working on poems, baseball cards, overthrowing the world, i wouldn't mind it at all. instead, i'm stuck thinking of loneliness, despair, new ways to consider old deaths, what exactly a clean death would look like and what would be the perfect opening line of my obituary. good times.

well, the Columbus Blue Jackets pissed away a 3 goal lead last night and lost to Toronto 4-3 in OT. they now will play a Game 5 tomorrow. winner moves on, loser goes home.

Smackown was pretty good last night, as was 205 Live.

Real Time with Bill Maher was excellent last night.

Room 104 was weird last night, and really good.

the Yankees lost last night 1-0 down in Tampa. hopefully, the bats will come alive in today's doubleheader.

i had to go to the store to get mom's pills this morning. thankfully, it wasn't too crowded.

well, i think i know where the pinched nerve is now...

i went this morning to get the x-rays done for my spine and neck. i had 5 x-rays done and given the positions my body was in, i'm 99.999999% sure the problem is in my neck. as i told my mother when i got home, it's a damn good thing my pain tolerance is as high as it is or that woman doing the x-rays would have got punched in the fucking face. my right arm was on fucking fire. now i have to wait for central scheduling to call and schedule my EMG. joy.

i went and got some breakfast and brought it back to the house. after i got done eating, i iced my back down and of course fell asleep for about 30 minutes. and now after going through over 300 emails... i told my mother the next time i haven't checked my email by noon, just go ahead and put a gun in my mouth.

the New York Yankees won last night over the Rangers, 14-7. hopefully the offense shows up again tonight.

WWE Smackdown's Greatest Hits was sort of like a class for anyone who hasn't watched WWE in the last 20 years but is planning on doing so now that Smackdown will be on FOX.

Murder in the Bayou was fucking great last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was hilarious last night.

Room 104 was fucking crazy last night.

tonight on the DVR will be NJPW, ROH and Saturday Night Live.

Ohio State plays tonight at Nebraska. i'm very interested to see how Ohio State plays in a very hostile environment.

i will probably spend most of the day icing my body down in my massage chair.

the New York Rangers play their final preseason game tonight against the Islanders. i'm sure i'll see the highlights at some point tonight.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money.

i should be on here tomorrow in the morning, unless mom needs me to go somewhere for her. i got the birds fed this morning before it got hot outside.

let's start 2016 with a bang... no, not the bang your dirty mind is thinking of

i was up pretty late last night. i finished off a bottle of Jagermeister and then a bottle of Southern Comfort. to be honest, each bottle only had one drink left in them. i then turned to rum for the rest of the evening. i was flipping between NBC and CNN last night, laughing my ass off. it was amazing to see how many filthy lines Whitney Cummings got past the censor on NBC. plus, the coverage on CNN always makes me laugh, mostly because of how uncomfortable Kathy Griffin makes Anderson Cooper.

then i spent a good portion of the night talking to this woman from Ghana. she didn't ask me for money within 30 seconds of the conversation, so i'm assuming it's not a scam artist. plus the photo she showed me didn't come back as a model or porn star when i did a Google search. of course, i've been down this road a million times now. but, she did inspire some poems. i wrote 3 before i finally went to bed. i typed those up this morning and i think they are pretty good. it's a decent start to the new year.

Ohio State beat Notre Dame today 44-28. it was the final game for a ton of their seniors and juniors as i wouldn't be shocked if most of them turned pro by tomorrow morning. it was a decent way to cap off the season. though i really wish they would have made it back to the playoffs. they certainly were better than the two teams that got blown out last night.

i didn't watch much of the Winter Classic. Montreal won 5-1. i doubt i missed much.

my cousin came over today. i thought it was to watch the Ohio State game with me. actually, it was because he couldn't get his tablet to work over at my uncle's house. so i got him hooked up to our wi-fi and then he spent the next 3 hours watching shows on YouTube or something. the funny thing was after the Ohio State game was over, he asked me if i had headphones he could use as he didn't want to interfere with what we were watching. that made me laugh on the inside. technology has turned all the kids into fucking zombies with no social skills at all.

enjoy some music kids:
when i first turned on the television today, Natalie Cole's death was the first thing i saw. rest in peace, Natalie. (February 6, 1950 - December 31, 2015)

now some of this and that:

the rest of tonight will be probably some more football or if that bores me, i'll just flip through the channels while i'm figuring what drink am i going to add some vodka to.

i will be on here tomorrow afternoon sometime after the Dayton Flyers play. it will be a busy morning/early afternoon for me. Manchester United plays in the morning. once that is done, team USA will be taking on the Czech Republic in the World Juniors and sometime during that, the Dayton game will be starting.

so the goal is to write my blog sometime between the end of all that and the start of the New York Rangers game against the Florida Panthers.

hopefully i will be enjoying 4 victory beers tomorrow. i have a few to go enjoy now.

i hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve. hopefully your 2016 will be your best year yet.

living the life of a...

welcome to the 27th day of National Poetry Month. i'm going the YouTube route again today. these three poems though blew me the fuck away when i watched them. enjoy:

the New York Yankees won last night against the Mets, 6-4. that's three series won in a row now. they start a series with Tampa tonight. hopefully they can keep on rolling.

i did watch all of Extreme Rules last night on the WWE Network. it was MUCH better than i was expecting. the only match that did nothing for me was Cena vs. Rusev. that's mostly because i can't stand John Cena. amazingly, the match that i liked the best was Roman Reigns vs. The Big Show. that was much better than it should have been. all in all, i was pleasantly surprised. hopefully Monday Night Raw is good tonight. i know they are bringing back The King of the Ring tournament. that should make for some fun.

the Sunday night shows were excellent. Nurse Jackie was really good. Happyish was a rerun of the pilot episode. i think it's going to be a really good series. Silicon Valley was great. Veep was fucking hilarious. Last Week Tonight was brilliant as usual. watch:

tonight on the DVR will be The Voice and Gotham. i imagine i probably should watch some of Game 7 tonight between the fucking Islanders and the fucking Capitals. the winner faces the New York Rangers in the next round.

mom wanted to go out shopping today. we went to this grocery store that you can also buy just about everything else at. hell, most of the stores around here are turning into this type of place. i did convince mom that i should try Bud Light's new Long Island Iced Tea mix just to see if it is any good or not. good times.

i think tomorrow she wants to go out and try to find a better chair for her at her computer. so, i suppose in the afternoon we'l make a journey to Office Depot or something.

that's all for me today. one of these fucking days i'll get around to sending out some more poems. i've got a couple of places in mind.

hope everyone had a great weekend.

who doesn't love a quickie?

so, in a day where i've had a shit load of computer problems, boxed up more of my life, talked with a beautiful woman in Africa, and typed up a poem that was stuck in my head for two damn days, what do i come here to bitch about today?

IT'S FUCKING COLD OUTSIDE

a high temp of 13 today. holy shit, i can't wait to start loading up cars and vans to move my life in this shit. fuck me.

here's a quick view of my yesterday...

the New York Rangers blew another fucking lead (3-0) but held on this time to beat Columbus in a shootout (4-3). here are the highlights from the game:

i did watch a bit of the Academy Awards last night. here is the only thing i saw that i thought was worth anything:

the Sunday night shows were good. The Jinx took another twist that was fascinating. Girls was pretty funny. Togetherness was really good. Last Week Tonight had yet another brilliant 30 minutes of news and comedy: for example:

Total Divas was good as well last night.

Togetherness actually helped me finish the damn poem that was stuck in my head for two days. i didn't know how i was going to finish it and then something clicked while i was watching the show. i typed the poem up this afternoon (once the computer started working correctly again) and i really like it.

tonight is a true clusterfuck on television for me. Gotham, Monday Night Raw, and The Voice are all on at the exact same time. now, next week, when i FINALLY have a DVR, i will no longer have to bitch about this. but, for tonight, i guess the plan is to watch Gotham and then flip to The Voice and Monday Night Raw during the commercial breaks. since Raw is the night after a ppv, i will probably watch that more. but, i know if i'm up at 3 or 4 in the morning, i'll be playing catch up on YouTube with both shows. either that or hunting for boxes to fill up with old music and books. good times.

that's all for me today. i hope everyone had a great, wonderful weekend. if not, it could always be worse. you could be going to live next to the father of the cousin that molested you. anyone want that fresh slice of hell? or at the very least, would you like to help me pack a few boxes? just asking.

what to do in a traffic jam...

my patience was once again tested last night while driving home from Columbus. taking over 30 minutes to move 3 miles or so is not exactly what i wanted to be doing after a big meal at Waffle House. i joked with my mother and said that all this construction in the area will be done in one of our lifetimes. she said don't be so sure.

so, we got home about 45 minutes later than i was hoping to last night. i was able to catch the Foo Fighters show on HBO. it was excellent. but, i fell asleep before i could watch The Knick. so, i'm hoping to catch that sometime tonight.

Columbus beat Calgary last night 3-2. the first two periods were rather boring. Calgary found their legs in the third and made it really interesting. our next game up there will be on Halloween. that will be crazy as the Ohio Comic Con will be going on at the same time. parking will be a fucking disaster.

i still need to feed the cats before my lazy ass settles down for a day of sports. i spent the morning bouncing between work on the computer and watching Premier League games. plenty of red cards today, that's for sure.

Ohio State plays Rutgers this afternoon. hopefully i will be drinking a victory beer early this evening.

mom decided she wanted to go to the store by herself. i'm interested to see what she gets. she's not good at sticking to the list. i don't think her hearing aid is going to work for her. it was definitely sensory overload last night at the hockey game.

i believe Nine Inch Nails is on Austin City Limits tonight. so, i'll be watching that before ROH. that should be a fun two hours before i go to bed.

tomorrow is trash day, so i'll be up early getting all that work done before the football games start. so, expect a quickie from me early tomorrow morning.

i do hope everyone is having a great weekend. do check out the two previous posts from today. that's some work i'm really proud of. thanks again for allowing me to waste your precious time.

of all the damn days...

let me paint a picture here... i just find the news that a Manchester United player was on his way to a rival and my fucking internet goes down. and it goes down for 5 damn hours. of all the damn days, the first of the month, deadline day around the world for soccer, and Frontier Communications proves once again what a piece of shit company it truly is. if the internet wouldn't have come back on at some point today, i believe you would have found me in jail tomorrow. something was going to burn to the ground.

so i woke up this morning to my fantasy football teams that were drafted. just based on projections, i'm supposed to finish 4th and 5th in the leagues i'm in. i'll take those odds. i think both teams can be championship teams. and that is always what i want to do, pull off the double. if i do that, i might end my fantasy football life on a high. of course, the real fun begins when the waiver wire starts. another reason i can't stand shitty internet service. it's never good for fantasy football.

and then i saw the news that Manchester United was on the verge of signing Falcao. first thing i thought was HOLY FUCKING SHIT. and then i waited and waited, and once my internet came back on, i saw this picture...

i have no clue how he will fit into the lineup, but you can never say no to one of the best strikers in the world. United also added Daley Blind today. he will fit in perfectly as a defensive midfielder. should be an interesting season. of course, there were some goodbyes today, most notably Danny Welbeck going to Arsenal and Chicharito going on loan to Real Madrid. that will take some getting used to. all in all, i would have loved to see some more defensive players come in, but i guess we're going to try to win every game 5-3.

i'm typing this up with one eye on Monday Night Raw. so if i stop making sense, it's because i'm watching wrestling.

the Yankees pissed away a 3-0 lead yesterday, losing 4-3. they might as well wave the white fucking flag by now. they were thankfully off today. they start a series with the Red Sox at home tomorrow.

the shows last night were really good. Big Brother was pretty funny. hopefully, in a little bit, i'm going to read some news that is going to make me really happy on Wednesday. Ray Donovan was good. it was a little predictable, but really graphic. that made up for it. The Strain was fucking awesome. i really love this show. Masters of Sex was pretty good as well.

next Sunday is going to be a cluster fuck with some other shows i love starting back up, along with football, so i basically won't be getting to bed until morning. good times.

i basically did nothing on my labor day. i did finish up a birthday gift for my sister. other than that, it was basically me plotting ways to destroy Frontier Communications in a way that would make Hitler blush. trust me, you don't want to catch me on the wrong day.

that's pretty much all for me for now. hopefully i don't have any shitty internet problems tomorrow. if i do, please get bail money ready. thank you for allowing me to waste a few minutes of your precious time.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

mom just came in to tell me i'm not going to like the Big Brother news. i swear, if that fucking sociopath Frankie wins it all this year, i will consider never watching the show again. a little advice to reality show producers out there, stunt casting is a sure fire way to turn a loyal fan base against the show FOREVER.

what am i doing awake at this hour

i'm starting to write this at 9:45 AM on a Sunday morning. no big deal most of you might think, but not to this fucker who didn't go to sleep until 5 AM. good times.

got an offer to cut off my goatee last night for a picture of this black woman's ass. it was a very tempting offer, but i said no. i believe it was one of those that my imagination is more powerful and i don't want a picture to ruin it. besides, i do plan on seeing her ass sometime before i die.

i wrote 6 poems last night. typed them up last night as well. i believe i may have a few winners in that batch. i also came up with a few different logos for this blog. i'll try sometime in the next week or so to get some pictures of them and post them here to see what all 2 or 3 of you who read this think.

while i was writing those poems last night, it dawned on me that this was the weekend of my 20 year high school reunion. of course, i suppose i was not supposed to know that info, as i was never invited to the festivities. i doubt i missed anything.

the Yankees won yesterday, 7-1. some great pitching, timely hitting, and taking advantage of some mistakes. hopefully that is how they play the entire second half. they go for the sweep today.

ROH was good last night. the tag team of War Machine is one to keep your eyes on. those guys will be stars before too long.

hopefully i will get a nap sometime today as i have a crazy night of television ahead for me. Big Brother, Ray Donovan, Masters of Sex, Last Week Tonight, and finally, The Strain. i have no idea how long i'll be up to catch all of them as a few overlap with each other. i do think i have mom convinced that whenever the fuck we do move, we're getting a DVR.

speaking of mom, she hit her head last night while getting into her SUV. i fear she may have another concussion as she has been nauseous and complaining of a headache. doesn't help that her left ear is still bothering her, even after the surgery. i'm doing my best to keep relatively quiet and stay out of her way.

the dense fog has finally lifted from this morning. i need to get my ass in gear as i have plenty of shit to do this morning. i imagine the animals would like some food and i need to pickup the trash. might surprise my mother with some breakfast, although i have no fucking clue what she would like to eat.

and now, the final update on the potential vacation. it has now become a stay-cation, as mom has decided she's going to use that week off to clean the house and get rid of some shit so we don't have to do it while trying to move. so, i know what i'll be doing the first week of August. looks like the poor will be wearing some new clothes come this fall.

enough of my rambling. i do hope everyone is having a great weekend.

be well. be creative. be a good drinker and a better lover. be sure she's not a cop first.

mere seconds away...

i have been a sports fan for nearly my entire life. being punched in the gut by a game is not new to me. hell, i quit believing in happiness after 2001 when the Yankees lost in the World Series. so, last night, when the USA gave up the goal in the final seconds against Portugal, i was stunned, shocked, hurt, upset... but really fucking happy it wasn't a loss. probably helps that i was watching wrestling about 3 minutes after the game, so my mind was occupied. while the 2-2 draw keeps everyone in the group of death alive, i still feel pretty confident that the USA WILL advance to the knockout round. of course, come Thursday, i might be feeling different.

in the other games yesterday, Belgium beat Russia 1-0 in one boring ass match. thankfully, i didn't watch much of it. Algeria beat South Korea 4-2 in a pretty entertaining match.

today starts the final games of the group stage. the day starts with Group B. Spain vs. Australia in a game that means nothing. Chile vs. Netherlands to determine the group winner. in Group A action, Brazil plays Cameroon in what should be an entertaining game. and then the HUGE match between Mexico and Croatia. that will determine who gets out of the group. hopefully another good day of action.

the Yankees played like shit yesterday. Tanaka pitched well enough to deserve a better fate, but the offense decided it wanted the day off. 8-0. at least the fucking Old Timer's game was entertaining. it was good to see some of the guys i remember from my childhood, following the Yankees in the newspaper and by baseball cards. they play again tonight in Toronto.

the ROH ppv last night, Best in the World, was great. 3 hours of non-stop action. some really good matches. a few holy shit moments. a title change that i didn't see coming. i thought it was a very good start to a new era in ROH. hopefully the buy rate is good enough that they will do another one.

got an invite to submit some poems to the Chiron Review in the mail over the weekend. i'll definitely have to come up with something to send their way.

mom is up in Columbus for most of the week. so, i'll be home alone. how i wish i still had the energy i had in my twenties. i might try to do some creative shit while i'm alone. i haven't painted since god knows when. and i've had a YouTube video idea brewing in my head for months now. hopefully, i have the right batteries in the house as most of my shit is dead at the moment.

i need to get some gas sometime in the next few days. the grass is getting to the point of ridiculous. of course, it's rained at some point like every day for the last week or so. doesn't look like it will be "dry" until the end of the week.

the Sunday night shows were excellent last night. Last Week Tonight had me laughing. Nurse Jackie was a really good setup for the finale next week. Californication was good. the series finale is next week. i'll be a little sad to see one of my favorite shows end. Penny Dreadful was spectacular last night. i can't wait to see how this season ends. if Eva Green doesn't win something for this series, i'll be shocked.

tonight will be a mix of baseball and Monday Night Raw. and then if i'm up to it, some creative outbursts.

hope this Monday is finding everyone well... not too hungover from the weekend, be it sports, alcohol, sex, etc...

be well my enemies, i will return tomorrow. hopefully with pictures.

let the music take over

just one of those days when the weather feels so damn nice that you just wanna be a lazy piece of shit for the day. and since i'm that most days, i decided i would get a few things done and then let the music take over.

got the dishes done this afternoon after i decided i didn't feel like doing them at midnight last night. also, finished The Killing Joke this afternoon. i really enjoyed it. so, it looks like i know where some of my money will be going now.

got a compliment on my beard last night at the grocery store. of course, it was from the 16 year old girl bagging the groceries. i thanked her and then did my best to not do anything to get me arrested.

not sure what i'm going to watch tonight on television. i believe the Yankees are in Kansas City and play at 8 pm. other than that, not a clue. i'm sure there must be a soccer friendly on somewhere. of course, there's always some pro wrestling and the Food Network. i'm sure i'll fall asleep to something.

did have some fun on iTunes today. what amazes me is most of these songs i find that are a few years old come from my brain recalling a certain situation or certain poem that i was writing when that song was playing. quite frankly, it spooks me out at times. but, i enjoy it just as much. you'll see some new names down below.

had a holy shit moment with an old girlfriend who emailed me back today. she brought up something good that happened over 20 years ago. that brought back some memories, let me tell ya. that should allow you to understand some of the music below.

hope this finds everyone well and ready for the weekend. i'll probably be on here early tomorrow, given that all my sports are going to be on Saturday night.

take it easy my friends, and by all means, take it again...
