my patience was once again tested last night while driving home from Columbus. taking over 30 minutes to move 3 miles or so is not exactly what i wanted to be doing after a big meal at Waffle House. i joked with my mother and said that all this construction in the area will be done in one of our lifetimes. she said don't be so sure.
so, we got home about 45 minutes later than i was hoping to last night. i was able to catch the Foo Fighters show on HBO. it was excellent. but, i fell asleep before i could watch The Knick. so, i'm hoping to catch that sometime tonight.
Columbus beat Calgary last night 3-2. the first two periods were rather boring. Calgary found their legs in the third and made it really interesting. our next game up there will be on Halloween. that will be crazy as the Ohio Comic Con will be going on at the same time. parking will be a fucking disaster.
i still need to feed the cats before my lazy ass settles down for a day of sports. i spent the morning bouncing between work on the computer and watching Premier League games. plenty of red cards today, that's for sure.
Ohio State plays Rutgers this afternoon. hopefully i will be drinking a victory beer early this evening.
mom decided she wanted to go to the store by herself. i'm interested to see what she gets. she's not good at sticking to the list. i don't think her hearing aid is going to work for her. it was definitely sensory overload last night at the hockey game.
i believe Nine Inch Nails is on Austin City Limits tonight. so, i'll be watching that before ROH. that should be a fun two hours before i go to bed.
tomorrow is trash day, so i'll be up early getting all that work done before the football games start. so, expect a quickie from me early tomorrow morning.
i do hope everyone is having a great weekend. do check out the two previous posts from today. that's some work i'm really proud of. thanks again for allowing me to waste your precious time.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
peace and chicken grease...
