the end of 2017 (hopefully)

well, we've come to the end of another year. much like i expected, the chaos in the country and government have been a boon to my writing. this has easily been my most productive year as a writer. i'm hoping to have some concrete plans in place sometime in 2018 for a new book, some new videos on YouTube, some new recordings on Soundcloud, and if i happen to get a wild hair up my ass, i'm thinking of doing an album of spoken word recordings and releasing that on Bandcamp. now, let's see if my lazy ass does any of that shit in the next year or not.

the Dayton Flyers lost yesterday at Duquesne 70-62. for some damn reason, this team can't finish a half strong, be it the first or second half. Dayton had the lead early and then blew that by halftime. Dayton had the lead in the second half and then only scored 1 more point for the rest of the game. it could just be how young they are or it could be a coach that simply doesn't know what the fuck he is doing right now. and i love all the Anthony Grant apologists that are coming to his defense with the old wait until he gets all of his players in here excuse. if they still suck in 3 years, i hope they all understand just how much they were wrong.

Manchester United played a listless 0-0 draw yesterday against Southampton. Lukaku got stretchered off in the first half and he will miss at least the next 2 games. Zlatan is out for a month, so i guess that means any goal scoring is going to have to come from Rashford or Martial. i would put down Pogba but they have him playing so far from the goal that i refuse to be delusional about him scoring again this season. sadly, this season has now turned into a struggle to stay in the top 4. great.

ROH last night was a look back at some of the matches from 2017.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Shameless and the season finale of SMILF.

the New Orleans Saints can win their division today with a win at Tampa Bay. with a little luck, they could even get a higher seed if they win. they haven't won the division since 2011.

team USA plays Finland today at the World Juniors. a victory will give them second place in the group. anything else and they will have a tougher game in the quarterfinals.

i believe it was somewhere around -7 when i went out to get the paper this morning. i won't be going outside again today.

i'm not sure what the hell i'll be doing at midnight tonight. if it's like most of my adult years, i'll have a beverage in one hand and plenty of poetic thoughts in my head. the sad thing, the only kiss i have ever had at midnight of a new year was from a guy. not that there's anything wrong with that, but watching that shit after the ball drops is probably why most of my poems that start off a new year are bitter as fuck.

as always, i hope everyone has a great New Year's Eve. drive safely, party hard and live with no regrets.

should i go out and shovel?

i believe we got a good 3 to 4 inches of snow last night. i don't really feel like going out and shoveling this morning or afternoon for that matter. so, i'm really hoping one of the neighbors and his kids feel like doing a good deed today.

when the USA got down 2-0 to Canada yesterday at the World Juniors, i was not happy. when they were down 3-1 after two periods, i was not happy. but midway through the third period, the USA finally started to play their way. they got the score even at 3 by the end of regulation. nothing happened in OT, so it was off to the shootout. when the first two guys scored for the USA, i felt like i could finally breathe. no one from Canada scored in the shootout so the USA won the game 4-3. it's a pretty big win, but they will need to defeat Finland tomorrow to get the easier draw in the quarterfinals.

Ohio State smothered USC on defense last night, causing 4 turnovers and 8 sacks. that's a good way to win. USC had nearly 200 more yards than Ohio State but could only score 7 points. that's as many points as Ohio State's defense scored. Ohio State won the Cotton Bowl 24-7. it was the final game of J.T. Barrett's Ohio State career. i believe he has every damn record for a QB in Big Ten history now.

NJPW last night was the 60 minute draw between Okada and Omega. i believe i now have all 3 matches of their epic trilogy on the DVR.

the New York Rangers lost in a shootout last night at Detroit, 3-2. at least they got a damn point out of the game. every single fucking point matters now in the season. their next game will be outdoors on New Year's Day against Buffalo.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH.

Manchester United plays in a little bit at home against Southampton. i'm really hoping the boys can get back to winning.

the Dayton Flyers start their A-10 season on the road today at Duquesne. i have no idea what to expect. Dayton should win today, but i wouldn't be surprised if they lost either.

i'm sure i'll probably watch some other football and basketball games today as well.

i ended up typing up 5 poems yesterday. that puts the number at 40 for this month. that's a nice round number to end on. i'll probably send out some poems the first week of January.

that's all for me kids. i hope everyone enjoys their Saturday. hopefully you're not buried in snow.

before the next snowstorm hits...

well, exactly what i feared was going to happen last night happened. team USA was clearly looking past Slovakia last night at the World Juniors. Slovakia made them pay for that, beating the USA 3-2. this makes the outdoor game today between the USA and Canada very interesting. if Canada wins, they will win the group and be in the best spot to get back to the gold medal game. no matter what happens, the USA will make it past the group stage. the problem is a loss today means they will finish 3rd in the group and be truly up shit's creek without a paddle. joy.

i wrote 4 poems last night/this morning. i haven't typed them up yet since i think there might be some more coming. my apologies to all the editors that are going to get email from me in early 2018. i'm sitting on a goldmine i believe.

i did go out to the bank this morning to make a deposit. there was just a little snow in the air. i believe by this afternoon it's really going to get interesting.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NJPW.

Ohio State takes on USC tonight in the Cotton Bowl. this will be the last game for many players at Ohio Sate, so i'm hoping they go out with a victory.

the New York Rangers play tonight at Detroit. hopefully i will have a drink in both hands by the end of tonight.

i will probably be on here in the morning tomorrow before Manchester United plays. if not, it will be before Dayton plays at Duquesne in the afternoon.

i hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. i do hope everyone gets to enjoy the last weekend of 2017.

this year is seriously trying to kill me

nothing quite like driving 55 on a little two lane road in the sticks and a fucking truck decides to pull out in front of you. as i told my mother when i got home finally this afternoon... well, your brakes work.

i went to Menards by myself today. that little driving incident happened on my way there. so much for those clean underwear. it took every ounce of my soul to stop me from running that fucker off the road. on top of that, i couldn't find anything i was hoping to find for myself today. so, i bought myself a lava lamp that was on sale. i did find everything mom wanted and found a few things for my sister. and i kept the bill under $100. that surprised mom.

after that i had to drop off some paperwork at the doctor's office. i guess we are staying with the new doctors that have moved into the practice. we both have appointments in early January. that should be interesting.

after that, it was off to the grocery store to get some detergent that mom forgot to have me get yesterday and her prescriptions. as i stood in line there, i was hoping her order was ready or someone was going to have to fucking die. these are the afternoons where i wish i would just slink off into a bar and drink myself away.

i started laughing on the way home. the powers that be can simply ask me if i want to die. i'll gladly volunteer to go right after my next round of poetry submissions.

speaking of poems, i wrote 3 more last night around 2 in the morning. something about watching a sex scene in a kitchen that brought back a memory from my 20's. i typed those poems up this morning. i really like them. that makes 35 for the month.

Treehouse Masters was a bit of a Christmas marathon last night. 2 of the 4 episodes i had never seen before.

the New York Rangers won last night in a shootout over Washington 1-0. no one scored until the shootout. both backups played last night in goal. sadly, Chris Kreider left the game with a bad right arm. it was determined today he has a blood clot. that's not good. and trust me, i know.

NXT was really good last night. i'm really happy for Johnny Gargano.

i think today took a few years off my life

the one thing i always wonder about, as we move closer to a cashless and automated society, what the fuck happens when the internet goes out? well, today was my day to figure that out when i was at the grocery store. the internet kept going in and out and was slow as fuck. of course, i had no clue this was going on as i was filling my cart up with everything that was on the scroll for a grocery list. i think i was in line for over 20 minutes before i could even get the shit out of the cart. now mind you, my left leg starts throbbing in pain after about 2 minutes of just standing. by the time i had put my credit card in and waited like a good boy, i wanted someone to just take a saw and cut the damn leg off. joy.

and then i got home to a insurance crisis with my mother. i guess our doctor and his other doctors in their practice quit right before Christmas. i think they are going with a new medical group. and i have no damn clue if my insurance or my mother's insurance will be accepted by them. apparently mom got a hold off whoever is in that group now at the old place and they explained to mom the mess they are in the process of cleaning up. now the crisis part is my mom's doctor never sent in the fucking paperwork for her disability claim. she got a letter in the mail today that if they don't have that paperwork by Jan. 7th, her claim will be denied. and then she has no fucking money coming in and has to start drawing from her retirement two years before she wanted to. if the people cleaning up the mess can't find the paperwork, mom is basically fucked. not exactly how i wanted to spend my afternoon.

Smackdown was really good last night.

205 Live was pretty good last night.

Drop the Mic was good last night but easily the weakest episode of the season so far.

i did watch a good portion of the USA vs. Denmark game last night in the World Juniors tournament. the USA's defense of their gold medal from last year got off to a great start. they destroyed Denmark last night, 9-0. they will play Slovakia tomorrow night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Treehouse Masters. i'll watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.

the New York Rangers play at home tonight against Washington. it would be nice to see the Rangers win tonight.

last night when i was doing the trash, i somehow managed to cut my middle finger on my left hand really good. it's not quite deep enough for stitches. but it's right in the spot where i hit it every fucking time i use the finger to type. my 40's have turned into a test to see just how much i enjoy the pain. great.

i'll be on here sometime tomorrow after mom and i go to Menards. they have some really great deals on stuff we use all the time (toilet paper, napkins, etc.). so, we might as well stock up and get some money back in the rebate offer. i think she also has some prescriptions that should be ready at the grocery store tomorrow. i figured they would have called as i was on my way home from there today. that would have been the cherry on top of this fucking day.

well, hello again...

i'm back from my little Christmas break. everything went well at my sister's house. her friends and their children really seemed to like their presents. i think my sister and mother both liked what i got them. all in all, other than shitty sleeping and way too much time on the toilet, it was a pretty good Christmas.

we did get up there and got everything out of the car by the time the New Orleans Saints game started. that was my plan. so i was pretty damn happy being able to sit down and watch the game on a big screen in my sister's basement and not be disturbed at all. and thankfully, the Saints won and are now going to be in the playoffs. and if they win at Tampa Bay next weekend, they will win the division and host a playoff game.

mom and i got back home last night. in time to put shit away and sit down for a little wrestling.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good and then the last hour of the show happened. Roman Reigns going nuts and destroying Samoa Joe was excellent. and then, the unexpected change of the tag titles. that truly caught me off guard. so, your new tag champs on Raw are Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan. never thought i'd type that in my lifetime.

it was nice to actually get some decent sleep last night. even if it was just a little over 4 hours.

i got up this morning and wrote 8 poems. i wrote those in the new notebook my sister's friends got me for Christmas. i typed those up this afternoon and really like them. that gives me 32 poems for the month. so, that's another goal crossed off.

when Manchester United went down 2-0 in the first half this morning, i was not pleased. when Jesse Lingard scored 2 goals to even the game in the second half, i wasn't pleased either. sure, they got a point out of the game. a game they honestly should have lost because a draw does nothing to teach the team or the management a lesson. they have no fucking chance to win the league. and if they keep playing like this, they will struggle to remain in the top 4 for the rest of the season.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown and Drop the Mic. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

the World Juniors tournament started today. team USA takes on Denmark tonight in Buffalo. hopefully the boys can defend their gold medal from last year's tournament.

that's pretty much all for me kids. i need to drag my ass out into the cold and get the trash done next door. i believe the wind chill here at the moment is somewhere around 0 degrees. oh joy.

i hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. i hope your Boxing Day went well. and i hope you have a great last week of 2017.

well, the snow lasted for a little while

the inch of rain we had overnight eventually turned over to snow this morning. it didn't last on the ground long as the sun eventually came out. of course, it's supposed to stick tomorrow. hopefully i'll be already at my sister's house by the time that happens.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows. i can't wait for it to come back in 2018.

Manchester United pissed away chance after chance today and gave up a goal at the death to leave Leicester City with a 2-2 draw. i knew it was going to happen but that doesn't mean i'm not still fucking pissed.

the Dayton Flyers won today 79-67 over Wagner. Dayton did their best to try to piss away a 22 point halftime lead in the second half. thankfully, they made their free throws down the stretch. i don't think this team has played a good second half this season. that's beyond troubling. but, at least i'll get to have a drink tonight.

i don't know how we're going to fit all the presents and the chair in the car, but i'll find a damn way.
my sister told my mother that someone else is coming to dinner tomorrow night. mom said she didn't have a present for her. i asked mom if she wanted me to whip up a mix cd for her. 45 minutes later i handed mom the final mix. thank god i listen to everything.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Toronto. hopefully they will get a victory before the Christmas break.

i won't be blogging on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. i doubt my sister would appreciate it since i will be at her place. i will be back on here on Boxing Day, probably after Manchester United pisses me off again.

i hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. be safe, don't get caught drinking and driving, and be sure to already have the presents in the car once the big blow up with the family happens.

i plan on taking my camera, so if i get some good pictures of the white Christmas we're supposed to have, i will share them.

these rainy days will kill me eventually

i woke up this morning with a horrible pain in my neck. i figured i had slept wrong or something. i then opened up the blinds in the kitchen and saw it was raining. or it could be that i thought. the damn rain gets my arthritis raging inside of me. but, as i have done for 41 years now, just plow through the fucking pain and get on with it. i had laundry to do, which gets harder and harder since i can't stand for long periods of time any longer. nothing quite like folding a t-shirt while it feels like your left leg is about to break. as usual, just turn up the music louder and get it over with. thankfully, my laundry is done now.

the New York Rangers were grossly outplayed last night by New Jersey. the fact that the game got to OT was simply due to The King. he had 45 damn saves last night as the Rangers lost to the Devils in a shootout, 4-3. of course, it was an ex-Rangers player that did them in, Brian Boyle. it never fails.
the Rangers play tomorrow night at Toronto.

Young Sheldon was pretty good last night.

Life in Pieces was fucking hilarious last night.

A Saturday Night Live Christmas Special was funny as well last night. those skits seemed to lift my mood a bit.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight.

neither my mom or i really felt like going to the Dayton Flyers game tomorrow afternoon. it's supposed to be snowing or sleeting at that time and i figured arthritis would keep us from enjoying anything. thankfully, my cousin can use the tickets. they are coming over in the morning to get the tickets and parking pass. i told mom to tell them to think of it as an early Christmas gift. Dayton should win the game. if they lose to Wagner, this season is going to be even longer than i feared.

that game will be on at the same time that Manchester United is playing tomorrow.

i will probably be on here after those games are over.

by not going to the game, we will have plenty of time to pack the car and know exactly how much room we do or don't have before we leave Sunday morning to go to my sister's house up in the Columbus area.

i'm not looking forward to driving in the snow. and i'm trying to do my best to try to enjoy the holiday once i get up there. of course, if the New Orleans Saints lose on Sunday, all bets are off.

i'm going to try to do some writing tonight. if that happens, i'll have news in the blog tomorrow of some poems being typed up in the morning.

if you have already started your travels for the holiday, be safe. if you're smart and having it at your place, enjoy a nice glass of something strong.

say hello to winter

so, i didn't go to the store last night while pissed. i decided doing something stupid, getting arrested and then having my mother either leave me in jail or have me institutionalized, while good for the poems, probably wouldn't be the best thing to do. so i took a long hot shower instead. the problem with that is my left leg is getting so bad these days, it's not easy for me to stand anymore. that's always fun. on the verge of being disabled before i turn 42. good times.

NXT was really good last night. i could watch Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate wrestle for the next 50 years and never get bored.

Total Divas was pretty good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Young Sheldon, Life in Pieces and A Saturday Night Live Christmas Special.

i took mom out today to get money out of the ATM; get her handicap placard renewed and to the grocery store. the grocery store was fucking crazy. i know it's the first day of winter and it's nice out, but fuck me runnin'. it was like people thought we better get all this shit done while the sun is out, you know there's a chance of snow in the next few days. you can definitely put me in the anti-human category.

i'm hoping tomorrow will just be laundry day for me. i'd like to get some more writing done so i'm not trying to get that done while at my sister's house for Christmas.

well, that's one way to waste an afternoon

i just watched Manchester United lose to Bristol City. i'm about 50 different shades of fucking pissed at the moment.

amazingly, the Dayton Flyers were leading at halftime last night at Saint Mary's, 31-29. i then told my mother that one coach will make adjustments and one coach won't. you can take a fucking guess who is who. sure enough, Dayton started the second half cold as hell. and once it got back within reach with about 7 minutes left in the game. Saint Mary's went on a 14-0 run. it's really hard to fucking win on the road when your lone senior misses all 11 shots he takes in the game. this is going to be the season that i will realize i should have applied for the fucking job when Archie Miller left. Dayton lost 69-54. honestly, most of the second half didn't feel that close.

thankfully, the New York Rangers got a great effort from The King last night and defeated Anaheim 4-1. that's 3 wins in a row now. i do believe they have righted the ship after the horrific start to this season.

The Voice was really fucking good last night. it's easy to see why the show is so fucking expensive to make. i am happy with who won, as i predicted it a few weeks ago.

Smackdown was pretty good last night.

205 Live was pretty good as well last night.

Drop the Mic was pretty damn funny last night.

hopefully last medical trip of 2017

i took my mother to her ear doctor today. i was going to put the guy that fucked up her ear, but i decided not to. basically, she had another hearing test, which did show some hearing loss in one of her ears. also, he told her the only thing he could do was give her the same shit that fucked her up last time and mom wants no part of that. but, i think she had to go see him to satisfy the fuckers trying to deny her disability claim. hopefully this will be the last visit to a waiting room for 2017.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. Hideo Itami showed up. The Revival is back. and there will be a women's Royal Rumble at the ppv in January. that should be very interesting.

The Voice was really good last night. i still think Chloe will be the winner, although i wouldn't be shocked if Addison wins tonight either.

the Dayton Flyers play tonight out in California at Saint Mary's. Dayton is a pretty big underdog tonight, so i'm not expecting much from them. and if it gets really bad, i'll simply just go to sleep.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Anaheim. they are supposed to get Mika Zibanejad back from a concussion tonight. hopefully he gives the power play a much needed jolt of energy.

i did get all my Christmas gifts wrapped last night.

i often think the best poems invite you in, set the scene, beat you over the head and then send you on your way. in Ally Malinenko's new book, Fitting the Ocean in Your Mouth, there are about 120 pages of poems like that. if you have lived at all, you can find yourself in any of these poems. even if you have only lived a little, there's room for you in these poems. highlights from the book for me were: "Returning Your Things", "Angela", "The Flight to Madrid", "Suicide", "Movie Death", "Be Nicer", "Marble Soul", "Bleed Myself", "Orpheus", "Garage Sale" and "Sodden". i highly recommend getting a copy of this book and taking the time to enjoy these poems like a glass of fine wine.

a gloomy sky, perfect for a Monday...

this has been one of these days that i've been dragging nearly all day long. it's been rainy and gloomy all damn day today. and sadly, the more i try to sleep these days, the more restless i actually am. i only had a little over 4 hours last night and woke up this morning refreshed. more or less, i think i have turned into a cat. i nap on and off all day long and then can't fucking sleep at night for anything.

i did write 8 poems last night. i typed those up this morning. i really liked a few of them. i'm hoping to have another writing session like that before Christmas comes along. that will give me plenty to choose from when 2018 comes along. i've already had a few editors ask me to send work for 2018 now.

the New Orleans Saints did not play well yesterday. thankfully, even with 3 fucking turnovers, they found a way to beat the New York Jets 31-19. that keeps them in first place in the division. if they win their next two games (home against Atlanta and at Tampa Bay) they will win the division.

after the game was over, mom had me drive her over to Rite Aid in town to see if they had a few things she needed. $110 later, we were leaving. i did find a few things for myself that weren't pills or other things we needed for the house. one of those things you will hopefully see in any new YouTube videos i do in 2018.

Shameless was really good last night.

SMILF was fucking great last night. i believe the season finale is in 2 weeks.

WWE Clash of Champions was pretty good last night. i enjoyed most of the matches. and i will be really interested to see what happens on Smackdown on Tuesday.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and The Voice. i will be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i will hopefully get all the Christmas gifts i bought for my mother and sister wrapped tonight while watching wrestling.

thanks to everyone for the Christmas cards. i really do appreciate them.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

a restless night, hand wringing in the morning...

i didn't sleep worth a shit last night. i had plenty of alcohol in me, so sleeping should have been easy. instead, i was trying to work out poems with crazy ass phrases and having no damn luck. and then it became my imagination trying to steal kisses from an alien. no luck there either. fuck it.

Manchester United went up 2-0 in the first half this morning. and then they tried to sit on that lead for the second half. that's how i wanted to start my day, pissed off. thankfully, they didn't piss all of the lead away, winning over West Brom 2-1. i'm sure i'll enjoy the alcohol tonight.

the Dayton Flyers won in OT last night over Georgia State 88-83. i laughed when the game went into overtime as i said to my mom before i left, i didn't know what time i might be home, the game could go into 3 overtimes. i guess that's what i get for opening my mouth. Josh Cunningham had a monster game last night, 29 points and 18 rebounds. i still don't like what little offense this team runs. it's like watching paint dry most of the time. they next play out in California on Tuesday against Saint Mary's. i'll be amazed if they don't have their asses handed to them out there.

Saturday Night Live was fucking hilarious last night.

ROH was excellent last night.

the New York Rangers won in OT yesterday against Boston, 3-2. i only got to see the highlights from the game. amazingly, they are only 2 points out of first place in the division right now.

on the DVR tonight will be Shameless and SMILF. i'll be watching WWE Clash of Champions for most of the evening.

i have been underwhelmed by most of the buildup for Clash of Champions tonight. so that usually means the show will be better than i thought it would be. i'm hoping that's the case tonight.

the New Orleans Saints play at home today against the New York Jets. my favorite team against my mother's favorite team. things could get ugly in this house today.

it got pretty warm for December yesterday. i think when i left for the game it was around 45 degrees outside. of course, all that means is people will get sick and there is a pretty good chance for rain today. i'm trying not to read much into the advanced forecast for Christmas Eve. but i'm not liking the chance of snow and me having to drive up to Columbus in it.

that's all for me kids. i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

thoughts on a windy day...

so i wanted to be somewhat productive this morning. i went out to get gas for the car. of course, the wind was bad enough that the door closed on my bad leg before i could even fully get out of the damn thing. nothing quite like some blood before 9 in the morning. after i got the gas, i went and got breakfast. i was limping pretty bad when i walked into the house. mom asked me what happened. i simply said life.

after breakfast, i did take a shower. there's nothing quite like the feeling of warm water and soap hitting a fresh wound. thank god my pain tolerance still exists.

shopping this morning with mom wasn't too bad. we went to Office Depot first as she had some store credit that was going to run out soon. i got some envelopes i needed and a cheap notebook to write in. she had enough store credit to cover all of that. after that, we went to Meijer. that's the only store around here where mom can find small bottles of spices. it felt like we were restocking the pantry today. i got some more cheap notebooks for me to write in and a little sign for my room. I GET MY CARDIO BY RUNNING FROM ADULT RESPONSIBILITIES. that pretty much sums up my life i suppose.

the New York Rangers won last night against the Kings, 4-2. hopefully they can get another win today up in Boston.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

NJPW was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Saturday Night Live and ROH.

i saw the news this afternoon that the New York Yankees are bringing back CC for another year. the contract makes sense as well, $10 million. they still have enough room under the luxury tax number to bring in another starter as well.

it looks like i will be going to the Dayton Flyers game tonight by myself. mom isn't feeling that well. i get the sense that the shopping this morning was about all she could handle today. oh well. hopefully, i will get to see a better game than the last time Dayton played. it would also be nice to see a damn win.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays and before the New Orleans Saints take on the New York Jets.

i hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday. call if you need bail money.
