more water left in the rock...

i did squeeze out another poem last night. this one was a little more unexpected, which made me happy. i wasn't going to push my luck and see if i could squeeze out any more.

the Yankees lost yesterday at Miami, 3-1. they play again this afternoon.

AEW Collision was very good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, Heels, Billions and The Chi.

the New Orleans Saints play their first preseason game today at home against the Chiefs. i'll probably watch some of that today.

i'll probably also check out some soccer, golf and NASCAR today.

we are supposed to get some strong ass storms tomorrow, so i don't know if i will be on here before Manchester United plays or not.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.

a big thank you to everyone for checking out my latest published poem:

i did watch some of the basketball hall of fame ceremonies last night:

until tomorrow kids...

at least the sun is out...

i know i said i was going to do a new SoundCloud recording today. sometimes life just gets in the fucking way of my creativity. that being said, since insomnia is running my life at the moment, expect something in the middle of the fucking night.

here is your video for this day of National Poetry Month:

and here are a couple links to poems you should be reading:

The Masked Singer was pretty good last night. i have known who the white tiger has been since the first episode of the season.

NXT was really good last night, especially the main event.

AEW was really good last night as well.

i did watch NXT UK this afternoon. it was really good.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Young Sheldon, Total Bellas, Cake, Better Things, Indebted, Desus & Mero and Vice News Tonight.

i'm not really looking forward to grocery shopping tomorrow. the weather is supposed to be pretty nice, which probably means more people than there should be will be out tomorrow. and i'm sure by the time i get to the store, the elderly will have ransacked the fucking place.

i've got 3 checks i need to write tonight to pay down some credit card bills and i know i need to get some writing done and some recording done.

so yeah, that's all for me kids.

i hope everyone is doing well and is staying as healthy as possible.

until tomorrow...

there's a sadist inside of me...

whenever something is off in my world, it never fails that i wake up each morning by a cramp in my left leg. that has happened 3 different times in the last week. this morning, the cramp was in my right leg. i'm not exactly sure what the fuck is going on, except most likely impending doom. of course, when the last thing you remember before going to bed was a black woman telling you the immense joy she gets from a warm water enema, i suppose a cramp in the right leg is par for the fucking course.

the guys from Best Buy got here at a decent time yesterday. they were pretty efficient, even though the company does shit ass backwards. instead of having the guy that was installing the new television take the old television, they had a completely different crew come out and get that. the new television and sound bar look great and worked perfectly yesterday. the guy set it up so the DirecTV remote controls everything. that makes it pretty easy. and thankfully, mom doesn't have to crank the television louder than fuck to hear it anymore.

Manchester United was held to a draw yesterday at home against Wolves, 1-1. it's probably a good thing i wasn't able to see the game.

Ohio State whipped Tulane yesterday 49-6. this sets up the huge game next week at Penn State.

the New York Yankees defeated Baltimore yesterday 3-2 in 11 innings. and since Tampa lost earlier in the day, the victory clinched a playoff spot for the Yankees. now, next up will be clinching home field for the wild card game. the Yankees will hopefully get the sweep of the Orioles this afternoon.
today is the last home game of the regular season.

the New York Rangers lost to the New York Islanders 5-2 last night. probably a good thing i didn't see that game either.

ROH was pretty damn good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, The Deuce, Ballers, Insecure, Last Week Tonight, America to Me, Shameless and Kidding.

the New Orleans Saints play this afternoon at Atlanta. i'd really love to see the Saints beat the shit out of the Falcons. it's a game the Saints really need as they have already lost one division game this season.

when we opened up the house yesterday, the temperature in here dropped from 74 to 68 in a matter of minutes. i think the new windows and insulation we did awhile back are doing their job.

i think there is supposed to be some rain moving back in the area by tomorrow. of course, i have shit to do.

i'll be on here tomorrow sometime in the afternoon. mom wants to get her hair cut at some point this week. i probably need one as well. if the weather is decent and she's up for it, i'm hoping to get that done on Monday.

i hope everyone had a good Saturday. i hope your Sunday is even better.

the poetic juices strike again

i wrote 4 poems last night before i went to sleep. i never try to do this, as i usually sleep like shit afterwards. sure enough, as soon as i woke up this morning, i had another poem i had to write. my brain never shuts off anymore. as great as that is sometimes, it's fucking evil as well. i typed the 5 poems up and really like them. i believe i have 10 poems ready to go out tomorrow. i'd like to start August off strong for a change.

the New York Yankees showed a little heart last night and won 6-5 in 10 innings against the Mets. i gladly had something strong to drink after that one. always good to beat the fucking Mets. they play again tonight.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good but was nowhere near as good as last week. the closing of the show almost saved it, with Randy Orton attacking Brock Lesnar, but 3 hours is just too fucking long when the show drags. hopefully Smackdown tonight will be better.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown and the season finale of Deadliest Catch.

i got some great FREE music on NoiseTrade today. i'll post the links below in the music section.

i did listen to the latest Sam & Cathy podcast. hilarious as usual. you can find it by going here:
http://notsam.com/srshow/2016/8/1/sam-cathy-021-charades

i got all the trash picked up and now, i just want to relax and get a nap in. it's not that it's fucking hot, it's the fucking humidity that kills me. i spent 20 minutes outside and i'm either sweating or ready to curl up like a cat and go to sleep.

of course, if i slept better at night, i probably wouldn't have this problem. or maybe i'm just a lazy fuck who wishes he could sleep more.

no chatter needed from the peanut gallery.
