restless ambition

i was up most of the night trying to find a comfortable spot for my back so i could actually get some sleep. i think exhaustion won before comfort did, so i was sore as hell this morning. my back has slowly been a little better as the day has gone on. i did spend a few hours in the massage chair hoping that would do the trick. much like most things, it will only last so long.

while in the chair, i watched American Sniper. that was one gripping movie. certainly one of those movies that sort of just leaves you numb at the end. and in that numbness i wrote 3 poems. i will probably type them up later in the week. too much shit going on today.

The Voice was pretty good last night. there was a few artists on the last night of the blind auditions that i thought were really good. next week starts the battle rounds.

Gotham was spectacular last night. i am absolutely loving this season so far. The Big Bang Theory was very funny last night. so was Life in Pieces. sadly i could see myself as the guy having stomach problems.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. of course, i'm going to enjoy any episode that ends with John Cena getting the shit beat out of him. here are some highlights:

i didn't watch much of Monday Night Football last night. i got amazingly lucky in fantasy football. i didn't have one of my teams get above 85 points and i won all 3 matchups. that's nothing but luck there. i went 9-6 on my picks for the week.

time for some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice, The Muppets and Scream Queens. i will be watching the New York Yankees take on Houston in the wild card game, at least until they piss me off to the point where i can't stand to watch them anymore. i'm hoping it never gets to that point tonight.

i got some great FREE music on NoiseTrade today. i'll put the link below but please be aware that you can only get this album on the site for a week.

the NHL season starts tomorrow night so i will probably be on here early tomorrow. the New York Rangers play at Chicago tomorrow at the same time as a few other things i want to watch. yet another night where the DVR will be smoking.

well, i've got trash to pick up and get down to the curb. plus, i have no clue what we're doing for dinner. i figure we might end up being like every other asshole in this country and go get breakfast at McDonald's for dinner.

hope this finds everyone with a cool drink in your hand and your pants around your ankles.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...
